Shuri stands tall on the deck of the T'Challa, named in honor of her fallen brother, the former king of Wakanda. She is surrounded by nothing but the vast ocean and the salty sea air, on her way to the coordinates provided by the Talokanil.
As she gazes out at the horizon, she notices the seagulls gliding across the sky, their harsh cries piercing the silence. She watches them for a moment, then turns her attention back to the sea.
The ocean is eerily calm today, the waves gently lapping against the hull of the warship. Shuri moves to the railing, leaning over to watch the foam appear and disappear beneath the surface. She grips the railing tightly, there was a tightness in her chest as she stares out into the endless expanse of water, her mind racing with thoughts of the mission ahead.
She is grateful that the former leader of the Jabari has taken his role as king of Wakanda so seriously, and is glad that she can continue to protect her country from the shadows. At the same time, he handles the day-to-day duties of ruling.
Shuri takes a deep breath and focuses on the coordinates provided by the Talokanil, preparing herself for the challenges that lie ahead. She is determined to protect Wakanda and her people, no matter the cost.
Shuri has spent months alternating between living in Wakanda and Haiti, getting to know her nephew and rediscovering herself. The synthetic heart-shaped herb has turned her into something otherworldly, imbuing her with super strength, increased durability, and enhanced senses. It has taken her some time to adjust to her new abilities and figure out how to control them.
In between dealing with these changes, she has also had to respond to security breaches and incursions by other nations on Wakanda's outreach facilities. The other nations are getting bolder, and Shuri has a feeling that something worse than Namor's flooding of Wakanda is coming for her people. She must be ready, she is the Black Panther now, and the protection and peace of Wakanda rests heavily on her shoulders.
As the country's chief engineer, she has spent countless months in her lab, working tirelessly to create new weaponry and suits for the Dora Milaje and their military, fortifying Wakanda's borders to withstand nuclear attacks, and communicating with the Hatut Zeraze and N'Charu Silema, who work undercover in various international intelligence agencies. She has done everything in her power to prepare her people for the challenges that lie ahead.
That is why she has been invited to attend this meeting between the Talokanil delegation and PRIDE, Wakanda's intelligence agency.
Shuri's mind wanders to her brother, T'Challa, and the sacrifices he made for their country. There's a pang of grief and determination. She will do whatever it takes to honor his memory and protect Wakanda. She is well aware that the choices taken here will have a profound impact on the future of her country and its citizens.
She's been told that Namor will be at the meeting. It's been a few months since she last saw him, and she's curious to see how he's changed over time. She wonders if the wing she had slashed off has finally grown back, and what he looks like now.
The last time she saw him was at the first true meeting between their two nations when they sealed their alliance. She rarely attends meetings between their two countries, trusting M'Baku to handle them as the king of Wakanda in her absence.
She remembers the last time she saw him, just a week after their battle on the deserted beach. His foot was still bandaged from the wound she had inflicted on him. Part of her is proud that the wound she inflicted still lingers, that she was able to make this god-like being mortal.
She is not surprised that Namor agreed to the alliance in the end. She knows that he had agreed to the alliance in the end because it has always been his goal to form an alliance between their two nations.
And yet, despite showing him mercy and sparing his life, she still does not trust him. She knows that he would not hesitate to kill her if it suited his purposes. She still carries the scar from where he impaled her on that deserted beach, a constant reminder of the pain he has caused her. She knows that he feels no guilt about indirectly killing her mother and almost wiping out her entire nation. He is a walking reminder of her pain and loss and the fact that her world was left in shambles because she refused to give him what he wanted.
Despite all of this, Namor has agreed to this alliance, to help her win a war she doesn't think she can win alone. She's not sure why he's doing it, but she's grateful for his assistance. She just hopes she can keep her guard up and not let him get too close.
She knows he's a ruthless man, willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. And now she's in his territory, expected to negotiate with him. She's still trying to come to terms with the fact that an entire nation is counting on her. She's not the queen, and she never thought she would be. She's just Shuri, the new protector of Wakanda, and so far, she's done a good job of keeping her people safe.
But she knows she can't let her guard down around him. She knows he's dangerous, and she's not sure what he's capable of.
But she knows that Namor is a formidable opponent, and she's not sure she can trust him in anything aside from this; they both want to keep vibranium out of foreign hands, and know what the consequences would be for both their people if it ever came down to it. She just hopes she can hold her own in these negotiations and keep Wakanda safe from his machinations.
Shuri's thoughts are interrupted by the sound of footsteps behind her. She turns to see Okoye approaching, her face stern and determined.
"Princess, we have almost arrived at the coordinates. It's time to meet with them."
