A/N: I really need to get back into Yu Yu Hakusho. It was my first and favorite anime. I haven’t written anything for this series since I was in middle school. Really hope I got certain details right. It’s been a while… I do remember Kurama’s lore differing between the English and Japanese versions. Went more for the Japanese. And holy crap there are so many spelling iterations for certain names. I chose the ones I remember. Also, I’ve never actually been to Japan but have been studying the language and culture to travel there one day. Translations for certain words are at the bottom just in case.

I didn't answer this time, not just because I was considering the answer, but because it was hard enough to think with his thigh between my legs. "Are you trying to trick me into promising you?" I forced out.

"I wouldn't dare," he said, pressing his thigh against my lap. He moved it subtly to create a slight friction, and a muffled moan escaped my lips.

"You little bastard, you know very well what you're doing," I accused him. Kurama kept one arm around my waist, moved his leg again, and grabbed my jaw with his free hand, forcing me to look at him. My eyes had gotten used to the night so I could see him a little, his eyes bright even in the dark.

"I should probably warn you that I won't tolerate you talking to me like that, so I recommend you not doing that anymore," he advised me, moving his thigh again, sending another wave of arousal through my body. "Otherwise, I might stop at the best."

To punctuate his words, he stopped rubbing his thigh against my clit and pushed me off his body until I fell onto my back next to him. I didn't even have time to catch my breath before he leaned over me, taking both of my hands in one of his and pinning them above my head. "Now give me an answer. Do you promise that if I tell you to stay behind me, you'll do it?"

I was soooo happy to get this so close to Valentine’s Day! Hope you like how these scenarios play out, and thanks so much for the Ask. ♥

KUWABARA

Kuwabara told his friends about you quite literally within 24 hours of meeting you, so they already know a ton about you.

He’s also been telling his friends how amazing you are for months, so you have a lot to live up to. (*gulp*)

When he introduces you at last, he absolutely gushes.

He’s so proud to call you his S/O, he basically babbles a glowing introduction until he’s blue in the face, pushing you out toward his friends so they can see you.

He can’t wait to show you off and for them to see how amazing you are!

You’re nervous at first, but those feelings quickly fade.

Kuwabara has gushed about his friends to you (this boy is so proud of all of his friends even Hiei), so you already know a ton about them, too!

Actually, you feel like you already know Yusuke and the others, and they feel like they already know you, too.

It makes getting along with them really easy, all thanks to Kuwabara’s inability to play it cool about how much he loves you/his friends.

(Even Hiei seems OK, despite what Kuwabara’s said about his bad attitude; you just think he’s shy and resolve to be kind to him no matter what.)

You mesh into the group perfectly, Kuwabara looking on with pride as you make friends with ease. 

KURAMA

Unsurprisingly, Kurama is not nearly as gushy or effusive as Kuwabara.

No, Kurama is way more subtle about how he introduces you.

For one thing, he doesn’t gush about you when you’re not around.

He’s mentioned you to his friends, but he’s generally quite private about his relationships.

They know who you are and some basic facts about your life, but you’re pretty mysterious overall.

The fact that he’s introducing you to his friend group is proof that he’s serious about you, tbh. You never would’ve met them if you weren’t important.

Kurama gently introduces you to everyone at a social event (one he chose quite carefully for an atmosphere he thinks will put you at ease).

He doesn't babysit you, introducing you to everyone and then letting you make friends as you see fit.

Kurama watches from afar, shooting you smiles from across the room whenever you catch his eye.

He’ll intervene if you seem uncomfortable, but otherwise he trusts you to handle yourself, confident you’ll make a good impression. He’s with you for a reason, after all. 

HIEI

This little shit.

No one knew he was seeing anyone, let alone that he had a formal S/O!

He’s literally never talked about you once.

He just shows up with you in tow one day and they’re like “??? Who?? Who is that???”

And he just casually drops your name and lets you fill in the labels and stuff.

You stumble a bit over what to call Hiei, TBH, but they all seem to get it even if you avoid the word “boyfriend” (that label seems juvenile and your relationship with Hiei is anything but that).

Yusuke teases Hiei a lot once they realize who you are, and Kurama keeps shooting Hiei knowing looks, and Kuwabara sputters about being left out of the loop again, but all in all everyone is super welcoming.

They’re also super curious about you, because Hiei dating someone is a foreign concept for everyone involved.

Kuwabara starts off a little reluctant/suspicious (he’s not sure what to make of someone Hiei would date) but soon he sees you’re awesome and warms up to you.

