Hey @lordgrimwing, @nighttimepatrons, @papita474, and @eri-pl, is there anything you'd want to bring to Silm brunch?

(So far there's omelettes, breakfast tacos with fresh salsa, hash browns, and German puff pancakes)

🤔 Tell us one of your favorite Silm headcanons. Can be one that's out in the wild or a personal one! Maglor never returns to elven society (he can talk to some of them, but he's never unexiled) and he never sails west. If he ever gets to Valinor, it's by dying and being reembodied.

🍽️ You are having a dinner party and you can invite five (5) characters from the Silm. Who do you invite? Elrond, Feanor, Daeron, Finrod, and uuuuh Nurwe or Morwe (the two elf leaders who refused the invite to Valinor, not named in Silm but shh) - on the condition that they are all on their best behaviour (looking at you Feanor). I'd just sit back and listen to them talk. I think they would be five of the most interesting to people to listen to. Since they're all men I'll also have brunch with Nerdanel, Elwing, Melian, Andreth (not in Silm ssh), and Galadriel for the similar reasons but also I think it'd be fun.

Pet peeves: condescension, coworkers who have selective deafness in which they can hear anyone with a penis but mysteriously don’t hear a damn thing when I talk (yet claim their hearing is just fine!), people who apparently think my degree conferred magic or possibly telekinesis on me and I can somehow make the laws of physics do whatever they want

Best memory: two solid hours on Monday up Trail Ridge Road in which it was just me and the mountains

Hmmm... I like baking but we already have a lot of starchy foods here. And a cake (hash browns are a cake, right?)

So a salad… no, it's too hard to decide on a salad. I bring a lot of plastic boxes and set up a salad bar (there are tomatoes, and lettuce and feta cheese, olives, chopped onion, cucumbers, and cut smoked chicken, and chickpeas and various dressings, pumpkin seeds, probably something I forgot, and empty salad bowls and basically it's a DYI salad. )

I can cook, but I can't think of any more complex brunch food that doesn't double the role of something already there. (but hey, the dressings are made from basic components).

Wait, no. It's a Silm brunch. I also bring cookies shaped like the (a little flat) Silmarilli and decorated appropriately. I put them on the table and watch the mayhem unfold. :D
