Need a Family Lawyer in Delhi? Trust Nidhi Rajoura & Associates for Divorce & Custody Cases
When faced with legal challenges, especially in personal and family matters, it is vital to have the right legal representation. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates is a renowned family law firm based in Delhi, known for providing expert legal services in areas such as divorce, child custody, alimony and other family disputes. With a focus on client-centric solutions, the firm is highly regarded for its professionalism and compassionate approach.
Why do you need a family lawyer in Delhi?
Family law is complex and emotionally charged. A good family lawyer not only provides legal advice but also helps in carefully handling sensitive family matters. Whether it is a divorce case, property dispute or child custody battle, it is important to have a lawyer who understands both the legal framework and the emotional aspects. For instance, the 2021 judgment of the Delhi High Court in Manoj Kumar Sharma vs Anju Sharma emphasized the importance of mediation in family disputes. This case highlights how a skilled family lawyer can steer clients to a peaceful resolution, avoiding lengthy court battles. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates' Expertise in Family Law.
1. Divorce Cases
Divorce is one of the most challenging decisions a person can make. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates specialises in divorce cases, ensuring that clients are well informed about their rights under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 or other personal laws. For instance, in the landmark case of Shyam Sunder Kohli vs Sushma Kohli (2004), the Supreme Court emphasised the need for a quick and amicable resolution in cases where the marriage has irretrievably broken down. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates has handled many such cases, helping clients reach fair settlements and ensuring the welfare of children, if involved.
2. Child Custody
One of the most emotionally draining aspects of family law is child Custody case. The firm has a deep understanding of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, and helps clients obtain protection in the best interest of the child. In Gaurav Nagpal vs Sumedha Nagpal (2008), the Supreme Court held that the welfare of the child is paramount. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates takes a compassionate approach, advocating for the welfare of the child while ensuring that the rights of both parents are respected.
3. Alimony and Maintenance
The legal team at Nidhi Rajoura & Associates helps clients obtain appropriate alimony and maintenance under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). For example, in Vimalben Ajitbhai Patel vs Vatslaben Ashokbhai Patel (2008), the Supreme Court ruled on the wife’s right to maintenance. The firm works carefully to ensure that their clients receive appropriate financial support, taking into account factors such as the spouse's earning capacity, lifestyle, and the children's needs.
4. Property and inheritance disputes
Family disputes are not limited to divorce and custody. Property and inheritance disputes are also common, especially in cases of ancestral property. Under the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, daughters are now entitled to an equal share in their father's property, as confirmed in the Supreme Court's 2020 judgment in Vineeta Sharma vs Rakesh Sharma. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates has successfully represented clients in such disputes, ensuring that their rightful inheritance is protected.
5. Domestic violence cases
The firm also handles cases under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Domestic violence is not limited to physical abuse, but also includes emotional and financial abuse. In Sandhya Manoj Wankhade v. Manoj Bhimrao Wankhade (2011), the Supreme Court upheld a woman's right to protection from domestic violence even after the divorce process has begun. Nidhi Rajoura & Associates is experienced in obtaining protection orders and fair settlements for victims of domestic violence. Why Choose Nidhi Rajoura & Associates? Comprehensive Legal Guidance Nidhi Rajoura & Associates provides personalized legal advice tailored to each client's specific situation. They have a reputation for being meticulous in preparation and ensuring that each case is handled with the utmost professionalism. Their expertise in handling high-stakes cases such as contentious divorces or custody battles has earned them a stellar reputation in the legal community. They understand that family disputes are not just legal matters - they are extremely personal and can have long-lasting emotional consequences. The firm ensures that their clients feel supported throughout the legal process.

Samvidhan, review
I never expected that somebody made a great series (tv episodes) on historical moment which aired on Rajyasabha channel, obviously their is no trailer and promotion of this, but probably I wish you are not missing something important.
First few episodes describes how one mulk (nation) divided into 2 nations, as you see one is more concern about [[MORE]]religion and other focuses on being equal and united in religion. After division actual story starts, of making constitution which is an important and powerful thing of any nation. Yes, I think we and specially today's political leaders are taking this lightly. I wish I could have focused little more in class 8-9 on civics book to make study more interesting but after watching this series in feel some type of proudness. Actual i also watched the video on history of our neighbouring country 'Pakistan', I don't know the actual name meaning of word 'Pak' until watching this video, it's beautiful. [Can we exchange name please?...lol! Let it be] So as you see our neighbouring nation is still not as stable in development as us and it's just because of constitution. Thank god we had great leaders at that time who made this nation and I wish our political leaders should not take this thing lightly because as we see nowadays our leaders are maybe trying to repeat the same mistake that our neighbouring nation did after division, but still we have some brilliant minds who can handle this and it's people. [And leaders of neighbouring nation are representing or showing false image of their people, all people are same like us, no difference, it's only political leaders who are ruining their lands and image.]
The most important role in making constitution was B. R. Ambedkar. I don't know much about our leaders except some popular but watching this series in got breif view of how our great leaders were and how they made their legacy. And actors were superb, Sachin Khedekar as B. R. Ambedkar did great and others also like Dalip Tahil (as Jawaharlal Nehru), Utkarsh Majumdar (as Vallabhbhai Patel), Tom Alter (as Abul Kalam Azad) Neeraj Kabi (as Mahatma Gandhi) and many more did superb work. I specially like the character of our first President, I was curious about how our 1st President looks like and how he played his role in making constitution and Rajendra Gupta made it more interesting with their acting.
And most important person who made this series is Shyam Benegal, notice visual of whole series, it's just wow. Also writers did their great work in writing script from old recording tapes, great work.
Every time in opening scene you will feel some kind of proudness. As it shows the statues and portraits of our great leaders/freedom fighters and with addition of background music which makes it feel epic.
Overall series is amazing. It is recommend for those who like to know about our constitution's history and also who want to feel the epic historical moments of making of constitution, it's just epic.

