The idea of eliminating dropped phone calls, slow data speeds, and unsent text messages without needing to connect to wifi, if you have usable signal outside your home, vehicle, or office building, but weak to no signal inside, then a mobile network booster will definitely improve your cell service and signal strength voice and data.
Installation Steps-----
1. Fix the reception of the high place and the turn signal point.
2. Connect the antenna to repeater machine BTS port via cable.
3. Connect indoor antenna to repeater mobile port.
4. Ac plug power cord into the power source and finished.
5. Tip: an outdoor antenna should be “isolated” from the internal antenna, that is, it must be constructive obstacles (walls, partitions, etc.) between the antennas.
Important Note----
Make sure you can receive good signal that you want to amplify on your house outside, which must be can getting 1 bar signal (-70db~-90db signal strength) on your mobile phone.
Please note that the signal booster can only boost the mobile phone network signal, but does not help to generate any signal. For example, if your outside signal has 0 bar, it can not work or bring you any signal. When outdoor antenna and indoor antenna are not separated enough, then it will be self-oscillation. Your phone will not get any signal.

HOW MOBILE SIGNAL BOOSTER WORKS | A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE
In today's fast-paced world, staying connected is crucial. Whether you're at home, at work, or on the road, a weak mobile signal can be frustrating. Drop calls, slow internet speeds, and poor call quality can disrupt your day and hinder productivity. But fear not, because there's a solution – Mobile Signal Boosters. In this comprehensive guide, we will delve into the world of mobile signal boosters, explaining how they work and how they can significantly improve your mobile connectivity.
Tumblr media
1. Understanding the Mobile Signal Booster
Before we dive into the technical details, let's start with the basics. What exactly is a Best Mobile Signal Booster, and why might you need one? Simply put, a mobile signal booster is a device that enhances the strength of your cellular signal. It acts as a bridge between your phone and the nearest cell tower, amplifying the signal for better reception.
2. Components of a Mobile Signal Booster
A typical mobile signal booster consists of three main components:
External Antenna: This antenna is installed outside your home or office and captures the weak signal from the cell tower.
Amplifier: The amplifier boosts the signal's strength, making it stronger and more reliable.
Internal Antenna: Placed inside your building, this antenna rebroadcasts the boosted signal to your devices.
3. How Does a Mobile Signal Booster Work?
Imagine your Cell Phone Signal as a radio station broadcast. Sometimes, you're on the edge of the station's coverage area, causing static and interference. A Mobile Signal Booster acts like a powerful antenna, grabbing that weak signal and turning it into a crystal-clear reception.
4. Types of Mobile Signal Boosters
There are various types of mobile signal boosters available, catering to different needs. The most common ones include:
Home Signal Boosters: Designed for residential use, these boosters are perfect for improving indoor coverage.
Vehicle Signal Boosters: Ideal for boosting signals in cars, trucks, and RVs, ensuring a reliable connection on the go.
Commercial Signal Boosters: These boosters are designed for large buildings, such as offices, warehouses, and hotels, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for employees and guests.
5. Installation Process
Installing a mobile signal booster is a straightforward process. It typically involves mounting the external antenna, connecting it to the amplifier, and placing the internal antenna inside your building. Many kits come with easy-to-follow instructions for a hassle-free setup.
6. Choosing the Right Mobile Signal Booster
Selecting the Right Mobile Signal Booster depends on several factors, including your location, carrier, and the coverage area you need. Make sure to research and choose a booster that suits your specific requirements to maximize its effectiveness.
7. Benefits of Using a Mobile Signal Booster
Now that you understand how a mobile signal booster works, let's explore the benefits it offers:
Improved Call Quality: Say goodbye to dropped calls and garbled conversations.
Faster Data Speeds: Enjoy smooth streaming, faster downloads, and lag-free online activities.
Wider Coverage: Ensure signal strength in every corner of your home or office.
Battery Savings: Your phone won't have to work as hard to connect, extending battery life.
Enhanced Productivity: Stay connected and productive without interruption.
8. Common Misconceptions
There are some misconceptions about mobile signal boosters that need clarification:
Signal Creation: Boosters don't create signals but amplify existing ones.
Network Interference: A properly installed booster won't interfere with the carrier's network.
