it’s genuinely so sad seeing some people blaming vi for cait leaving her, because it’s exactly what people did with the whole powder situation.
vi was a child when she saw the brutal, horrific end of her brothers and fathers. she was a child, she was hurt, physically and mentally, she lashed out at powder. it is clearly a mistake that she regretted. she looked at her bloodied fist in horror, started crying when she looks at powder, and she left to collect herself. because she was the only one powder has left, and powder was the only one she has left. vander’s last words to her were instructing her to take care of powder. she needed a moment, just a moment, to grieve. but the moment she saw powder is in danger? she immediately got up. she was ready for another fight. she was ready to protect her sister, without hesitation, even after fighting and losing the rest of their family before her very eyes.
i think a lot of people take jinx’s words as an immediate, inherit truth. “you created jinx.” perhaps it’s because jinx herself is the one who said it. but i don’t think vi did that. vi was in prison, as a child, surrounded by violence. constantly beaten, constantly hungry, but she never once forgot about powder. not a day, not an hour, went by that she didn’t think about her little sister. the first thing she does upon getting out of prison is immediately try to find powder. powder may have been traumatized by that fateful night, rightfully so, vi was too, but i don’t think vi created jinx. silco was the one who created jinx. he manipulated her, worsened her mental state, the whole nine yards. i’m not here to discuss whether he loved her because that’s ultimately not what this post is about. what i’m saying is that vi didn’t create jinx, but she blames herself for it anyway. she blames herself for abandoning powder, for not being able to protect her, for her roughness.
it’s so painstakingly obvious she isn’t willing to do that again. she isn’t willing to hurt those she loves. as a result, she’s so soft, so gentle, with caitlyn. she wipes away her tears, holds her, and genuinely sympathizes with her loss. she is able to be there for caitlyn because she has lost people time and time again. she joins caitlyn’s elite force to compensate for her actions (because, again, she openly states she believes she created the monster that is jinx). she becomes the thing she hated most to attempt to right her wrongs, but she still has her morals, she’s growing increasingly uncomfortable with caitlyn’s increasingly violent and cold deposition.
vi is scared of what caitlyn is becoming. she is openly scared of caitlyn, of how unrecognizable her rage and grief is making her. she doesn’t call out caitlyn’s rapidly growing hatred and dehumanization of her own people, not at first. but she’s scared. she’s scared what’s happening to the woman who was shown the reality of what her people face, what’s happening to the woman who genuinely wanted to make a difference, the woman who is ultimately kind as she is naive, the woman who gave away her only means of protection to save vi.
after their battle against jinx and sevika, she voices her concerns. she openly asks caitlyn what’s wrong with her. when she says caitlyn is acting like jinx, she isn’t being cruel. she’s trying to bring caitlyn back to reality. she’s saying “you’re losing yourself and it’s scaring me”. she grabs caitlyn’s arm, but, remembering that she hurt powder, what resulted from that, she immediately loosens her grip, positions her hand so she’s gently holding caitlyn’s wrist. she’s not willing to hurt caitlyn. she wants a productive conversation, she wants to understand, she wants to communicate, she wants caitlyn to understand that she’s becoming something dangerous, and she will do something she will regret.
caitlyn is triggered by vi’s words. she likely, at least subconsciously, resents and blames vi for her mother’s death. vi pleaded with caitlyn not to kill jinx, and caitlyn hesitated, and that resulted in the death of her mother. to be clear, i don’t blame vi for cassandra’s death, because she legitimately had nothing to do with it. but i think caitlyn blames her. she blames her for stopping her a second time, and takes vi’s statement as a direct comparison to her and her mother’s killer. on a surface level, it might have been, but i think it was a warning. it was a warning to caitlyn that her grief and rage were blinding her and she was betraying the morals she held so closely in season one. she’s actively becoming unrecognizable to vi like how jinx is unrecognizable to her, and she doesn’t want that. she doesn’t want caitlyn to lose herself.
in the end, that softness, it doesn’t matter. it doesn’t matter that she tried so hard to go about it differently, to be gentle rather than strong. because caitlyn strikes her in the same place she healed her wounds. caitlyn strikes her with her weapon, looks at her with such obvious contempt and disdain, just like the enforcers she’s encountered her entire life, and vi knows she’s lost her, just like she’s lost everyone. caitlyn is unrecognizable, blinded by her hatred, and vi is alone. she’s left alone after the woman who promised to not change changes so deeply and so badly.
i think that’s the tragedy of vi. she learns from her mistakes, she tries to be gentle, she carries the grief of everyone she loves, and she loves very deeply. however, she can’t save people who don’t want to be saved. she can’t stop people she loves from becoming their worst selves.
#arcane#arcane s2#vi#caitlyn kiramman#cassandra kiramman#jinx#silco#astra.txt#she and ekko and mel and jayce and ambessa are my favorites oh my god#it’s just. she is an inherently tragic character who loves so so deeply#she tries to be gentle and she’s given a massive fuck you from the universe#i luv her#very much.#jinx needs to realize she’s not a jinx and that she and powder are one and the same and she isn’t doomed#vi needs to realize that sometimes people just change and sometimes you can’t do anything about it#but it isn’t her fault

Love this observation, but the way I see it, her nailing the bunny in plain sight isn't at odds with Silco's words. It's exactly what he imparted to her.
where she's accepted her sister's role in shaping her, but also Silco's advice.
That WAS Silco's advice. He never asks her to forget her old life or try to stamp out memories of it, just to let her old self die. Accept that your old life happened and always remember the horrible situation it culminated in. Including the loved one who hurt and "abandoned" you, remember her and what she did. Make peace with it and try to see it as a positive thing. It was meant to be, to teach you a lesson that your old self cannot feasibly survive in this world. And to finally unleash the strong person that was always hidden under the "weak" exterior.
Don't fight it. Let the transformation happen. So when you go back into that room and work on that gemstone, you will no longer be the scared little Powder who was hurt by it. You will be Jinx. Strong, fearless, unbowed by trauma. It will not be able to hurt you the way it hurt Powder.
Silco's equivalent of Jinx nailing Vi's bunny to the wall would be Vander's knife constantly stabbed onto his desk. Out in the open to serve as a constant reminder of the lesson. It's not a "don't look back" message. It's "when you look back, see it as another lifetime that had to happen to make you who you are now. Never forget it and never GO back."
A small observation regarding Jinx's mental state
In episode 5, Jinx tries out the gem stone and gets badly triggered by the resulting Arcane explosion (on top of her recent Vi-lookalike trigger). It blows the box under doll-Mylo's feet, revealing the Flare and the Bunny plushie.
Shortly after she confesses to Silco she can't do it and gives up, probably a very concerning attitude on her part, given that the events of episode 4 happen solely out of her driving need to constantly prove herself useful. No wonder that Silco decided this was concerning enough to take her down to the Pilt for his pep talk.
There he tells her to let Powder die, become Jinx etc. She seems to take him to heart... And as we learn in episode 9, to her it's Vi who "created Jinx". So interestingly, when we next see Jinx, finally making real progress on hextech, the bunny is not back into the box :
It's overseeing her work, pinned to the wall like on a cross. Like having Vi (who is dead, as far as both Jinx and Silco know) being a more prominent part of her life is necessary to embrace Jinx. Of course, the flare also doesn't go back in the box...
Sevika changes everything by reveling Vi is alive and kicking, but the moment Jinx is at her most efficient and happily working away is in that sweet lull, where she's accepted her sister's role in shaping her, but also Silco's advice.
One is left to wonder how things would have gone for Jinx if Vi hadn't returned, or hadn't confronted Sevika. I mean, Arcane is basically the "what if" show as every other plot point tips us forward into more disaster, but you know...
Tl;dr : Up until Silco's speech to her, Jinx was ignoring her sister.
She has no doll for her. She keeps her mementos in a BOX.
Away from sight. After Silco's speech she's shown using both of them, most likely in an attempt to fully realise "Jinx".
You'd think that's when she's put the bunny and flare *away*, but it's literally when she takes them OUT of storage
#i don't think silco believes she should forget about vi#if that were the case he wouldn't constantly still be talking about vander and what he did#he wouldn't have that knife on his desk#silco's thing is: remember what happened and how it ended up killing you#accept your death. don't try to reverse it. don't fight it.#you are now free to be reborn into who you were always meant to be#it's amazing how people with no access to mental health services learn their own ways to process and manage their trauma#and i love how his words helped jinx. she wasn't afraid of the hextech because she accepted she wasn't that inexperienced child anymore#she laid powder to rest. but JINX is an expert at weapons manufacturing. she's a genius and she's strong.#so what does she have to fear?#is it the healthiest way of coping? no. but damn did it help her... until she found out vi was alive.#jinx#silco

what doesn’t kill you… `𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 - 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘤𝘰
Summary: The one where it all started with betrayal. A meeting that later grew into a partnership no one expected. In the end, they both will have their Nation of Zaun. Or will they?
Warnings: Arcane spoilers, drug use, blood, violence, typical Arcane stuff.
Pairing: Silco x f!reader
series masterlist
Dear, Silco.
Before I begin, you should know how difficult it is for me to put my feelings into words. So, please accept my apologies if this letter does not come across as sincere as I had hoped.
I'll most likely be long gone by the time you read this letter. And the most important thing you should know is that it was not your fault. The events of the previous few days had had a profound effect on me. Every day, something happened that made me question my beliefs, feelings, and power that I held.
It all began when we went to see Ren. God, that little girl. She was the one who started it all, and everything went downhill from there. When I saw Marcus's body on the bridge that day, I realized Ren will be alone. And that was something I wanted to change.
Remember how many times have I told you how scared I am of not knowing how to raise a child? Since you brought Jinx with you that day, every day I feared that I might do something wrong. Perhaps this is why she grew up to be your daughter rather than mine. You were always better at this than me.
But with Ren it was different. It was as if all of my fears had vanished, and I knew exactly what I needed to do. Now I'm wondering if it was all meant to be. Perhaps Marcus was meant to die so that I could care for Ren. She changed me. She changed me completely and I am sorry. Believe me when I say that it was never my intention to leave you on purpose. And, as you are aware, we do not have the ability to stop the river from flowing into the sea or stop the sun from setting. The same was with me. This was something I couldn't stop.
I know what you're thinking right now. Why was I so upset that you chose Jinx when I was willing to give up everything for the Sheriff's daughter? Well, accept my sorry. It's just that when I realized you weren't going to hand her over, something in me snapped. I was enraged that you could jeopardize our dreams for the sake of a girl. Only after our argument did I try to put myself in your shoes. And now I understand.
Because I would do it too. I couldn’t give up Ren. Not for anything.
Silco, I hope you can find the strength to forgive me. After all, we both gave up our lives for girls who were left alone in this world. We appear to have more in common than we previously thought.
There is only one thing I need from you. Please do not come looking for me. I'm sure you could find me if you wanted to. Please, don’t. Regardless of how angry, disappointed, or sad, you are.
Zaun is your world, it’s where you’re supposed to be. You fit there, and I don’t.
Someone once told me that when they first saw me, they thought I was a Topsider. I'm not saying I was too good for Zaun; you, of all people, know that's not the case. But maybe this wasn't the right city for me. After all, it has brought me only grief and suffering.
I want you to know that I believe in you, Silco. I never stopped. Continue what we started, there will be plenty of other opportunities. Create the ideal Zaun, just like in our dreams. Meanwhile, I’ll be on the other side, always thinking about you.
And remember,
I love you.