Shuri nods, taking a deep breath to steady herself. As she follows Okoye down to the lower deck, she thinks of Namor.
Shuri's mind is filled with images of the deep bronze of his skin illuminated by the light of the glowworms, and the intensity of his dark gaze. She remembers the warmth and gentleness of his calloused fingers as he carefully wrapped his mother’s bracelet around her slender wrist, and the comfort she felt in his presence. In her memory, Namor always looked regal and powerful, like the god his people believed him to be.
But at times, Shuri's mind can be cruel, and she remembers the moments they spent together in Talokan, laughing and joking with each other. In those moments, Namor was kind and gentle, and Shuri always felt comfortable in his presence. He always seemed interested in her and treated her with respect, never taking advantage of her or pushing her into anything against her wishes.
Despite his imposing demeanor, Shuri knows that Namor has spent centuries alone and isolated in the depths of the sea. She believes that what he needs is a friend, someone to talk to and share his secrets with. She had wanted to be there for him, to take care of him, and show him that he is loved and accepted for who he is, without judgment.
But Shuri also remembers the loneliness that seemed to radiate from Namor, the sense that he was a wounded soul longing for companionship. She struggles to reconcile this with the idea that he is a monster, but in the end, she knows that he is just a man, vulnerable and lonely, lost in his own way.
Sometimes she wonders how much of what they shared was real and how much was a lie, a persona that Namor crafted to lower her guard and make her more susceptible to his influence. She wonders if Namor had only pretended to be kind in order to manipulate her. She struggles with the idea that he may not be the man she thought he was. But no matter what, she cannot deny the connection they shared and the memories they made together.
Shuri knows that Namor, the powerful and charismatic God King of Talokan, is not a good person. She knows he can be cold-blooded at times and willing to do whatever it takes to protect his people, even if it hurts her and her own. She has seen the depth of his cruelty and knows he cannot be trusted.
But despite her better judgment, she finds herself drawn to him, unable to resist his charm and charisma. She knows that he is perceptive and will sense her attraction, and she fears that he will use it against her, playing on her emotions and making her believe that he is capable of change, of love.
She knows that if she gives in to her desires, he will want more than just her body. He will try to control and manipulate her, pushing her to do things that go against her values. She knows that a future with Namor is impossible, for he is nigh-immortal, and she is still young.
But still, she is drawn to him, even as she knows that he is dangerous and untrustworthy. She must be careful, for she is dealing with a powerful and unpredictable being who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
The Talokanil's coordinates come into view, and Shuri's focus sharpens. She looks out at the island, knowing the challenges that await her. But she is ready. She is a warrior, a scientist, and a leader. Like her brother, she will face whatever lies ahead with strength and grace.
As the warship docks, the weight of her brother's memory settles on her shoulders. She knows that this meeting is crucial for the future of Wakanda, and she is determined to make him proud.
The ocean surrounding Namor has always been a constant presence in his life, a source of strength and solace. But as he thinks of Princess Shuri, it's as if the sea itself has been stirred up, churning and roiling with emotion. The mere thought of her bewitches him, and he can't shake the constant longing to be with her.The painful regrowth of his lost wing makes it so she's never far from his thoughts.
His thoughts are consumed by her, as if she were a siren singing a seductive song, luring him into the depths of the ocean. She's a force of nature, wild and untamed, and he can't help but be drawn to her.
He's been trying to focus on his duties as king, but the thought of her keeps creeping back into his mind. He's constantly wondering if they'll be alone, if he'll finally be able to drown in her gaze and as her body pressed against his. He's been dreaming of her for nights on end, imagining her soft skin under his hands, the taste of her lips on his, her naked form entwined with his in the cool, dark depths of the sea.
Namor knows he shouldn't let himself get distracted by her, but it's as if the sea life itself is conspiring against him. He's always been a creature of habit, rising early to bathe in the ocean and train for combat, but now even the dolphins seem to be singing her name. He tries to meditate and pray to his gods, hoping to find some clarity, but all he can see is her face.
As he goes about his duties as king, he finds himself constantly thinking of her. He meets with his generals and advisors, but all he can hear is the sound of her voice. Every decision he makes in council is colored by the hope that he'll see her again. He roams the city, listening to the complaints of his people, but all he can see is her smile. In the evening, he swims for hours, exploring the wonders of the sea, but all he can feel is her touch.
Namor is a proud leader, a God-King chosen to protect and serve his people. But as he thinks of Princess Shuri, he feels like his own heart is in danger. He's always been careful and calculating, willing to do whatever it takes to protect his kingdom. But with her, he finds himself wanting to let go of his guarded nature, to dive into the depths of love and see where it takes him.
