sevika often comes home at late hours in the night or even early in the morning, so she’s never really in a great mood. although your version of ‘scary lady’ is just her grumbling about stubbing her toes on your furniture or demanding a back massage. but still, your babe is sleep deprived, hungry, and most of all, she misses you.

you have a habit of making sure she has everything she’ll need when she gets home, like a meal, a neat and tidy bed, a drink if she needs one, a warm bath if it’s been one of those weeks. she’s always immensely grateful for it, even though to anyone else she might seem to be unhappy. but you can tell that she appreciates and loves you, especially when she cuddles you to sleep or when she wakes you up with her tongue stuffed in your cunt.

tonight, she comes home angry and growling as always. jinx has gotten herself in trouble as always, and no matter how much she tries to keep the kid in line, she always blows it up. literally. and sevika is left not only cleaning up her messes, but silco’s too. it annoys her, and it’s exhausting, and all she wants to do when she comes home is just get all of her frustration out.

so when she walks in through the front door, she sighs, takes a seat, and starts sipping at the glass of whiskey you’ve poured for her. you can tell by the crease between her brows and the way her lips are pouted that there’s something on her mind, and you know that she’s just itching to get it off of her chest.

“how was your day?” you prompt.

she sighs deeply, closing her eyes and exhaling through her nose. “i hate my job sometimes.”

“really? i thought you liked helping your people.”

“not when jinx kills them all.”

and her tangent has started. she tells you all about how silco had her running around the city all day, in and out of buildings, up and down between topside and bottom, tracking shipments, meeting people, cleaning the bar, babysitting jinx, finding information, etc.

what she hasn’t noticed is that you’ve been sneaking closer to her while she talks. she’s too busy in her own world, ranting about jinx and silco and the chembarons and the enforcers, and suddenly you’re wrapping your arms around her and pressing your lips against hers.

you smile against her, you know that she likes to vent sometimes, but you also know that it’s good for her to just move on and enjoy your presence. she sighs against you, pulling away with another pout. some of her brown lipstick has smudged against your lips, so she reaches forward to smear it off.

“sorry, am i boring you?” she says with a sleepy grin.

“yeah, a little.” you tease. “why don’t we go to bed, babe. i know you’re tired.”

sevika also likes to overshare when she’s drunk. it doesn’t take much, just a few drinks and a steady conversation to start her rambling.

sometimes it’s dangerous, she’ll start talking to some random goon about silco’s plans and incoming shimmer shipments, and you have to swoop in and start making out with her before she reveals to much and loses her job.

other times it’s cute. she’ll get a little tipsy, the bar will be somewhat empty, the lights shining perfectly on your skin, and she’ll just dump out a million reasons as to why she’s in love with you. she gets so adorable and soft, her cheeks get firm with a smile reaching from one ear to the other, her eyes squinting closed a little, and it’s hard not to lean forward and shut up her words with your kisses.

it’s not like she minds, though. she never minds. her favorite thing in the world is the feeling of your lips on hers, and that sweet feeling of love that it brings to her. whether she’s had the worst day ever or not, she knows that you’ll find a way to comfort her with your sweet kisses, and she instantly forgets all about what caused her to start talking in the first place.

Before you could reach your climax, a blaring sound interrupts you. You spring up from your bed. 

“fuck” your groan “another dream” you say as you rub your eyes. 

You look to your nightstand and see the time. 

“SHIT!” Your suddenly wide awake. Today is your first day as a receptionist at some law firm. It is currently 6:20 and you have to be there by 7. And it's a 25-minute drive! 

Jumping out of bed and practically running into your bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your face. No time for your skincare routine you just slap a bunch of moisturizer on your face. Hurrying to your closet to get dressed. You grab the first thing you see. A pinstripe long sleeve top with a plain black pencil skirt. Putting a quick coat of mascara and lipstick and you're out the door. Bag, shoes, and keys in your hands struggling to unlock your car. Once you get it you see your tank is nearly empty. You were going to fill it up last night but you decided to wait until this morning big mistake. “6:36” on the clock you have no time for gas.  

You arrive at the office 7:03 am, parking is a bitch. Walking up to the building, it’s older looking maybe 30 years. Big letters “S.V & S.D Law Firm” hang over the entrance.  

“Your late.” Is the first thing you here as you walk through the double glass doors. There stands a man looks about in his 50’s, kind of scrawny looking, his left eye seems to be prosthetic, but with glare that could kill.  

“ I know I'm so sorry Sir, parking was-” 

“I don't care for excuses.” He cuts you off. 

“Right I'm sorry Sir it wont happen again”, you say very intimidated. 

“ Yes it won’t, as you probably know you are replaceable so don’t let it happen again.” he sternly said. 

“Jesus Silco already belittling people before the day begins?”, a voice that is familar says.

“ Just what...”, out walks from around the corner a beautifullly handsome woman. Her muscles look like they are begging for release from her biceps. Dark skin, with scars on her perfect face leading down to her neck. And oh my god her nose.

“Hello, did you hear me?” you barley hear her voice say.

“See we hired an idiot” the old man mutters as he walks out he main entrance into what you guess is his office. 

“Your y/n right our new receptionist?” 

“Yes, I am” 

“Pleasure to meet you” she says reaching out her large hand.  

“You as well ma’am”, you shake her hand. They seem to be almost double your size and her fingers are so long and thick. 

