This is my entry for @silvergiftingweek 2023, It can be read as platonic, queerplatonic, or romantic (as an aromantic i’m not entirely sure of the difference with bodily intimacy removed, but they are pretty Close in this, however you see it).

Title: Full disclosure, i am a monster

Summary: Celebrimbor knows his feä is not going to Mandos. No oath had been sworn by him and yet, by blood and deed he swore all the same.

This is his inevitable end.

It’s funny, something muses, now behind him and gripping his shoulders, it's funny you think death will get you out of this friendship.

The First Step Forward by Minubell - is where i got the concept idea of Annatar/Mairon still wanting to be Celebrimbor’s friend, for better or worse

Softly Sing the Children by Drag0nst0rm - is where i got the concept of Maiarin love (not just sauron-love) being inherently possessive and something that can easily work hand in hand with a loss of bodily autonomy

One Change by Zdenka - is where i first discovered the idea of a Dark Celebrimbor, one that can have selfish reasoning to do bad things, and be ok with that.

Alas, for the Weakness of the Great by IntoThineHands - This is where the idea of Celebrimbor playing devil’s advocate for the sake of surpassing his grandfather and or making a legendary item came from

I know most would’ve expected a First Meeting for Tyelpe and Annatar but I had this sudden image of the first time teenager equivalent Celebrimbor sees the dark lieutenant of Morgoth out on the battle field and had to draw that instead x)
