Dawntrail - summer vacation date expac

The Dating Sim visual novel reason is why MSQ take so long.  I was doing Stealing time with Thancred route by default. But when that one scene happened. I think I went unhinged and ended up with this plaguing my brain the whole day.

Thank you Yoshi-p and devs for Catboys routes. It was out of context but it was sweet and ridiculously fun that I drag MSQ over a few days for this.

Spoilery date routes are spoilery after the boys of summer have gone to lvl 100.

This only applies to Hylnyan since this is what I saw.

Wuk Lamat – Young royal, battle sprout, new expac new kouhai

By default the kouhai route is Wuk Lamat. You're her senpai and she's growing into her role. You two hang out the most. Her onii-chan trust you to keep her safe and guide her well.  You get to camp and go on roadtrips together. Your chief kouhai Alisaie is even friends with her and not overly jealous about you having to mentor yet another kouhai.

I don't know who is this person he speaks of. But I had thought he might had lost someone else in Black Rose timeline (whoever it is isn't Wol) or on the First. It would be disappointing if he be locked in the past himself if that person was that Wol who he never met (Only the ARR WoL and ShB onwards WoL)

Upcoming Games from Me

been a bit since i touched upon the progress of the games ive been working on proper, so gonna do a lil write-up to give a refresher and hopefully inspired me to get back to regular game dev soon

this is a long write-up, so ive hidden everything under a read more for anyone that's genuinely curious to learn more about the three games ahead

Hallowed Discharge

this one is still slated to be the kinky and text-focused game made within the Quest engine. not entirely text though, as i utilize the map-making system within it so the player has a better idea of where they're going

short story summary like ive said befores is that you play as Reverend Artemis, a furry priest basically, and your goal is peacefully exorcising spirits from a long-abandoned mall

besides the protagonist Reverend Artemis, every other character is ghosts of every major or minor roles. it would be far too much work for me to detail every single one right now, especially cause there's still a big chunk ahead not yet written for!

there's a basic energy system in place tied to one's actions in the game, alongside a faith system and weight system. weight system affects not only the Reverend physically but also which tasks are feasible, how interactions pan out, and can lead to early game overs depending on the situation (ie: you hit the maximum in-game limit and cant feasible move out of somewhere)

the game's setting is the Delícias do Vale, an abandoned mall near the outskirts of the town of Sweet-Kiss Oasis in the country of Centauri. basically you'll explore the different floors of the mall, both parking lots, and a small bit of roads surrounding the mall

development progress: MOST of the map is set up in terms of foundation and what connects to much. there's still areas to block off / require alternate routes or tools to access based on the story and player's inventory. the main objectives are like 20% done currently, with the other 80% basically requiring me to handle the remaining exorcism tasks

possible release: still hoping for later this year at the earliest. the date has changed a lot due to me having to take breaks and hitting bouts of burnout. health always comes first, so if i need to take this slow for the rest of the process i will

Enchanted Bliss

my first attempt proper at making a visual novel, within the Renpy engine. basically a mixture between a story about furry wizards investigate a city-wide disaster and friendship and / or romance possibly budding between the protagonist and one of the supporting characters

characters involved include the protagonist Dylan Rhodes, the supporting wizards you can team up with (Brava Denver, Maple Finley, Marcos Wylder, Price Flynn, Remy Taffy and Serena Journey) and the lead supervisor for the team Carmichael Kentz

unlike other romance-adjacent dating sim type deals, this VN is made to ONLY support choosing one of the six supporting wizards to team up with during a single player. once you've made the choice, you CANNOT turn back unless you load a save back to the beginning of the game before making the choice. this was done to better flesh out the relationships between player and choice as well as make the dialogue and mini stories involved with each choice have way more impact and care put into em

main setting will be set around the demolished city of Filia Lunae in the country of Centauri. depending on who you team up with, you'll get a chance to either explore a facility within the city, the sewer system under it, or the outskirts where a river runs along the north edge of the city

development progress: all the main backgrounds are drawn, including the main screen. i'll still have to draw epilogue screens eventually and any bonus area screens if it seems needed. ive made at least 10 music loops for the soundtrack, tho i still need to make a LOT more before i start applying them to portions of the game while moving the rest to the official OST later on. only the introduction of the game is written, right before the player makes the choice of who they will team up with. none of the character assets / emotions are drawn yet but i'll get to it. only things ill have others handle is public domain sounds with credits given in the game of course. music, art, writing, and coding will fully be done by myself

possible release: realistically Sometime 2024 at the earliest, i cant possible be less vague than that because i'm trying to be realistic as possible with how much work is still ahead on this.

