En cette veille d'élections européenne il était important d'aller prendre la température et fraterniser plus encore avec nos voisins. C'est donc naturellement que nous avons entrepris de traverser les alpes et de nous rendre en terre romaine pour enfin tester les parcs en banlieue de la ville éternelle.

L'épreuve du vol lowcost très (trop ?) matinal de nouveau accomplie nous voilà partis pour découvrir, ébahis, la première étape de cette parenthèse italienne, Zoo Marine. Un parc hybride dolphinarium, parc aquatique et parc d'attraction. Sans grande surprise c'est une véritable catastrophe. L'entrée est infâme, les horaires hasardeux, les piscines abritent sans doute moults champignons et les installations des animaux semblent sortir tout droit des années 70. Comme les attractions ouvrent à midi (alors que le parc lui est à 10h ndlr) on a eu le temps de faire le tour et constater les dégâts, c'est sans charme et sans inspiration et triste pour les différents animaux erratiques du parc. Vertigo, le vieux papy looping star Shwartzkopf ne parvient pourtant pas à sauver l'amère constat même si on aime toujours autant ces crédits un peu fou d'un autre temps. Hop ça dégage, au revoir et (pas) à bientôt ZooMarine.

Deuxième étape non loin de là, Cine Cita World. Inspiré des vrais studios de cinéma du même nom à quelques kilomètres de là. Studios que j'ai eu la chance de visiter en février dernier, l'occasion donc de pouvoir faire les comparatifs et (en théorie) comprendre les références de la maison mère. Eh bien malheureusement on y comprends définitivement rien à ce parc. C'est sur le cinéma mais on ne reconnaît absolument aucuns films ou licences, ou alors on saisis de loin les vagues inspirations (films aventure ou SF lambda). C'est juste dommage car il semble y avoir eu de chouettes idées et des chouettes collaboration (notamment avec Intamin) à un moment du développement du parc. Pour faire simple, on dirait un de mes parcs rct, commencé avec patience et parcimonie et finis comme un gros bourrin parceque flemme et manque de tunes. Les décors sont du gros œuvre sans petit détails marquant vraiment immersif ou même quelques bribes de storytelling (mon péché mignon). Certaines zones pourrait vraiment avoir leur charme et leur identité propre pourtant, dommage.

Altair le 10 inversion de chez Intamin avec cette fois des lapbars nous apprend ici que le problème du Colossus de Thorpe ne se situe pas uniquement dans ses horse collar. Ça vibre, c'est inconfortable, et les heartlines rolls de fin sont définitivement en trop. Ce concours de bite du nombre d'inversion n'apporte rien d'intéressant si ce n'est l'envie de rendre ses penne al pomodoro du midi. Le water coaster mack Aktium est basique de chez basique, encore plus qu'Atlantica, pour dire. Travail minimum, merci tonton Mack.

Le bon élève de la journée c'est Inferno qui arrive à nous surprendre par sa fluidité et sa freefall. Un family drop Intamin avec des bonnes projections vidéos et une ambiance générale réussie.

Pour clôturer cette charmante journée on est allés se terminer à Oasi Park, plus particulièrement sur Mini Mouse, un kiddie Interpark qui n'as de mérite que d'exister et d'être sur notre route pour gonfler nos fiers CC's.

Pour l'heure nous avons trouvés nos quartiers pour deux nuits dans un camping et un bungalow de rombières surclassés avec comme victuailles des pizzas, des bières, et des gelatas. Oui oui on est en Italie, va bene !

Hair's red (it really is, but the camera's crap quality) Will not be using Shawrtzkopf  Live salon style again My fringe was absolutely frazzled so I had to spend a good half hour chopping the ends off, so annoyed. This day is dire.

However, with Fresh Meat, Dexter and The Vampire Diaries to be watched, a gazillion sachets of Hot Chocolate & Ben And Jerry's half baked in the freezer, I have a feeling tonight will take a turn for the better.
