Cafe 'lif
I have some kind of obsession with coffee shops (literal coffee shops, not the ones in Netherlands, haha). I love coffee, even if I can drink decaf only, and good coffee houses can make this experience even better.
So... One day Insta (again, lol) showed me a fabulous place called Cafe 'lista. A-frame-ish coffeehouse placed in (I guess) rice fields immediately got my heart, and it was the only build I could think of for several months. First try was... let's say, severely unlucky: game and graphic card were going nuts from all the grass placement, and I had to put this project aside for some time until I could figure out how to even place everything. In January I was finally able to finish this place, and I'm really proud of myself with it :3
Warning: since there's still a lot of grass, this place might not be suitable for weaker computers, so use it with caution.
50x50 lot, preferably one in Mt.Komorebi, lighting is gorgeous there, hehe
Was saved as residential just in case but it's fully suitable for cafe type of lot
Key points are playtested with bb.moveobjects on (keep in mind that if something is wrong, sims won't go anywhere even with this code being turned on... trust me *side eyes at all espresso bars*)
CC is partly included, partly were just mentioned in CC-list
Decosims were not saved with the lot.
Required DLC:
You will also need Get Together EP for this to work as cafe, but! If you don't have this pack, then just replace espresso bar with counters and place coffee maschine and coffee grinder (I used awesome objects from Macaron set by Syboulette) on required places.
Decosims are by @starrysimsie @lazysimmies @xldkx-cc and others. Thank syou so much for your frozen sims :3

Telkomsel International Package Card Art Concept Year: 2020 Project type: Art concept Client: Telkomsel
I also made a design for the packaging cover of the roaming package SIM Card. The team and I made several alternatives with different visual styles, and I'm in charge of the style using illustration as a key visual. The card provides many offerings that could be used when customers travel overseas.

To make it look friendly and fun, I presented various icons or landmarks from big countries, like the Liberty Statue, the windmill of the Netherlands, and the Kaaba as an icon for the Hajj activity. It also represents how far Telkomsel's coverage is. The illustration style is a flat-vector design with a red and gray color scheme, and the layout was inspired by Telkomsel's visual grid system - the geometric partition.

Day 73 Farewell EU and your 90 day visa rules, I'm/we're off on a bucket list adventure to Morocco
Rose and I spent the morning playing tetris with our luggage, particularly as we're flying Ryan Air from Santander to Marrakesh. We duck out to grab some cash and Rose wanted to look at a different Pull & Bear shop. One of the great things about Europe has been the late checkouts, 12 noon at Hotel Chiqui.
I made a reservation at BNT Street Food for lunch, a place on the water I'd seen the first night I walked (no google, no Fork App, just intuition!). First stop the seals and lone penguin at Parque Marino de la Magdalena. This is a free park with ocean on either side and a lovely green space for hanging out.
Lunch did not disappoint. The view out to the beach/ocean, the wine and the burgers, yum. And Rose offered to buy me a cocktail, I opted for the local red instead, so smooth and good with or without the food, I had two!
Our suitcases were both 2kgs over. It worked out ok, we were allowed to remove stuff and jump the queue to bring them back as he'd ticketed us. And no-one really checked our excess carry on!
I was excited to arrive in Marrakesh and it wasn't horrid through passport control. I even practiced my very poor French with the Officer. Sadly the perfume Rose has been desperate to buy in Australia, and we found at Duty Free here, was only available in the departures area, not the arrivals area, despite me pre-ordering. Fingers crossed the pre-order at Tangier Airport on our way out will be available.
We pre-arranged transport with the Riad, and were expecting to see a sign with "Bohemian Jungle" on it and Hassan waiting. But nothing. Luckily the free airport wifi worked outside the terminal, as I left the purchase of a sim card as the Riad owner, the usually very responsive Anna from the Netherlands, said Hassan would help us with all of that. I rang Anna several times, and the Riad, and no answer. I wondered at what point I just get a taxi knowing that we still needed to walk at the end. After about 20 minutes someone else showed up with the scatchings of "Bohemian Jungle" on the back of his sign and said "I'm not Hassan, and handed me his phone to speak to Hassan to confirm we should get in the car!" It was a very exciting ride, even more exciting than any Asian country I've been to. Big cars, down narrow two way alleyways, motor cycles, cyclists, pedestrians, chaos. We entered one medina, passed the Kings Palace, and exited that one and in and out of a couple more. Rose said "I thought we were going to the jungle". My reply "it is a jungle of sorts"! We reach our destination, and I said to Rose, we'll be met and need to walk the rest of the way. The driver and Hassan seemed to be having several heated conversations. I think it was about how far he needed to drive us in. Thankfully Hassan was there when we stopped and we walked about 300 metres around several corners and we arrived. It is magnificent. Hassan served us traditional mint tea and biscuits, gave us a map and explained the important sites, a book with pictures of how to get out of the Riad and back again, and an old phone to ring if we get lost. He's already suggested to Rose that they share shisha, having given up alcohol. I heard them talking and Rose said something like "my mum won't let me"! I sang out and said "I don't mind it's up to you"! We asked for some ice so we could make a start on the second 1 litre bottle of gin! And I asked if there was fresh milk I could have for my coffee in the morning, already googling that fresh milk is available in Marrakesh, but best bought early before the sun affects it!!