Paring: Sevika x reader
Summary: Sevika being soft(?) and protective?
Warnings: Ummm, not sure there is any? There’s a mention of getting a paper cut, and of death.
A/N: This is something short and random idk! The ending kinda sucked but whateverrr
Sevika doesn’t let people see the soft side of her. If the soft side even exists. She says it doesn’t, but you beg to differ.
“Playing card games with your friends seems harmless! Why cant i join you?” You asked her.
You two were currently walking the streets of Zaun. Sevika was going to Silco’s place to get information on some kind of mission she was assigned for, and you insisted you go with her. It took about 5 minutes of begging for her to finally let you.
“They’re not my “friends,” they’re my acquaintances.” She answers. “It’s not safe. Make one wrong move and they’ll kill you.”
“Good thing I have you there to protect me then, huh?” You say.
She looks over at you for a second, looking unimpressed.
You know Sevika isn’t as mean and cold as she shows everyone.
One time, you were organizing her folders, and got a paper cut. It hurt like a bitch so you of course screamed,
“ouch! God damn it!”
Sevika appeared in the room within 10 seconds.
“WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED.” She quickly said, very concerned.
“I got a paper cut.” You pouted.
She calms down immediately and stares at you with narrow eyes.
“Do- Um. Do you have a bandai-“ You start saying, but she walks away.
“Sooo, where is this Silco’s place anyway? Are we almost there?” You ask impatiently.
“Yeah, right up here.” She answers.
You guys walk in and it’s pretty dark and gloomy looking, not that you’d expect anything less.
While Sevika goes into Silco’s office, you wait out in the hallway. A girl with blue hair comes into your vision as she comes out of the office laughing.
“Oh- hey there.” She says.
She seems really hyper and excited. You do remember Sevika saying something about a blue haired girl named “Jinx” and how she’s “the most annoying creature to ever have cross her path.”
“Oh hi, are you.. Jinx?” You ask.
“That’s right, toots! Issa me.” She laughs. “And you are..?”
“I’m-“
The office door opens and Sevika comes out with a folder.
“She’s none of your business.” Sevika says.
“Woah woah there, ogre. No need to get sour.” Jinx answers.
Sevika curses under her breath. And grabs on to your arm, leading you away.
“Bye’ya, doll!” She yells at you, knowing it would make Sevika angry, how she loved pissing her off.

The Crime Lord’s New Groove Part 5
Master <Part 4 Part 6>
Pairing: Silco x GN Reader
Summary: You find that your boss, Silco, has been turned into a cat.
Warnings: none
a/n: I'm not dead, just listening to podcast about people with delusions of grandeur, and maybe that's where this story will end up.
Smuggling cat-Silco into his office was much easier than getting him out. It helped Sevika could glare anyone into submission, forcing them to look down at the ground while you carried the precious cargo that was your boss.
You and Sevika tore the office apart, searching for any clues. Random cursed objects, cat claws and whiskers used for a sacrifice, even Shimmer tainted catnip. There was nothing, though it’s not like either of you knew what to look for. Besides, neither of you spent enough time in the office to know if something was out of place.
The cat himself clearly had other things to do. You watched as Silco tapped objects around with mild interest, using some to test the gravity in the office. A small pile of trinkets and pens amassed on the floor as time went on. Every once and a while, Silco would sit his scruffy-looking ass down, tail wrapped over his front paws, and stare holes into you and Sevika. His look was bored, as if expecting to be entertained. Neither of you knew what he wanted, so he would go back to tapping objects.
“So, what you’re telling me is… you know nothing.”
Never taking your eye off a pen as it rolled under the desk, you responded dejectedly. “Well, when you put it that way, it sounds like I didn’t try. However, I think I’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty here.”
Sevika scoffed. “Right. You have no answers and no leads but you definitely deserve a raise.”
You groaned and swiveled your head toward the golden armed warrior. “It’s not like I was here when it happened and I already told you my suspect is—”
“A lady with no appointment, who said something, and left without anyone noticing.”
“Yeah so, I mean, that’s not nothing—”
“There are many ladies in Zaun, you moron, it barely narrows it down.”
“I’m not exactly an expert in therianthropy or shapeshifting. I work behind the bar most nights! Y’all don’t even trust me enough to do inventory, so I fail to see how this is remotely my problem.” You dug the heals of your hands into your eyes and sighed, annoyed at how unlucky you were to have been the one to have found Silco. “Do you remember what that old hag looked like, from yesterday? She was the last one you saw come in here, right? Could you describe her enough so I could draw her face and see if we can use that to ask around?”
It was quiet for a moment. You looked up to see both Silco and Sevika staring at you incredulously. Raising your arms in question, you glared back at the two.
Sevika huffed, “You can draw? I’ve seen your handwriting, it’s dogshit.”
Underpaid and underappreciated, you wondered why you even offered and why you were still here. You grabbed a pen off the floor and some loose paper, making room on the messy desk. The sketch of the woman’s face started out generic, a base for Sevika to go off of.
It was all going fine until a few lines started to get out of hand and the pen became difficult to use. You scowled at Silco, who was much closer and swatting the moving pen. Lifting the pen out of reach, you frowned, trying to convey your annoyance. No emotion showed on his face, only focused on his target.
A silent battle was fought between the two of you. Silco looked at you with defiant eyes. This was Silco’s desk, pen, paper, and office, and if he wanted to play with the pen, it was his right. However, you were trying to help make him not a cat and his little paws were interfering with that work. After a few seconds, you made your attack. You lifted Silco up, keeping him at arms length, and placed him on the chair all while ignoring the deepening scowl the scruffy feline gave.
“If Silco remembers what happened while he was a cat, he’ll kill you. Maybe worse.”
You sighed, “He’ll have to get in line. Just tell me what the lady looked like.”
Silco accepted his fate, stretching his claws into the seat of the chair, walking in a circle, and curling up into a fluffy ball.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
After pulling the details out from Sevika, which was more difficult than you could have imagined (like it was Sevika’s job to keep them secret and close to her heart), you had a sketch to go off of. When you had a moment to finally look at it, you were sure you messed up somewhere.
You turned to Sevika, the sketch outstretched in your hands. “Is this what she looked like?”
“Shit, that looks just like the woman. It’s almost like you’ve seen her before.”
Silco snapped his head up, eyes bleary from sleep, now alert. He uncurled himself from the chair to leap onto the desk for a better vantage point. A single paw tapped your wrist impatiently a few times until you laid out the sketch on the desk. Silco took a few steps back, taking in the portrait. His head tilted from side to side before he pounced on the paper and looked up at you, meowing in approval.
“Even Silco agrees.” You rubbed your face, giving yourself a moment to think. “Well, the good news is, I know who the woman is.”
“Really? Who?”
“My landlord.”
Seivka stood and started making her way toward the door. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s get going.”
“Wait! But I live there! I can’t go accusing my landlord of witchcraft, she’ll evict me.”
“How is that my problem?”
You sputtered, thrown off kilter by Sevika’s lack of empathy. “Where would I live?”
Before Sevika could answer, Silco meowed loud enough to startle you both. He held his presence as if he was human again, demanding respect and attention. It was easy to forget how powerful he was when he looked so cute and fluffy.
“Silco will reward you for helping him, of course.”
Sighing, you considered the offer. Realistically, you couldn’t say no to Silco anyway. “Fine, but let me talk to her first. I’ll try to negotiate nicely and if that doesn’t work, you can be the bad cop.”
The golden armed brute looked toward that cat sitting on the desk, waiting for approval. Silco sat up straight, regal as always, and looked between the two of you. He nodded and blinked slowly. It was a weird scene to experience, waiting for a cat to dictate the path of your future.
The same cat that started grooming himself on top of the desk.
“The boss has spoken, let’s go.”

Arcane s2: ep 1 - 3 reaction
After putting it off for so long, finally started season two! Compiling my liveblogs here so I don’t spam my followers lol
Ep1
The counselors piss me off honestly. The only ones I have sympathy for are Mel and MAYBE Jayce (Viktor and Caitlyn aren’t part of the council so they don’t count) mfs attack zaun 1000 times but when zaun fights back suddenly they’re horrible creatures.
Oh thank god Vi didn’t accept the enforcer badge just yet. I know she eventually becomes one due to game osmosis, but I think she needs to change too much for the worse for that to happen. And she doesn’t feel like that yet.
Why does this guy sitting beside vi look so much like Vander…..
Come on Vi do NOT be tempted by one nice girl and Caitlyn’s sweet words. Do not become an enforcer yet. Wait at LEAST until halfway through the season, please please please 😭😭😭
WAIT BO DONT KILL MEL PELASE PLEASW NOT MEL
I think Vi is going to join the enforcers mostly because she might see Caitlyn as the only person she has left, and since they have hextech because she sees it as an answer to her problems. Sigh Vi I will love you even if you become a cop but I will be very disappointed
OMG I FORGOT THIS LADY WAS TRHE MOTHER OF THE KID WHO DIED. Yeah she should be allowed to do as she pleases with Jayce,
Vi nooo don’t use hextech… ought here are no right decisions right now but this marks the beginning of the end
Oh. Omfg. Mel’s mother is with them. She likely got together with them and coordinated an attack so that Piltover would have an excuse to use hextech against Zaun. Vile woman. It makes sense now why that person randomly spared Mel, though— oh wait I nvm I rewatched this part I understood everything wrong. Still… very suspicious. This is now my theory, then.
Oh, man… Vi can certainly relate to that. Vi do not project yourself into Caitlyn too much pease, I want you to spend at least 1/3 of this season Not being a cop
… what the hell are up with these images? Drawings? Caitlyn is looking at…? Interesting. And ugh there goes there fuck ass counselors again
“They must have had help from someone up here” and the camera pans to Mel’s mother. Either I was right or this is a red herring. Either way they’re definitely implying she did it
NOOOOOOO VI NOOOOOOOOO. THSI IS THE WORST DAY EVER. Please quit soon <3 I feel sick.
Edit: can I just say when caitlyn said “I thought you were on our side” and “I understand now how easy it is to hate them” all I could think was fucking. Nick from Zootopia “oh so there’s a THEM now?”
Ep2
Can I just say like. I know this has a lot of symbolism and everything but it’s so funny how basically every episode starts with a fucking amv.
… is the fucking shitty parent abandonment issues cycle hot gonna continue with Jinx and this kid or will the world finally allow me to be happy
Omg it’s werevander isn’t it?!???
She’s not handing Jinx over in an attempt to fulfill Silco’s last wishes, isn’t she?
Can i just say Viktor looks sick as fuck
I fucking forgot Heirmedinger existed godamnit. Now that he’s working with Ekko I can tolerate him ig
…oh fuck either 1) viktor is gonna accidentally corrupt places due to his body being full of hextech now or 2) the cave with shimmer, you know with the mad scientist, has started to contaminate natural resources around it and Ekko’s resistance could be close to it
THE FUCKIGN GUY. THE GUY WITH THE TUMOR IN THE HEAD DUE TO SHIMMER. THTA GUY
Jinx ily but godamnit the first thing you do once you smell somethign that makes you cough up like that is TRY to cover your nose and mouth —- oh fuck no. No. The gauntlet. Jinx is gonna see what Vi became. Nooooo. Fuckkkk
Neither jinx nor I am ready to see enforcer vi. I’m going to ki *remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health* I’m going to defeat the king on my own.
Jinx not taking the shot on vi :(((((
Nah bro these mfs are actual dumbasses fr fr, who td just throws a bomb in the ground like that.
Ok eu não terminei ainda mas acho que sei o que que meu primo quis dizer com “ele vai aparecer. Jesus” agora. Viktor REALMENTE parece o Jesus.
Omfg he literally is so Jesus coded. Por que que eu to vendo um episódio da bíblia agora.
Ep3
Ok fucking hell I saw the title this is gonna hurt. Last episode I could withstand it for just the couple seconds but godamnit I’m not ready for enforcer vi.
Throwing myself into the ocean I do not want vi and caitlyn to be cops. I knew cait was kinda one before too but she was fired so. Point is fikfjdkdjdksnnsns NAURRRR
Jesus Christ Caitlyn don’t you fucking turn off the air ventilation system for zaun. That’s evil. Like, she already tried using it against jinx, sure, but that’s an entirely different matter. Vi if this really does happen then you better give her shit when you find out— Nevermind she’s walking with her. Still, hoping Vi (and Caitlyn too, because she is also changing for the worse) snaps out of this soon <- knows she won’t
Fuckkk. At least the villainous song slaps.
Who tf is that mf in the pillar. Might be bait from jinx
…is Vi trying to mediate? If so, it makes sense. Vi has never seen Caitlyn act like the enforcers that put her down for so long and she doesn’t want that to happen, im sure. And despite everything, Vi is still a zaunite. Even if she may not be aware that she’s trying to mediate, this girl very much remembers what it’s like to be on the other side.
“Everyone in my life has changed. Promise me you won’t change” vi :(
NOOO FUCKINF THE VENTILATION SYSTEM. JINX GODAMNIT WAS THIS YOU. Hope I’m interpreting this wrong.
Caitlyn and Vi being concerned for the other’s changing but their own changes stopping them from truly reaching out….
Minha internet cagou justo quando a vi e a jinx tavam lutando mano não é POSSÍVEL
…this whole thing really was Jinx’s elaborate suicide plan. Also Vi protecting the child and trying to keep Cait from shooting her is such a mirror to the scene where she and Jayce fight people with hextech.
It’s just so… there are no winners in war. There are innocents in both Piltover and Zaun. And even those who don’t have their hands clean but are also victims. All this does is create more suffering. But there was no other way it could have gone now was it
“I keep telling myself that you’re different, but you’re not” nick zootopia in the head again.
Motherfucker. Well maybe she didn’t orchestrate the memorial attack (though we don’t know that yet) but she certainly did this.
“You’ve given Zaun opportunity after opportunity to right their wrongs” no you haven’t. Lmao.
Referring to CAITLYN????????? ohhhh my god
Also. Did Vi last like one(1) episode as an enforcer and stop. I don’t think that’s the case obviously but it’d be really fucking funny since we haven’t seen her here yet
YES YES I FUCKING KNEW IT SHE CAUSED THE MEMORIAL ATTACK DIDNT SHE IM RIGHT ARENT I LETS FUCKING GOOOO I DIDNT INTERPRET WRONG ANYTHING FUCKERS
…okay maybe I am a little excited for Caitlyn’s villain arc— godamnit there’s no fucking way that fuck ass doctor from s1 is still alive.
(That was awesome. But seriously though where is Vi)

