It’s now the day of the Pro hero event at Bonin estate. You had spent all of yesterday recuperating from your breakdown with Miko and Shin by your side. Today felt better since they were doing everything they could to make you laugh and take care of all your needs.

Giving other people control was always difficult. Having things done in a very specific way wasn’t just a preference, it was a necessity. Trusting anyone to do something, let alone doing it right always felt like a mistake, thus making the phrase “If you want something done right, do it yourself” feel like your mantra.

But with Miko and Shin? They knew you and knew you well. They were the only two people you have ever let get this close to you and allow them to take care of your needs. They had managed to make your baggage feel so light over the last few years of knowing them, and it somehow made your mind twist into a single thought: Your damage had never felt so good.

You knew the way your mother treated you was wrong, and you never wanted to go through it again, but it was because of what happened that made your escape to have Miko and Shin find you. It never seemed to matter to them when you had breakdowns, needed to scream, or became distant from them.

In the beginning, they would just let you do your thing. Walk away when you need to, scream, or yell when you need to. But somewhere in the middle of it all, Miko sat you down and said that it was time to heal. They slowly started working with you on your healing process by holding you when you cried and wiping your tears away. Miko used to guide you to the shower and help you when your arms were numb, while Shin would make dinner and put your clothes in the drier so you could stay warm.

Then they started talking back when you screamed or yelled. Never once did they tell you your feelings were unjustified, and they always scolded you when you started attacking your self-worth. They used to say, “Don’t you ever talk to my friend like that” when you did.

And now? Now you are beginning to feel and notice yourself getting better. It no longer takes weeks to get back to being a functional human, but now only takes a few days. You were much more comfortable in your skin, even if wearing sexy clothing was difficult. You even felt more comfortable around mirrors, no longer crying or hating how you looked.

You were better, even if you weren't perfect, and that was all that mattered. They never stopped loving you, and helping you grow and heal. It even seemed like every victim had helped you truly let go of a part of your anger. It equated to writing down what you needed in a book and burning the pages to let it all go.

Tonight would feel truly amazing with that thought. Knowing that aside from your mother, you were halfway through the men that caused you so much pain and making way with avenging the death of your inner child and brother.

You had three hours until the event started, and Shin had suggested going home. You and Miko agreed but only if you both stayed in his apartment, due to the authorities having invaded your safe spaces. By the time you made it to his apartment, you had two hours to get ready, and Miko pushed you to the shower.

The water felt amazing. For the past six months, you’ve had to use your local gym to take your showers, which always felt too open and vulnerable. But this? This was amazing, you could make it as hot as you needed it to be, you didn’t have to wear shower shoes, and you didn't need to ration out your soaps. After about thirty minutes, Miko came in to pull you out and get you dressed and fix your hair and makeup.

She put various products in your hair and on your face. Massaging each product deep into your skin and scalp, and occasionally shaking your shoulder to keep you from relaxing too much. She kept your makeup simple, making sure to only put product where it would be visible to others, and giving you a bold, wine-red lip.

She dried your hair and then began dividing it into two sections, clipping the upper part away and putting the lower part into a mid-to-high ponytail. Pulling the upper part back, she uses a few pieces to frame your face, while putting the rest into another ponytail just above the larger one. Pulling a strand from underneath, she wraps it around the bands and pins it into place. Spraying everything into place, she then leaves you to get dressed.

She did an amazing job. You have never felt so gorgeous, especially in such a sexy dress. But everything looked so elegant and beautiful. Grabbing the handcuffs, taser, and mini revolver, you carefully place them into the small purse Miko found just two days prior. It had a long, thin strap and was the same wine-red color she had made your lips.

“Come on out, Y/N! We need to leave now so we can make it there in time!” Miko has been very anxious about today. She’s been trying to hide it, but she always chews on her lips or fingernails when she is feeling anxious.

“Yeah, yeah. I’ll be out in a minute!” You're yelling back, checking over yourself one last time before smoothing any creases you can find in the dress.

Running out to meet them at the door, you're putting on the heels while they begin their hyping and whistling.

“Damn, Y/N. You look amazing!” he says, smiling like an idiot at you.

“You do look amazing… Are you ready to get this done?” she looks so nervous, it almost seems like she wants to cry. Pursing her lips together and grabbing the keys, she waits on your reply.

“Yeah, I’m ready. And don’t worry, I’ll be okay.” rubbing her arm for some reassurance, she exhales and begins making her way to the car.

The ride over is quiet and uneventful. Miko parks the car in an alleyway near the estate and shuts off the lights. Hugging them goodbye, you slide out of the car and begin walking to the Bonin estate. Slinking your way around the property, you look for a spot to crawl onto the property without being seen. After that's done, you sneak your way around until you find an open window to let you into the house. You’re in the men's bathroom, but lucky for you, no one was in there yet.

Making your way further into the house, you find the main room to see various heroes and their dates conversing with each other and drinking flutes of champagne and eating small horderves. You begin moving around the room, grabbing side snacks and a flute to blend in, waiting to hear where to find Reiko. Unfortunately, it’s too early for anyone to have that kind of information, so you find a tall table to stand next to and watch the room.

You’re looking at each masked hero, labeling each one you recognize, and taking small sips from your glass. People are still making their way into the main hall, but it’s not hard to miss Red Riots' bright smiles and red hair. He has another pro hero hanging off his arm. Said hero is known as Pinky and she is just as energetic as he is, if not more. Walking in with them is a blonde-haired man, undoubtedly Dynamite.

Dynamite is dressed in a black button-up shirt, a deep red tie, black dress pants, and shoes. His mask is almost exactly like his hero costume, just missing the two explosion pieces on the back of his head. His signature scowl is ever present on his face while he looks around the room and makes his way to a server, grabbing champagne.

It’s been about twenty-five minutes now, and it seems like everyone is finally here for the night. There’s a loud, high-pitched tinging sound coming from the front of the main hall, where Reiko, his wife, and two children are standing to greet their guests.

