Thank you for the ask! Sorry it took me so long to answer, I had family in town and it was exhausting. I'm going to pick Elizabeth and Nathanael since they don't get a lot of screen time but are one of my favorite couples.

They were an arranged marriage. Nathanael knew about it but Elizabeth did not. They fell in love and it wasn't until after he proposed that he told her the truth. She was mad at first but forgave him in the end.

The biggest disagreement/fight they ever had was about how many kids they'd have. Nathanael wanted a big family and Elizabeth only wanted as few as needed to have an heir. It's partly why there's a large age gap between Eleanor and Wyatt. Elizabeth loves Wyatt but it took a lot of convincing for her to agree to another child.

They have a "no secrets" relationship. There is nothing that they don't tell each other.

Their marriage caused quite a stir when it was announced to the public. Nathanael was the first foreign royal to marry the heir since Queen Amelia married King Edaric in 1785. He was also the first male consort to come from a foreign royal family.

They have a rule that they don't go to bed angry and if they always say "I love you" to one another before they go to bed. Even when they are apart, they call or facetime right before bed.

The McCormick men have a long standing tradition of getting their family crest tattooed on their back.

Here’s the royal family of each of my lil countries celebrating their main winter holiday. Multiple holidays are celebrated in each country but these are the ones currently celebrated by the royal family. If you want to learn more about the holiday check out below the cut.

Irenda: The Rutherfords travels to Irenda every year to celebrate Winterfest with the McCormicks.

Axoiria: Their family color is red so it felt natural to have Christmas be their main holiday.

Wain: I couldn’t make a post about winter holidays without including my own winter holiday.

Grateron: Founders Day celebrates the day Grateron was founded. The royal family usually celebrates by hosting a historically themed ball.

Brido: the Snow Fall Ball was originally started as a joke to prove that the Brido Royal Family isn’t in fact allergic to wearing the color white. After seeing the esthetics of the event, the royal family decided to make it an annual event.

Druzar: King Adastead Wellington hosted a ball to find a wife. The ball is hosted annually and has become known as a time for royals and nobles to meet potential spouses. I do have an Adastead Ball coming up in my story that will be a collab event. If you’re interested in sending sims you can sign up here.

Slavell: In Slavell, the winter solstice is the main celebration. It’s a week long celebration leading up to a ball hosted on the solstice.

Trenton: Trenton values the New Year and the symbolism of starting anew. In recent years, the Trenton Royal Family has spent the New Year at their château wearing matching pajamas. This year Payton picked the pjs because she’s obsessed with bun buns.

Trenton Palace releases portraits taken at the grand opening of the Hall of Monarchs. For the first time in recorded history, all eight monarchs and their heirs assembled in the same location. The Hall and event was planned by HM Queen Elizabeth as a way to help unify the countries of Trentallia*.