Legal Considerations: Most boosters are FCC-approved, but it's essential to use them responsibly and follow regulations.
9. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Like any electronic device, mobile signal boosters require minimal maintenance. Occasionally checking connections and ensuring all components are functioning correctly can prevent issues. If you encounter problems, refer to the troubleshooting guide provided with your booster kit.
In conclusion, a Cell Phone Booster is a valuable tool for anyone struggling with weak mobile signals. By amplifying and improving your cellular reception, it ensures you stay connected when you need it most. Say goodbye to frustrating dropped calls and slow internet speeds.
FAQs
Q1: Can I install a mobile signal booster myself?
A1: Yes, most mobile signal boosters come with easy-to-follow installation instructions, allowing you to set them up without professional help.
Q2: Will a mobile signal booster work with any carrier?
A2: Many boosters are carrier-agnostic and work with multiple carriers, but it's essential to check compatibility before purchase.
Q3: Do I need a booster if I have Wi-Fi at home?
A3: Yes, a mobile signal booster is still valuable for ensuring voice call reliability and cellular data coverage, even if you have Wi-Fi.

✅ Best wifi extenders in 2022 ➡️ Top 5 Tested & Buying Guide
Product Description:
Number 1. TP-Link RE220 The TP-Link RE220 was the least expensive range extender at $35 in 2020, but it still outperformed everything else in every way. This Wi-Fi extender is fast, reliable, and easy to use. It works with almost every Wi-Fi router on the market.
Number 2. Linksys RE7310 In 2022, TP-Link took the top spot, but the Linksys RE7310 was right behind it and almost as good for most home networks.If you have a fiber internet plan with speeds of up to 150Mbps for both uploads and downloads, the RE7310 can give you an average Wi-Fi 6 download speed of 132Mbps throughout the whole coverage.That's almost equal to TP-best Link's choice.
Number 3. TP-Link RE605X If you are going to buy a router in 2022, the TP-Link RE605X should be at the top of your list.  At $100, it's far from the most affordable extender on the market, but with a highly capable AX1800 design, full support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 speeds and features, adjustable antennas and a helpful easy-to-use control app with strong reviews on both Android and iOS.
Number 4. Netgear Nighthawk X4S (EX7500) As soon as you plug in the Netgear Nighthawk X4S range extender and pair it with your router, it will start working with your router to create a single, unified network that automatically routes your devices between the router and extender as needed. That's great, and the extender also comes with a well-made app for quick control.
Number 5. D-Link DAP-X1870 The D-Link DAP-X1870 is an outstanding performer that performs an extremely good job of generating a single, unified network as soon as it is paired with your router. It is yet another superb model that came in 2021. If you consider the performance it can give, it definitely worth the value.

Tumblr media
i know what i’m doing
Sometimes Jamie wonders if you two are attracted to each other due to your compelling need to take care of everything.
It certainly was difficult at first, both of you with residual issues due to your upbringing. His as the only son of a single mother, yours as the oldest daughter of a large family.
Those types of child-caretakers aren’t always compatible. Jamie’s much more lighthearted about the way he tries to control everything, and you’re more serious.
You’d think it would be easier, both of you taking care of each other, except for the small fact that neither of you were capable of accepting help from the other.
It came to a head one evening when Jamie came home to you crying in the laundry room, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the tasks you had yet to complete before going to bed.
“Love, I can help you,” Jamie had said.
“No! It’s my laundry and my responsibility and you already have enough to do without me burdening you even more,” you replied before dissolving into more tears.
So yeah, it was a whole thing. It involved therapy and everything.
But you’re moving past it. You’re both getting to a point where each of you can receive the same love that you’re giving, however strange it may feel. Jamie even let you stay home from work to take care of him when he was sick a couple weeks ago, something that was pretty much unheard of up to this point.
You’re channeling the need to control things in healthy ways, like having all of AFC Richmond over to Jamie’s giant house for potluck-style family dinners. Or hosting non-video game nights, where FIFA is strictly banned as a form of entertainment. Or themed outings where everyone had to dress as something that shared the first letter of their name and then go see a movie at the local theater.
Stuff like that.
You’re the brains, Jamie is the execution. You can see Isaac side-eyeing him a couple times, making mental notes about temporary captains in the event that he can’t play a match.