“Good evening and welcome! I am very pleased to have you all here in support of our cause! We thank you all very much for helping raise awareness and giving donations to the Bonin Family Park to help children have fun and learn the importance of maintaining a healthy body and a sound mind. With that being said, please enjoy the rest of the party, and we hope you have a wonderful time!”

Once his speech is over, the music picks up and people begin to dance, eat, and talk to one another. You, however, start making your way to Reiko's side of the room.

“Oh my god! You look stunning! I’m sorry if this is rude, but I don't recognize you, what’s your hero name?” A pink hand juts out of the sea of people to grab at your wrist.

Looking up you find Pinky looking into your eyes. Hers are beautiful, scary, but beautiful and they shine with excitement. Looking past her you find both Red Riot and Dynamite staring in your direction, watching as this event takes place.

“I’m not a hero. Just a Bonin family friend, here to show support,” you answer, pulling your hand from her embrace and trying to turn your body away from her.

“Oh, well that’s cool. What’s your name then? Mine is Mina Ashido, but you can call me Mina.” she smiles at you, disregarding the fact that you never asked, nor did you care to be her friend.

“I’m sorry, but I’m actually in a hurry.”

“Oh, I’m sorry… You’re sure you can’t hang out even a little bit?” she still hasn’t let go of your wrist and is making the same face Miko makes when she wants something. Shit.

“Yeah, hang out with us for a little while! We don’t bite or anything!” Red Riot chimes in from her right

Did he not notice who you were? It works in your favor, but it’s a little strange considering he had been so close to catching you once. It’s also difficult to trust this situation. One misstep could lead to your downfall, and the chances of that happening seem pretty high with these three.

“I mean, I don’t know, I really should be going-”

“What’s the point in coming to a party if you’re going to leave thirty minutes in.” Dynamite huffs, staring you down.

Now you’ve lost your voice. You feel like you’ve been caught in a trap with no logical way out. Normal people would be swooning at the opportunity to talk to these heroes right now, not to mention having Pinky touch them like she is touching you right now.

Your lack of an answer had somehow made Pinky assume it was a ‘yes’, causing her to drag you to a table with her friends. Setting you down, she begins her questions.

“I love this dress, where did you get it? And your lip color looks amazing on you! It even matches your purse perfectly! I have such a hard time doing things like that, since it takes so much time to find the right shades, hehe”

“My friend found everything. She was a little too excited and I suck at finding things for events like this, so I let her dress me up” you’re downing your third glass of champagne, firmly setting the empty glass on the table in front of you before flagging down the waiting staff for water.

“You never gave us your name.” Dynamite states. Something about the look in his eyes is putting you off. It’s like he knows something he shouldn’t. Like he knows who you are.

“It's Mizu Amane. You may call me Mizu though,” you state.

You’re practically begging any god or deity who’s listening, to make them believe in your awful choice of a fake name.

“Nice! It’s nice to meet you Mizu!” Red Riot chimes in.

“Oh my god Ei, I love this song! Come dance with me, now!” Pinky is pulling him after her, she turns to wave at you and Dynamite before saying, ”You two should get to know each other! I think you’d get along”

Facing him, you take a deep breath and stare down at your lap, fiddling with your fingers while he stares down at you from the seat next to yours. How do you leave this? This is entirely too uncomfortable and awkward, not to mention it seems like even if you tried, he would bite your head off.

“You want something to drink?” he asks, standing and waiting on a response.

“Just some water, please.” This could be it, this could be your chance to leave.

“Really? You come to a party, down a whole flute of champagne while making conversation, and you want water?”

“Uh…yes?”

“Wait here,” he says flatly before putting his hands in his pockets and walking away.

The last words you had managed to mutter had sounded so stupid, you wished you could drown in the water you’d asked for. They were practically the most pronounced way of announcing how awkward and uncomfortable you were.

Before you realized it, he was back, placing a shot in front of you from behind. His smell was intoxicating. It was warm and sweet like cinnamon and warm amber. His eyes, a deep red, stared back at you, watching you before clarifying,

“Loosen up. Parties are s'posed to be fun, aren't they” he says, pulling away from you and downing his shot before sitting next to you again.

He’s not exactly wrong. Although it’s less than favorable to be in this situation, you haven’t been caught yet and Reiko wouldn’t have left his own home while hosting a party. Plus, with so many pro heroes around, he is bound to feel safe, even if you did come after him in full force. Bringing the shot up to your face, you take a whiff before downing it and placing the glass in front of you.

“Thanks for that… I’m sorry if I came off as rude. It was nice spending this time with you, but I do need to go. I might be here in support, but I’m also here to help someone I know.” bowing your head slightly, you get up and make your way back toward the door Reiko last walked through.

The halls were dark and hard to navigate, but while you adjusted to the lack of light, things became a little more clear. Removing your shoes, you snuck along the walls until you found an open door, where a dim light shone through.

Peering inside, you find Reiko, alone, and standing, staring down at a computer screen. Checking the hall, you decide now is as good a time as any. Slipping effortlessly into the room, you pull out your taser. Walking up behind him, you almost wanted to laugh.

This was too easy. Reaching up, you jam the taser against his pulse point and hold down the little button. His body went rigid before falling on the floor. Lowering yourself next to him, you repeat the action, watching his eyes roll up while he tries to force his arms up. Reaching down, you use your foot and free arm to rip the front part of your dress off, starting at your knees. Then, shoving the material into his mouth and tasing him again.

He rolls over, attempting to pull the cloth out of his mouth, but you’ve got the handcuffs now. Grabbing his weak arms and securing them behind him, you look around the room for any tools that can aid you.

Leaving him to squirm on the floor, you lock the door and every window. Closing each curtain, you then grab the desk chair, rolling it into the middle of the room. Struggling, you lift Reiko off the floor and throw him into the chair.