thoughts on arcane season 2 (episodes 1–3)
(and maybe also a little of season 1, since I just finished watching that, too)
overall takeaway/impression was that these episodes felt a little directionless compared to season 1 (maybe it's unfair to hold them up against the first three episodes of season 1, which did such a killer job of balancing a bunch of plot lines, establishing the characters, and showing what set them all down their various roads to the present, but it's also a little hard not to compare the two)
but I also can't tell if some of that sense of chaos is intentional? like, this is a chaotic time in the narrative, everyone's dealing with the fallout of silco's death and the attack on the council, and so you have characters making more impulsive choices, as well as frustrating ones
but ALSO it feels like miscommunication is the name of the game right now? like everyone's operating under different misconceptions of what's happening. jinx attacks the council. renni attacks the memorial (unrelated to jinx's motivations) out of revenge for jayce killing her son. caitlyn takes the attack on the memorial as further proof that zaun has it out for topside (does she even know about jayce attacking the shimmer refinery?) and launches her task force with the goals of a) bringing down jinx (related to the council attack, but not the memorial attack), b) halting all shimmer production (not particularly related to either), and c) rooting out the rest of silco's allies (even though all the current violence in zaun is from that power vacuum, and sevika—and presumably the rest of silco's former crew—are mostly keeping their heads down)
I guess it's that, I don't mind if individual decisions seem frustrating or even out of character (caitlyn's relentless pursuit of vengeance; vi saying jinx can't be saved and joining the enforcers) but when you've got those moments in the middle of a larger narrative that also feels like a series of needless reactions—I don't know, the whole thing ends up feeling muddled
fortiche continues to do killer work—my god, this show does excel at its visual storytelling (not to mention how phenomenal and unique all the more stylistic, music video scenes are)
but speaking of stylism, I'm also a little disappointed by the new opening credits? like they're still beautiful, and well done, but coming off the version in s1, it seems like this is a missed opportunity to do something different (like the mv bits) as opposed to visuals that feel like they're taken right out of the show
I miss silco. it makes sense that he died, and I loved the parallel burial/baptism scene of jinx letting him go, but he was such a solid anchor in all the various plotlines, and I'm missing that (also like, god what a great character.) it really feels like ambessa could fill that niche—antagonist working toward her own ends, complicated parental dynamic, influencing caitlyn toward her more dangerous impulses—but I also just don't feel like we've seen enough of her yet
do I wish I were getting a vi/caitlyn kiss with both of them in a better emotional place? yes! am I mad at the tragedy of them sharing this moment and vi asking caitlyn not to change, only for that argument when they fight jinx and for them to immediately part ways? not at all!
although speaking of, when jayce shot and killed a child, vi's reaction was, like, "kids die all the time, you've got plenty of blood on your hands, you've just never had to confront it before" (never mind that it feels like there's a difference between negligence and pulling the trigger yourself) vs. caitlyn trying to aim at jinx when the kid (whose name I cannot remember) is on jinx's chest and vi is doing everything she can to stop caitlyn from taking the shot—like, I'm not mad that vi is trying to keep a kid from dying, but it's not like she was throwing herself in front of jace's hammer gun at the refinery. is it because she's more worried about what killing a kid would do to caitlyn? was it an excuse to protect jinx? I think either reason is believable, just thinking about it
does sevika know that jinx killed silco? does anyone know that? (like, we saw jinx tell smeech, but that was before sevika showed up and also smeech died before that scene ended.) it feels like something people would have a reaction to (particularly sevika), but no one's brought it up? but there's also been no moment of jinx or vi making a point of it being a secret that needs to be kept. again, muddled.
speaking of muddle, after the fight in the pipes, what did sevika and jinx do to topside? were they releasing gas or paint? I would've assumed gas, but the colors and then stains on the surrounding areas felt like paint — was that an actual attack, or just a stunt to show what zaun's capable of?
fascinated to see what's going on with viktor and the hexcore corruption in ekko's tree — honestly in season 1, I was less engaged in the hextech/jayce storyline, but the idea of the arcane as a force that's rebelling against overuse is very cool, and I think the heimerdinger/ekko/jayce trio dynamic is fun ("former pupil meet my new pupil" it's good it's good)
I'm sure it's a reference to the game, but I cannot begin to know what's going on with the wolf experiments. it looks like from the trailer of the next batch, we're getting a big wolfman? don't know what's the deal with that! looks bad! not sure how it fits in but excited to see!
tldr, I feel a little less satisfied and engaged with these episodes than I did with season 1. I'm still here for it, I want to see where they're going, but knowing how good this show can be, these episodes felt a little off their stride

A daughter, a sister, a jinx. Alone.
Jinx had been excited when she arrived at The Last Drop, and out of near instinctual habit found her way onto the rafters to head to Silco’s office. The last name on the To-Do List she’d been given a week or two ago had finally been taken care of, and for a moment every thing seemed normal. A man was dead, her hands once more had blood on them, metaphorically or otherwise, and she was going to get to see that proud gleam in Silco’s eyes. Her own magenta eyes gleamed with glee as she practically scampered through routes no one else knew, and before long she was looking down at Silco’s office, and that glee immediately faded.
Regardless of if Silco was, or was not dead, she certainly believed he was. For a short time that belief had been forgotten, and replaced by an anticipatory delight that brought her back to life. A time that found itself suddenly shattered as she looked down at a silent office, and remembered. Utterly still, and silent Jinx swallowed remembering The Table. Gun shots, crying, Vi, Silco, The Piltie Bitch. Pleading for forgiveness, and the only person who had ever truly accepted her giving that forgiveness. A forgiveness that meant almost nothing when he wasn’t there to reassure her, and to repeat it, and to make it mean something. It was words, and a memory that reminded her day by day of how she jinxed everyone. Those she hated, those she loved, those she didn’t care about, and even herself. After all, she was utterly alone now. No traitor sister, no father figure, no one. The silence of the office was slowly replaced by that static filling her ears, and one of the haunting voices hissing at her with grim satisfaction. ‘ThIS IS WhAT WaS AlwaYS GoING To HappEN To YoU. We EnDeD UP ALONE IN THE GRAVE, aNd You AlONE fRoM NoW UntIL YoU DiE. AlL BeCaUSE oF YoUR OWN AcTIOnS. YOUR OWN FAULT. JINX. You jinx everyone. ZaUN’S SPECIAL LittLE JiNX, aNd YoU KnoW No OnE WanT’s A JiNX ArOUNd. Jinx… isn’t it time to just give up? JuST, GIVE up. JUST. Give up. JUST. GIVE. UP. No OnE CaREs anYWaYS. NoT WiTH tHE ShARK GoNE AND Vi WONt EvER LoVE You. NoT LIKE ShE UseD To. JUST GIVE UP… or give in. BE ThaT MonSTER YoU’VE ALWAYS BEEN. YoU KILLED all of US. GiVE UP, or BuRN IT ALL DOWN, buT PICK ONE YOU…. Jinx.’
Hands slowly closing, her nails dug into the wooden rafters hard enough to leave marks that no one would ever see. Lips pulling back, not screaming was one of the hardest things she’d ever done. Suppressing the urge to burn down The Last Drop as a funeral pyre to her family was another nearly impossible thing, but she managed it all the same. If only because some part of Jinx couldn’t stand the thought of removing that proof that they’d all existed. Silco, Vi, Vander, her brothers, all of them. She’d spent most of her life here, and even if that destructive urge screamed at her to burn it down, Jinx refused. She’d already killed Silco, and refused to erase one of the few things that still reminded people of him. A long slow breath, and a slow blink as she shook her head before turning and quietly vanishing off into the shadows. It was time to go back to her workshop, and figure out what to do next.
Time to go back to her workshop, and be alone.
She wasn’t entirely sure which was worse.
Utterly alone, or the voices. Screaming.

