This is a question perhaps you would enjoy, everyone knows Rigby isn't the smartest guy out there BUT what if he actually knows more Mexican History than everyone else,(TBH I headcanon he does) so imagine him being in a contest with Mordecai and it's a question related to, let's say, Independence day and Mordecai's like, "waaa" and he's surprised Rigby knows the answer like if it wasn't nothing~

I could see that, but not like textbook he just knows the shit his grandma would tell him. So I could see him easily knowing some stuff off the top of his head. I kinda hc that he knows random useless facts too, he’s just not exactly booksmart, and if anything his intelligence lies in creativity. I’m kind of bummed that JG just kept honing in on how “dumb” he is rather than just give him a specific strength or a different type of intelligence. I would have preferred it if he was just really good at stuff like writing, or music, if he were really witty, and street smart. I dunno, like especially if he was creatively intelligent it could have played into the theme JG was building with Mordecai’s insecurities and jealousy of Rigby?? I dunnno I just will always be salty at all the jokes that were made at his expense about his intelligence, and how they decided “finishing high school and passing all your classes means something” rather than just making him smart in another way? Don’t get me wrong I’m still proud of my son for getting his GEd, and stuff but I wish they would have handled it differently?