“Do you know who I am and why I’m here?” you whisper, staring into his eyes.

He looks terrified, eyes glossing over with confusion and breathing unstable. Shaking his head ‘no’, he begins to mumble.

“Not a fuckin’ noise.” grabbing his face, you pull him closer to your face. Using your free hand, you remove the mask you had been wearing. You can see in his eyes that it's just not clicking.

“My name is Y/N. I had a little brother once.” you watch the cogs turn before the color drains from his face.

“I need to know” you whisper, “How the fuck you can love two kids the way you love yours,” grabbing his tie, you pull until it's too tight for him, “after you did all that shit to me and a now dead little boy.”

You wait for a reply, but you know you won't get one. Every victim you’ve had so far has never given you an answer. You can remember how you’d begged the first victim to answer you before stabbing them. Assuming your mother had bought or threatened their silence, you would tell yourself to learn how to be okay with no answer.

He moves his lips, so you allow him to speak. Removing the cloth from his mouth, he says one word. “Mercy”

“HA, you think I’m going to give you mercy? The only mercy you’ll get from me is a quick death. I don’t play with prey, and I’m only here to avenge my dead brother and heal my inner child. Knowing the people who hurt me most are dead is the only release I’ve found for this.” you shove the cloth back into his mouth.

Turning around you go through the room, looking for anything to use. Making a mental note of the cabinet full of cleaning supplies, you continue making your way through the room. Going through his desk drawers, you find a pair of scissors. Hurting this man would bring you peace, but it was never easy. You still had to close your eyes when you did it, and remembering each time they hurt you only aided in your anger. Not your actions.

You take a deep breath, closing your eyes and remembering how they would laugh at you when you cried. How they would mock you when you would beg and plead to be let go. How they would speak sweetly to you while they used belts to slap you anywhere they could. You remember your brother's last words to you.

Sobbing, he said “Y/N, why doesn’t she love us? What’s wrong with us?” and that's what always breaks you. A ten-year-old child should never have to ask or worry whether or not they are loved. Parents are supposed to protect their children from the monsters, not invite them in.

Turning around, you make your way to Reiko and stab the scissors into his left bicep. He lets out a muffled scream before you twist the blade further into his arm. Removing it, you then stab into his upper thigh. You continue to stab into his thigh until you’re sobbing and covered in blood.

His crying and screaming had stopped before you decided you were done with him. Looking at his face, you find his eyes barely open. He is alive, but only barely. If people don't find him soon, he will bleed out. But that's not your problem anymore. He wasn't in your mind anymore, and that's all you needed.

Standing, you begin cleaning up your mess from around the room. They knew your name and what you looked like, so disinfecting every surface was no longer necessary. But you still liked to do it. For the next hour, you went around the room, cleaning every surface while leaving his body and blood untouched.

Everything smelled like bleach and lemons, and you used the last of the rags to wipe your feet clean before putting your heels on. Grabbing a trash bag, you place every cleaning product and the scissors into it and throw it just outside of the window.

You unlock the door before using the window to make your escape. Doing your best to close the window from outside, you then find the same space you came in through to take your trash bag out. You carefully make your way back to the car, throwing the trash into the back and climbing into the back seat.

Miko and Shin only stared. As much as they liked to help you, you never let them be a part of this. They’ve never seen you after you commit these crimes, so you know the sight of you covered in someone else's blood and wearing a torn dress is hard.

Miko slaps a hand over her mouth before turning around and starting the car. Everything is silent until you hear Miko breathe. She was crying. You know this is hard for her. It's real to her now, and nothing will ever remove this image of you from her mind's eye. Knowing this, you turn to look out the window, twisting your face into a sore sight before wrapping yourself in your arms.

Once you’re all back at Shins' apartment, you all separate. Shin goes to the kitchen, Miko goes into the living room and you go to the bathroom. You don’t want to know what she saw. You knew if you saw how you looked, it would only aid in making you hate yourself. Hating yourself wasn’t going to fix this, so it wasn’t even worth it.

You spend an hour scrubbing every inch of your body raw to remove any evidence of tonight, so Miko could look at you again. Knowing that she has never experienced this, and has been so close to you, you fear she may leave now. What if she hates you? What will you do then?

This idea brings burning hot tears to the surface, before falling down your face. You don't stop crying, not even when you turn the shower off. You just sit naked on the floor, crying as quietly as you can to not disturb them.

You don’t remember falling asleep, but Shin is now waking you up and dressing you. He picks you up, walks you to his bed, and lays you there. He leaves for a minute before returning with Miko. They both crawl into bed, on either side of you, and lay with you.

You all sat in silence, waiting for someone to speak. The longer you waited, the more you wanted to apologize and beg her to still love you.

“I still love you. I just wasn’t ready for that reality yet,” she whispers, almost so quiet you would have missed it entirely.

“Let's go to bed. We can talk in the morning.” And with that, they both turned to hold you and fell asleep with you sobbing between them.

It took hours before you allowed yourself to sleep. Guilt and nerves ate away at your insides throughout the night, not knowing what they were going to say to you once they woke up. Did she say she still loved you? How could you still love someone after the realization that they killed someone hits them in the face with no warning? And what about Shin? He hasn’t said anything to you this entire time. He only picked you up off the floor and got you ready for bed. How could they sleep in the same room as you right now? Not to mention the same bed or the fact that they’re touching you. Are you even good enough for their love at this point? Are you deserving of love?

Shin starts stirring in his sleep before he wakes up. Looking at his alarm clock just behind him, it’s five a.m. You watch as he slowly pulls himself out of bed before he turns around and uses a finger to beckon you. Following behind him, he leads you to the kitchen and pulls out cooking utensils and ingredients. Sitting at the kitchen bar, you just watch in silence.

“I know you’re overthinking things.” He whispers, “but I told you a while ago that we were your family. We’ve known for a long time that you were doing illegal things, and we have aided and abetted in this process. We have been just as guilty in everything that has happened, even if you haven't let us near the bloody part of these crimes.”