Jamie’s gone from Richmond’s resident prick to Richmond’s resident morale-booster.
He comes home one evening with brighter eyes than normal.
“Babe,” he calls before he’s even in the door, “Coach said I can go back to being a prick again.”
“Ted said that?” you ask from your spot on the couch. You’re laying down length-wise with your legs dangling off the end.
“Fuck no,” Jamie replies, “Roy.”
“Oh,” you say as Jamie plops his bags down. You sit up a little so he can have a spot on the couch. He pats his lap so you lay back down, head on his thigh.
“Roy said that Ted fucked me up, so ‘when it’s appropriate’” (he uses air quotes) “I can be a prick to the other team.”
“That’s nice, babe,” you say, “but how do you know when to do that?”
Jamie shrugs. “Coach said he’d give me a signal. Don’t know what it is, though.”
You say, “hm,” then lapse into comfortable silence, Jamie’s hand running through your hair.
The prick signal worked so much better than you could have thought. It’s the best. You see Jamie go from playing defensively to being completely offensive, screwing with the other team’s heads. You scream and clap as he scores, while Keeley practically throttles you with joy.
Now it’s late after the game, and the lads are all over at Jamie’s. They’re absolutely exhausted, but buzzing with energy. It isn’t until about 1am that they disperse to the various guest bedrooms and pass out on top of each other. You catch a glimpse of Dani cuddling Jan Maas who’s asleep in a starfish position as Colin sneaks in to draw on their faces with sharpie.
“Don’t tell anyone it was me,” he whispers. You zip your lips and head to the master bedroom and pretty much fall onto the right side of the bed.
Jamie comes in shortly after, saying something about Isaac telling a bedtime story. He burrows under the covers and you quietly shriek because he’s placed his ice-cold hands on your ribcage.
“How are you so cold?” you whisper.
Jamie shrugs sleepily. “Dunno,” he whispers back. “Got ice in my veins, I guess.”
You smile. “You’re tired, aren’t you babe?”
Jamie shakes his head and stifles a yawn. “Nah, ain’t tired. Thinkin’ about our match against Man City.”
He says it casually. Too casually.
You see, both you and Jamie have this thing where the more nonchalantly you say something, the more important it is.
You prop yourself up a bit so you can face him and scratch his head. He sighs and leans in.
“You nervous?” you ask.
Jamie shakes his head. “Not to see the team. Lookin’ forward to seeing Pep. It’s just…” he trails off.
You whisper, “Yeah. I know. Whatever happens, I’m here. Don’t forget that. I’m here no matter what.”
Jamie says, “hm,” and then he’s asleep.
You’re running.
You’re running faster than any of the boys on the pitch had run the entire match, and you’re pushing past people in a way that Keeley would later describe as “absolutely fucking feral.”
It happened like this:
The game was over. Richmond lost to Man City.
You were on your way to see Jamie and the rest of the team.
You were, maybe, three floors away? when Rebecca got a text from Ted, showed it to you, and before you knew it you were flying down to the guest locker room to find Jamie.
Of course his dick father would show up to make this day worse. Of course he would.
You’re ducking under security and pushing your way to the locker room in a flurry of motion, then immediately stop.
It’s silent, absolutely silent.
And so still.
No one moves a muscle as your eyes land on Jamie, clinging to Roy like he’s a lifeline. Roy. Roy Kent, self-proclaimed Jamie-hater and staunch advocate against physical touch.
Jamie’s eyes are squeezed shut, but they flutter open at the sound of your tentative footsteps. He lets go of Roy for a moment, but only so that you can grab him in the next.
“Right,” says Roy, “Everybody get the fuck out!”
There are no complaints as the lads hurriedly grab their bags and exit the locker room.
Roy nods in your direction before leaving, and Beard mouths, “take your time.” You’re not sure where Ted’s gone off to.
Jamie feels like he’s going to collapse if he stands any longer, crushing you in the strongest grip you’ve ever felt.
“Oi,” you say gently, “let’s sit down, yeah? You don’t have to let go.”
So now you’re on the bench in Jamie’s lap, scratching his head in the way he likes, waiting for him to break the silence.
“Fucking stupid,” he says, voice muffled.
You ask, “What?” because surely that can’t be what he just said.
