"gosh i love lesbian coded characters but it's so annoying when people bend over backwards to call it bait or claim they could be anything but a lesbian. i just wish there was a character that looked directly into the camera and asserted it, to leave no room for doubt for the viewer. unfortunately that's probably unrealistic"

was looking thru old art and i came across these old outfit concepts i came up w for the occult club in 2020 so i decided to share...

here is d-ne's. i am less proud of it bc it's all over the place/i didn't have a clear idea of what to do for her so i am hiding it under the cut LOL

if you couldn't tell these are based off of that one amino drawing. i thought it'd be fun to gussy them up and make a big illustration of them for shuuen week i just.....never got past the concept board.....i want to come back to these eventually though. maybe for shuuens anniversary or something

here are some things i want to change

a-ya is not cool enough to pull off the off the shoulder look LMAO

i remember when i chose b-ko's shoes i was thinking 'i want to go with pumps but that feels too easy/i do that too much' so i went for something else...but the shoes I chose are looking kind of really ugly to me now so I think she'll get pumps after all HAHA

ditch the ombre on her dress + the bangles

i have a better idea for her ribbon now, i think i just went with that bc i couldn't come up w anything else

c-ta is...? pretty fine actually i think i just want to change how i did the stitching/patterns on the suit, idt its obvious that its supposed to be based on the bookmark (i also kind of want to change the brooch it feels kind of corny)

i don't know why i was so determined to have d-ne have a lowcut dress when her actual dress is like. the opposite. it would make more sense for b-ko to have one but i came across that dress (the one i ended up using) on pinterest and was like ZOMG THIS IS PERFECT! and i just didn't want to let it go...i still really like it tbh T__T but i want to include her necklace from the og illust too and layering it on top of that wouldn't work

i still feel like d-ne would want something ankle-length + w/ full sleeves i jsut have no idea where to go from there...esp cause her original dress is white so its hard to not make it look like a wedding dress...and i want to include the black undersleeves too. YOU SEE MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

idk if ur interested but micah’s design reminds me of lucas proust from virche evermore. he’s not *exactly* a yandere, but he has like…a few unhinged incidents here and there (hint: tomas bad ending but like 5x). they’re both very pretty and angelic, with that slight tinge of crazy in their eyes 😇🙏 thanks for all the hard work you’ve put out so far!!! you definitely deserve some rest :p

I usually don't like my ocs getting compared to existing characters because it feels like I have to actively prove that I didn't copy the said character but this one is like the highest level of praise I could've received

I'm nowhere near on Yomi-sensei's level but she's definitely a very big inspiration for me, she has mastered the art of drawing long haired beautiful stunning men and I look up to her a lot.

Propaganda for DB:

d-ne is a lesbian who lacks any sense of identity for herself and struggles to get close to anyone. she falls deeply in love with b-ko, who she deems to be perfect. when she finds out b-ko's "perfect" act is just a mask she puts on, she just falls for her even more. she doesn't care about anyone other than b-ko or what anyone but b-ko thinks of her. she puts b-ko on a pedestal and devalues herself, believing she could never be on b-ko's level. when the group finds the "bookmark of demise" and strange deaths begin occurring, b-ko gets scared and d-ne wants her to be scared so she can be the one to comfort her. d-ne then steals b-ko's first kiss! when the "demise game" starts, d-ne is given the monkey's paw which allows her to wish for anything, but at the cost of taking that thing away from someone else. she immediately starts making wishes that would allow her to "become more like b-ko". when she wishes to have eyes like b-ko's, a random girl who had earlier pointed out that her eyes match b-ko's gets in an accident where her eyes get taken away and magically transferred to d-ne, and d-ne just laughs and blushes over this. d-ne goes to visit b-ko, who won't open her door because she's so scared over the demise game, and when d-ne finally gets in, she hears b-ko calling out to a-ya (another character) for help. in a fit of delusion, d-ne decides the b-ko in front of her, who called a-ya's name, "isn't b-ko" and murders her, in the end, deciding to fully become and replace b-ko, believing she's "protecting b-ko" by doing this. then d-ne wishes for all her misfortune to disappear, which works, but since she's b-ko now, she dies at the hands of b-ko's doppelganger (the misfortune that b-ko had been dealing with during the demise game). honestly we need more girls like d-ne in the world