You have no words. What were you supposed to say to that statement? If you think about everything that has happened, he isn’t lying. They realized years ago that healing you wasn’t easy and no matter how hard you tried to use healthy coping mechanisms, they never truly helped you let go.

They were the ones that suggested you go out and show these men and your mother what they did. You decided unintentionally that bringing them to the brink of death during your first attack was what helped. They were the ones that patched you up when you came home, even if it was after you did what you could on your own so they didn’t see the extent of your damage. They listened to your plans, helped you gather information on the victims, and hid you when the time came for it. Even if they weren't by your side while you were beating and stabbing your victims, they were still just as much to blame as you have been.

When you didn’t say anything, he decided to leave it at that and began making french toast. You watch him as he washes his hands, wrists, and half of his forearm before drying them. He pulls out various bowls measuring cups and spoons before he works on combining everything.

He uses one bowl to mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together. Placing the skillet on a burner, he melts butter before whisking the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, milk, and eggs together. Once he's happy with how it looks, he pours this concoction into another dish before dipping several pieces of bread into it and placing them in the skillet.

Once they’re done cooking, he pulls out three cream-colored plates and puts three pieces of bread on each plate. Shifting a small amount of powdered sugar on each plate and putting a thinly sliced square of butter on them, he gives a happy sigh. He grabs three forks, glasses, and a glass cruet full of syrup before walking them to the table behind you. While you’re making your way to the table, he is running off to wake Miko up.

She is wearing one of Shin’s band t-shirts. Her long, black hair is an absolute mess and she is yawning while shuffling her way to you. She sighs and lays herself across your back, hugging you gently.

“Good morning, hun”

“Morning” you mumble as she sits next to you

“You didn’t sleep, did you” she states with a mouthful of sweet bread

“Not exactly”

“It’s alright, Miko. I already talked to her.”

“Oh, alrighty then. Glad it’s all settled then!” She smiles big and you all spend the day cleaning, napping, and watching random movies together. The following few weeks were spent similarly.

Shin had an old friend of his make fake IDs for you and Miko with new names to go by so it wouldn't be as risky in public. Miko’s new name was Mia Reo and yours was Mizu Amane. They both decided it was a good new name after hearing you tell three pro heroes to avoid detection. It was almost embarrassing, especially when you heard on the news later that pro-hero Pinky had tweeted, asking if anyone knew where she could find you after the party.

You also found the news reporting on how it was ‘pathetic and sad’ that a party full of pro-heroes couldn’t seem to protect one simple person. They were all facing backlash at their inability to stop you, and the only reason they knew it was you was because of your signature crime scene. It was completely clean aside from the body and blood being left alone.

The Bonin family was ‘devastated’ by the loss of the head of their household, but you didn’t want to hear their side of things. You knew your heart couldn’t handle knowing someone out there thought that man was a good husband, father, and friend after he had broken you alongside seven other men and your wretched mother.

You decided today was a good day to go shopping for food and convinced Shin and Miko to let you do this alone. Telling them it would be nice to get some alone time and be out and about in town. You wore Shin’s tight black turtleneck, putting a short-sleeved dark gray band t-shirt over it and a pair of black cargo pants and combat boots.

Grabbing a black tote bag, you make your way into town, On the way you decide the music is a must, and pull up a playlist and put your earbuds in, you’re walking down the sidewalk, looking down at your phone while looking for the perfect song to start playing when you hit a brick wall. However, this brick wall was warm and smelled familiar. Looking up, your eyes meet a set of deep red ones, surrounded by a black mask.

Taking a few steps back, you realize it was none other than Dynamite. Aka, the worst thing to happen to you today. Your face was completely blank, or so you thought. He has his signature scowl, which one can only assume is his neutral face. Looking at his mouth, you see them moving and decide to remove your earbuds.

“I’m sorry?”

“You should watch where you’re going. It’s stupid to be unaware of your surroundings like that.” He scolds in what seems like an annoyed voice, but at least he’s not arresting you or yelling at you.

“I’m sorry sir, I’ll be more car-”

“Don’t I know you?” he says a bit louder now

“It’s Mizu…” you mumble, looking down at the ground

“Haa?” He’s smiling now, not a good sign. “You were at that party then. Mind if I ask you some questions then”

“Oh, um, I’d rather not talk about the party” you’re feigning sadness, and it seems to work. Only now he is grabbing your phone from your hands.

“Hey, what the hell do you think you’re doing? Give that back!”

“Calm down, here you go. I put my number in. I’ll text you so we can discuss this at a later time.”

The audacity of this bitch! Who the fuck does he think he is?

“What makes you think I want you to have my personal information like that? Are you fuckin’ dense?!”

“Who doesn’t want a pro heroes number? You wouldn’t have anything to hide from ‘em now wouldja?”

“...no…” you couldn’t be more obvious, but maybe, just maybe he wouldn’t question it.

“Okay then. I’ll be on my way. Expect to hear from me later tonight.” and he’s walking away from you.

This couldn’t be real, could it? He was going to text you? Your number one enemy was going to text you? What were you supposed to do now? Do you tell Shin and Miko, or leave this exchange to yourself? They were great friends and even better at helping you, but they may ruin this opportunity. If you could play your cards right, you could mislead your enemy and use that to get away better. You wouldn’t have to worry about the damages you’ve been enduring and making your friends endure if you could just mislead him. For that to happen though, your profoundly annoying hero would have to be an idiot. So, you’ll just have to hope he is.

Demise!Izuku as a Youtuber?

Yep! You heard me right. Demise server is a strange little land, full of strange little ideas, unfortunitely this one idea in particular wasn’t so little. So without further ado here’s all the shit we came up with in the server in regards to izuku as a youtuber within demise!au:

Knifemaking videos but with axes

Izuku decided to do a wardrobe tour and like 4 things were bloodstained which he never addressed. The most popular comment was what happened, which of course he never answered.

