Another feast in another place. Sigyn was used to this kind of stuff, even know it was only asgard. The gloryful, amazing asgard. But they kind of taste in parties.. Did bore her. Since it was a welcoming for her family from vanaheim, her sister was the attention of the evening, nothing new to her. Since her sister was the goddess of love and beauty, men centered around her, to just get a glimpse of her person. The oldest son of Odin seemed no different, catching her attention with some stories about how mighty and powerful he was. It was just talking, eating and a lot bragging.. Where was the dancing she wondered, walking around the big hall with a Glas of wine in her hand, her hair styled in open waves, cascading down her waist while her body was hugged by a soft blue gown, tight around her waist in vanir style. Maybe she should just leave, probably no one would notice.

Sylvie flicked through the book she'd found in her cell, humming to herself as she did. The guards of her cell seemed twitchy, having been given orders not to engage. Guards who had guarded her not too long ago. She heard new footsteps approaching and turned to see Sigyn approaching. Tossing the book aside, she stood from her bed. "Did Thor send you to try and make me feel guilty?" She asked.

Character needed: Loki

Loki and Sigyn had always been great friends. Having met as children, a deep connection between them formed quickly. Their mothers welcomed their friendship, both of them glad their children had someone who understood them. Not many were blessed with the ability to use magic and children could be mean at times, making fun of things they didn't understand.

It was their passion for reading and painting that brought them together such as their shared intrest in the supernatural. Unlike most Sigyn wasn't frightened of Loki's seidr, she adored him for it. His shape-shifting was something that fascinated her. For her his mischief consisted of funny tricks. And although Sigyn found it a little brutal to turn into a snake and stab your own brother, she also saw the fun in it. She had found herself a true friend in Loki.

The years passed and she kept visiting Asgard on the regularly. Spending most of her time there with Loki. And as soon as she had left to Vanaheim again she couldn't help herself but miss the youngest Prince. Often she would return soon after with a new book to share with her friend or to show him a new learned magic trick. She would without a doubt find another reason for a visit and luckily the God of Mischief didn't seem to mind that. She always made an excuse to see him, even if it was only for a bit of time.

Their time together shortened with her mother becoming sick. Almina's sickness resulted in her being bound to the bed and Sigyn refusing to leave her side. She would help her mother with whatever she could, her passion to become a healer growing stronger than ever. Her knowledge improved while her mother sadly moved on to Valhalla. It was for the better, she told herself. At least she had found her peace but Sigyn was left heartbroken, her brother Arvid and her friend Loki remaining her greatest support.

She found distraction in her studies, never forgetting about her goal, her dream of using her seidr for the good. Her art of potion making had improved as well and she was on the path of becoming a great healer.

Studying together instead of alone was more of an pleasure. Therefore Sigyn had once again grabbed two copies of the same book, heading to Asgard to show it to Loki. Hoping they could read it together and share their thoughts afterwards.

Open Starter || Sigyn

❝It's um...❞ Sigyn canted her head slightly, her brow furrowing as she searched for the words to describe what was before her.

❝Hmm.❞ Her hands settled in her hips as she tilted her head the other direction, lips pursing. ❝Well, it's definitely something. Which isn't I say it's bad! Just....unique!❞

It wasn't the most eloquent she'd ever been, far from it in fact. But it was the best she could come up with in the moment without putting her foot in her mouth.

Where Sigyn works as a prostitute and loki sees her when he goes there with the group of Thor and he starts to visit her often, paying enough to keep her to his self and help her, until she gets pregnant and he wants to be make her his mistress and brings her to asgard.

Hide and seek was one of her favorite games to play with him. Being a master of disguise, he could easily blend in any crowd, so the task of finding him whenever it was her turn could go on for days. Like now, she had spent hours looking for him without such luck. It was already close to sundown when she returned to the palace, covering her mouth when she yawned as she practically fell onto their bed.

Well, it was his bed, but she’d been on it more than enough times for her to consider it hers, too.

She’d left a note for him with Muninn so that he knew that she’d tapped out of their game, and after changing into one of her silky nightgowns, she snuggled under the sheets and stole one of his pillows, one where his scent was strongest. Another yawn, and she closed her eyes, feeling herself slip into a light but comforting sleep.

        The Enchanted Forest is not so terrible a realm, as it were. Sigyn can feel the magic pulsing through the roots of the flora around her, knitted into the fabric of this place. Under any other circumstance, she would be fascinated. Enjoying herself, even. This kind of magic is a welcome change from Neverland.

        But Sigyn has lost her dear son again, and does not know where to begin looking for him. She can only wander, aimless, through the woods, pausing only when she realizes she's not longer alone.

        "If you mean to be my shadow, I would prefer you do it at my side." Sigyn turns, the tattered hem of her gown—otherwise well-cared for—swishing in the dirt. Bright blue eyes scan the trees with vaguely curious interest. "I prefer my darkness exposed to the light."

ANGER DIDNT EVEN SCRATCH THE SURFACE of what she was at that very moment. to simplify it down to something so trivial didnt do the feeling justice. she has loved the trickster since the moment they met. she didnt know it at the time, but she did. he was everything she wasnt. he had reminded her what it was like to smile, to let herself breathe. she knew the stories of loki from whispers and books, but none of it did him justice. all those years ago she remembered feeling this way and it made her chest tight, fighting to breathe,

on the outside of her racing mind, sigyn kept some distance between them. it took everything in her not to run into his arms, kiss him and tell him how much she missed him. how much she mourned him. back then, he had left her with a lie. this time he hadnt even bothered to do that. no, she had to hear it from thor. she had just stared at the man, waiting for the teasing, waiting for the rest—there had to be more. but there wasnt. her husband was dead and she wasnt. she was alone and she never even wanted to be a goddess.

she just wanted him.

her anger rose to surface with flushed cheeks and a glassy sheen of soon to be shed tears, her brow furrowed. but he wasnt dead. not really. he just let her believe he was for months. " you let me think you were dead, " she said, keeping his gaze, fingers balled into fists at her side. " you left me here. do you know how many days i spent crying for you? how many nights i lied awake waiting for you? "

The clear disdain on his face, that faint smile...it worried her quietly. This was not the man she knew, hardly a shadow of himself. There was a moment's thought as Sigyn considered what she was about to offer before she spoke up, "...What if we didn't go. Mother said it was important but..." Perhaps he could use a night away from the court. Sigyn could use her seidr to send semblances in their place. It would tire her after only so long, but...It would work. "We could go to the library? Back out to the Garden...or away from Asgard as a whole?" Anywhere to perhaps help him feel more himself. "These affairs are stuffy as it is."

That got a shrug. The arrangement between them had hardly been settled with either of their consent, after all. Sigyn was doing this out of duty just as much as Loki was, as far as he could tell. They did get on well, at least, so it could be worse, and Sigyn could at least keep up with him jab for jab when it came to argument and debate, but even so. Loki had absolutely no interest in being married or anything that came with it, and he certainly was not going to pretend that he did.

At least, not when he was out of the public eye. In view of Asgard and his parents, that was another story entirely.

"Of course," he assured her, flashing a faint smile; those, too, had become something of a rarity with him in recent days, though they'd been getting fewer and fainter ever since Odin had begun focusing on Thor and brushing the younger prince to the side more and more often. "It is hardly going to be focused on us the entire time, after all. Father will wish to celebrate my brother's latest achievement also, I've no doubt."
