Summary: after an argument you decide to sleep on the couch Shuri ain't going for that.

A/n: this is tiny like really tiny.

Snippet from the fic: " "Shuri let go of me" you hit her shoulder but she doesn't budge "no you can get your grumpy ass back in bed and speak to me like an adult or I will start to treat you like a child" you let out an annoyed sigh as you turn around to face her."

"I'm sleeping on the couch" Shuri snaps her neck at you "no you're not" you grab your covers and she grabs your arm "Y/n I will tie you to this bed you can be upset with me but I will not take you sleeping in the living room" you roll your eyes and pull away from her causing her to sit up and grab you by your waist "are we going to do this tonight?" You know if she wanted to she could make you lie down so what is the use of even fighting? Well, the use is you're pissed off and you don't want to talk to her. "Shuri let go of me" you hit her shoulder but she doesn't budge "no you can get your grumpy ass back in bed and speak to me like an adult or I will start to treat you like a child" you let out an annoyed sigh as you turn around to face her. "Are you done? You know I won't let you stay mad at me for too long so talk to me in OUR bed. C'mon" Shuri pulls you onto the bed and you can't help but smile at how mature Shuri acts because most people would let you stay upset into the next day. "Alright now we can talk to each other face me look at me and talk to me I'm not going anywhere and neither are you." You sigh as she kisses your forehead then both of your cheeks "you can stay mad at anyone else except me don't stay mad at me talk to me because you're not getting rid of me any time soon. So you can get over that we talk this out like adults." You sigh as she wraps her arm around your waist.

You could never really stay too mad at Shuri because she would never let you stay too upset at her. It was a cycle that you'd start and she'd break before it could circle around and start again even if that meant apologizing when she wasn't wrong. She would do it for you without hesitation you weren't sure if that was healthy but you two never stayed in a bad situation for long because of it.

This is part 4 of my effort to scientifically decide who is the best Marvel casting choice.

On my page there are 3 others for the main characters of Phases 1-3. This poll contains a good chunk of Phase 4 casting but I’m realizing there are WAY too many Phase 4 castings to fit in the 12 allotted options by tumblr.

1) Team Royalty (Shuri of Black Panther, Rhaenyra of House of the Dragon, Zelda of The Legend of Zelda, Arwen of Lord of the Rings, and Diana Prince of Wonder Woman)

2) Team Revolution (Katniss of The Hunger Games, Leia of Star Wars, Evey of V for Vendetta, Furiosa of Mad Max Fury Road, and North of Detroit Become Human)

This event will go until one team is entirely eliminated.

One of the(many) things that bugs me about this fandom when it comes to Nettles is how even mentioning her relationship with Daemon is considered “reducing” her role to just being that of his "love interest.” This idea is ridiculous to me because it’s promoting the same thing that they accuse Nettles x Daemon shippers of(aka stripping down her characterization).

Yes, Nettles is her own independent character with her own story that ends and begins outside of Daemon, but he is a part of her story.

Her relationship with him is just as important as being an orphan bastard (non-Valyrian) girl from Driftmark, the only dragonrider of Sheepstealer(and probably the last dragonrider for 200 years), or a fire witch to the Burned Men. All those aspects make Nettles Nettles. She is more than one thing and romantic love doesn’t detract from it. It only adds another layer to her characterization.

Namor really pulls at my heart strings when I think of him returning to find Shuri gone and two of his people dead. He killed Ramonda in a fit of rage blinded by two pains. He had the pain of betrayal from Shuri and the pain of loss. I hate how people chalk up his loss of two guards as not comparable to Shuri’s loss. Namor has lost all of his family over the years. He is alone. His people are his family… his reason for living. He calls them his children. And I never believed that any of them presently are his direct children (maybe a few are descendents of his children from his first and only family that I headcanon him having had.) but in his eyes they are his blood regardless of it all. He opens up and becomes vulnerable to Shuri. He is patient despite her never quite saying exactly what he wants to hear. Until, he finds his children dead. Shuri spoke in a manner opposite of Namor. She wanted to find other solutions always dancing around and avoiding where Namor’s words wanted to lead her. She wanted peaceful solutions to their problems. Maybe given more time he could have been swayed. But the brutal truth is that he is an imperfect “god” because he can’t save every child of his. To be reminded of that fact by someone who had given him hope in those areas where he felt weakest broke him.

3) Evey Hammond of V for Vendetta abandoned her team when she learned that V got jumped backstage by Red Skull and his HYDRA minions (Marvel)

4) Arwen Undómiel of Lord of the Rings was pinned by Leia Organa after she was blinded by a red mist spit attack from Furiosa (she got the idea after watching Nux and the other War Boys spray paint their mouths). This was not caught by the referee.

5) Zelda of The Legend of Zelda was pinned by Leia Organa in a quick roll-up

6) Leia Organa of Star Wars abandoned her team after getting into a heated argument with Katniss and Furiosa. “Princess” Leia then said she hopes that Team Royalty wins the match.

7) Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games was pinned by Diana Prince after being hit by the Glamazon Slamazon (Beth Phoenix’s Glam Slam)

8) Furiosa of Mad Max Fury Road was pinned by Shuri after she reversed Furiosa’s finisher with the Wakandan Throw (Exploder Suplex)