This is my first tumblr post cuz like two people on tiktok asked me to make a tumblr for my arcane analyses so I made one!!!! Anyways i’m gonna copy and paste an analysis I made on tiktok for first post w/ some images for fun!!!!:
I have been wrestling with what Jinx sitting in the Jinx chair truly represents, or rather where Jinx truly “becomes” Jinx because I don’t think it’s the Jinx chair. There’s a hesitation when she says, “even though I’m… different.” It’s almost as if she’s still unsure (or can’t bring herself to admit it, which still works in my analysis; why can’t she admit something so small and kind of so obvious when she just sat in the jinx chair, a supposed declaration of who she is?). Why is she still unsure? Silco’s gone, her relationship with Vi is pretty much irreparable, what is there left to question? The closest answer that I could come up with is that Jinx sitting in the Jinx chair is simply the signal to Vi that their relationship is over, it barely confirms anything about Jinx’s identity. At this time, she isn’t Powder, she isn’t really Jinx, and she’s definitely not Vi’s sister.
Going back a bit, the entire tea party scene is defined by Jinx coming to the realization that Vi and Silco are the same (can be debated whether they actually are, but to her this is true. This also echoes the idea that everything Jinx says/thinks is the opposite of the truth, which I can go into in another post).
At this point in both relationships, Vi and Silco have made her feel manipulated, lied to, betrayed, they’ve both sided with topside, but they’ve also made her feel loved and affirmed (keep in mind affirmation), and both of them are her family. Jinx testing Vi by asking her to kill Cait is Jinx asking, "what is going to set these two people apart (Vi and Silco) who have so far hurt me in very similar ways? Who is going to finally choose me?" Jinx is desperately grasping for an answer to these questions; the answer is going to tell her who to be, what to do, who to believe, as she is completely lost at this point. When she knocks Cait out, the audience is thrust into this idea; the yearning for an answer and the equality of Vi and Silco:
The differentiation comes from Silco’s dying words, “You’re perfect.” Of course, Jinx killing Silco was a mistake, unlike her previously calculated tests, but it also gave her the affirmation that she desperately needed. Powder isn’t perfect, “Jinx” isn’t perfect, who Jinx is presently is perfect. Despite everything, “you’re perfect.” (remember what I said about Jinx not being anyone in the Jinx chair? This is partly why, coupled with the strenuous nature of the entire tea party and how fast everything happened). Vi couldn’t give that to her even if she wanted to. By Silcos death, both him and Vi had equal marks of evil and good (according to Jinx), but this love of who she is over who she can be is what made him different, and ultimately made him worthy of her choice (although obviously too late).
The most interesting thing about this is that Jinx gave Vi the same (figurative) end as silco, even more highlighting that affirmation. No, she didn't physically kill vi, but she forever severed their relationship and killed the view of Vi she’s had up until this point, of that sisterhood. She sits in the Jinx chair not because she knows she’s Jinx but to say, “I may have saved you (Vi) from Silco, but I won’t let you live. You are just as dead to me as he is.” She's now killed both because of an overwhelming love for both; a love that was killing her. (also nuanced bc physically Vi and Silco couldn’t be more opposite, Silco dead but his relationship with Jinx more connected than ever before, and Vi alive, but their relationship as bad as it could get). Jinx sitting in the Jinx chair is the official end of these relationships, not the official beginning of Jinx.
So, what does solidify her as Jinx? The rocket! Jinx firing the rocket wasn’t just a final exclamation of love for Silco, it was an exclamation of hate, rebellion, and resentment towards Silco, just as it was an exclamation of love for Vi. She aims the rocket at Topside because Topside has taken these two people who she loves away from her, she’s still remembering how both of them “chose” Topside over her. She’s grieving these two family members and accepting the fact that she is alone. This isolation and the removal of the choas of Vi and Silco is what makes her Jinx. Now, this is a little confusing because Jinx *is* chaos, how is her finally becoming Jinx symbolized through the absence of chaos? (let me tell you I was so pumped when I pieced this together) In the scene, every other chaotic, loud character is caught in calmness. Vi is “gone”, Silco is dead, Sevika is lying on a couch, Ambessa (arguably the most bombastic, loud character) is calmly looking at Mel’s art, the council is quiet in agreement, Ekko and Heimerdinger are chilling, Jinx’s visions are no longer there, Cait is screaming but it’s silenced.
You could simply attribute this to the technical aspect that the rocket is loud, and that it wouldn’t make sense to take away from this big act, but the more effective answer for this chaos question is simply: Jinx is chaos. The loudness of her screams and the rocket amongst everyone else’s silence is her absorbing the chaos of the rest of the show. She no longer needs chaos to surround her because Jinx is chaos. The feelings brought forth by the Jinx chair vs. the rocket, for me, confirm this conclusion. The Jinx chair was defined by feelings of loss, grief, pain, those that don’t align with newfound identity but rather the loss of loved ones. The rocket provides those feelings of relief and happiness that I was looking for previously, even in the face of such a horrendous act. The rocket confirms Jinx as Jinx, and the fight between her and this identity question that has pained and loomed over her for the entire show is over.
Reading this over again it feels kind of obvious but lemme know what you guys think!! There’s always more to talk about with this show which is why I love it sm. Thanks for reading!!!

Fluffcember Day 10: Hot Chocolate
Well, today the prompt is in the title. Hot Cocoa.
Fandom: Arcane - League of Legends
Shipping: Caitlyn/Vi
Genre: Wholesome Fluff
Length: 1062 words
[Ao3 Link]
It was strange to not be the one awakened by nightmares. At least not her own. It was Caitlyn, who had started stirring, sweating, mumbling stuff in her sleep. Vi knew this too well, as Powder once had done much the same in that first year after their parents had died.
She had gotten awakened by Cait's knee in her kidney, but she did not hold it against her. For a moment she watched her girlfriend, before softly taking her by the shoulders. “Hey! Hey, Cupcake,” she whispered, shaking her gently. “Cupcake. Wake up. It's just a nightmare.” And while Caitlyn's eyelids were flattering, she was still not quite waking up. “Cupcake.” Vi sighed. “Caitlyn. Cait. Wake up.”
Suddenly those eyes ware opened, staring at her. Caitlyn sat up, breathless. She hid her face in her hands, trying to regain control over her body.
Vi just skuttled closer, putting one arm around her. “You wanna talk about it?” she asked after a while.
Her eyes closed Caitlyn took a few very controlled breaths. “I just remembered…” Her expression was almost guilty, as she shook her head.
Of course Vi understood. She had dreamed about Jinx. About Vi's own sister kidnapping her, binding her, before killing first Silco – then Caitlyn's own mother.
Vi was all-too familiar with nightmares. So many nights in Stillwater they had haunted her. The faces of Mylo, Claggor and Vander. The faces of those killed in front of her. Memories of other things to. Things that only happened after she had arrived in Stillwater. As well as fears that were not routed in reality.
She softly caressed her girlfriend's shoulder, before sighing. “Come, get up.” She skuttled over to the edge of the bed herself.
Without much understanding Caitlyn looked at her. “What?”
“If you go back to sleep now, the nightmare will just be there waiting for you,” Vi replied. She shot her a soft smile. “C'mon.”
Even though Caitlyn looked pale and oh so tired, she slowly nodded and got up as well. She was wearing a fine night gown – as was Vi, though it still felt wrong to her. Her entire life she had never had any other nightmare but some worn to bits tops.
“You know,” Vi muttered, as she took Caitlyn's hand, “when we were kids Powder always struggled with nightmares.” She shot her a soft smile, as she led her down the wide corridors of this ridiculously large house.
“Where are we going?” Caitlyn asked.
“Kitchen.” They had almost reached it and when they did, Vi turned on the light, awakening the room to life. “You know, when Powder would wake up, we would often sneak into the pub.” She opened to fridge door.
“And then?”
“Sooner or later Vander would notice us,” she replied, as she got out the milk from the fridge. She was sure there was some cocoa in this kitchen as well, as Caitlyn's dad had once made hot cocoa for them. After opening almost all the kitchen cabinets, she found was she was looking for: Cocoa powder and sugar. “Then Vander would take Powder and sit her on the bar, heating up some milk for both of us.”
Unsure of herself Caitlyn had sat down on one of the kitchen chairs, watching her. “I…” She hesitated, unsure how to finish that sentence. “I wish I had gotten to known him. Your Vander.”
Smiling to herself, Vi poured some milk into a pot and put it onto the stove. “You might've liked him,” she said. “He… He wanted the best for people.” She shook her head, as she by now understood, that his methods going about it had been so very much ill-fated. He had just wanted everyone to feel save, had tried to quell the conflict between upside and down by peaceful means. But it had not worked out in the end. In fact it might have only made things worse.
She sighed. She still missed him. She missed being held in those strong arms, allowed to cry. In the end he had been very much her father. There was no doubt about it. Not by blood, but by choice.
The milk was only heating up slowly and maybe Caitlyn understood what was going on in Vi's head, as she got up once more. She came over, putting her arms around Vi from behind, leaning her own forehead against Vi's hair, that was probably still messy from the sleep.
Maybe there were really no words for this. For what they were sharing here. At times it still felt wrong to wake up in this house. But what other place was there for Vi? And she wanted to be with her at least. She wanted to be hugged by her, to hug her in return. She just wanted to share those soft touches and kisses from time to time.
Finally, the milk was getting hot, almost reaching the boiling point, just as Vi took it from the heat. She put three large spoons of the cocoa powder in, as well as some sugar, before stirring with the spoon. Even with the hot milk it took some time for the powder to dissolve, but finally the mixture was done. It smelled so good, deep, nutty, flavorful.
Only now she turned around to Caitlyn to return the hug. Unable to resist she ran her fingers through Caitlyn's long and silky hair, before kissing her cheek. “Sit down,” she finally said, as she freed herself from the embrace. Getting two mugs she filled them with the hot cocoa, before inspecting the fridge once again. Indeed she had not erred: There was still some whipped cream Caitlyn's father had made for them in the evening. Putting a dollop of the cream onto the liquid in each mug, she finished everything up with a single cookie for each of them.
With a soft smile she brought the first mug over to Cailyn, who shook her head. “You can be really sweet, you know that?”
Vi shrugged, before joining her with the mug of her own. “A big sister needs to know how to do this stuff,” she replied. She stretched out her hand to brush a single strand of Caitlyn's own messy bed hair behind her ear. Only then she sat down. “Drink it, as long as it's hot,” she said. “It will help.”