Izuku does these new year (like all of the questions from last year) or milestone Q+A’s/AMA's which are basically people just asking a bunch of the things he wouldn't answer or address before. A lot of his viewers write down and timestamp when he does something and doesn't address it. If you don't you'll never hear an answer.

He has his boonk gang phrase which is probably like Bandit gang or some shit like that, which he shouts while breaking into places. UA dorm rooms, UA facility office, UA, Hero Agency’s, Endeavour's bedroom (Don't ask), etc.

He has a variety of videos where he does things from different communities. For example he has a few hair tutorial and following hair tutorial videos. Same for makeup.I feel like Izuku would also have some dresses and slutty Halloween costumes that be put on in a video all while looking like someone who just had finals and was studying for 4 days straight beforehand.

At like 4AM a thought hit Izuku to have Trash Bandit meet Kouta for the first time and learn what his sheep talks about and what he has to say. Needless to say he took his camera, went to UA, stormed the dorms, went up to the shy kid sheep in hand, looked him dead in the eye, and asked “What is my sheep saying.” bandit speaks and Kouta goes from confused and slightly scared to disgusted and horrified. What did Bandit say? Who the fuck knows…

Izuku loves analysis and while he doesn't do it for heroes anymore when he misses it too much sometimes he does it with tv shows or other things.

Idk what yet but Izuku is weirdly good at something and only showed it on camera once. (He's casually known to be a good artist) Whatever he's good at he did it once for a video and it's in one of the most popular compilation videos of him. 15 minutes of Izuku being a cinnamon roll.

Izuku has a shit ton of videos featuring the UA kids. He has some playlists dedicated to certain ones even if all you see is the back of their head.

Any proceeds Izuku manages to get (he is popular but he gets demonetized a lot) goes to different charities for the quirkless.

He made only 1 serious cooking video on his birthday, but instead of using a knife he used an axe.

He has a video called “My sharp things (tour)” where he just shows off all of his knives and axes and shit along with a massive pair of scissors he got Momo to make.

Deliverable #6: Concept Art

［Character Design］

1.Twitter Account, Character Design & Appearance, Actress

The characters in our project story have their own Twitters in the real world. It is the first step to getting into our story. Our audience (users) can learn about the characters’ appearance, personalities, and features. This may make the users become curious about our story. Also, we plan to update those character's twitter account at least twice a week by using actress’ photo.

-Jane’s twitter account

A typical introverted interface. The photos on her Twitter page shows her as a shy girl. Though she enjoys life, she does not smile when she show her face on her Twitter. Also, she only show her half body rather than whole body.

Furthermore, the characters’ appearance can show their personalities and drive the story’s progress. The main character Jane’s appearance is the key feature in this story.

-Jane’s appearance

Appearance 1: Small eyes, low profile nose, small cheekbones. Plump body with wearing loose and simple clothes. No makeup.

Appearance 2: Eyes become bigger, cheekbones are bigger, and nose becomes straight. Still wearing loose and simple clothes. With a little makeup.

Appearance 3: Same facial features as Appearance 2. Slim arms show under her clothes that are in smaller size.

Appearance 4: Slim body with wearing suit clothes. Her face shows she has more confident now. But her clothes shows her character that is introversion. Since she is an introverted person, she only wearing suit clothes rather than sexy clothes.

Appearance 5: Same wearing style as Appearance 4. Mixing the eyeliner and makeup remover can show those flecks on arms and waist.

Jane was born in China and grew up in Canada. She is an introverted person and does not like to talk at most of the time. This is because her parents are very severe, and they do not think it is a good thing for girls to be too outgoing and noisy. Though Jane does not show her thoughts obviously, she always takes care of others quietly, especially Alex. Over time Alex and Jane has been together for four years, the main reason in the Jane is probably because she loves Alex so much. Jane always worried that he will lose from her, and she would do everything Alex want, everything Alex asks for.

Remember when they were together, Jane does not do fully makeup, she never knows which brand of cosmetics are better than another. But then she becomes more and more self-abased especially when she meets Ivy. Ivy is outgoing and beautiful, everyone loves talking to her, even Alex. She starts to consider that Alex does not love her as before. She thinks Alex loves Ivy. She is jealous of Ivy, for her character and most importantly, her appearance.

Finally, Jane becomes to a fashion insider by using the Beauty Spray. She believes that if she becomes more beautiful, Alex will love her forever. A few days ago, Jane felt that Alex is no longer concerned about herself, Jane felt anxious with a little inferiority, and blaming herself.

-Jane’s Actress

We chose Katja to portray this character, Jane. Because Katja has a nice body. When changing the appearance, she can wears different clothes, and different makeup style.

-Ivy’s twitter account

The photos and words on her Twitter page are positive and sunny. Her selfies of study and working develop her as an independent and confident girl. Her recent tweets show that she is busy.

-Ivy’s appearance

Appearance 1: In work. This appearance is relaxed and comfortable. And this logo (ZETA) showing that she is working on ZETA Tea Shop. She is always smiling.

Appearance 2: For ordinary days. This appearance is comfortable and daily. And wearing a dress in winter shows her love of beauty and the taste as a girl. This dress shows her body’s good shape.

Ivy is Jane’ colleague in a tea shop, and they have worked together for a long time. She is tall and beautiful, and she is always willing to help. Besides, she lives alone since she was a child, thus she becomes particularly independent and confident. In most of the time, Alex meets Ivy and talks with her for a while when he goes to the tea shop for finding Jane. When Alex encountered problems, Ivy always give him some advices. And Alex think she is beauty and smart. Sometimes, Alex wish that Jane can also be the same as ivy, eyes bigger, body better. When creating an antagonist for the protagonist in the Kutoka’s, it provides the antagonist with an understandable motive to explain why the antagonist is blocking the protagonist’s way. In this video, Alex wishes Jane can be more beautiful like Ivy, as “the first act inciting incident”, can help sharpen the conflict and supply some obstacles. By understanding the motivation, people can create more compelling works of this video. The second act turning point is when Jane decided to change herself. And the “third act climax” is the ending part.