“I said it’s fucking stupid,” Jamie says, refusing to meet your eyes. “I’m a fucking adult. Don’t need to be crying about stupid shit, especially not in front of the lads.”
“Oh, right,” you say before you can stop yourself, “because crying after your dick father tried to swing at you when you set boundaries for the first time ever is a completely unreasonable response.”
Jamie is still in your arms and you cringe. Curse your stupid, logical tongue.
Jamie finally says, “Didn’t think about it like that.” He sighs. “It’s just fuckin’ embarrassing, innit? Him showing up here like that. Didn’t need the lads seeing that.”
You kiss his forehead.
“The only person it’s embarrassing for is him. Not you. You’re absolutely fine, Jaim. If anything, the boys are going to look at you better for finally understanding the shit you had to grow up with.”
Jamie nods, but you’re not sure if he believes you.
“Jamie,” you say firmly, “It’s not your fault. You handled it the best way it could have been handled. You did a great job.”
Those words seem to do something to Jamie, and his face takes on an expression you’ve never seen before
He asks, “You think so?” in such a forlorn manner than you have the sudden urge to find James Tartt and kick him in the balls with steel-toed shoes. You briefly wonder if Roy and Beard would like to join you.
“Yes,” you reply forcefully, “Yes Jamie. You did a wonderful job in a shitty situation and I’m very, very proud of you.”
Jamie doesn’t reply, just holds you tighter if that’s even possible. He takes a deep shuddering breath, but it’s the first real one he’s taken this entire time.
“I told you I’m here no matter what,” you say. “Just like all the times you’ve been here for me. Now I’m here for you.”

Could this be old jaune hugging yang ?
Jaune: JNPR just got a mission, we'll be out for about a month, and we won't have CCT connection during it, other than an emergency signal booster.
Yang: Oh? A month? That's ...
Jaune: We'll be fine Yang. Arc's promise. We leave in a week, and I'd like to get my cuddles in now!
Yang: Oh Fine. Since it's you Toothy.
~~~~~
The TV droned, some cheesy romance movie playing nearly muted.
The Alligator faunus ran her fingers through the hair of the shark faunus that was using her tail as a pillow, smiley softly at the unconscious Team leader.
Yang: I'm gonna miss you Jaune. I wish I could wholeheartedly believe that you'd come back but ... Someone broke that promise and it made me raise Ruby alone. I don't know if I could handle it if you didn't make it back here.
Yang: Back to me ...
~~~~~
Jaune: Well. I guess I'll see you in a month Yang.
Yang: I ... I love you. Please come home.
Jaune: I will Yang. I love you more.
Yang: Don't lie to me Jaune Arc!
Jaune: ... See later, Alligator. *He leaves*
Yang: ... After a while, Shark smile ...
Yang: Please make it home soon.
~~~~~
Yang: It's been a month.
Ruby: Yang, Jaune said About a month. He'll make it home.
Yang: But what if he doesn't!
Ruby: Yang, I'll pull some strings at the Hunter's Union of Vale to see if there's any news.
Yang: I'd .. I would appreciate it Rubes.
~~~~~
Yang: Have you checked in? How's Juniper doing!?!
Ruby: ... I won't lie to you Yang. They haven't checked in at their outpost yet, which puts them about a week and a half behind schedule.
Yang: ... He left me ...
Ruby: *Grabbing Yang by the shoulders* Look me in the Eyes Yang Xiao Long - Jaune gave his word. He Lives and Dies by his word. He'll make it back, or I'm not Ruby Rose.
Yang: You're right. Your Right! I just need to Buck up! He can make it back. He'll make it home ...
~~~~~
Yang: ...
Ruby: ... There's peop-
Yang: Stop.
Yang: Just ... Stop.
Yang: I ...
Yang: I just need ... I need to be alone right now. Please.
Ruby: ... Okay Yang. We're here for you if you need us.
Yang: ...
~~~~~
Ruby: YANG HOLY FUCK!
Yang: WHAT! RUBY!?!? What are-
Ruby: JNPR CALLED IN!
Yang: ... What?
Ruby: JNPR Called in, they're all alive but running low on everything they need to survive, and running out of aura - even with the fastest Bullhead it'll take a day or two for the to get home, but their alive!
Yang: ... *Begins Crying*
Ruby: *Hugging Yang* He's making it home Yang. He lives and Dies by his word, and by the Maiden's he's living.