arcane characters taking care of you when you're sick.
slight modern au. characters include: jinx, vi, caitlyn, viktor, and sevika. (more will probably be added as time goes on, but i like these guys)
ₓₒ jinx. ₓₒ
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ if you get hurt/ill in any way she usually wants to kill whoever did it.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ but when you're actually sick, like flu sick, she has no reason to hurt anyone. so instead resorts to literally never leaving you alone
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ if you need tylenol, a heating pad, more tissues, more blankets, she still won't leave you. sevika can get it. what would she do about it? protest?
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ literally doesn't give a single damn about her work, getting sick herself, or whatever else silco tries to push. you are her number one priority. number one as in #1-#100 on her priorities list
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ you want for nothing.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ affection: she'll never let you go, she'll caress your hair and whisper to you (could be sweet things, could be innuendos, could be just like 'idc if you got sick because you forgot to take care of yourself, someone is still gonna die.)
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ she'll also just talk to you about anything and everything. when you speak she is heavily attentive.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ food: gets you whatever you want. no matter how many coins she has to give up, it's worth it for you. even when you shouldn't eat, jinx has a hard time saying no to you. like
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ "i s'pose one thing won't do ya much harm, toots. waitwaitwait- no! you can't eat! i can't give you anything, alright?"
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ breaks her heart to tell you no so she just doesnt look at you when she says it. anyway
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ time alone: i mean jinx'll go somewhere you can't see her, but no matter what, her eyes are on you. (not that that's any different than normal). she'll be damned if something ever happens to you while she's away for just a few minutes.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ watches over you while you sleep.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ once again, some things just never change
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ but you look like an angel when you're asleep, how could she not???
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ you're always just like "jinx, i'm fine, i don't feel sick" but she can tell when something is up. you have no choice but to accept her heavenly hospitality
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and for like at least three days after your temp comes back normal, she'll let you return to business as normal, but is constantly around you to be sure you don't get worse or get sick again. extra overprotective during those times, in all honestly.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ if anyone even dares to get near you, they will receive the death glare of their life.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ god forbid they touch you
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and you will get the most amount of cuddles feckin' ever
ₓₒ vi. ₓₒ
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ scared to do anything at first, in all honesty
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ like, not only because she could get sick and doesn't want to get sick and need help, but it feels like any wrong move would make you get worse
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ usually consults someone before doing absolutely anything.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ hhahh- i picture her texting/calling cait at 6 in the morning like 'hey uh my s/o is sick what do i do'
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ she just has to be sure!!
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ but once she's confident that whatever she's doing isn't also detrimental to your health, she's such a loving caretaker omg
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ she'll tell you jokes and stories, anything to get that cute smile back
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ speaking of cute, vi will constantly. constantly compliment you
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ whether it's literally directly flirting with you or slipping in a just "you know, cutie, i remember this..."
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ tries to stay awake with you, or read to you to help you sleep. usually ends up falling asleep on the chair beside you. sometimes you'll wake up to her slouched backward, sometimes to her bent over and snoozing on the bed beside you
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and not wanting her to injure her back, you wake her up
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ (and maybe invite her into the bed so she can sleep properly)
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ once you start joking back with vi again, she knows you're getting better. something about your jokes is just a little different when you're ill, and so once you're back to your normal muses, she just gets so bubbly and happy
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ omg im gonna cry
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and when you get really bad, like body aches and throwing up bad, your wish is her command. anything under the sun you could possibly want, is yours.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ probably consulted a doctor the moment you started sneezing, but will do it as often as necessary to be sure her cupcake is okay
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ still endlessly cautious, but also still affectionate and loving
ₓₒ caitlyn. ₓₒ
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ encyclopedic knowledge of flus, colds, and other seasonal ills. also encyclopedic knowledge of how to care for someone with said ills
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ very no bullshit. "i'm sorry, darling, but you're sick. you can't. there's no two ways about it."
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ still apologizes with stories and affection, and eventually, food, once you're all better. makes up for what you couldn't eat, definitely
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ hums lullabies to help you fall asleep dont @ me
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ sometimes they're established lullabies, and sometimes she just makes them up as she goes along. you try to hum along and harmonize, but when your voice is hoarse, it's hard
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ she still absolutely treasures it, though
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and you two share a laugh when you completely misread where the tune is going
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ strokes your hair gently and gives you butterfly kisses
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ tries to include you in the day-to-day even when you aren't doing your best. seeks your advice on things you know better, converses with you about the day's happenings, always tries to include you in things
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ has the most comfortable pajamas for you.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ on that note, helps you get changed, helps you bathe, makes sure you keep up on your hygeine and will drag you to the bath if you try to resist
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ her touch is so gentle. like damn. like vi is just scared to hurt you more; cait knows she won't, but still handles you like you're made of glass
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ gets a little flustered when you thank her. i mean, she kind of expects it, but seeing you saying it so gratefully and almost sheepishly, she melts
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ sprinkles your face with kisses every hour when you're no longer contagious. not sorry
ₓₒ viktor. ₓₒ
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ gets sick pretty often and you're usually the one who takes care of him, so he gladly returns the favor
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ but you're what's known as "i work until i drop", so he has to bribe or drag you away from your desk to get you to sleep.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ but once you're in that bed, you're not leaving until you're better. it sounds like a prison sentence, but with viktor, it's more like a pleasant hospital stay where the nurse is also your lover
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ sounds like a porno movie. Anyway
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ has the knowledge of when and what you should eat/drink, and like an alarm clock, he always gently knocks on the door and enters with some water or food
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ sits and talks with you a lot. lighthearted jokes, the occasional caress of your cheek and 'i love you's included. also reads to you, or lets you read something on your own
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ a little protective. probably doesn't let anyone see you, so that they won't get sick and so they don't have the chance to mess with your health. and if someone talks about you, saying anything other than 'i hope they're well' or something akin, he may or may not read them to hell.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ im sorry ive just been incredibly gay recently
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ whenever you say something to insult yourself he immediately comes out with a dissertation on why you're the smartest, most attractive, most incredible person on each. this does not change, except he's a little gentler with it
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and the way your voice trembles when you thank him, he hugs you and does not let you go.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ you're usually more emotional when sick, but he is patient and loving all the same. this is not a surprise
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ more petnames than usual. probably because you're always in privacy
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and once you're better, he surprises you with your favorite food or something small like that. always with the most cheerful grin and a cute "i got you something~"
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ "can i pay you back this time?"
"i'm your boyfriend, love. it's my job. i wouldn't give it up for the world."
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ makes fun of you for getting sick
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ nah but fr, a little bit teasing about it. like "you need some medicine baby?" in a condescending tone. and when you get flustered, she just laughs and ruffles your hair and apologizes
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ if you ever try and do something for yourself when you're super sick, she's just "oh no no no, you lay right back down, sweetheart. now what do you need, i'll get it for you."
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ just lowkey doesn't allow anybody to see you. you're physically weak, you're a little sensitive, she'll be damned if someone messes up your day when you're sick. possessive but she's sevika
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ diverse knowledge of healthy, hearty foods to help you get better faster. viktor has solyanka, sevika has kanji payar.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ does not leave you alone until you eat and drink all you need. will stand by you, arms crossed, brow raised, when you refuse to eat until you start eating. a little impatient, but her impatience outweighs your stubbornness.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ definitely softer when you're sick. of course, she's still sevika, but is more affectionate and kind and careful with you. she knows you're tough, but you're not at 100%, and that's okay
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ not the type to read aloud, but i feel like she's the type to be filled with campfire stories of all types. so she tells you tales, sometimes those of historic legends, sometimes spooky stuff (by your request, and she's always just like "babe are you sure"), sometimes heartwarming stuff (once again by your request, to which she responds "i don't even know how we're together")
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ you wake up a lot when you're sick. whether it's because you need the bathroom, water, or you just wake up randomly and get really annoyed, sevika is always close. sleeping in the room, in the room next door, wherever it may be.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ and she is always happy to help you. may be a little annoyed you woke her up at 2:36 during a cold night, but for you, it's whatever
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ sometimes, when you wake her up, you both just stay awake. you're itching to move around, so you do some laps around the place- slowly and steadily- and neither of you rush to fill the comfortable silence.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ then she lays you back down to sleep. usually falls asleep in the room.
-ˏˋ♥̩͙ you ask to pay her back and she responds cheekily. i will not write what she says because it is not appropriate for this blog

Quirks Arcane Characters Have Pt.2
A/N: I am fresh out of ideas but I wanted to give y’all something today so here’s this. Also, I’m working on a kinda long Viktor x reader fic rn so stay tuned for that! I might put out a preview for it tomorrow depending on how much more I get done. Anyways, enjoy!
Viktor
- Has a raging sweet tooth
- one of your cupboards is dedicated to his stash of sweets
- You’re the only one who’s allowed to steal from it
- Also, this man can put away food like it’s nothing
- Like, you would never guess just looking at him, but he can eat
- If you cook/bake as a hobby, he will gladly try anything you make.
- Will eat your food 100% of the time
- It does not matter if it tastes good or not. If you make it, he will eat it.
- He steals your clothes
- He says it’s because his are in the laundry but it’s actually because they smell like you
- Dw though cause he’ll give you his to make up for it :)
Jayce
- leaves his laundry all over the bedroom
- He doesn’t do it on purpose, but it can be so annoying lmao
- does a little happy dance whenever something goes his way.
- Sometimes it’s just a little fist pump, other times it’ll be, like, a little jig
- It depends on how big the success is
- Has a dream journal
- I will not explain myself on that one
Silco
- Doesn’t like sweet things very much
- If a food is too sweet, it actually makes him nauseous
- Cannot stand when you twist around to crack your back
- He actually gags
- He keeps all of the drawings Jinx makes for him on the fridge like the proud dad he is
Vi
- Drums random beats with her fingers when she’s bored
- does it on any surface that’s available
- Willing to fight anything that looks at you the wrong way
- Doesn’t mean she will, but she is ready to at the drop of a hat
- Physically incapable of remembering to make the bed
- Will do it with you when you ask her, but always forgets otherwise
- Her logic is that she’s gonna mess it up at the end of the day anyway (I mean, same, honestly-)
Jinx
- terrified of spiders
- Will not admit it though
You, running into the room after hearing a scream and several objects being knocked over: wHAT? WHAT HAPPENED??
Jinx, standing on a chair looking like a deer in the headlights: I-... um...
- you look at where she keeps glancing and spot the issue
You: ... You screamed bloody murder... because of a spider.
Jinx: wH- NO! ARACHNOPHOBIA’S FOR WHIMPS-
- You’re gonna have to kill the spider for her
- which is gonna suck if you’re also scared of spiders but like
- she’s not gonna do it so-
Mel
- Unlike Vi, she has to make the bed in the morning
- She feels like it makes the room look too messy
- Has so many pillows
- The queen at comebacks
- Unafraid to roast the fuck out of someone given the correct circumstances
- If someone ever makes a snide comment about you, she will make them regret every decision they’ve made that’s lead them up to this moment
- Makes you little paintings every so often just to show you that she’s thinking of you

arcane au you say? :eyes:
Well, not a full AU, but more like "ideas for what an AU could look like while keeping the characters true to who they are, rather than forcing them to fit the characters from the show."
Like for instance . . . Sonic does have some things in common with Vi, and Tails does have some things in common with Powder. But while I can see some exchanges between Vi and Power working between Sonic and Tails (e.g. I could see Tails' borrowing Powder's line: "Just that you were 'twice the person at half my age'. You heard them, I'm not a fighter"; as well as Sonic borrowing Vi's, "What makes you different makes you strong. Remember that"), I can't see their relationship breaking apart in the same way that Vi's and Powder's did at the end of episode three. It's probably my unbreakable bond bias speaking, but—actually, no, you know what? It's not, because I didn't come up with "unbreakable bond" for them. Sega came up with that. It's their team-up name in Sonic Advance 3. Sonic and Tails literally have an unbreakable bond, so I just can't see their relationship fracturing or falling apart like Vi's and Powder's did in Arcane. It just doesn't work, on numerous levels:
1.) Tails' inventions work. RIP to Powder, but he's different. So already, there's a critical difference in how the story would play out.
2.) Unless he was mind controlled or otherwise out of control of his own body, I really cannot see Sonic hitting Tails. I definitely can't see him continuing to manhandle Tails as Tails sobs and cowers and pleads with him to stop. Not only is Sonic a pretty private person with his more painful emotions (this is why Sega says he can't cry), but even in a situation where some of Tails' tech malfunctioned or was used against them, and their other friends died . . . seeing Tails breaking down into hysterics over what happened would quell Sonic's own rage. Yeah, of course he'd feel some kind of way about it. He might bench Tails for a while. But he wouldn't smack him, wouldn't manhandle him, wouldn't scream at him, wouldn't storm off and leave Tails screaming and crying after him. That's just not who Sonic is.
So already, the thing that separates the two before the timeskip would have to be different. To keep it in-character, I think it would make much more sense for there to be an intense situation, perhaps a face-off against Eggman or something. The situation is really bad, they're being overwhelmed, maybe a few of their friends have already been killed. And Sonic, because he always makes Tails' safety a priority, shoves Tails out of a window or something to get him out of the proximity of the danger. And then, before Tails can get back in there to help Sonic escape, the building explodes and Tails is made to believe that Sonic perished in the explosion.
(Sonic didn't. Instead, he was captured by Eggman and imprisoned for the next five or six years. But Tails doesn't know that.)
And then that brings us to the next change. Because while Eggman would still be the big bad in this, I can't see any scenario where he takes in and genuinely comes to love Tails. And that's a pretty big thing for Silco and Powder/Jinx; Silco saw himself in the little girl sobbing over her feelings of betrayal by a sibling, which is why he took her in. And he truly came to love her as his daughter. It wasn't a ploy, or an act. He really loved her. But Eggman only loves himself and I can't see that changing / don't want to drastically change the characters for an AU to work. So although he's still the primary villain in the story, he can't be the Silco equivalent when it comes to the brothers.
But you know who could? Shadow.
Because in this scenario, Tails wasn't abandoned; instead, his big brother sent him away from the danger, and then was killed basically right in front of him (or so Tails thinks). And what do you know, but the same thing basically happened to Shadow. His older sister-figure, Maria, sent him away from the danger, and then was gunned down herself as a result. It's something that, in canon, fucks him up to this day, to the point where in the Twitter Takeovers not even Eggman will taunt Shadow with it. So in this case, when Tails is sobbing his heart out in the street because he thinks that Sonic just got blown to pieces while he, Tails, could do nothing but watch, well . . .
Shadow: "You're a heartbroken younger sibling whose older sibling died in front of you in an effort to protect you?"
So in this scenario, perhaps Shadow knew Sonic and Tails a little before this, and so he still asks Tails where his brother is. And Tails, like Powder, launches himself at Shadow, still sobbing, and says that his brother died, he's dead and Tails could do nothing, because Sonic sent him away before he could help. And Shadow remembers the this-AU-version of how Maria died, and so he slowly hugs Tails back, and Silco's line changes just enough so that it's:
"It's okay. We'll avenge them. We'll avenge them both."
And that's how he adopts Tails as his new little brother and teaches him such things as "revenge feels awesome" and "murder is okay."
Sonic's in for a big surprise when he gets busted out of jail, let me tell you.
#anonymous#sonic arcane au#miles tails prower#sonic the hedgehog#unbreakable bond#shadow the hedgehog#Tails: ''Things changed when you left. *I* changed.''#Sonic: ''I know Tails - I know. You did what you had to do to survive. Me too. All that matters now is we're together.''#[five minutes later]#Sonic: [horrified] ''Tails!!''#Tails: [having just gunned down some fuckers] ''I told you things changed!!!''#(that said - again I can't see it leading to a dinner party / Monster You Created situation)#(that's just taking it too far for them)#(plus Tails doesn't have the mental illnesses that Powder/Jinx has - & yes she was sick even before the incident)#(so the whole thing would play out differently but. still. a Tails-raised-by-Shadow would be willing to shoot to kill I think)#(and Sonic would Not Like That)#sth