-Ivy’s Actress

We chose Elise Chen to portray Ivy, since Elise is truly work at the ZETA Tea Shop. Elise’s character is quite similar to Ivy, both of them are enthusiasm, nice and shinning. Elise is always smiling, so do Ivy.

-Alex’s twitter account

Except for his tweets about himself, he likes commenting and clicking “like” under others’ tweets, especially Jane and Ivy’s. Most of his Twitters are forwardings. He has commented Ivy to drive her home at snow days, which causes Jane’s sensitivity. Besides, Alex is a photographer, and he tweets a lot of landscape images in his account.

-Alex’s appearance

A tall boy. From his appearance, we want to show that he pays a lot of attention to his clothes and temperament aspect; thus, he is always the center of people’s attention. His appearance is always full of luxuries.

Alex is a Chinese graduate student who is studying in Canada. He has grown up in a rich scholar family. In whatever academic or temperament aspect, Alex is always the center of people’s attention. He is a playboy and is not mature enough. Indeed, he has a little vanity. Most of his friends are very handsome rather than smart, and it causes his seeking for people’s appearance.

Alex represents himself like a masculine, but he would love to do everything he can for his girlfriend.

-Alex’s Actress

We chose Eric to portray Alex, because Eric is tall and fashion.

［Storyworld and Subsetting Design］

Key scenes in the video that help to build the story world and make it like a story happens in today.

-ZETA Tea Shop (The location for Jane and Ivy’s part-time job)

2.Describe

Our story in this project is based on the real world, but a virtual one with things can impossibly happen in the real world. The main item that plays important part in our story is the Beauty Spray – a spray can make people’s body become easily to reshape, along with the side-effect of the re-changed body will become dystrophy and get dark.

Many interactive projects include a virtual world developed by themselves. One example is the game “the Sims”. In this game, the users are guided to get into a virtual doll world. Just like the real world, the Sims has weather changing, different seasons, and any other possible natural hazards. What’s more, all the virtual people have their own thoughts and characters. And they can grow up with the same progress in real world.

As what the Sims has created, the virtual world in our story also has many parallel items from the real world. It includes all the setting in the real world.

Our story happens during a period that most people consider slim, roman nose, and big eyes as beauty. This phenomenon comes from the real society. Recent years, weight-loss and face-lifting are getting more and more popular. It is good to keep in shape to stay a healthy situation. However, many girls do not use the healthy way to lose their weights by fast but unhealthy ways such as being on a diet and eating a lot of medicines. There are also many girls do not satisfy with what they look like originally. And they go to lift their faces – some common degrees such as double eyelid surgery and nose surgery; but some of them using the facelift surgery to change a totally different appearance. A very famous one would be the woman who spent $500,000 on surgery to look like Barbie. There is meaningless for us to judge if this phenomenon is right or wrong, but we want to reveal it, and exaggerating the potential harm to tell our audiences the achievement that got easily may lose easily. What’s more, we want to show the consequence of greedy.

Rules and structure provide an equally fair and consistent playing environment to all players.

For the same reason, stories in every medium have a structure and format of how they begin, develop, and end. Furthermore, although stories don’t follow set rules, they are guided by internal conventions. This ensures that behaviors and events within the fictional universe are consistent and logical and make sense within the story. Even a fantasy universe like the one portrayed in the Harry Potter novels, films, and games must remain faithful to its own internal set of rules. For instance, if it is established that characters cannot pass through physical structures unless they recite a secret spell, Harry or one of his classmates should not suddenly be able to blithely walk through a wall without using the spell. That would violate the rules of magic already established in the story. Internal conventions provide a narrative equivalent of a fair playing field.

We will not only create the story world based on the real world, but also use the real world’s tools to make the story world “real”. That’s why we will develop Twitters for the Beauty Spray and the two main characters.

The Disney’s movie “Zootopia” gives us a lot of inspirations. Disney is a good example of using transmedia and developing a successful story world. Even though it is a cartoon movie, the products in it come from the real world. For examples, the character uses a smartphone called looks almost the same as iPhone except the apple has been changed as a carrot. And the app appears in the movie, which is supposed as a fictional one, also comes out in the real world.

In this case, we will develop a parallel between the story world and the real world.

A small box appears on the screen, under the character, in order to introduce him/her.

-Style 2 (interactive options) Users Choice Making: Small boxes with options appearing on the screen.

2.Describe

Each character had the specific trait, and those traits lead to some particular plots. Take the protagonist Jane as an example, she will always do whatever their lover asked, because in her opinion, love is everything, and she would like to sacrifice herself to earn Alex’s love. On the other hand, audience can see each character’s action and guess their trait, which creates a whole story.

Since we use multilinear, each presentation of a storyline can be different. Characters in linear media are created exclusively by writers and can never change, but audiences are story driven. Because the major events or challenges that the audience will need to deal with during the narrative is that audiences need to make different decisions for different characters. Even if narrative plays an essential role, and the choices made by the audiences profoundly affect how the story is experienced. It means that sequences of events can play out differently in the same medium and the same narrative, so, for example, there can be different endings, beginnings or middles of a narrative each time it is run through.

The tone of this narrative is from literary to dark. In the beginning, we want to slowly prove the different plots step-by-step. Within the soothing music, mostly, the audience won’t feel any depressed, excepting the limited period when audience makes those decisions. In the end, when the music stop, audiences can saw some pieces of jewelry stay in the tub, or Jane gets a bowl of water from bathroom and heating. At that time, they know more than that character, and realize what is happening (Jane kill herself by mistake, or Alex got kill by Jane). It will create a sense of fear.