~~~~~
Yang Bounced on her heels, waiting for the bullhead that had JNPR on it to land. It'd been more than twice what Jaune said it would take, and Yang was over waiting.
Then the Bullhead Landed.
And Jaune stepped out.
Jaune: It's a lot later than- OOF!
Yang tackled Jaune and had begun Crying in his shoulder.
Yang: TWO AND A HALF MONTHS! You were gone so long!
Yang: I Thought- I thought ...
Jaune: *Crying as well* I know, I know I missed you a lot too Yang. But I keep my word.
Yang: I know ... You've got the only shark smile I can trust.
Yang: ... Like the Stubble, Hun.
Jaune: really? It's itchy. I was gonna shave-
Yang: You're keeping the Stubble Jaune. It's recompense for making me wait so long.
But because I'm a bit crazy about the prospect of these new ones
And I'm obsessed with Cranberry
🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺
So more normal in terms of most of the numbers perhaps but still a bit extensive either way sorry lol
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hey!!! Love these pyramids of emojis I've been getting. Don't be sorry AT ALL! I love it.
Okay 3 for 🧟:
---
Buck leads Bobby out back behind the community center portion of the building. A utility shed with power access, padlocked, is where Buck keeps all his fishing net gear and other miscellaneous things. It’s also where he’s hidden the radio, signal booster, and laptop.
---
6 for 🔮:
---
There is complexity in her expression. Not the plain grief of someone who has just lost a husband; something more confused  than that. Something that makes Buck think, for whatever reason, of his sister.
The other boy, an older teenager - Charles? - is scowling. He sneers when the priest says something kind about his father. This takes Buck by surprise.
---
9 for ⚡:
---
He never had one the first time. But he’s fairly certain you’re supposed to, one, be a bachelor. Which Eddie is not, technically. And two, not spend the night more or less attached to the person you’re marrying. Which Eddie did.
And that’s exactly how Eddie wakes up. More or less attached to the actual bachelor in this situation.
He’s laying sideways across a hotel bed, legs hanging off the side of the mattress. Buck is pretty much flopped on top of him.
---
12 for 🩸:
---
“Please forgive me, Maddie,” Buck whispers.
Maddie exhales. “I feel like I should have known.”
“How could you have?” Buck asks.
“That 9-1-1 call, when you found him dead… I… It was horrible. I thought… I guess I thought a part of you sort of broke.”
Buck shrugs. “Maybe it did. I don’t know.”
---
15 for 🚨:
---
It all happens so fast.
One day, life is the way it is. The next, it seems, the world is ending. Decisions have to be made. Systems have to change. Everyone has to stay home. Everyone, excluding first responders. Things still need responding to.
For Eddie, it involves a hard choice. One he didn’t think he’d have to make. He’s spent the past nearly two months worried about dying. Mortality. Leaving his son orphaned and traumatized. Missing this beautiful life he’s somehow stumbled upon. And, well, he could. Nobody knows anything about this illness yet.
---
27 for 🔼:
---
If he thought he was confused before, Eddie is practically reintroduced to the concept of confusion. He has no understanding of what is happening or why. He feels dropped in a train station in an unfamiliar country, where no one speaks the languages he speaks, and the writing might as well be cuneiform. He has no idea why Shannon would do this to him. He has no idea why she would lie. He is so deeply angry. He is so deeply worried. He loves her. He hates her. He just wants her to be alright.
She is alright. Although, it takes hours for them to get official word on this.
Shannon’s shoulder is dislocated. They reset it; a painful process for her. That will heal, though they worry with the severity, it may require some physical therapy.
Her ankle isn’t broken. They think badly bruised and sprained. She’ll be off her feet for a little bit.
She’s banged up pretty badly from her fall. Lots of wounds that require cleaning. Bruising, to be sure. But no head or spinal injuries. This is the main thing. This is the best piece of luck. Everything else will heal.
Then there’s the other matter. The one that feels like a cold grip around Eddie’s heart.
27 for 💐
"Of course not, May. You’re always welcome. More than welcome.”
So she keeps coming.
