Okay so I just came about something interesting while doing my usual cc shopping.

You know these early access creators right? Tell me why some of them are hopping on the "dm you the link" trend? Like?????

Creators that actually permapaywall makes some sort of sense (people like Leo, CWB, etc). But y'all are EARLY ACCEESS!!!

YOU'RE MAKING THE SHIT FREELY AVAILABLE IN A MONTH ANYWAY!

So what even is the point of dming your content, when you're just gonna make it freely available anyway?🤷🏾‍♀️ #MakeItMakeSense

Please spare me the "I don't want people sharing my content" speech. Once again, let me reiterate:

If someone really wants your stuff, they're gonna get it. One way or another. You doing all this extra work isnt preventing people from sharing, re-uploading, etc. Not everyone around here is broke. Some of us got $5 for y'all. Like me! Whatchu gonna do? Not take my money? I don't think so. Not with the way y'all cry about being homeless on the street in 3-5 business days if someone doesn't sub to your patreon. You need our subs to survive, and that's not our fault!

Truth be told, if I was someone "out to get ya", I'd just wait for your content to go free and take it from there. Just like that! 🤷🏾‍♀️ OR BETTER YET, TAKE ALL THE FREE CONTENT YOU HAVE ALREADY AVAIABLE!!! Y'all got a whole catalogue of freely available content. Nobody has to trip over what you put out yesterday🥴.

Like, you don't think people are not gonna wait? Why buy it now when I can just get it from you for free later? That makes the most financial sense. And if someone was really hellbent on getting your content, they'd get it. Ask Leo.😏

Leosims has been doing the whole "dm you the link" thing since 2017 🥴 And guess what? Even in 2024, people are STILL getting fresh leosims content! So Leo (and others) are just out here doing all this extra work for what? 🤣🤣

What Happened to Paywall CC Needs?

hii everyone! i've been getting a ton of messages asking what happened to my server, Paywall CC Needs. i'd just like to clear some stuff up since a lot of people think they were banned/kicked!! for starters: you weren't kicked or banned- don't worry! you and almost 10k members were removed due to Discord's Copyright Infringement policy.. basically the server was deleted due to Copyright. we have a feeling we know who did it since one of my mods got 2-3 copyright warnings for posting a specific creator. sadly, discord doesn't show who copyright claimed something and it doesn't give you any chance to get the server back once its deleted, so the server and.. all the cc is gone. so, where do we go from here? my mods and I are already brainstorming and working on another server. i will also be making a separate tumblr and possibly a website for the server so that if it is deleted yet again, we'll at least be able to communicate with you all better. I'm so sorry the server was deleted and there isn't a backup set up right away. truthfully, I didn't think the server would be deleted, and with what's going on irl, it wasn't on the top of my list of things to do.

please make sure to keep a look out on this tumblr, and on my instagram- cringetrait! I'll post updates there, and once the server is made I will update you all asap! ;-; thank you all for the support. I'm still so grateful that we got to almost 10k members. this server was my baby and my pride and joy, which I know sounds weird but.. i made it by myself with no help until later on, it truly was something special to me and you all made it special. so thank you so much. new server coming soon!

Why is it not FREE if you said it was FREE? Why would you call it a FREE gift and then show me to a locked patreon post where it isn't FREE? Why is the post still locked if it's "FREE?" Why are all your "FREE" cc posts linked to locked patreon posts if they're supposed to be FREE? FREE to whom? What's FREE?

Oooh that one Sims 4 LADS cc creator is so fast. Sylus’ myth trailer just came out today and they already have his dragon-form outfit uploaded on their patreon page 😭 I’m lowkey suspecting they might work with infold or smth bcs the quality of their LADS cc is always accurate to how it is in the game 😭