3. Interactivity: User’s role and point of view (POV)

Audiences have many possible roles they can play in an interactive narrative. In digital storytelling, we have two major categories of characters; one large group consists of the audience characters. These are the characters over which the audience have direct control. This project offers the audience an array of choices of role, such as the protagonist (Jane), Alex, or the antagonist (Ivy). In this way, audiences can view the virtual world from more than one possible point of view. And, characters in interactive narratives can break the fourth wall and talk directly with the user. At the same time, introducing an element of uncertainty can also increase dramatic tension, since uncertainty is a close cousin to suspense, which is the burning desire to know what will happen next. For example, in this project, Ivy might have enemies in disguise. When the audience took the first-person POV with the role of Ivy, they can decide what this character should be: kindly or being a jealous people, clever or silly. If the audience decided Ivy is a jealous people, the character will seduce Alex and let him fall in love with her. At the same time the audiences can hear the thought of Ivy, such as how she envies about Jane, and how she has a favorable impression of Alex. If the audience decided Ivy is a kindly and clever people, Alex would love her; in this case, Ivy did not know. Besides, when the audience took the role of those characters, they can make decision depend on the specific situation, or their personality opinion. It will lead to different sense, and different ending.We will mix the first- and third-person POV together in this virtual world: via the first-person (Jane, Alex, or Ivy) and third-person (audiences) POV, because of the first- and third-person POVs each have their advantages and disadvantages. In this film, the decision whether to use the first- or third-person POV depends on to a large degree on the kind of situation being offered in this film. When this film needs to illustrate the character’s mood, the first-person perspective gives us great immediacy and impressiveness. It can create a sense of connecting to the user and the material. On the other hand, the third-person POV allows us to see the character’s movements and facial expressions, so the character is so well-defined visually. When emphasizing some particular actions, using the Beauty Spray, for example, we can use the third-person POV to show character’s face, such as exciting, or anxious. When the character chooses to kill Alex, the third-person POV can also show character’s face with nervous, guilty, or ferocious.

With a first-person POV, we see the action as if they were right there and viewed it through our own eyes. We can see the world around them, but we don’t see ourselves, except for perhaps a hand or a foot or something are holding. The first-person POV is much like the way their experience things in real world. For instance, with a first-person(Jane) POV, we see the how she becomes depressed and changes to be jealous when she saw Alex and Ivy’s endless chatting. As an introvert girl, others do not talk with Jane much. However, after using the Beauty Spray, Jane gets more attention from others, and she became expects other’s praise to her own. Also, when Jane brushes her teeth and suddenly see a piece of black meat in her arm, she is scared and tries to wipe off the black, but it is still there. The screen can only show the arm, like seeing this through Jan’s eyes. Also, Ivy is shyly and smiling when Alex is looking at her. Audiences can only see Ivy (from Alex’s position), like seeing this through Alex’s eyes. Or, when Alex walk in the Tea shop, he sees Ivy is smiling when she working.

In this way, audiences can see the different mood with the first-person POV. Furthermore, with a first-person POV, people can feel more reality. For instance, when Jane using the computer and trying to find a way to get beauty, the screen can only show Jane’s hands, and the computer. In this way, people can seeing as many as Jane. In addition, when Jane holding the Beauty Spray ready to use it, or open the package and take out the Beauty Spray, all illustrate in the first-person POV. Thus, audiences might feel that they are the protagonist, and they are the person who doing these things.

With the third-person POV, on the other hand, we are watching those characters in the distance in a movie. We can see the character’s body in motion and can see his or her facial expressions, too. Sometimes, the audience can guess the development of the story be based on the current behavior of characters. For example, Ivy is shyly and smiling when Alex is looking at her. Audiences can see both of them, and infer that Ivy might have feelings for him (Alex). Also, with the third-person POV, our protagonist can be extremely well-developed visually. Cut scenes show characters from the third-person POV, as well. At the end of the movie, audiences know more than characters.

Meanwhile, when people are watching the narrative, they can make the decision and see the different outcome. For example, when the sight of their backs(Jane, Alex, and Ivy) walking closely and happily, frame shot, and three small box appears on the screen — choose the character you wanna use through the whole story. Different options leads to different line. When audiences choose different character, they can hear different character’s O.S. — which is change the third-person POV to first-person POV. Also, It can create a sense of game. Besides, people can make different decisions in the third-person POV to influence the story. It will create a sense of participation. For example, people, who care more about the beauty of the appearance or want to see how the consequence of this behavior, might decide to use Alex’s body to fill her own body. Or, other people might choose the one that makes a huge difference from the other. June, in this ending, will get a well-proportioned body and let Alex love her more. By contrast, in Alex POV, people might want his girlfriend to become more beautiful. Jane keeps using the Beauty Spray, and then kills Alex for filling her own body.