One day, Hen and Buck approach her. May isn’t sure if Bobby put them up to it, or if there’s simply not a lot going on. Eddie, Chimney, and Ravi seem otherwise occupied with fire station chores, so she’s not sure how they got off easy. Either way, Buck takes a seat in the chair adjacent from her, and Hen sits beside her, and they both strike up a conversation. As it turns out, the exact sort of conversation she was looking to avoid.
“Alright, May,” Hen sighs. “What’s really going on?”
“What do you mean?” She asks, not looking up from her books. “I’m just studying.”
Hen clicks her tongue off the back of her teeth, unimpressed with May’s answer.
“Speaking as someone who tried to study for med school exams on this same couch? That’s bull.”
May scoffs. “Hey!”
“It’s kind of loud,” Buck backs Hen up.
“The alarm. The echoes. The constant activity.” Hen says. She points at Buck. “This one talking.”
“I’m kind of loud,” Buck agrees.
39 for 🦮:
---
Buck is actually sleeping when he gets the call.
It’s been nine months since he lost his leg, and in that time, he’s sort of gotten used to a normal schedule. Shift work kind of fucked with his circadian rhythms, and even before firefighting, he’d never had a proper routine. If he has to give it to one aspect of being traumatically medically retired from the career he loved, it’s the fucking routine. Getting a full night’s sleep every night? Game changer.
The point is, he’s asleep when it happens. Curled up with a fifty-five pound golden retriever, who is currently somehow the big spoon in this arrangement. And although nine months may have passed since he last took a call, when his phone starts ringing on his bedside table, Buck snaps awake with first responder levels of awareness.
He scrambles to grab the device, disrupting Cranberry, who gives a loud, dramatic sigh. She stands, walks from Buck to the opposite corner of the bed, and flops down, annoyed. Fair enough. Her beauty sleep is important.
“...Lo?” Buck slurs into the phone. He answers it without checking the caller. If it’s spam he’ll be pissed.
“Buck?” Bobby’s voice responds.
Buck feels suddenly twice as alert.
“Bobby? Is everything okay?”
“Have you been watching the news?”
“No? It’s the middle of the night.”
“It’s not even eleven.”
Okay. Well…
“Bobby, what’s going on?”
“It’s Eddie.”
Buck goes rigid.
“Is… Is he?”
“He’s okay. But he’s had a very close call.”
Buck sighs, relieved. That was the longest single second of his damned life.
“Jesus.”
“And he’s asking for you.”
We're so incredibly happy with how this week has gone, and especially how many old and new faces we have seen contributing and boosting the event this time. You guys are amazing!! We're so touched and honoured to see your work here 💜💜
We're now going to be on our final day of the AW, Day 5! This one has only one theme - The Shadow Den. The home Lily never thought she'd find, the people she considered her people.
The Shadow Den touches at an essential core of Lily's personality, that makes her who she is - her sense of justice. She doesn't just see outcasts when she sees the members of this community...she sees people who did not have the benefits she got. And she chooses at the end of BB1 to be with them and help them alongside Jax!
There are many different ways one can interpret this theme, and we welcome them all!
Any and all content is welcome during this week - fanfic, fanart, headcanons, meta, edits, moodboards, interactive media, even screenshots of your favourite Lily scenes!! Our only requirement is that the pieces should focus on Lily and present a positive depiction of her. WIPs and Throwback pieces are also more than welcome!
You can send pieces during any day of the week (not necessarily just the day of the theme) but do specify which day you meant the piece for!! We will keep a bonus week open for any pending entries too. Our rough deadline for entries will be July 21st. You can still send entries after the date and it will still be put up in the masterlist - this date is mostly for us to make the thank you video! Otherwise we will be open for entries until the next event, which means we will accept entries all year!!
Do keep in mind the following as you make your posts:
1. Use the tags #lilyspencerappreciationweek and #LSAW, along with the days you mean the content for (#LSAW Day 1, #LSAW Day 2)
2. Tag @lilyspencerappreciationweek, as well as hosts @sazanes and @lizzybeth1986 in your posts!
FAN-COMMUNITY BLOGS keep the creative parts of our fandom alive! If you would like to participate in other events alongside this one, here are a couple great blogs you can check out!
@choicesficwriterscreations - Accepts both fic and art! Check here for their rules, policies and roster of events!
@choicesmonthlychallenge - Any and all content welcome! Here are the prompts for @julychallenge.
