Weird

“Functional”. That’s the theme of our little home. (Almost) everything has a purpose. And because we love Mother Earth, we try our best to minimize waste by repurposing things as much as we can. We don’t buy stuff we don’t need. Unless sobrang ganda or sobrang love namin yung seller or sobrang noble nung cause or sobrang napilit tapos ayaw na lang namin makipag-argue. Haha. 😁 But we really think not just twice but many times before we spend our hard-earned money on anything. And I’m really grateful to the Lord for giving me a “wais” mister na super generous din. 😊 We have agreed to live a simple life, a life of “enough”. Thus, we declutter on a regular basis. We evaluate the things that we currently have and decide whether we still need them or it’s best to let them go. I tell you it’s a liberating exercise. Try niyo rin. 😊 You don’t just free your house from clutter, you also free your mind from the stress of trying to find more space for your stuff.

And so, the last four photos are items we have in excess. Dahil nga hindi kami nagtatapon basta-basta, we accumulate stuff over time (also why we need to declutter regularly). I recently became a member of a “free” market group where people share items for free. But before I post there, share ko na lang muna rito. Baka we have friends who are in need of these items (envelopes, sticker paper, photo paper, glass jars, plastic containers), let us know by sending a message. We’ll wait until Friday, Feb 5 (grabe, Feb na!!!). 😊
