There’s a strange guy in the room when Sid arrives for practice. He smells him before he even gets in there. He smothers the thought of Geno, of wanting to tuck himself into his side or under his arm before it can take root in his mind, and he pushes his way in, heading straight for his stall.

i am very late posting here but i was thrilled to participate in the @sidgenoexchange again this year and write for @horkey.

thank you times a million to the incredible mods for running this wonderful event; i've had a great experience two years in a row and the fics and art are always amazing.

THIS. everyone knowing how incredible it is that they're still playing together. we almost lost g and tanger. we could've not had this. after every ridiculous loss, i remind myself how grateful i am to see them still playing together. i love these bitches so much. they're hot, and they're still here... fuck the score, it doesn't matter.

the way they talk about each other. how much they clearly love each other, and respect each other. ALL of their 1000th game tributes fucking kill me, but tanger's is the only one i watched live (on tv) and GOD the way it ripped me up. anyway. they love each other a lot, and i love that. tears running down my face when geno said i love you. OKAY!!!

don't forget that they're freaks. that's important.

also uh.... just anytime they're all really hot in suits together bc it makes me think sexy sexy impure thoughts.

1. The thing that got you hooked on hockey

i first fell for hockey when i lived in atlanta, which was the last 2 years they had the thrashers. tickets were cheap, and i lived right off the metro, so it was super easy to get down there. you could get cheap seats and then go down to lower bowl after the first bc attendance was so bad. i went to a handful of games a year, didn't really know anything about the game or any of the players, but always had a great time.

i got feral about hockey this go round when @eliooliver83 got me attached to a couple of flyers, which led to me watching games again and rediscovering my love of the sport. what really got me HOOKED was tripping and falling into pens fandom and basically everything i learned about the core. i love our old men <3

ever? who knows. although j your answer is hard to beat. that i've seen in person - geno scoring right out of the penalty box at the blues game last week. my daughter called as soon as he took a penalty that he'd score out of the box, and then he did! we were both so excited 🥰 (honorable mention to tanger sliding into jarry like a bowling ball in that game)

for the prompt: sid/tanger, geno likes to watch E, 2700 words much love to @lostcol for the beta; you made this story so much better!

When Tanger crosses the room to sit on the bed, Sid stays stuck just inside the door. Zhenya watches him and waits. When Sid finally lets his eyes travel up to meet his, his mouth is set in a tight line and his shoulders are drawn up too close to his ears.

“I’m sorry, G, I should’ve-”

“No. Quiet. Go see Tanger.”