@choicespride - Any and all content, as long as it is centered around LGBTQ characters and/or themes! They are currently hosting the Choices Disability Pride event - check out their prompts here!
@choicesholidays - Any and all content welcome, as long as it is centered around one of the holidays listed! Currently no events, but you can definitely check out past prompts!
@choicesprompts - Primarily writing and fic. Currently no events, but do watch the space for more updates!
@choicescommunityevents - Any and all content welcome! Currently no events, but a picnic themed event is coming up soon!
Even though this event will end around July 12th, we will still be leaving it open for the next 10 days (till 21st or 22nd) for anyone who would like to send entries but couldn't do it during the week. We will also be making a thank you video featuring all our contributors (esp their incredible work!) and signal boosters, which will be on YouTube. If you do not feel comfortable with this, do let us know.
Super excited to see what's up next for LSAW!!
So for the last time...
Happy Lily Spencer Appreciation Week, everyone!!!
You feel like you’re in a daze as you begin making dinner, not really able to focus on the task at hand. Poppy hums to herself from her booster at the kitchen table, as she colors in her coloring book; blissfully unaware of your foul mood. You place the plates on the table, wondering if Eddie will be down in time for dinner, as his guest still hasn’t left yet. You can hear the front door opening, signaling Steve’s arrival home, and decide to start dishing out the food. You set the normal amount of place settings and decide that if Eddie doesn’t come down, you can always place his meal in the fridge for later. Steve enters the kitchen and kisses the top of Poppy’s head, sending a grin your way. Your heart squeezes in your chest. It feels domestic, but it’s not real. None of it is. Amy is right upstairs, with her beautiful curls, and her throaty moans. You don’t belong here like this. You clear your throat and look away from him, going to put the dishes to soak in the sink. You miss the surprised look Steve sends your way.
“Smells good dove.” You hear Steve say from behind you. You throw him a small smile over your shoulder and choose not to say anything, focusing on the dishes in the sink instead. You can hear Steve negotiating with Poppy, trying to get the coloring book and crayons away from her, so that he can place her food in front of her, and bite your lip so that you don’t giggle. It lifts your spirit just a little, to hear the exchange. You’re pulled from the dishes by the sound of clicking heels against the tiles, you feel your teeth grind together painfully.
“Hey sweet, would you mind grabbing an extra plate? Amy is staying for dinner.” Eddie says as he throws an arm around Steves shoulder in greeting, giving him a quick kiss. You look at the table, there are four plates already there, you think for a quick second and make a choice.
“I figured she might be, since it’s already so late. I’m not staying for dinner tonight. There’s already enough plates.” Your smile is small, and you give a half shrug, trying to off play the rare occurrence of you not eating with the family. Eddie’s eyes are narrowed and he’s looking at you like he’s trying to figure out what’s going on.
“Oh, you eat with your employees?” Amy’s voice makes your jaw instantly lock and the pressure is causing an ache. You can feel a headache building behind your eyes.
“Amy.” Steve hisses shooting her a look. She looks surprised at being rebuked as she sits down in your seat at the table. Your stomach drops at the sight. You decide now is definitely the time to leave. You don’t need to see her filling the spots you dream about being in so easily. You slide out of the kitchen but are stopped by Eddie in the foyer.
“Sweet, if there is something bothering you…I hope you know that you can bring it up with us.” He says reaching out to grab your hand in his. You look down at his hand, it’s large, and warm, covered it rings. It isn’t a hand you should be holding. You force yourself to smile up at him.
“Of course. I just have plans tonight. I’ll be back later tonight.” You say easily, pulling away and leaving out the front door as quickly as you can. Once you’re behind the wheel of your car you take a moment to just breathe. You feel so…angry at yourself, at Amy, even at Steve, and Eddie. You should never have let yourself feel this way for married men. But you did, and now your jealous of a woman who gets to share their bed and a place in their lives that you don’t get. You’re mad that Eddie and Steve were so kind to you, calling you sweet names, giving you gentle looks and touches, giving you a taste of something you could never hope to have. You grip the steering wheel firmly with both hands, and lean your forehead against it, taking a few deep breaths, in through your nose and out your mouth. You’ll go out to a bar, have a drink or two, waste a couple hours, mope, then go back. Act like nothing ever happened and move on with your life. Maybe you’ll even call up that guy you went on a date with for a hookup, anything to move on from this, enough is enough. With that in mind, you back out of the driveway and leave the estate.
