Nie ma wątpliwości że Kim Jones zapoznał się z całym bogactwem domu Fendi: wspaniałym archiwum, imponującym atelier a także… kobietom z arystokratycznego rzymskiego rodu który ów dom utworzył. Nie do pominięcia jest choćby fakt, że Fendi to ponad pół wieku projektowania futer i odzieży przez wielkiego Karla Lagerfelda.

Co do kobiet z rodziny Fendi to zdaniem wielu Delfina Delettrez Fendi jest najmodniejszą z rodziny – cóż, ma wszak dostęp do garderoby swej słynnej matki, Silvii Venturini Fendi, uczennicy i długoletniej współpracowniczki Lagerfelda i nie obawia się swobodnie i śmiało zestawiać poszczególnych elementów ubrania.

Via @dezeen Italian fashion brand Fendi (@fendi) has teamed up with the French Academy in Rome to refresh six salons inside the Villa Medici – a 16th-century Renaissance palace set amongst sprawling gardens in the heart of Rome. Home to the French Academy in Rome since 1803, the building's salons had not been significantly modified in some 20 years, leading the academy to initiate a revamp in the hopes of establishing a better connection between the centuries-old rooms and contemporary design.
