Did you ever notice that Lynels have little ears poking out from their manes? The different forms all have unique eye colors, too. My first fanart of TotK after playing for like 500 hours. This surly little Silver Lynel waiting on the Kamah Plateau in Faron to straight up execute Link with very little provocation. His mane and tail get fluffier every time he does

Was hunting white lynels in Totk and was like ooo that lynels white cause I really can’t tell the difference and then I was fighting it and I was like huh this seems harder than normal and then after I killed it I picked up the parts and. It was not a white lynel. It was a silver lynel. I killed a silver lynel on accident. Which is probably a good thing cause I might not have had the courage if I had known but still. Weird.

The Lynel Areana

So I just did that. Kinda knowing it might be that. But also just thinking "ooo, chest, in a big open space, fight?" First Lynel was tough. I had I think a total of 15 hearts in total I could heal. And two full daybloom meals. It was going well, for a given value of well. Every lynel makes me more and more scared. Feeling kinda cheaty by using a certain sage as a launch pad (No spoilers here, so no names) and then bullet timing them to the face. Hop on, mash Y, repeat. Silver lynel. I use up my last food thinking it is the end. I kill it! then I see the 5th door. Out comes this horrifying creature with a mace and ARMOUR! Attempt one, Bomb arrows. I die ane explosive ddeath. Attempt numer 2, Cooking pots! because I heard they break armour. That saved my life. All in all, did the last lynel with 5 max hearts and 3 fairies. 10/10 deffinitly nerfing myself for future challenges like that

Defeated my first ever Silver Lynel on ‘Tears Of The Kingdom’. It took me so long to upgrade my armor that’s why it’s only just happened now. I took a selfie of my victory but Tulin ruined the shot. Not to mention the awful camera quality. Donned the Savage Lynel Bow for it. Best Bow in the game hands down.

BREAKING NEWS: Local Lynel allows Hylian man to peacefully pass through its domain.

I was gonna draw Tova (Hylian) as well but I got burnt out, so here's just Arion instead, with questionable armor. I don't know how to draw armor lol

I've never drawn a Lynel before, or even a lion-like face, so I really don't know how well this turned out

Arion is a silver lynel who's claimed his territory deep in the forest, away from Hylian civilization. He regularly patrols his territory and chases off anyone (both people and monster) who wanders into his forest.

That was until a young hylian woman (Tova) was passing through and came across him by accident. As per usual, Arion charged in attempt to scare her off, and in a moment of panic, the hylian froze and didn't run off, merely just putting her hands up to either block her head or show she was unarmed. Not expecting her to freeze in place, and also not feeling good about killing someone so small and unarmed, Arion stopped in front of her, more curious than anything.

That's all for now, I don't know where else to take this yet, but I'm thinking on it.

And this isn't like a romance story either, it's a platonic story between a large intimidating beast and a small, slightly less intimidating woman

I was following this lynel map and went to go kill this blue one in a quest for lynel guts. So APPARENTLY THIS GUIDE MISLABELED THIS SILVER MANED LYNEL AS A BLUE ONE. AND I KILLED IT. HOW?!?! Spoilers under the cut
