I thought of some cute headcanons while I was playing the game :D

Time: makes himself and Malon into the game, to go live in Heneford-on-Bagley in a cottage home. Big enough space to have a little farm on the lot, ofc buying a horse and naming it Epona.

Twilight: lives in Chestnut Ridge, but makes his sim a werewolf because he lost a bet. The werewolf is literally just his wolf form lmao- gives himself a lot of dogs and pets. He's somehow able to look after all of them.

Warriors: bro takes 10+ hours making himself in the sims, only to not even play that much of the other parts of the game. But when he does, that man is flirting with everyone shamelessly. Keeps moving because he doesn't know where to put his sim. BECOMES A SIMFLUENCER.

Wind: has no idea what he's doing, doesn't really bother with making a sim. He lives in Sulani, it's the closest that reminds him of home. With the ocean and little islands, makes his grandmother and younger sister. His grandmother almost died in the game and he BEGGED one of the guys to make her immortal.

Wild: removing the ladder to kill your sim? Nah, lock a sim with a gluttony trait in a room filled with food paintings with windows showing fridges they can't access. He just put his sims in Willow Creek, has probably burned down the home multiple times.

Legend: also lives in Sulani he just wants to be closer with Marin. Man gets rich first and the fastest out of all the Links, has several homes and knows a lot of the cheats. Once deleted Warriors' save file after bickering one day. It was worth it. But is invested in the Sims 4 lore.

Four: has multiple mods, but he's really invested into the Sims 4 lore as well. Like what the hell happened to Bella Goth and her family?STRANGERVILLE AS A WHOLE. He doesn't know who did it, but someone edited his sim to be a child so that the height would be 'accurate.' Created 4 sims of the different colours, lives in Glimmerbrook. Has his sim get an online business, a lot of woodwork items being sold and whatever else you can make in the sims.

Hyrule: worst luck with cooking, actually plays the game normally. Lost count of how many times his home has almost burnt down. Makes his sim into a wizard, quickly becoming a master at magic. He thought about living in Oasis Springs but went with Brindleton Bay.

Sky: WANTS TO PLAY IT CONSTANTLY WITH HIS ZELDA. Made each other as accurately as possible, Sky was so worried about messing Zelda up when he was making her. He also added in Fi but it comes out a bit awkward looking. There isn't a sims world that reminds him of home, but decided to put his sims in Tartosa. Makes a lot of wood objects to sell while Zelda becomes a musician in the game.

More modded Sims 4 shenanigans!

This time, I added another new household, dubbed the 'Chaos House' for how much shit they're probably gonna start in their neighborhood. Mario, Steve from Minecraft, the Onceler, and my OC Verrin have arrive, and things will never be the same.

The lead singer of BOTB’s Season 4 projected underdogs, Arlo Beck of Penny Arcade, declined further comment in regards to the threatening of a member of the media when questioned about former band mate and fellow competitor, Seven Lawless of Soft Violence.

Introducing Arlo Beck, lead singer of Penny Arcade, a pop punk band of humble origins known most for their musically delivered political commentary and their revenge anthems (it is of particular note that such anthems were not common in the Lawless Era, with the band leaning far more heavily into charged love songs. Which could mean nothing.)

According to an insider source, beyond singing, Beck is quite capable with the ocarina.

Beck is known to juggle at any and every opportunity, regardless of who may or may not be watching. (He is apparently rather talented as well.)

Beck is known for accessorizing with heart motifs, noted by a previous local publication to be a nod to fellow bandmate Rowan Hart.

Beck often carries a bottle of quick dry black polish for ‘manicure emergencies’. He is known to have addressed such emergencies while on stage after chipping a nail during a performance.

Beck is often cited as the source for Penny Arcade’s ‘gimmick’ of collecting loose change in collection bins during a dedicated song at every performance. The change is then matched and donated to queer and at risk youth. Beck remains firm that every member of Penny Arcade, past and present, is equally responsible.

Arlo is wearing a WWOD? bracelet in the pic! The band got together to make bracelets with Orion’s most recent catchphrase while waiting for filming to start. Arlo made his particularly fruity. He also made a keychain version for Orion.

The time on Arlo’s phone is a nod to MCx7. Seven is, well, 7. And Arlo is 1 & 2 because his initials are the first and second letters of the alphabet. Hence, 7:12.

Arlo’s initial tattoo utilizes the S in SD as an infinity symbol. He acknowledges it is cringy. And poetically tragic.

Not shown is his tongue piercing, which Orion chewed him out for getting because his tongue was swollen and his speech slurred for nearly two weeks!

As stated above, he likes to wear motifs of his band members! Because he is a doofus! Most common because it’s his daily accessories is a heart motif for Rowan, but he also has jellyfish pendants and vampire bite chokers for Iris and different color bee pins for Devyn depending on their hair color! Jazzy is represented in the case he carries his juggling equipment in, which he takes literally everywhere after she bought him one for his birthday years ago. He is currently racking his brain for what to do for August!

43 of the 57 missed calls on his phone were from Orion. He knows because Orion’s ringtone is I Don’t Dance from High School Musical 2.