He knows he shouldn't risk everything for a woman he barely knows, but as he thinks of her, he can't shake the feeling that she's the one he's been waiting for all these centuries. The one who will finally bring him the happiness and love he's always yearned for. The one who will make him feel alive again, like a sea creature reborn in the embrace of the ocean.
Namor knows he needs to see her, to finally be able to quiet the constant thoughts of her that plague him. He's a creature of habit and routine, but the warrior princess has thrown all that off balance. All he can think about is being with her, and he knows the only way to get her out of his head is to finally be with her, to satisfy the constant craving she's ignited within him.
Namor has always struggled with the concept of love. He loves his people with a fierce loyalty, but he doesn't know how to love in the same way he sees others do. He's a creature of the sea, a being of habit and routine, and he doesn't often find himself drawn to new experiences or people.
But when the Wakandans revealed themselves to the other nations on the surface world, Namor was intrigued. Finally, something different and exciting to stir his boredom. And when the opportunity arose to start a war between Wakanda and the other nations on the surface, Namor couldn't resist. He saw it as a chance to create chaos and excitement, to see how Wakanda would fare against an unknown enemy like Talokan.
But as he plotted and schemed, Namor began to realize that he had more at stake than just his own entertainment. He began to see the strengths and capabilities of the Wakandans. He found himself drawn to their princess, who in her grief attracted him like a shark to bloodied water.
Namor has been captivated by Shuri since he first learned of the young innovator behind Wakanda's technological advancements. He’d been immediately intrigued by her intelligence, drive, and the darkness he sensed within her. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he was captivated by her beauty, her brilliance, and her fierce spirit. He was drawn to the darkness he sensed in her, to the way she seemed to understand him and his own struggles.
As he got to know her, Namor realized that Shuri was more than just a formidable foe, a force to be reckoned with. He's fascinated by her strength and determination, sees her as a kindred spirit, someone who understood him on a deeper level due to their shared circumstances and upbringing.
Their first encounter had been brief but electric, and Namor can still remember the way Shuri stood bravely by her mother, prepared for a fight after he emerged from the water, her eyes curious and calculating as she measured him up. He saw the same curiosity in her eyes during their second meeting when he told her the story of how his people came into being and showed her his home. He gave her his mother's bracelet, both sincerely and with a hint of manipulation, hoping that she would understand . Their people shared the same struggles, the same enemies, why couldn’t they join forces and wipe them out? Their third meeting encounter had cemented his need for her, she’d become something other - an equal - the Black Panther, a warrior for her people and the leader of the most powerful nation on the surface. She’d been beautiful in her rage, in her desire for retribution, her movements limber and agile as she fought him, made him yield . She had become the first ever truly to wound him.
Despite his initial desire to manipulate and control Shuri, Namor quickly realized that she was too strong and too intelligent to be easily swayed. She saw through his attempts at manipulation, to win her trust and affection, and understood that she would never be safe if she aligned herself with him.
Despite this, Namor can't help but be drawn to her, even as he struggled with his feelings. He can't deny the way she stirred something deep inside him, a desire and yearning that he had never experienced before, feelings he hasn't experienced in centuries. She challenged him in ways that no one else had, and she made him question himself and his actions. She was everything he had ever dreamed of, and more. And he finds himself wanting to be with her, to possess her and make her his own, to be the one she thinks about constantly, the one who consumes her thoughts and desires.
He wants to ruin her, just as she’s ruined him.
When they finally come face-to-face again, Namor knows that he won't stop until he has claimed Shuri, no matter the cost. He wants to take over her mind, body, and soul, to be with her constantly, even when they are apart. He knows that he won't be able to resist the urge to break her apart with his touch, to claim every inch of her body as his own.
Shuri is the only one who has ever made Namor think about things differently, and he knows that she is the key to unlocking the love and affection that he has always been too afraid to embrace. He is determined to have her, to make her his own, no matter what stands in his way.

At the streets of Malta you can easily see the beautiful traditional enclosed wooden balconies that are synonymous with Malta. According to their history, in the past Maltese housewives rarely went out unless accompanied by their husband, and the balcony was their way of observing the world in a discreet way that maintained their modesty. The colourful richly decorated balconies that compliment the limestone facade are one of the prominent eye-catching elements of architecture in the Maltese Island and the nickname is known as "Harem window" or "Gallariji" in Maltese language 🇲🇹 #HISTORY. #SpeechlessPlaces #BeautifulDestinations 📸 #Adventure #Tourism #Travel #MaltaBalconies #Explore #Experience #Silema #Valleta #Malta (at Sliema & Valletta) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8R4JetAZMQ/?igshid=1razacq21yy88
