i find it hilarious when people are like “we watched an entirely different show, ted and rebecca were never soulmates” as a way to shut down the tedbecca ship when mr. daniel jason sudeikis himself has quite literally said they have a soulmate connection and that they are cosmically connected. they were written to be a physical representation of soulmates. i mean, talk about soulmatism babe. there’s no other way around that. even if the intention wasn’t romantic, (although mr. sudeikis has also said that any soulmate connection is inherently romantic so who knows what goes on in his pretty little head really) platonic soulmates do exist.

The way Hannah shut down immediately after, deliberately distancing herself by a few feet as tears began to swell. The way her voice cracked as she asked, "What is wrong with you? Why wouldja' say that?!" The way was fighting back a sob uttering, "I don't wanna hang out wit'chu' no more." Storming off to some public area, to hide amongst the crowd. Finally calling a friend to pick her up and take her home.

From there, she climbed onto Suhad's lap and finally let loose all that was held back. The hijabi rubbed her back, reassuring her that it was okay to cry and that she was right to be upset about this. Consistently reminding Hannah that she was loved, and that all would be alright. Now, hours later, the brunette remains curled up within her bed. She's snuggled up with her favorite blanket, her dog at her feet. In the dark of her bedroom, her eyes burned staring at the light emanating from her phone screen.