Nigh Maintenance

my first proper RPG maker game, following many scrapped less-focused attempts over the years. it's only in its early planning stages right now, with most of it being in the mind and not transferred to a proper document in my folders yet

will involve the main cast of my characters Waever Nuelle, Glory Fantasy, Mason, and Weston Fredericks. friend group of furry investigators of sorts, focusing on strange, paranormal, supernatural, and even extraterrestrial scoops and cases. i plan to include one supporting character past that, a currently-unnamed trucker that made her soft debut in my short story AFTERGLOW back in June 2020. will draw out her design and name in the future

basic story i got going currently is barebones but something along the lines of the main cast traveling with the trucker either through a desert focused setting or a cold focused setting. perhaps a mountainous one if im feeling so bold..? we'll see, only today as of writing am i finally figuring out a very rough story concept that excites me for once

will not feature combat, at least in the normal sense. i might do a gag where you 'fight' a door to break it open or something like that. generally past that i'll have puzzles that tie in inventory and stats of the party members, provided it doesnt get too ambitious. also lots of text and dialogue, much like the rest of my works lol

possible release: who knows, wouldnt be surprised if the 'earliest' i can say is 2025 but even then remember that as of writing i havent even BEGUN to write down plans and ideas in a document yet. all in the mind until i feel ready to start that stage of work

Lady Inez Videlle (purple): On Felix’s other side is a tall red-headed woman. She looks as surly as him although her poise is much more regal. [Margery] learns that this woman is Lady Inez Videlle and her name carries significant weight within Faerghus’s court, mostly of the negative variety. She was born to some social standing but rebukes the original name and family she came from. None of the rumors surrounding the split are consistent--best [Margery] can tell, some sort of falling out happened between the former lady of House Craven and a much younger Lady Inez. She is an enigma connected to Houses Fraldarius and Gautier.

Archmage Gerta Grunweld (blue): Everyone has been talking about the new Archmage. She is a former mercenary and her service to her old band was severed when her former captain chose to ally with the Empire and [Gerta] chose to fight on behalf of the former kingdom. For [Gerta’s] loyalty, Archduke Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd appointed her to the position of Archmage. The technique she possesses is a combination of two schools of thought stemming from her split heritage--half her blood is of Faerghus and the other belongs to Duscur. With a mix of two schools of training, there’s a great opportunity [for Margery to acquire] this shared knowledge, that is, if the Archmage is willing.

Lord Tico Astrada (green): [Uzadri’s] former lieutenant is a woman as big as she is bold and has a penchant of calling those under her employ “little sister.” Tico Astrada is a powerful warrior and a close friend to all those that served under her during her mercenary years. She’s been instrumental in cleaning up the countryside of Adrestia. An honest soul and a seasoned combat veteran, she spends her retirement in the company of a one Lady Dorothea Arnault with the two of them often trading off when the call for diplomats reaches the halls of Adrestia’s slowly recovering court.

Filiagarde Hessner (red): Filia knows her worth and the worth of one hundred-fifty women more vicious than half the mercenary bands that operated on the side of the Empire. Her stone resolve holds strong when negotiating and her will cannot be moved. It is easy to see the terrifying visage of the Vermilion Rose that conquered a third of Faerghus once. In the face of banishment, she has not changed and she has long since pushed aside the regret. Her life is hers and her blood will belong to the Crown if she ever sets foot on Fodlan again. Her people are better for having her--Fodlan will be better for having known her.

High Queen Uzadri Felgrave (white): Fodlan is as fresh as newly made clay. Blood and effort fill the cracks, shaping it as the years stretch on. [Uzadri’s] gaze traces the remnants of a once thriving town beneath her balcony. In theory, it should have been easy to put everything back together again. In truth, more problems pile upon the table and the cries of the broken are drowned out by the incessant barking of the nobility. Leicester fares the best having kept the war outside her bountiful borders. Faerghus celebrates but mourns in the same. Adrestia lies in shambles and fears of a second insurrection flows through the halls. It’s a fine mess to inherit. She sighs and steps back into her room to finish preparing.

It's been a while since I posted something about "The Sims Medieval". Heck, I wasn't even playing for months!

Still, I want you to meet some newcomers. Of the Canopian kind, that's it.

Don't forget, that the names are in Russian. And, I suppose, you'll need "Pirates and Nobles". Also, I was inspired by a certain fighting game.

Let's start with Sienna, the bard. She's a total cutie.

Though life wasn't kind to her. Sienna comes from a long line of musicians. Most of her family perished in a whale-involving accident. Determined to continue her family's legacy, Sienna became a bard and part-time investigator. She works hard to find out what the heck is wrong with the Canopian flesh-eating whales.

You can call her The Singing Detective.

But now we have a girl. Her name is Fil (or, rather, Filia), and she's a Peteran Priest.

Fil might be a newcomer in the city. She doesn't really know. In fact, she doesn't seem to have memories at all.