Watching Caitlyn those shimmer fueled eyes narrowed for a second studying the other woman trying to decide if she could trust what Caitlyn said. As the sister-stealer fancy Piltie detective said it was the copycat Jinx couldn’t help but relax a touch, but her gaze stayed on Caitlyn until she was reassured that Vi wouldn’t be told she’d done this thing. A slow little nod, and Jinx softly spoke as she actually slid Zapper into it’s holster. “Alright. Okay. Good.” A strand of gentle relief hit Jinx for the simple reason a part of her still wanted Vi back. She wanted her sister back, the sister that accepted and loved her. Even Jinx could understand though that children killed painfully, and for no reason would make it near impossible for Vi to ever so much as look at her again.
That’s why she didn’t pick you Jinx. You’re a child killer just as much as this copy cat. Whoever it is knows you far better than Caitlyn does. She’s willing to believe you didn’t do this BUT YOU WOULD. YoU DID WhEN YoU KillED US JiNX WhEN YoU KillED MyLO AND ClaGGOR AnD… LOOK AT THAT CHILD THAT COULD HAVE BEEN VI! YOU KNOW YOU AREN’T ANY BETTER AND THAT’S WHY VI WILL NEVER PICK YOU! NEVER! YOU ARE A MONSTER AND YOU WERE BORN IN FIRE AND BLOOD AND BLUE WAVES THAT KILLED YOUR FAMILY!
Somehow the red haired girl seemed to look like Vi for just a second with her eyes closed, and that made Jinx go stone still as her sisters face swam in front of her eyes. Her voice rolled out a soft protesting thing half under her breath. “I don’t… I didn’t.” Don’t kill children like this. Didn’t mean to kill her family.
She’d just wanted to help.
For no reason anyone else would understand Jinx felt a spike of guilt slide through her. The voices, her own twisted mind, that red haired young girl all coming together to torment her. “As though you don’t hate me as well.” Jinx was brought back quickly enough, this time, by the sound of her name falling from the lips of a woman she did in fact hate. Swallowing she turned her head not wanting to look at vi fallen and broken the red haired girl anymore, and instead studied Caitlyn.
“I like the idea of him in pain, and than dying.” Zaun would always be a violent place, and yet this offended Jinx all the same. Perhaps because some part of her remembered Silco’s lessons about a Free Nation of Zaun, and how it’s sons and daughters deserved better. Maybe just because someone was posing as her. Regardless she wanted the copycat dealt with. “I don’t need you.” The idea of “needing” Caitlyn was enough to make Jinx want to cut the other woman’s hands off, and see how well she could handle her precious rifle after that. All the same Caitlyn was good at what she did. That was one of the reasons Jinx wasn’t bored yet of the game. “But, if I want to hurt this copycat do have to find him first.” She could find him herself of course. Given time. She certainly had reason now. However she wasn’t so lost in hatred not to realize it would be faster if Caitlyn was there to help.
About to answer she was interrupted by a woman slowly coming out of the cafe. “J...Jinx...You're... you're Jinx, Right?… Please, I don’t. I don’t know what happened here, but… I just. I just want my daughter? Can, can I take my daughter? Please?” The woman was your average Zaunite with nothing remarkable about her except for the obvious grief in her eyes, and the nervousness at approaching the loose cannon of Zaun. Jinx met her eyes for a moment before rising up, and taking a step back. For once she wasn’t pleased by someones nervousness, but rather than making a big deal out of it she motioned towards the girls body. “Unless Caitlyn here has something to say about it. Go ahead.” Jinx didn’t care what evidence there might be.
Family didn’t leave family behind. She should be with her family.
Looking towards Caitlyn her lips tightened for a moment before she took a breath. “How do I know you aren’t just going to try to put me into a cage at the end of this? If we worked together I mean. Hypothetically.”
The Crime scene had given her everything she needed, and a few words from some who were willing to talk to her. Notes were taken down, her journal tucked safely into her bag as she met up at Limelight to talk with one of her informants at the food stall. Each hour she spent trying to pick up what she had, but at one point she came to a blockade in her investigation. This is the part she hated when she didn't know where the next strike might be. It left the concern of who would be hurt, and who might die. Jinx might be willing to let some people die but she wasn't. However, she had enough information to perhaps triangulate another attack. She thought back to the first attack that happened. Both had in some way a connection to Jinx as well as locations near her. She needed more but it would not come from the she-devil, and that made tracking down the copycat harder.
She was able to find out a few more clues when she heard about the second attack. Immediately, her feet spurred forward after spending her time in the lands in search of more information. Smoke billowed around the building, as she put her arm up against her nose coughing from the dirty air. Coming in front of it, she looked up to see the hanging sign barely clinging to the building, and the name of the shop on it. All the neon lights were destroyed, and glass shattered around the ground as she carefully stepped around it. As she ducked underneath some wood and metal, she spotted the blue hair and froze for a moment. It wasn't the hair, though, that cause her feet to still.
It was the ache in her chest that slammed her by surprise. The burning rage was evident, but there was more behind it. Swirling within her rage of the tsunami lingered the expression of guilt. Caitlyn didn't know quite how to place it at first, it was not a feeling she had ever sensed before from Jinx. Often, she felt the exhilaration from Jinx, excitement, and rage. But this was different, and it stunned her into silence.
Her eyes scanned the room, hating the death she witness. It wasn't just adults this time, there next to Jinx was a child, and a second one not too far from the other. The blood was still wet on the ground, and the eyes looked scared. The child suffered, and Caitlyn's bottom lip slightly tremored at the senseless death. "Jinx, I know you didn't do this," How odd, to say those words, to let Jinx of all people know she knew. "It's the copycat," Caitlyn explained, making it clear she knew this was another attack by the maniac.
Fear. She dropped down to a crouch and looked toward Jinx and knew she had to remind the other that she wasn't going to blame her for something she didn't do. Yes, she had things to answer for, but this wasn't it. "I won't tell Vi because you had no part in this. You didn't kill these people. I believe you, I know you didn't," Slowly she turned to look at the little red-headed child and reached over to close her eyes, and took a breath.
"Jinx, I know you hate me, but I…" Her lips pushed together, as she glanced down and felt the anguish of these deaths on her shoulders. "I need you to work with me. Help me find this lunatic so that he doesn't kill anyone else again. I have the clues and I can piece things together, but there are things I don't know. I don't know Zaun as you do. If we find him, he can be put behind bars," Caitlyn whispered, not sure how she would even react to such a suggestion. Work together? It seemed impossible, but this had become more than just blowing up buildings.
What a twist, to have to work with a person she feared, and yet, her enemy might be her best partner in this. They both had a common enemy in this and if they didn't do something he could continue to devastate the Lanes and perhaps expand to other regions of Zaun.

