so now that there has been a spike in antisemitic hate crimes (in some areas rising over 1000%), synagogues have been vandalized, firebombed, and literally razed, jews have been assaulted in public, jewish businesses have been vandalized, jewish homes and businesses have been marked with the star of david, and a man broke into his jewish neighbor's home intending to murder the entire family for being jewish, are we gonna get an apology from the people who were mocking jews for being afraid of an increase in antisemitism after oct. 7th?

Uh this entire post has spoilers for DDS 2 so don’t read if you haven’t played that

Ngl my whole blog is a giant DDS 2 spoiler why the fuck are you here 😭😭😭

Ok so one thing that distinguishes the way I personally draw seraph from canon is that I actually gave them heterochromia, as well as reflecting their hair colour all over their body. The left side of their body has black hair, eyebrows, eyelashes and body hair, and the right side is white/silver.

But the eye colours are swapped, the silver side has Sera’s human eyes, and the black side has Serph’s. Seraphs pupils are also different but that’s because of a general headcanon that I have for the junkyard. You see, since the AI never had complete atma(in the Buddhist/Hindu sense, not the powers) their being is fragmented, so their pupil’s reflect that. It’s also because most of the Asuras are just fragments and stitched together chunks of Sera’s perception of the people that she met.

You’ll be able to see this in the way I draw Seraph, and most Embryon members that I’ve drawn recently.

Some Headcanons That Aren’t Necessarily in Their Design :D

Seraph’s Atma brand glows. If I got to remake DDS 2 (Atlus please let me remake DDS 2) I’d give Seraph’s head a soft glow, maybe with some particle effects. I personally think that the light from their brand is very strong, at times obscuring their face like an angel. And at other times it’s very soft :) and it ebbs and flows, changing intensity as they breathe (like a heartbeat)

Their voice also doesn’t sound like how it does in canon (to me) it’s more of a blend of both Serph and Sera. When they’re calm it’s a near perfect blend, both Serph and Sera’s atma working in perfect unison, but since the Seraph in DDS 2 is very young, when they get agitated or nervous their voice tends to fracture, going out of sync (Serph’s voice will be heard with a slight delay) or different voices speaking different sentences. But since Serph and Sera are very close this doesn’t happen often :)

Oreca Battle 2 manga update: Protag is named Nagi (written in katakana, I assume it comes from 梛because um. green <3 ) and his dragon pal is Xenogon (maaaaybe of Wind element? there's one on official site explanation that is fully green, this one, however, has both elements of it and elementless Xenogon; names likely comes from xenoblast because it's the name of its 3rd stage EX Skill, and ig it makes sense, considering this fella can be of any element)

Some more spoiler-y thoughts under?

The title page cover is cool. Dig how clean "anime" it looks. Nagi wants to become Super Oreca King!! which is like, King of all Oreca world or something. Protags with "wanna be king" delusions just have been following me a lot lately, what do I do with them. He's about 10-12 years old, if to base on 10 years ago flashback. Lives on far-away island with gramps who basically adopted the 2, by saving from under attack from Demon King Busker (I assume バスカー be that. Which I assume, beside the actual meaning, is ref to Busker whiskey, as Oreca tends to use alcohol names for monsters) Neither of the 2 can use their EX Command (is that how it's called in game terms? or just EX?? EX Move/Skill? EX Skill makes most sense to me) at first, but do get one combined in chapter later. Nagi is veeeery fast, while Xenogon is strong, so as they say, 二人で一人仮面ラーあぁぁ主人公 Even Busker said that basically!

Oh yea, Stan is there too, he seems to be Nagi's mentor/companion starting next chapter?

He sure's a textbook hero, whom I think potentially has something wrong with him, can't wait to see him explode or something Overall, ig good 1st chapter? It's a basic "hero journey" start but it has chance to turn into something more intriguing? And if you look at me, I will look at you with smile. Yea may translate this one, the text overall is simple and think I can do with overlaying big one simply by placing it over/nearby- this is not kje or duema thanks GOD