Sienna's attempt at Investigating brought her close to a strange, but friendly girl with a severe case of amnesia. They became fast friends. Fil didn't seem to have a place to live, so Sienna used some of her connections to find her new friend a place to stay. That's how Fil ended up in the Monastery.

First things first, tell us a little about yourself.

I'm 28 (unfortunately), live in the US, and a nb bisexual disaster. I love to write whether it's my own original stuff or fanfic, and when I'm not doing that I'm usually playing Sims or catching up on shows.

How long have you been writing for?

Oh wow, my mom got me an old school writing program when I was nine, so like 19 years? yikes.

What inspired you to start writing for The Magicians?

Julia Wicker and Penny23 calling her his soul mate, tbh.

Who is/are your favourite character(s) to write? What it is about them that makes them your favourite?

Julia and Penny, although Quentin is fun just because I understand his depression/anxiety. I think I just love Penny's addiction to cynicism and sarcasm that hides his softie heart lol. And Jules I could talk about for dayss

Do you have a preference for a particular season/point in time to write about?

Hm, well to no one's surprise, Julia's goddess arc to timeline 23 and onward.

Are you working on anything right now? Care to give us an idea about it?

I'm working on the third chapter of my timeline23 wickodi dabbles, but mainly focusing on my 39graves timeline fic

How long is your “to do list��?

ugh, well I still have to finish other fandoms stuff, so fairly long?

What is your favourite fic that you’ve written for The Magicians? Why?

Probably the dabbles, just because I think I write better in Penny's voice than others

Many writers have a fic that they are passionate about that doesn’t get the reception from the fandom that they hoped for. Do you have a fic you would like more people to read and appreciate?

Maybe the first one I wrote that was post finale, or the Filia one. Most of my Shadowhunters and TVD stuff went over well.

What is your writing process like? Do you have any traditions or superstitions that you like to stick to when you’re writing?

I usually start out scripting dialogue to get the mood for the scene and then add detail from there.

Do you write while the seasons are airing or do you prefer to wait for hiatus? How does the ongoing development of the canon influence and inspire your writing process?

Generally, it doesn't at all. I'll write Canon concurrent fics during season or off season, or entirely different au’s

What has been the most challenging fic for you to write?

Probably the Filia one. It was hard for me to grasp her voice, and I'm not sure I did. it was definitely an experiment

Are there any themes or tropes that you particularly like to explore in your writing?

Well, with other fantasy fandoms I generally like “human” Au's, or role reversal. I generally just cover slow burn romance.

Are there any writers that inspire your work? Fanfiction or otherwise?

Too many to list! For the Magicians fandom though, Rays, Ohmarqueliot, Under-the-shady-tree… I know I'm forgetting some

What are you currently reading? Fanfiction or otherwise?

I'm trying to get through Children of Blood and Bone, although I might unwillingly read Queen of Air and Darkness

What is the most valuable piece of writing advice you’ve ever been given?

Don't rely on pronouns and physically draw a scene based on the setting you've described… it's hard to follow though

Imagine - Niall Horan

Oi, gente! Tudo bem com vocês? Eu sei que esse imagine não tem nada a ver com Halloween (mais uma vez). Espero que gostem! Beijos ❤️

- E esse vestido de camponesa? – Bruna pergunta sorrindo.  

- Não é vestido de camponesa... – Eu murmuro. – Vamos ter um jantar aqui em casa, inclusive foi por isso que chamei você, mas minha mãe quer eu esteja bem vestida e está torcendo para que nada dê errado.  

- Nada o quê? – Ela senta na minha cama e analisa o vestido que na verdade era uma saia plissada e uma blusinha que combinava com o modelo da peça de baixo.  

- O casamento arranjado que eles combinaram com um dos sócios da empresa.  

- Sério? E eles te contaram com essa naturalidade que você está me contando agora?  

- Ah, não! Eles não sabem que eu sei... – Eu digo franzindo a testa pela frase péssima. – Algumas semanas atrás, eu ouvi uma conversa sobre esse jantar e que seria uma ótima oportunidade de sermos apresentado.  

- Nossa, amiga, eu sempre achei que essa coisa arranjada era coisa do passado. – Ela deita de barriga para cima na minha cama. – Eu acho que estaria surtando no seu lugar.  

- Eu surtei, sim! Mas somente por dois dias. Depois em dei conta de como isso era furada... e de que, posso transformar esse jantar em um inferno pessoal para o jovem Horan....  

- Você é o inferno em forma de ser humano. - Bruna diz rindo e levanta caminhando em direção do meu armário, escolhendo um dos meus vestidos para usar.  

- Acho que aquele meu vestido preto de alcinha combinaria perfeitamente com você... - Eu digo apontando para peça.  