Black Feathers – Lacuna Coil (I'm sooo in love with the last minute of this song)
Actually, Sevika was usually more like a tool, she carried out orders, let herself be led and subordinated to Silco. Since you left him, however, Silco was only a shadow of his former self. He fluctuated between extreme irritability and complete apathy, business slipping. Her boss suffered agonies she could barely comprehend and she hated to see him like that. Sevika often reached out to him without being asked, took some things into her own hands and he let it happen. Without her help, most of his businesses would have gone down the drain by now.
For a moment Sevika thought, if she hadn't told him that you were with Jinx, he would never have found out, then maybe the situation would be different. Then maybe he would have recovered after a few days. She couldn't say for sure, but as things stood now, circumstances were hanging in the balance, unfinished, unresolved, and it was gnawing at him.
Silco couldn't concentrate, for days you had disappeared, no one had seen you and the worry was driving him crazy. He never expected it, but being without you was almost unbearable. When you left, you had taken a part of him with you that he just couldn't function properly without. He hated unresolved things and he wanted you back. But even if he knew where you were, how could he approach you without scaring you off? How could he talk to you if you didn't want him to? But that was the least of his problems, because if you decided to actually listen to him, what would he say to you? He knew what he wanted to say, but he doubted that it would have the desired effect.
Silco found a waking moment and gave himself a mental ass-kicking, went to shower, put on fresh clothes, shaved, used aftershave. When he was about to put the bottle down again, he paused in his movement. You liked this aftershave very much, every time he used it sooner or later you clung to him to sniff and snuggle up to him. He saw it in his mind's eye and a sad smile played around the corners of his mouth. He would never have admitted it, not in front of you or anyone else, but at some point he had used it solely for that reason, when he craved your closeness and didn't want to ask for it, he had simply used that aftershave and attracted you like a moth to a flame. Each time you came to him, sat down on his lap at his desk, or snuggled up to him on the armchair, lay down in bed with him.Not infrequently, these situations ended with you making love and the thought evoked a tingling sensation that died away in the core, because shortly afterwards, Silco remembered that you were no longer with him.
When he left the office and walked past Sevika, she didn't ask any questions, she was just happy that he finally left his premises voluntarily for the first time in a long time. But when she followed him at some distance to keep an eye on him, he stopped, turned around and said with a sigh, "I want to be alone. You don't have to follow me."
Sevika reluctantly followed this request. Who knew what was going on inside him right now and what he was thinking of doing.
But she obeyed and watched him walk away.
Silco had decided to drop by Jinx's place, he hadn't seen her for days either, maybe he could console himself a little with his daughter's presence.
When he entered her realm, she was sitting at her table and drawing something. To his surprise, there was no loud music playing, everything was so quiet. When she heard his footsteps, she spun around, put down her pencil and stood up.
He smiled at her, but her look remained serious. A little surprised, he finally stopped in front of her.
"Nice of you to show up, too," she said dryly.
"I'm sorry. I've been... busy."
"Busy with what? Sulking?" she sneered.
When he looked at Jinx questioningly, and in surprise, she added, "Heard Y/N took off."
He gulped.
"By who?"
"Well by herself," Jinx replied dryly, stepping aside and pointing behind her.
There you were, curled up on a camp of masses of pillows, blankets and stuffed animals that Jinx had built for you, as a rest camp, as she called it.
The girl raised her finger to her lips and said, "Keep it down, she's sleeping. Been awake for three days straight, couldn't sleep. Earlier, she practically fainted into sleep. Has been a very restless sleeper so far. Nightmares I guess."
Silco felt his insides knot up, he guessed what you were dreaming about.
"Did she tell you what-"
"She didn't have to" Jinx interrupted him "Whenever I mentioned your name she collapsed and started crying. So we just stopped talking about you."
It felt like he had swallowed a thick stone. The look Jinx gave him was reproachful.
"It was a misunderstanding.... I..."
"I know you love her. No one knows you like I do, I saw it in your face a long time ago. Well, if you want to make things right with her, I have to tell you, honestly I don't see how."
Surprised and questioning, Silco sought his daughter's gaze.
"You took care of her?" he wanted to know.
Jinx nodded, "Of course. She's my friend, she's always there for me, so I'm there for her, that's how it works."
He smiled softly, the thought of the bond between you two, warmed his aching heart.
"That was very kind of you"
Jinx wanted to go because she needed to get some things for her next project. She told him he could stay here and take care of you, but only if he kept his hands off you and left when you asked him to.
He didn't want to argue with Jinx so he agreed and finally watched her leave.
Now he was alone with you.
He walked as quietly as he could over to your camp and sat down on a chair some distance away to watch you sleep. Silco's gaze fell on your neck, the dark marks still visible. It seemed to him like the memory of a bad dream, but unfortunately it was all too real.
He watched your steady breathing, the way your chest rose and fell, the way your eyelids fluttered in deep sleep. Every now and then he heard you mumble a few words, but he couldn't understand them. Silco got up from his chair and went much closer because he wanted to understand what you were saying.
In your dream it was dark, a few noises, a song you had often heard in Jinx premises rang in your memory. Quietly you sang the refrain: " Black feathers in the storm ...Where will we fall? Will we ever be home?..."
A smell distracted you, made you fall silent. Your heart beat fast, warmth and cold seized you at the same time as you recognized the smell, the aftershave.
"Silco," you murmured, startled half asleep as your eyes slowly opened.
You saw him in front of you, his face, and when you looked at him he seemed to recoil a little, as if you had startled him. At first you were not sure if you were still dreaming, but little by little you realized that he had found you, he was really here. Of course, you had expected it sooner or later. Staying with Jinx wasn't exactly a brilliant hiding place, although it did give you a few days of peace.
Heart pounding wildly, you straightened up into a sitting position, not taking your eyes off him for a second.
"Hello little flower," he spoke so softly with an expression that wanted to melt your heart.
But he had already fooled you once, you wouldn't let that happen again.
"What do you want?" you snapped with a critical look.
He cleared his throat awkwardly, "I've been looking for you. I miss you."
"Tough luck" you snorted laying down and turning over on your bed, turning your back on him.
If he wanted you dead, it didn't matter where you went or what you did, so you might as well show him what you thought of him right now. However, your guts filled with longing and sadness the more of his aftershave wafted to your nose. There were so many intense memories attached to that smell, beautiful memories.
"Y/N," he spoke softly, standing up and coming closer again, sitting down on the edge of your bed.
You felt the pillows shift a little as he settled down. He was breathing heavily, as if he were nervous.
"Please tell me what I can do to help you forgive me."
With a gulp you said, "There's nothing you can do, I don't want to forgive you."
Whispering in a breaking voice he pleaded, "But I need you so much" a gesture that was very uncharacteristic, Silco never openly admitted weaknesses, at least not like this.
Your throat felt tighter as you tried to swallow again.
"I can't," you replied just as quietly.
"Please, I'll do anything you want, absolutely anything."
He took a deep breath and said, "Please look at me, at least this one more time."
You hesitated, but he waited patiently. You finally turned to him, but didn't look him in the face, you stared at an imaginary point somewhere next to him. He could see your face, so he'll have to be satisfied with that for now.
"I'm so incredibly sorry," he said softly, gently taking one of your hands in his.
Your hand trembled and he gently stroked the back of your hand in soothing circular motions.
"Please don't be afraid, I will never hurt you again, ever, I swear," he said seriously.
"You've already broken that promise twice," you spoke softly, avoiding his gaze.
He gritted his teeth and kept silent, he knew you were right and he didn't know what to say back. What was his promise worth if he had already broken it several times. How could he convince you that he was serious?
After a while you pulled your hand out of his with a heavy heart. He looked at you like a beaten dog. You had seen that look before, when you had left him a few days ago.
You straightened up, grabbed your pants and slipped them on, then your socks and your boots. He watches you anxiously as you do so. Silco didn't want you to leave, to leave him again.
He stood up and asked you cautiously, "Where are you going now?"
You shrugged your shoulders and answered truthfully, "I don't know."
"Then come home," he asked you gently, stepping closer.
The fine hairs on the back of your neck stood up.
"You are wearing the aftershave" you spoke softly without responding to his request "But it won't work this time"
Silco looked as if something was stuck a crosswise in his throat.
"What do you mean?" he asked after clearing his throat awkwardly.
Finally, you did look at him again.
With a melancholy smile, you looked at him and explained, "I'm more observant than you think, I noticed what you were doing. You're not particularly approachable and you don't like to ask for things. Approaching me when you simply longed to be near me was difficult for you. When you noticed how much I like your aftershave, you used it" with a soft laugh you added, "In fact, I manipulated you that way".
Silco's head tilted to the side questioningly, "I don't understand."
"I like the aftershave, yes. But I acted on it so intensely, so obviously, for you to notice, I practically foisted the idea on you, on purpose, because I knew what you are like."
To your surprise, he smiled.
"Clever, I'll give you that. I seriously underestimated you."
After a short pause, he addressed you again, "When I asked you what you did with Jinx, you were about to lie, I knew that right away... that's why I thought... why did you want to lie to me?"
With a sad sideways glance, you looked at him.
"We were working on a gift for you, I was afraid to mess up the surprise".
Silco sat down on the chair he had been sitting on before and slumped. Such a harmless, innocent lie, probably the most innocent that had ever happened to him. And he had almost killed you over it.
"A gift?" he asked very quietly, not daring to look at you.
You felt the burning behind your eyes, behind the bridge of your nose, but you had cried so much in the last few days that no more tears would come.
"Yes. Jinx thought it was a great idea and wanted to be involved, so we worked something out together. Today we would have handed it over to you."
He sighed and mumbled, "Oh yeah, my birthday, I forgot".
"You should give him the present" said Jinx who suddenly stood behind you, you hadn't even heard her come back.
She pressed an ornate metal box into your hands.
"I had it made according to our plans," Jinx enlightened you "I thought.... maybe you guys would make up"
"I wish it were that simple, Jinx" you said quietly, but finally held the box out to Silco.
The girl stepped from one leg to the other, looking so strangely vulnerable and unsettled that your gaze automatically turned to her.
But Silco's voice drew your attention back to him.
"This is, magnificent..." he spoke breathlessly, holding the finished revolver in his hands "Wonderful design, perfect craftsmanship"
"You can't leave us!" it suddenly bubbled out of Jinx.
Silco as well as you looked at her in surprise.
"I won't leave you, Jinx" you assured her "It doesn't matter what happens between Silco and me, I won't abandon you, I will always be there for you"
The girl's gaze wandered back and forth between you, tears streaming down her face.
"But it's not the same! Now everything is different. You are always sad and tired and absent"
"That... is just a phase, it will pass", you tried to reassure her.
Jinx head wheeled around to Silco, "This is all your fault!"
He swallowed and finally said calmly, "I know."
„Then do something, make her stay!“
"That's what I'm trying to do"
"Doesn't look like it," Jinx growled, wiping her face and sitting down at her work table.
In the next days you were sometimes here, sometimes there. You visited Jinx in between out of concern that she might really think you were leaving her alone. She was always happy about your visits and you had fun together. But there was always a strange bitter aftertaste after each visit. In the meantime you missed Silco very much, despite everything that had happened. In a way you could understand his overreaction, after the life he had lived, it was obvious, but still, the fear that it could happen again when you went back to him was there. It was so unhealthy and wrong, but you longed for him, for this strange, dark man with the hidden soft side you had come to know.
One night your way led you to his club, The Last Drop, you knew he was probably sitting in his office one floor up, this knowledge tingled strangely under your skin as you immediately ordered a whole bottle of whiskey, scotch to be exact. When you went to pay the bartender, he shook his head.
"It's on the house."
Your brows shot up.
"A whole bottle?"
The man nodded.
"Orders from the boss, if you show up here, it's all on the house for you".
You laughed in disbelief and finally said, "Fine, I'll get drunk today".
You heard a deep, raspy, feminine laugh, then Sevika appeared next to you, sitting down on the bar stool close to you.
"Mind if I join you?" she asked, winking mischievously at you a cheeky glint in her gray eyes.
Automatically you beamed at her, even Sevika you had missed.
"Be my guest!" you said delightedly and asked the bartender for two glasses.
You filled both and toasted her.
Sevika looked at you, her fingertips sliding to your collar and pulling it a bit to the side.
"It looks better already. How do you feel?"
Questioningly, you looked at her.
"Did Silco tell you what happened?"
"Told me?" snorted Sevika "I was there. I revived you."
All the color drained from your face.
"What?"
Sevika looked at you in a state of surprise.
"Y/N I heard noise and came to check, there you were in the tub, Silco above you, you weren't moving, not breathing. Silco was completely out of it, so I pulled you out of the tub and resuscitated you, CPR and stuff, I saw it on the docks once"
"I... I was really dead?" it came hoarsely from your lips "I thought...I thought I just passed out, I thought it just felt like....I thought I was unconscious..."
You felt a little nauseous, but you swallowed and fought it.
"I owe you" you interrupted yourself to clear your throat "I owe you one, thank you Sevika."
The broad-shouldered woman shrugged her shoulders and flashed an unfamiliar gentle smile.
"That's all right," she replied simply.
"Yes" you mumbled "Today I'm definitely going to get drunk".
You longed for a numbing of all the emotions that had just been stirred up inside you again. Glancing at Sevika, you flashed your bravest little smile and said, "Let's drink."
The bottle became emptier and emptier and Sevika and you became jollier and jollier. Unexpectedly, you were having fun. You sang along with one song or another, told each other jokes and anecdotes. You had never had such a relaxed conversation with her.
Suddenly Sevika said abruptly, calmly and seriously: "Silco is suffering. He would never admit it directly, but it's true. He's getting broken little by little because you're not with him anymore".
Her words brought you down from your drunken high, caught you ice cold.
"How is that my problem?" you asked defiantly.
Sevika sighed, "Don't act like you don't care, I know you do."
Your jaw muscles worked visibly before you said, "But I don't want to care."
"I know" she said unusually gently "I don't blame you either. But you're suffering just as much and ignoring that only does more damage"
Surprised, you looked at her.
"Since when did you become so empathetic?"
Sevika laughed, "Honestly? Since I met you."
"Then I've been a good influence on you".
Again the woman on the bar stool next to you laughed.
"Well, sometimes I think so too" she admitted.
"All right. Yes, I miss him, a lot and I hate myself and him for it, sometimes"
After a sigh, you asked, "Is he in his office?"
Sevika nodded.
"Is he alone?"
Another nod.
Probably this was a stupid idea, you were not extremely drunk, but still quite drunk. Nevertheless, you walked up the stairs and across the floorboards towards the office door while the music in the club blared behind you. You felt shaky but also psyched, you wanted to do something, had to do something. In any case, it couldn't go on like this. On impulse you giggled and thought why not take advantage of the situation, you were drunk enough to make him a little nervous without being afraid of him. They didn't say drunks often felt bulletproof for nothing.
You pushed his office door open without knocking. Silco was sitting behind his desk over some papers, his head shot up, an angry expression on his face that immediately softened when he realized who had come rumbling into his office. You threw the door into the lock behind you with a bang. Wide-eyed, he looked at you.
"Honey! I'm home!" you exclaimed, giggling at your own silliness.
Maybe you were a little drunker than you thought after all.
He raised his brows questioningly, not really sure how to react or what to say, his heart racing in his chest but playing it cool.
"Are you drunk?"
You made a deliberative hand gesture and said "Pretty much, not as much as I'd like to yet but I'm getting there."
Silco looked at you, not quite sure if he should be happy, worried or angry to see you right now. His gaze followed you as you went to his private bar and poured yourself a glass of scotch. You took a sip, then said surprisingly seriously without looking at him, "I miss you."
His heart leapt. He had longed for these words so much in silence.
You heard him stand up and his footsteps approach. The fine hairs on the back of your neck stood up and when his hands touched your shoulders, goose bumps spread over your body.
"You don't have to" he said softly "Just stay here, with me".
You longed for him, for physical contact, for warmth, for just being with him again and part of you, hated yourself so much for that weakness.
"The aftershave, use it," you commanded him.
He paused for a moment, surprised.
"What are you waiting for?" you asked, turning to face him.
Silco blinked, he knew you were drunk and not quite yourself, yet, what he guessed you were up to, he just couldn't refuse, even though he probably had better not take advantage of the situation.
He moved hastily toward the bedroom, turning once more to make sure you were still there, then disappeared through the door for a moment. When Silco returned, the smell of aftershave wafted around him like a damned temptation. You smiled, closed your eyes, and breathed in the scent.
He looked at your face, the expression in it, and his heart began to flutter. Seeing your beautiful face like that felt like pure happiness was coursing through his veins.
That smell. Again all the tender memories flashed and your heart began to dance. You heard him breathing and opened your eyes with a smile, meeting his gaze.
"You are nervous" you stated strangely satisfied.
"A little," he admitted softly, his hands reaching for your hips very slowly and tenderly.
When you didn't push him away he breathed a sigh of relief.
"That's the first time I've ever seen you this nervous and that' because of me" you said grinning "I like that".
He laughed softly "You are.... overwhelming, one has to get nervous"
"Sit at the desk, light a cigar" you urged him.
He hesitated at first, but then complied with your request. You followed him to the desk, sat down on the tabletop in front of him, slipped off your boots and socks, and placed your bare feet on his chair to the left and right of his thighs.
Silco lit the cigar and took a drag, blowing the smoke into the air. As the smells combined, you smiled pensively.
"Why should I light a cigar?" he inquired curiously.
"It's the mixture" you explained dreamily "The aftershave, the cigar smoke, the smells together bring back fond memories".
He looked at you surprised, but he understood what you meant.
"It was like that the first time too" you said softly.
"Hmm?"
"When we... got close for the first time" you said lost in thought "You were sitting here with the aftershave on you, smoking a cigar. I came in with a tray of fruit"
A smile tugged gently at the corners of his mouth.
"I remember," he confirmed with a soft depth in his voice "Very vividly, in fact"
„You do?
He nodded slowly.
"I remember how the tender flesh of your sex felt on my lips and tongue that day, your smell, the taste of your sweet honey pot, little flower."
The thought made you feel warm between your thighs and your face warmed as well.
"Hmm, I remember the feeling, how nervous I was" you spoke softly.
He saw the expression on your face, put the cigar down in the ashtray and asked, "Do you want to feel that again, the touch?"
His hands trailed gingerly up your legs. Conveniently, you were wearing a skirt, just like the first time. His long fingers disappeared under the hem and gently stroked the bare skin of your thighs.
You nodded silently, excited and at the same time ashamed of the desire that was flaring up inside you.
"Really?" he asked a little breathlessly.
Another nod.
You bent forward and down to him, his hands gently cupped your face. When your lips touched, your eyes fluttered closed and fireworks exploded in your chest. The kiss was long and tender, with velvety strokes his tongue chased yours. He broke away from the kiss only briefly to whisper close to your lips, "I missed you so much."
The next moment his tongue was back in your mouth as he slowly stood up, coming closer, his pelvis between your thighs, his hands moving to the table top, his arms caged you in left and right of you. You kissed until you could barely breathe.
Finally, you leaned back a bit, leaning on your elbows as an invitation for him to go on.
He sat back in his chair, his healthy pupil dilated with desire. Silco wanted you, it was written all over his face, and it turned you on beyond belief.
His fingers deftly grabbed the waistband of your panties and pulled them down. The heart in his chest, throbbed hard against his ribs, he wasn't sure which of you was more nervous right now.
Silco slipped your panties off your hips, down your bare legs, your ankles and finally off your body. Like last time, he put the panties on the tabletop, next to you, instead of carelessly throwing them away.
He leaned forward in his chair, your thighs already spread invitingly for him. You felt his hot breath on your already damp folds just before his lips touched your swollen pearl with a gentle kiss.
An excited sigh escaped your lips. The feeling was downright divine.
Gently you moaned his name as he slowly began to explore your warm, moist folds with his tongue and lips. He took his time, touching you with languid tenderness at first, enjoying the sensation of feeling you and listening to the sweet sighs that came out of your mouth.
His fingers came into play, gathering your slick, gently teasing your sensitive entrance. Just like last time, his fingers found your swollen, aching pearl and began massaging it.
You moaned out, lost in his touch, the tingle running through your nerves. Then his tongue parted your folds and slipped into your slit.
"Fuck... so good," you whispered hoarsely with arousal.
His tongue twitched nimbly through your cleft while his fingers continued to massage your pearl, sliding over the swollen little nub. You knew you wouldn't be long.
You reached for the waistband of your shirt, leaned back and pulled it off over your head, took off your bra and placed both on the table with your panties beside you.
His eyes wandered up to you without letting go of you and he growled excitedly into your sex as he saw you fondling your own breasts. By now he was so hard it almost hurt.
"Silco... I'm gonna cum..."
He hummed into your pussy, satisfied and expectant at the same time. The vibration along with his touch, pushed you over the edge so hard that for a moment you felt like you were really falling.
"I need you," you whispered close to a whimper.
He let go of you, stood up and leaned over you with a gentle look even as lust raged behind his eye.
"I'm here. What do you need?" his deep, smooth voice was soohting.
"I need you inside me, fuck me, here and now," it came harshly over your lips.
Silco looked at you surprised at how needy and vulnerable you seemed right now.
"Anything you want, little flower," he said and opened his pants, unwrapping his cock.
Just like you remembered, heavy, grithy, veiny and proud. You licked your lips, opened your legs a little wider.
"Please, I need you now," you urged him impatiently, unable to wait to feel him inside you.
He didn't ask twice, lined up at your entrance, applying gentle pressure, parting your wet folds with his tip and penetrating you. A rumble came from his chest as he sank deeper and deeper, mingling with a high-pitched moan from you. Buried deep within your walls, he finally filled you completely. Your legs wrapped around his hips, your hands clawed at the edge of the table as you began to roll your hips impatiently. You wanted to feel him here and now so badly.
"So needy, little flower?"
"Yes," you admitted unabashedly.
"Good, very good," he murmured and began to move inside you.
Silco's thrusts were slow at first, but the pressure of your thighs against his hips drove him on, your heels digging alternately into his back and into the flesh just below his butt, really pushed him.
Supported by your hands holding the edge of the table, you pressed into his thrusts. Naked skin slapped against naked skin, his balls slapped against your bare ass with each thrust, the little bush at the base of his shaft tickled your pearl. The combination of all these things, mixed with the smell of the aftershave and the cigar, was an extraordinary feast for your senses.
You tensed your abdomen making Silco growl in surprise and arousal as he sensed it and felt your cleft close tighter around his cock.
"What are you doing?" he asked breathing heavily "fuck... you have to stop this or I won't last long".
A smile settled on your face.
"What if I don't last much longer" you replied moaning "just... just a little bit more".
The heat in your core opened up like a pulsating flower, radiating a tingle throughout your abdomen.
"Now..." You exclaimed hoarsely.
Your slit tightened around his length, the tingle rippling through your center as your climax veiled your senses, and all you felt was bliss and the warmth of his cock inside your body.
Eyelids fluttering, you looked up at him, your eyes meeting.
Softly you whispered while he was still moving inside you, "I love you".
Something happened inside him, he felt the words in every little corner of his body and his climax exploded, so fast that it surprised him. His hot semen spurted into your pussy. Breathing heavily, he looked down at you lying under him on the table, your eyes half closed, your mind still caught in the fog of your climax.
Silco didn't really think you were aware of what you had just said in the heat of the moment. But a part of him fervently hoped that you really felt that way.