4. User’s engagement

Because interactive cinema is a direct descendent of movies, one of the contemporary world’s most beloved forms of entertainment, we want to build some material that would make audiences want to invest their time in it.A certain feature that was designed to create tension and offers reward for the participants to keep the user interested and involved. All the characters have their own thoughts and characters. When the audience took on the role of Jane, I will use a device called a ticking clock to pump up the adrenaline and keep the audience glued to the story. For instance, this project was given a specific and limited period show that how many days (such as 2 days) the man (Alex) will leave Jane. If the audience makes the decision on time (in 1 minute, for example), such as use the Beauty Spray and become more beauty, the protagonist will get more days (e.g.30 days) that stay with Alex. If the audience doesn’t make the decision on time, the protagonist might lose the part of her own body, or lost Alex’s love. Thus, audience members can assemble the story in any order, depending on the order in which they. The protagonist will be upset if she loses Alex’s love, which is a kind of penalties, and being happy if they still being together, which is a kind of penalties. Because, for the protagonist, love is everything. It can create gameplay that is exciting and complements the narrative.Moreover, we decided to devise narratives that are designed from the ground up to “live” in several forms of media simultaneously. Each relates a different aspect of the story, or relates it in a different manner. In this new approach, at least some of the story is offered in an interactive medium, so that people can participate in it. We want to use two platforms overlap in such a way that they are integrated at the core: traditional media, which is a poster for the product Beauty Spray; and interactive media, which is the Internet (YouTube, the Twitter account for each character individually, and a blog as a community building). On the macro level, works of digital storytelling can be constructed to exist across some media platforms with parts of each story available on different media platforms and with the whole story interconnected. This is transmedia storytelling, and it includes a new type of narrative hybrid, the alternate reality game. For instance, we plan to create a poster that introduces the product Beauty Spray. Also, create a blog (as a community building), to allows individuals to communicate with each other and share their thoughts, concerns, and opinions. When people visit a community building, particularly one that focuses on a fictional world they especially care about, they look for community-fostering options like comments boards and chat features. Such as discusses the character, related information with the phenomenon (youths suicided because of their boyfriend /girlfriend, they only focus on the love rather than other parts of their life), background stories, opinion, and so on. When audiences log in to the Twitter, and searching those materials about the Beauty Spray, or each character’s Twitter account, those materials can seem as true. At the same time, it can offer a much more enriched version of the story. After audience watching the film on YouTube, they can provide their opinion or other relative information on the community building. It can generate powerful responses on the part of the audience participant.Meanwhile, audiences have many possible roles they can play in an interactive narrative. This project offers the audience an array of choices of role, such as the protagonist (Jane), Alex, or the antagonist (Ivy). In this way, audiences can view the virtual world from more than one possible point of view. At the same time, they can understand that we want to tell them the truth. At the end, when audiences make the last decision, it reveals the phenomenon that some people already forgot that the other parts of their life is also very important, not just lover, or themselves. It is also exaggerating the potential harm to tell our audiences that love is not everything in their life, and people shouldn’t lose themselves because of love. The consequence will give them more impresses within interactive (audience makes the decision), rather than watching the film.

1. Medium and platform

We will use video websites like YouTube and Vimeo to show our project. It can also be spread on social network such as Facebook and Twitter as our presenting platform. What’s more, we will develop our own blog that is not for our project, but the related fictional product in our film – the beauty spray. Our project is not only a short film, but also a story with transmedia so that our audiences can get involve into our story world in different ways.

YouTube is a platform for original videos, and it can deem its videos potentially offensive are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old. By 2013, people were watching six billion hours a month of YouTube videos, double the amount of the previous year. If that amount of video watching were dispersed around the world, it would work out to one hour a month for every person on Earth! This is suitable for making sure our video is viewed only by the audiences older than 18. What’s more, YouTube has many different platforms, such as mobile phone, iPad, and smart TV. In this case, the videos in it can be attached and spread easily and fast. We will also communicate with our audience through the comments.

Adding to the social nature of the experience, our audience can make comments and talk about their own experiences about losing weights or heart-broken relationships; and post them into the comment area, the Facebook and Twitter topic page, which is powered by the storytelling platform.

However, the video platforms do have some limitations. The main function of them is to show the film and let the audiences to choose the endings. Nevertheless, the text materials and interactivity are few. Though we have the comment board, it is not enough. And the choosing endings can only achieve the goal of participation, but not the community building.

That’s why we have our blog for the film and the twitter and poster for the beauty spray.

We have created a homepage (link attached at the end of this article) and a Twitter account for our fictional product- the Beauty Spray.

Twitter is famous and popular social network. The features of these two networks are they have huge age range of users (which is beneficial for us due to our huge age range for the target audience); users can post and interact with message; and they can transpond the message. These can help our video to be spread.

1. Overview of Premise and Purpose

The premise of the project: Recently, many youths suicided because of their boyfriends /girlfriends, because they only focus on the love rather than other parts of their life.

Some people will do whatever their lover asked since they already forgot that the other parts of their life also very important, such as family, friends, learning, work, and so on. It also shows the consequence that those youths will eventually lose themselves. Even one of my friend told me that she had tried to suicide many times last year, just because she had fights with her boyfriend. And I have seen a lot of similar news that youths suicided because of their lover. For instance: Teen girl ‘who encouraged her boyfriend to kill himself’ appears in court trying to get her police statements thrown out of manslaughter trial (cite: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3670166/Court-OKs-trial-girl-texted-boyfriend-urging-suicide.htm), A 19-year-old lady allegedly committed suicide following a quarrel with her lover (cite: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/06/19-yr-old-girl-commits-suicide-fight-boyfriend/). This phenomenon makes me feel sad.

The core idea in a nutshell: We want to reveal this phenomenon, and exaggerating the potential harm to tell our audiences that love is not everything in their life, and people shouldn’t lose themselves because of love.

The fundamental purpose of this project is to teach that everyone’s life is precious; youths shouldn’t lose their everything, just because of their lover asked, or a little tricky in front of their face. What’s more, we want to show the consequence of blind love.

2.Features and intended Audience

Our target audience is females between age 18 to 35. We wish out audience can realize two things. The first one is your girlfriend/boyfriend is not everything in their lives; and it is not necessary to change themselves much or even suicide for the one they love. The second one is that some cosmetic surgical procedures are risky, and people might lose themselves or the things they care about.

This short film if only for people over 18 due to some horrible (violent) factors in it. YouTube and Vimeo are two video websites that target on most people especially youths. Females between these ages are willing to watch makeup tutorials or other related videos through these platforms.

Girls may want to do the cosmetic surgery without any cautious without thinking about the possible risky consequence. Our project targeted on those girls who have the thoughts about doing cosmetic surgery for “love”, or have trouble in their relationships because of their appeals. We hope our video can have a little effect on helping them loving themselves and how they look like originally.

So another point we care about our audience is the self-expression for women. Our theme relates to women’s main topics – beauty and love. Women are also the significant roles in our project. These are also the factors we use to give them the challenge and reward.