- Mas ele não é meio vulgar para a festa?  

- Hm, essa é a ideia. Já que eu não posso, você pode. - Eu digo dando uma piscadinha para ela.  

- Eu acabei de falar, mas eu repito, você é o inferno! - Ela diz rindo. - Será que o Horanzinho vai gostar de se queimar?  

- Isso a gente só vai descobrir mais tarde... Enquanto você se troca, eu vou descendo e bancando a boa filha para meus pais. Sério, no fundo do meu coração, esse segredo que eles guardaram de mim, dói muito mais do que ter um casamento arranjado por eles. - Eu digo chateada.  

- Eu sinto muito, amiga! Talvez eles estejam imaginando que isso é o melhor que eles possam fazer. - Bruna diz e vem me abraçar. - Vai dar tudo certo, tenho certeza.  

- Só não me diz que ele vai ser o amor da minha vida. - Eu digo rindo.  

- Você conhece ele? - Ela pergunta sorrindo.  

- Na verdade, não...  

- Então, só coisas boas nos aguardam nesse jantar. - Ela mexe as sobrancelhas de forma engraçada e eu saio do quarto balançando a cabeça negativamente.  

Desço as escadas até estar na sala de jantar, onde a mesa estava posta com louças e talheres chiques e eu sinto meu estomago revirar pela ansiedade. Assim como Bruna, eu sempre acreditei que casamento arranjado era uma coisa que não existia mais, até saber que uma futura proposta seria feita para mim.  

Acabo me jogando no sofá e espero Bruna ficar pronta, o que meia hora de falação sobre como eu deixo minha amiga se vestir e que se ela queria chamar a atenção deveria pendurar uma melancia no pescoço.    

Mas tudo vira um completo silêncio quando a campainha toca; minha mãe ajeita o vestido e o coque antes de abrir a porta e uma família tão bem arrumada quanto a nossa aguarda ser convidada a entrar.  

- Entrem e sejam bem-vindos! - Minha mão acena em direção a sala. - Essa é a minha filia (S/N). Querida, venha conhecer os amigos da nossa família.  

Eu sorrio constrangida e vou até meus pais e a família completamente desconhecida para mim. Depois que os "rapazes" se serviram de uísque e socializaram, fomos para a sala de jantar, e Horan sentou bem na frente.  

Seria idiotices dizer que ele não era bonito, mas eu tinha que manter a pose e ser a filha perfeita pelas duas próximas horas.  

- Eu gostaria de fazer as honras e anunciar o noivado entre os primogênitos das famílias aqui presentes. - Bruna, sentada ao meu lado, engasga com a bebida e eu me levanto em um sobressalto, pronta para bater boca, quando meu pai franze a testa e me olha com o olhar de repreensão que eu temia desde que tinha cinco anos.  

O jantar termina em silêncio absoluto e eu me escondo no quarto quando Bruna e a família Horan foram embora. Em menos de dois meses eu estaria casada com um cara que nem conhecia.  

- (S/A), tem uma visita para você! - Minha grita e eu, sem muita vontade caminho até o andar de baixo dando de cara com Niall, meu noivo.  

- Vamos dar uma volta? Acho que precisamos nos conhecer... - Ele pergunta com as mãos enterradas nos bolsos da calça e se embala para frente e para trás.  

- Claro. Só um minuto. - Subo até o quarto buscando um chinelinho, meu celular e dinheiro.  

Caminhamos lado a lado até a sorveteria fofa que ficava no bairro em que eu morava.  

- Sabe, eu nunca me imaginei nessa situação. - Niall diz revirando seu sorvete depois que nós dois já estávamos sentados

. - Eu sempre achei que encontraria uma mulher que eu me apaixonaria e que eu teria que conquista-la todos os dias até que ela me aceitasse da forma que eu sou. Mas o casamento veio e todos os meus planos de futuro foram ralo abaixo. Até minhas viagens para fora do país começaram a ser barradas.  

- Sinto muito, Niall. - Eu digo e largo a colherzinha do sorvete sobre a mesa. - Eu não posso dizer que estou feliz e realizada com esse casamento, mas no instante que me levantei daquela mesa e recebi a repreensão do meu pai apenas com o olhar, soube que de nada adiantaria me opor a decisão que eles tomaram por mim.  

- Estamos perdidos. - Ele murmura sorrindo.  

- E juntos nessa confusão. - Eu digo e ele segura minha mão. - Sabe, na pior das hipóteses, podemos começar a viajar juntos e quando chegarmos ao destino, nos separamos e cada um aproveita da forma que quiser. Eu até deixo você ficar com algumas mulheres.  

- Que noiva mais liberal... Mas eu sou bem ciumento, então, eu não faço nada, nem você.
