Sims Crafters Photography Event

We are hosting a photography event (I won't say contest because we aren't really judging but submitted photos will be put into a sims calendar for the 2025 year). The pictures need to be seasonal, holidays are welcome, and remember the calendar has both Northern and Southern hemisphere options so that if you want to shoot a Christmas scene in the summer there is a place for that picture! If you wish to join, please stop on by! and ask for a contestant role.

Pictures need to be either 512 by 512 or 1024 by 1024.

The contest will run from October 5, 2024 to November 24, 2024 so there is time to make the calendar before the New Year and before all the holidays. The calendar will be available first to Sims Crafters members as a reward for participating.

Episode 9- Hot and Cold Pt 1

The first date up with Blaze and boy did homeboy mess it up terribly. Out of no where Blaze started being mean to Penny for absolute no reason. Then Penny and him started being mean to one another to the point he had negative romance with her :/ Despite the date being awkward Blaze offered a white flag and they spent the rest of the date stargazing. Which meant they were able to salvage a bit of their romantic relationship. On the other hand, Penny had been so antsy to go on her solo date with Zaddy Darius. Our girl is so DOWN BAD for him. She was flirting with him and feeding him all dinner. They learned a lot about one another like, Darius now understands where Penny's rage/jealousy comes from (she told him about cain/vinny) and she learned a bit about his late wife. Maybe it was the champagne or her horniness but Penny invited Darius into her bedroom and in the middle of the nasty she confessed that she liked him a lot.... she's now so embarrassed and honestly, same girl. @aniraklova @rasoyas

Anywaaaaaays, tomorrow's part will be the second elimination!

It's me again~

I'm back!

I've missed Love Island so much and I really wanted to try it out again, only this time in a mansion in Tartosa! (This mansion was built by plumbobkingdom.) I had so much fun with the OG Love Island, even if life got in the way of finishing it. SO! I would love to host Love Island once again and need your amazing sims to do it!

Feel free to use alpha skins, though

I love cc, so use as much (or as little) as you want. I don't have all the packs, but I will change outfits and things if they disappear in my game because of that.

Please give a backstory for your sim so I know how to write them!

No occults, please!

Make sure your sim has the following outfits done: everyday, formal, sleep, swimwear, and hot weather!

Feel free to put multiple outfits for each category if you want!

Please tag me in the post so I don't miss it!!

There will be 8 sims in the mansion at a time. If your sim isn't chosen for the first round, they will be one of the sims who comes in later. Whenever a sim is eliminated, another enters.

This challenge will be interactive! You will decide who leaves, who wins the challenges, and, ultimately, who wins the whole thing.

I will be starting this as soon as I have eight sims, even if it's before the application deadline. Keep sending sims even if I've already started--the more the merrier!

Kyllikki Korhonen seems like your typical Finnish girl. She drinks milk with dinner, likes sauna, salmiakki and long hikes in the forests. Her surname is among the most popular in the country and her shaggy blonde hair gleams in the never-setting Finnish summer sun. Sounds boring? Well, let's start from the beginning.

We’re in some Finnish village, somewhere near the central point of Finland. Little Kyllikki Korhonen performs in front of her family, singing her favorite song by the group Fröbelin Palikat. She already feels that the stage is her destiny, but her parents have a different task for her - in the future, as the oldest child, she is to take over a successful dairy company. Kyllikki doesn't know about it yet and is enjoying her childhood. Unfortunately, she is not doing very well at school, she has problems with concentration and excels only in artistic subjects. Her original way of singing is quickly noticed and she’s sent to singing competitions. There she always does something that makes the audience laugh. Mainly, it involves forgetting the lyrics, so she has to improvise and her performance turns into a small comedy. You say that winners get all the glory and runners-up are quickly forgotten? Not in this case *high fives with Yusuf Dikeç*. Her "blunders" mean that she may not take first place, but she is well remembered thanks to her specific style and soon she is offered regular performances in a certain music club in Helsinki. So, under the pretense of studying, she goes to the capital with her childhood friend Marja, who promises to hide her actions from her parents. They claim that Kyllikki's entire singing career is "childish nonsense" - they are quite strict and not very modern. When they discover (thanks to a "kind person") the real reason for their daughter's departure to Helsinki, they tell her to “immediately wise up”, continue her studies and then return to the farm. However, Kyllikki has no intention of rotting in the countryside for the rest of her life. She wants to go abroad to entertain more people with her performances and see more than just her hometown and Helsinki. She feels the world is calling her. At this point, Marja steps in and tells her about Michael's BC. Kyllikki is hesitant at first, after all, her love life has been almost non-existent so far (only a few flings), but when she sees Michael's photo, she discovers in him a colorful personality and a kindred spirit (music!), so she decides to take a risk and participate.

This is where the story ends for now. Will Michael help Kyllikki write the next chapters?

Sims Crafters is having a community lot building contest

Well, maybe more of a friendly "lets do this together" type event is more accurate. Generally here are the important parts.

Join Sims Crafters if you haven't already.

The build is occurring between September 1 and September 21, 2024.

The goal is to produce functional (in some way) community lots that are common in real life but not normally build or supplied items for in game. Think out of the box. Gas stations, photography studios, banks, pharmacies, doctor's office, etc. Also keep it as cc free as possible. Shoot for no more than ten types of cc. Yes, odd wording but that means if you want to use the torrox build set as a whole, you can do that. custom recolors of a certain object, go wild, etc. The goal is to use your creativity and imagination and share ideas with others.

This is for Sims 2. Please check in for a contestant host or contestant role if you haven't got one already.