India's milkman!
Revolution: A drastic, dramatic change...
A newly independent, milk-deficient nation, becoming the largest producer of milk in the world, in 30 years.
A group of rural dairy farmers, coming together as a cooperative, hiring professionals to manage it and creating India's largest food brand.
A third-world country inventing a process of making skim milk powder from buffalo milk, when dairy experts from the most advanced nations thought that was possible only from cow milk.
A Hindu man, a woman and a Harijan standing in the same queue, knowing their milk will go into the same container, because no where else will they get 70% of the price paid by the consumer.
Previously submissive women, in 18700 villages in rural Gujarat, mustering the courage to stand up to abusive, drunken husbands, because they are now part-owners of a USD 5 billion conglomerate, and can very well take care of their children's health, education and well-being, thank you very much!
A state-level, social initiative becoming so immensely successful, that a National board is created, mega-voltage dreams are dreamt, like Operation Flood and The billion-litre idea, and these dreams come true! Karnataka's Nandini, Rajasthan's Saras and Bihar's Sudha, becoming dominant regional brands!
Other countries like Russia, China, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, seeking advice from an Indian, to replicate a successful socio-preunial program.
A group of 5 lakh villagers contributing INR 2 each, to create the first ever crowd-funded, farmer-produced bollywood movie - Manthan - about their own success story. (Check it out. It is an award-winning Shyam Benegal movie).
Revolutionary: One who is responsible for a revolution
Accidental revolutionary: One who didn't plan on a revolution, accidentally stumbled onto it, and committed oneself to it till death do them apart.
Varghese Kurien reluctantly took up the government job in a run-down, experimental creamery in Anand, to serve out his bond period against the scholarship the government gave him for his master's degree in US.
When he came to Anand, no one would give a non-vegetarian, Christian bachelor a room for rent. So, he converted an old garage as a living room, while he petitioned the government to transfer him elsewhere.
One frustrating day, he met Tribhuvandas Patel, the father of the cooperatives movement in India, who requested him to repair a machine belonging to the Kaira cooperative society.
Tribhuvandas Patel persuaded Varghese Kurien to stay back. He paid VK's salary. In the meantime, VK was undergoing a change of heart. Inspired by Tribhuvandas and the trust placed by the farmers in him, he established the Kaira District Cooperative Milk Producers Union, later to be called Amul Dairy.
VK inturn persuaded his friend from US, a dairy engineer, H.M.Dalaya to join him. Together the pioneered the process of making skimmed milk powder from buffalo milk, allowing them to compete against bigger brands like Nestle and Glaxo.
In 1965, Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri tasked him with replicating the success of Amul at a pan-India level. Thus were born the National Dairy Development Board, Operation Flood and The billion-litre idea, and many dominant regional brands like Karnataka's Nandini, Rajasthan's Saras and Bihar's Sudha!
In 1979, he founded the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), because professionals from IIMs wouldn't come to dirty their hands in rural areas.
He is Ramon Magsaysay awardee, Padma awardee and a Krishi Ratna from the Govt. of India.
In 2013, ACK released a comic titled Varghese Kurien: The man with the billion litre idea.
This post salutes this accidental revolutionary!

The South Talks, pt. 6
“What has your experience been like as an LGBTQ-identified person in the South?”
Shyam Patel, age 22, NYC: “An anecdote from SCPS” I involuntarily came out to my parents at age 16. I was in the 11th grade at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, a conservative private school in Georgia. After coming out to a group of friends in 9th grade, a bit of tension was relieved. I had a group of friends that knew who supported me. Soon enough, word spread and my tormentors—in awe of the fact that I was choosing to own my sexual identity—left me alone. While high school was getting more comfortable, things at home were not.
Hiding my sexuality from my parents made me anxious and angry. They couldn’t identify what was making me upset which strained our relationships. Noticing my unusual behavior a few months after returning from summer break, my English teacher pulled me aside to ask if everything was okay. I told her it wasn’t and divulged more than I ever thought I would to an adult. I told her how suicidal I had become. Not knowing the state requires teachers to report students with suicidal thoughts, I assumed the conversation would stay between us.
A few days later I was pulled out of class by a counselor. We walked halfway down the hall and met my English teacher. She leaned in and gave me a hug. Her smile disappeared and with it my sense of security. I knew my parents had been called to school. “Don’t panic,” she said. “You don’t have to say anything you don’t want to.”
In that moment I faced one of the most difficult choices I would ever make. Do I lie to my parents or do I give them the truth that could put me out on the street? My parents, principal, headmaster, English teacher, and counselor were sitting before me in the headmaster’s office waiting to for an explanation. I didn’t think I could say the words to my Hindu parents or the conservative headmaster and principal, but I did. “I’m gay,” I said. My parents reacted well; though they were gentle and supportive in the moment, they revealed their displeasure and disappointment at home. My headmaster asked me what I knew about Savannah Christian’s view on homosexuality and forced me to reply that it was a sin for which I would go to hell. He then proceeded to tell me to keep my “gayness” to myself. I felt insulted, vulnerable, enraged. His disgust for my sexuality covered by his false compassion is still so fresh in my memory.