Week 1: Logistics and Impromptu Travel
I know what you’re thinking. Ooh a blog post with “logistics” in the title… That’s bound to be intriguing. Or I suppose maybe if you’re more like me, this is the part of travel that insults your intelligence, highlights your cluelessness, and is better left forgotten. Nevertheless, I am including it in this post to announce that I, Sarah Bargfrede, figured out my SIM Card, my WiFi, my apartment move-in, and even the bus systems, all with only minor frustrations and zero casualties.
In all seriousness though, if you’re considering traveling abroad and have the same worries about getting your life up and running in a different country, I can confidently say that the UROP program at RWTH Aachen has your back the entire way. Upon arriving in Aachen, you are met by a ‘Buddy’ (aka a local RWTH student volunteer) who picks you up from the train station and helps you to your apartment. My Buddy, Bora, gave me a helpful tour around the city from the student perspective, introduced me to the buses, and assisted me in communicating with the mildly intimidating Hausmeister (building manager) when moving in. We also picked up groceries, forgotten bedding things, and other unexciting but necessary items to get me settled here in Aachen.
Orientation and other meetups with UROP mentors also helped smooth the transition, answer any questions that arose, and generally ensure that even a clueless traveler like myself could fully settle in here within a matter of days.
During the first week, students from the program were meeting up almost every night which was an amazing way to start getting to know people and make the city feel a little more familiar and approachable. So far, I’ve already been on a hike (aka a walk through nature with a few wrong turns), tried both normal and vegan Doeners, walked (!!!) to the Netherlands, had a picnic in Vaals, and saw the sights in Maastricht.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/da424c262e91408d9a80ef92765a4d40/76a3951089008a84-b8/s540x810/1167e6b773a6a8ec3a0c89fd66490e7504110895.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/10e14ed3a23c04c63f8c4df501dd366e/76a3951089008a84-4e/s540x810/7b9cf3e35e0c03bfc68de4d77d663c3909816bb9.jpg)
Each of these travels big and small have made the beauty and convenience of European travel so evident. If you had asked me to plan even a small weekend trip in America, it would have probably required a few weeks of booking, googling, and excursion hunting in advance to feel prepared. However, even an excessive planner like myself can feel comfortable hopping on trains (many of which are included for free in our lovely Eurorail pass provided for us by the UROP program), staying in cheap hostels, and wandering the cities via bus or foot to find anything of interest. With so many more weekends ahead, I can’t wait for all the adventures yet to be planned.

IMPLEMENTATION OF SIM CARD REGISTRATION
Blog Content
The Consultant of the Philippine National Telecommunication Commission Edgardo Cabarios stated that everyone must register their SIMs to protect their security and welfare against cybercrime such as text scams, terrorism, bank fraud, and other connected crimes. The NTC proposes that SIM subscriber should register because it was a law of our nation that have been ratified already. The Government made it to the law to ensure the security and welfare of the citizens against online crimes. But, it is not efficient way to eradicate online crimes as it was been the problem of the other countries and said it was ineffective and inefficient.
There are countries such as Czech Republic, Canada, Netherlands, and Ireland that have also adopted the compulsory SIM Registration but then it just created turmoil against the people and after years they found it ineffective. Moreover, Mexico and Pakistan had also adopted this idea but then there are problems that arose such as identity theft, online fraud, and data breaches because of stolen SIMs sold to others and it was the others being penalized by the crime committed by criminals.
Therefore, SIM card registration should not be mandatory and the NTC together with the Government should study further and make some trials with this implementation and let the people know the campaigns, advocacy, and benefits of SIM card registration and make it known publicly.

not a dream
a truly bizarre missing person (people!) case is hitting Croatia
three young people and a small dog have disappeared after crossing the border between Croatia and Slovenia
they were on their way to the Netherlands for a job and were traveling by a car that one of them owns
they haven't been heard from since early Monday morning on November 7, 2022
one of them sent a message to their loved ones via a phone saying he's going to get back to them as soon as he changes the SIM card in his phone
since then, there's been no activity on any of their phones, accounts, anything
it's been days and their families are super worried
I'm thinking of making a writeup and posting it to Reddit because I know people usually mass share those if they see them on popular sites, and I'll share it here
I know I have a lot of European followers and I want to raise awareness about the situation