The bar you choose is about twenty minutes away and its small, just a little hole in the wall place. Perfect to sit and nurse a beer and commiserate over your poor life choices. Which is exactly what you plan to do. You choose a small table towards the back and trace the condensation on the glass with the tip of your finger. You try not to think about what they’re all talking about around the table, what they could be getting up to afterwards. Would they take her up to their bed? Give her a kiss goodbye at the door? Would she be back tomorrow? You bring the glass up to your mouth and take a swig, wishing you were in the living room instead, watching Poppy sing along to cartoons. You sit and people watch awhile, there’s an older couple sitting together, eating a plate of nachos, and laughing on one side of the bar. On the other, there’s a booth full of rowdy young men all yelling and laughing together. Your eyes keep drifting to the older couple. How would that look with three people? Could it work that way? You shake yourself out of those thoughts and tip the rest of your beer back. No point in thinking that way. You’re about to get up to leave, when someone walks up to you. He’s from the rowdy crowd. He’s nice looking, tall, with blonde hair and green eyes. You raise an eyebrow at him. He smiles shyly at you.
“Hi uh, can I buy you a drink?” You think about going back and hearing on of Amy’s moans again and feel your stomach twist sharply. You throw green eyes a grin. “Sure, why not?” He sits with you at the table, and you talk casually over your drinks for a while. He’s sweet enough, and he’s cute. His name is Noah. You don’t talk about anything in particular, just the local Hawkins gossip, his job at the mechanic. It’s nice. After your chat, he does ask you to come home with him, but you decline the offer. It’s late and all you want to do is go to sleep. You do take his number which he's written hastily onto a bar napkin though and give him a quick hug goodnight.
By the time you get back to the house, you expect everyone to be asleep. So you enter through the front door as quietly as possible. You practically jump out of your skin when you see Eddie and Steve pop up from the couch and walk over to you.
“It’s eleven dove, we really didn’t expect you to be out so late.” Steve says a hint of disapproval in his voice. Your lips purse in annoyance at his tone. You aren’t their girlfriend, not a wife, not a partner, just an employee, and you’re off the clock. It shouldn’t matter how late you’re out. You shrug a little. Then try to walk around them to go up the stairs. You can hear Steve suck in a shocked breath.
“Sweet.” Eddie says a hint of warning in his tone as he reaches out to grab your arm. You look up at him but say nothing. Eddies eyes roam your face, searching. “Where were you tonight?” he asks, not releasing his grip on your arm.
“Out.” You say flatly. Trying to pull away. Eddie grips your chin firmly.
“Be good, sweet.” You feel annoyance roil in your gut. Why should you be? When he’s been parading other women in front of you.
“No.” It slips out before you can stop it. The hand gripping your chin slides down to your throat, and presses, not enough to block your air, but enough for you to feel it. You gasp, as heat pools between your legs. Steve walks up so that he’s standing beside Eddie. He reaches out to push some hair out of your face.
“I think dove, that it might be time we had a talk.”
@ayoungeststark liked for a steven stark starter:
The landing had been rough, to say the least. Falling out of a hole the sky in center of Manhattan directly into the Hudson River would do that to you. The fact he was still breathing was a miracle to him at all. After being eye to eye with a super novaing Scarlet Witch, surviving wasn't on the menu.
He was running on auto pilot at this pint, especially with given how his suit's internal systems weren't wanting to respond, not that he had much voice left to give commands, so at this point he was flying blind.
He emerged from the water a mess of sparks and leaking fluid, half in a daze, at least one eardrum burst, Steven just wanted to get home. The only thing he could think at this point was get home, make sure there was a home left to get to.
It took. twice as long as normal, the rocket boosters working at best at 25% efficiency, but eventually he landed on the landing pad of Stark Tower. He stumbled forward, already starting to shed the pieces of his armor that weren't fused to his skin, making it almost to the door, when all the wind knocked out of him finally, adrenaline depleted.
Falling to his knees against the glass, he called out hoarsely, "Kali, send- send distress signal."
Tumblr media
"Sending distress beacon now sir. Connecting to Stark systems-"
