despite any and all potential logical explanations for why I refuse to believe Sigma is dead, the only fact I need was the way that he was looking all ethereal, majestic, pretty princess, bbg all season only to look like that AND have the camera zoomed in so close you could see his non existent pores instead of having his sleeping beauty moment. that's the only reason. there's no way he's just... dead... looking like that.