I've often wondered about Silco and Vander.
And I've noticed a certain... tendency to blame more on Silco, because he's a much more ambiguous character than Vander (although I think you could argue with that), who is shown as a good guy from the beginning, while Silco is a bad guy.
I find this a very interesting trick from the developers. They hang an obvious label on a character from the beginning to see if the viewer can judge the characters by ignoring those labels.
Well, Vander... I'll give you the unpopular opinion that his death was a necessary evil. It was necessary in the first place for the Undercity, to get it out of the stagnation in which it was arriving. Some will say it was peace and security, but I will say that it was also a slow bleed.
The council and enforcers could invade and demand anything they wanted from the people of Undercity without any interference, make scapegoats out of them.
It's not hard to see that if any crime happens in Piltover, the people of Undercity are blamed for it without fail.
The scene after the theft of the crystal. The Council immediately says:
"No one in the Undercity has claimed responsibility yet. "
(By the way, it's funny that they are now waiting for someone to take responsibility, rather than, as before, demanding that the culprit be found).
Yes, we know it was Jinx. But why are they so sure of that?
Do you seriously believe that everyone in Piltover is law-abiding and upstanding? What prevents a potential criminal in Piltover from committing his crime? After all, in people's understanding, only the "rats" of Undercity are capable of such a thing. You could even dress up as a "rat" to make it more convincing. No one would look into it anyway ... would they?
The Undercity needed a change, which Vander couldn't give, for obvious reasons, but how does that change matters? He doesn't want to sacrifice lives, but instead, those lives just bleed out, still dying, just slowly...
Besides, admittedly, I can't blame Silco for this murder. And even more than that, I believe that Silco had a right to that knife. But that's up to the discretion of the beholder...
I think betrayal from someone you trust is one of the worst things that can happen. In Silco's case, it also happened in such a horrible way... Vander betrayed him and tried to drown him. Not to break his neck, not to slit his throat to finish things quickly (we remember he had a knife) ...
Drown him. It is a painful slow death.
And even at the end of Episode 3, Vander grabs Silco by the neck and again, instead of ending it quickly and breaking it, he starts strangling him, again.
The strangulation is a very clear demonstration of his power (which, by the way, Silco himself will demonstrate in the future in the example of the Chembarons, only not in such a crude way), saying "Your life is in my hands, and I will decide what to do with it" probably the way Vander wanted to break the will of Silco, and if he failed, then kill him in the process. The first time as well as the second.
He lived with a perpetual stigma on his face that reminded him of the past. Every time he looked in the mirror, every time he felt pain, he remembered that moment when he was betrayed and wanted to be broken, subdued like an animal and killed.
"I knew you still had it in you. "
And even though Silco says that his hatred is gone, as the same episode 3 shows, it's not really gone... I want to point out that even after stabbing him in the back, Silco still stood in place, as if waiting for Vander's reaction, without any fear... As if it was intended from the beginning.
"I show you what you really are. "
His voice even shudders with hatred (resentment?) when he says it...
It's not until the end of episode 9 that Silco truly forgives Vander...
"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother. "
Apparently, despite his hatred, he was still searching for the answer to the question of why Vander had given up. And now he finally got it...
By the way, from the funny part, it's very telling that Vander didn't tell the kids about his past, about how he betrayed Silco, and it would have been helpful for them to know that there was someone who might want revenge on their father.
It's just a strange logic of Vander, okay, he didn't say anything about the betrayal, he must have been afraid, but not to tell about the possible danger for himself and the children, it's very strange...
And as we were shown in the first series, he realizes that Silco has not gone anywhere, and that he can still be a threat.