*I know those come in handy* you think to yourself.  

“Please address me as Ms. Verma and this is Mr. Davies”

“Of course, Ms. Verma” 

She smirks at you looking you up and down. “Skirts a bit short, no?” she says quietly. 

Caught off guard you feel your face heat up in embarrassment, or is it arousal? 

“I’m sorry if I'm not in dress code I was in a hurry getting dressed this morning”, you quickly say.  

“I never said I didn’t approve, did I?” she smirked. “I’ll show you to your desk” 

You follow closely behind her as she leads to your desk. She looks even taller from behind, she probably about 6’2”. 

“Here is where you’ll be spending most your time if you're not running errands for Mr. Davies and I.” She quickly shows you how to work the phones and makes appointments.  

“I assume you know how to send emails so I’ll leave you to it” 

“Alright thank you” 

“Hey and don’t worry about Mr. Davies he's not exactly a morning person”, she says with a hand on your shoulder that slides down your arm before she walks off to your office.

ugh for me personally the only thing worse they could have done is make her pregnant or have a baby. i hate storylines like this im so sorry. it's different when the parent-child relationship is like the main focus or the premise of the show/movie (the mandalorian, the last of us, the walking dead game, silco taking care of powder who's the main character), but when a random ass child shows up years late to the party and needs someone to take care of them and the child character has no previous connection to the audience... i really dislike that in stories im so sorry. leave jinx alone

also, in what world is jinx ready to be a mother figure to anyone lmao she's very much stuck in a child-like state herself half the time. this is not what she needs, we both deserve better

tbh call me weird but I actually forgive anything Snape did, my baby can do no wrong. Called Lily a slur? Not his fault, he's a baby. Joined the DEs? He was just being a silly lil boi. Bullied students? Why were they bothering my angel

From my genuine moral perspective, I truly think that nothing he did was that bad. I do understand, however, that his path to redemption was something he needed in order to forgive himself because, from his perspective, he saw that he had messed up a lot and needed to redeem himself in some way because the guilt was just too much. I also understand that some people might feel highly triggered by his behavior throughout the saga and can't stand him, find him unbearable, or can’t forgive him. I mean, I get it all, and I think it’s legitimate.

However, if you ask me personally, not in a critical way, not analyzing the character, but me as I am, if I think Severus was a good person, I would say no, but then I’d ask, who is really a good person? I mean, most people are a piece of shit to some extent. And, honestly, I’ve forgiven characters for much worse things. I’ve overlooked Jaime Lannister throwing a kid off a tower and leaving him paralyzed, I’ve forgiven Silco for being a kind of Pablo Escobar who plunged his city into a drug epidemic, I’ve forgiven Sofia Falcone for killing people who had nothing to do with her personal revenge, or Penguin for being basically a Silco who exploits vulnerable kids to get what he wants. I’ve forgiven Crocodile from One Piece for trying to build a mafia to economically and socially destroy an entire kingdom just for the pleasure of getting rich, just like I’ve forgiven Donquixote Doflamingo for being a dictator, and I’ve forgiven Itachi Uchiha for killing dozens of people in cold blood despite his intentions. I don’t know, I’ve even forgiven Azula for being a psychopath capable of killing her brother. What I mean is, I like and overlook a lot of shit from characters who are objectively worse and have done objectively worse or morally questionable things than Severus. For God’s sake, Severus Snape is a morally ambiguous character in a saga for kids and young teens, he’s literally a baby compared to any morally questionable character in a lore for an older audience, his sins are laughable. I mean, what did he do wrong? Call a girl a slur who ended up marrying a bully, knowing beforehand that he was a bully? And so what? I’m sorry, but Lily Evans has zero moral grounds to complain about anything when she knew James spent years bullying people just because he felt like it, and then she goes and marries him. Who the hell does that? If Lily Evans came to me after marrying that jerk to give me a moral lecture, I’d slap her across the face. There’s only one thing I hate more than overly moralistic people, and that’s moralistic people who are also cynical. Then what did he do? Join some kind of extremist cult because he was a vulnerable teenager who didn’t see any future for his life anywhere else? Ooooh, how bad. And then what? Be a nasty teacher? 😂😂😂 I was just messing around with their supposed heights (Silco is around 5'9") and my estimate of Lux's and like can I just say that little gremlin Jinx being protected by all this intimidating tall people is everything to me (also I have her exact height, so I feel kind of attacked and intimidated at the same time)

I just imagine everyone seeing Rengar looking up at this tall lion man being like "Ha, I see where she gets it from" and realizing Lux is not quite done growing, at some point when Rengar becomes a more common sight he hits people with the "I am on the smaller side for my species" and everyone just bluescreens jsjsjsjsjsjs🤣

Sorry I think about Rengar to much, he is my beloved son and I really like his character even though Riot really doesn't

I'm glad you've been liking my works, especially Jinx's Hellcat since it gave me a neat story addition I hadn't even thought of! The current WIP for that one is a struggle through the tears of the two finally meeting (practically dusted myself imaging Lux giving a shaky "Papa?" when first seeing Rengar).

Hoping that the Void event gives some juicy lore to play around with (already got my eyes on the new champ to see how I can work that in). That fics been fun to write even if I don't know where it's going, latest chapter I'm working on actually brings in the intro to our good friend Warwick (....or at least a void variant)!
