Computer, how to stop having bad dreams

This is literally one of my fav headcanons ever since I first saw Varian (I’m up to season 3 ep 2 rn) I was like, he is literally httyd 1 Hiccup and decided Hiccup would mentor him! Like i love Varian having a cool mentor figure that experienced similar things and getting to geek out even tho Hiccup is less alchemy/chemistry stuff and more physics/mechanical type stuff, they both have some understanding of each other plus just similar lives!

Also Hiccup and Varian singing ‘let me make you proud’ msjsjsjej it fits them so well!

And their wit and humour idjdididi I just need older Hiccup to comfort Varian, same age they would be besties, but personally my fav is Hiccup being a big brother or father figure to him and taking him under his wing!

I usually look at it more through the lense of Hiccup seeing Varian and being like ‘okay ur my child now’ and Varian being like ‘wow he’s cool’ but I also love the idea of Hiccup just existing for a while and Varian sees him and is like ‘okay ur my parent now’ and Hiccup being like ‘wow he’s cool’

Sidenote but I kinda think Varian with a deathsong dragon could be kinda cool purely because deathsong amber is used in a lot of chemical stuff in the series and it’s kinda like the trappy bubble thing Varian has and I think it’s fun! But Hiccup taking him back to Berk and training him! Plus him and the other characters as well, and if we add Jamie from rotg too Jsjdj I literally have so many headcanons for this but this is already so long siejejej

For the art suggestions, maybe something with Hiccup interacting with Varian? Like, Varian showing off his inventions, Hiccup introducing him to Toothless, or just the two of them info dumping about alchemy and dragons XD