He is heavily addicted to nicotine (to Orion’s chagrin) and became a functioning (for now) alcoholic after The Fight™️. Prior, he imbibed during social functions but never alone and never when he had plans. Up until the audition, he never partook in other substances but caved into peer pressure. Despite his snark and notorius RBF, he is a chronic people pleaser.

The eyebrow slit is a scar from slicing his eyebrow open in Lucy’s diner after crashing head first into the dish station and shattering a plate. With his face. The scar is almost entirely faded but he can no longer grow hair there. He’s actually really insecure about it and has considered getting the spot microbladed.

2. What are you obsessed with right now?

Oh, quite a few things. An example: trying to build the "Ocarina of Time" dungeons in Sims 4. I have no idea how to even attempt to build Lord Jabu-Jabu, but we'll see...

6. Describe your dream home.

Something small and modern. It would need a garden in the back, though, and also a winter garden. Skylights and muntin windows would be nice as well. But honestly, the most important thing would be a modern heating system plus robust pipework.

10. Do you have a secret side blog?

No, haha. I've tried running all sorts of side blogs, but now I only use this one here.

12. What's one of your fantasies?

I guess a lot of my fantasies are about groundbreaking inventions/technology. I'm already extremely fascinated by Perseverance's (NASA's newest Mars rover) pictures, and just thinking about how planets outside our solar system or even our galaxy might look like makes me giddy. And I would absolutely love if we were able to find alien life in my lifetime.

gaming anon again. here's how i think ben would react to some games (disclaimer. he would be forced to play some)

animal crossing: "so boring. why do they talk like that? do they ever shut up? can i leave? can i make everyone leave and have the island for myself?" would hate tom nook with passion probably

mario: he would find it absurd at first but somehow get engaged. if someone points it out he would deny it of course

stardew valley: like animal crossing. would quit playing the first 5 seconds

the sims 4: "so.... i need to constantly tell my character what they need to do? are they stupid or something?" would probably ragequit or accidentally make his sim die over something dumb. i think he would try to put a bunch of them on a pool and remove the stairs, finding the situation funny but only the 1st time. after that he wouldn't touch the game ever again

any rpg game: would skip cutscenes and dialogue. his way of playing is spamming attacks over and over again just to be done with the game already

pokemon: wouldn't care about the league or pokedex. he only wants to catch the coolest pokemon and close the game forever. if his rival is mean to him he would continue the storyline only to beat them in every battle

zelda: ok i think he would find himself enjoying the games. any of them. at first he wouldn't care but as he gets further in the story, he gets more interested. his favorites would be twilight princess or ocarina of time.

minecraft: "why is everything made of squares? it doesn't make sense.." would enjoy killing every mob he sees.

He does not have the attention span for animal crossing. As an AC player, it does get a bit boring after a while, especially when it comes to AC New Horizons, and the fact that in the newer games the animals are so nice and don't insult people like they used to that would piss him the fuck off so much. Same with Stardew Valley. I won't lie, I struggled to get into it and find it boring, and I definitely know he would. That shit would get turned off after the first five minutes.

I think he'd be alright with Mario but as the difficulties get harder, the more he'd end up rage quitting because at the end of the day, he is an old man. Unless it was Mario Kart... Fuuuuuuuuuck, he'd be so competitive to the point where it's just not worth playing with him anymore. I do see him hating Mario as a character JUST BECAUSE he can't play anything other than Mario Kart.

As for The Sims 4, I can't lie, reading the fact that this is Sims 4 in specific has me triggered bc it's sooooo shit compared to the other 3, EA fumbled BIG TIME with that one. But regardless, I genuinely see Hughie giving him Sims 2 to play because it's a game he personally likes because of how detailed it is. So, he sits him down in front of the PC and boots it up. He shows him how to use Create A Sim and Ben eventually creates himself after spending AGES going through outfits, he then lies about his personality traits, gets annoyed at the Turn On and Turn Off options and that's it. Once he's chosen a house and the game starts, he thinks it's pointless, simply doesn't get it. And once Hughie tells him he can torture his sim and kill him, he actively goes out of his way to make that sim suffer and the same goes for any other sim that dares to cross his lot.

But yeahhhh RPG would bore him in the end. It's no fun if all you have to do is spam one button - and that is why he HATES nintendo games, ESPECIALLY Luigi's Mansion and Peach's new game. That's it, he's never playing anything like that again.

Honestly, I've never played a Zelda game in my life, so I have no real opinions of how he'd view it, so I'll take your word for it because it would be nice to see him enjoy SOMETHING. And with Pokemon, I see where you're going with that one. Losing would bug him like hell, even when he's no longer playing the game anymore. He'd put down the DS or Switch and will be STILL triggered.

I think with Minecraft, he would definitely kill mobs for the fun of it, he would actively seek them out, but then would lose it when he dies because he's lost his stuff. He's that type of person that doesn't give a shit about a map or keeping a note of his current coordinates. But I think the building wouldn't interest him as much and the combinations for crafting would confuse him because he'd not remember then and start getting annoyed.