They all eagerly welcome you into the fold and ask you lots of questions.

Eventually Hiei gets tired of it and basically drags you away while you wave over your shoulder, saying you’ll see them soon (you hope).

You like all of Hiei’s friends and they like you a lot in return.

Hiei isn’t sure if he likes how well you get along with everyone, though.

Is he going to have to share you with them now, or…?

YUSUKE

Elephant in the room: Yukimura Keiko

Yusuke and Keiko were super serious when they dated, but they didn’t work out as romantic partners and instead remain good friends, which suits them much better.

So when Yusuke meets you and realizes he’s interested, he’s… well, he’s not sure what he’s doing, TBH.

The pair of you start off as friends (because that’s how he started off with Keiko and he doesn’t know how else to go about dating anyone).

This means that when Yusuke introduces you to his friend group for the first time, he introduces you as a friend, and as a friend only.

But Keiko is a smart lady, and she takes one look at the way you and Yusuke bicker and banter, and she knows.

She can see the way you look at Yusuke, and she sees how he looks at you, and Keiko spent enough time pining after Yusuke to recognize someone else pining after him when she sees it.

She takes great pains to make you feel welcome, making sure you don’t feel weird about hanging out with Yusuke’s ex in the room.

And then in private, she absolutely lays into Yusuke for not being more forthright with you about his feelings.

“We danced around each other for years, and look where it got us!” Keiko tells him as he stares at his feet, pouting. “You need to be honest! Confess how you feel, and soon!”

Keiko is the smartest person Yusuke knows (aside from maybe Kurama), so while it takes him a while to work up the courage, he eventually comes around and takes her advice to confess.

Basically, the act of Yusuke introducing you to his friends is what brought the two of you together as a couple, and Keiko remains your biggest advocate in your relationship with Yusuke.

Thank you so much for reading! It was nice to address the Keiko element in the Yusuke section; it’s tough to write X-reader pieces for characters who are in canon relationships, so working her into it felt natural.

Sypnosis: Every day, Shuichi visits and brings her flowers. He was her ideal boyfriend, yet, she knew that they would be nothing more than just friends. However, a certain visit from him proved her otherwise.

"Lalala~ Hmmmm~" You hummed while watering your precious garden. Your garden had plenty of flowers, a few herbs and shrubs, and one sakura tree. Every day, a certain redhead gives you different kinds of flowers as a gift. You loved the redhead, he was kind, polite, and most of all, handsome. Shuichi Minamino, your ideal boyfriend. You wished that the redhead was your boyfriend, but he is nothing more than a best friend. Well, that's what you always thought. Though, a certain brunette told you that Shuichi had fallen for you, which you actually didn't believe. But there is a possibility, is there?

"I hope Shuichi would visit me today..." You mumbled to yourself, pouting a bit. You are living alone, both of your parents were working abroad. And Shuichi always visits you at your place to keep you company, which is why you are always expecting him to come. After you finished watering the flowers, you wipe away the sweat on your face then place the water bucket back in its place. You smile to yourself while admiring your finished work. "Might as well as clean myself" You stated then entered the house. You removed your gardening clothes and then headed to the bathroom.

You entered inside and then locked the door. You strip all of your dirty clothes then put them inside the hamper. You step inside the shower and then turn it on. "Hmmmm~ I wonder what kind of flower Shuichi will give me today~" You wondered while thoroughly cleaning your body. After showering, you exit the bathroom with your bathrobe and then head towards your room. Once you enter inside, you search for a clean dress in your closet. You got out a [f/c] Chinese dress that reaches your ankle, it is strapless, covers your neck, and has a slip from the end up to your knee. You dried your [h/c] hair using a hair blower and then tied it into [f/h]. You put on some powder and a lip gloss. "Shuichi will be here any moment now," You said, putting the lip gloss down on your table.

Just after you finished, there was a knock on the door. "Coming!" You yelled while hurrying down the stairs. When you arrived in front of the door, you opened it quickly with glee. Standing outside your door revealed a handsome young man with crimson hair and emerald eyes. "This is for you, milady" He gave you a bouquet of several different flowers. "Thank you" You accepted the gift and then smelled the fragrant flowers. "Come in" You step aside for him to enter. Once he was inside, you unwrapped the bouquet and placed the bundle of flowers in a large vase filled with water. Shuichi sat on the couch and admired your features, he had to admit, you look gorgeous in that dress.

"I'll make some tea, Shuichi. Please stay here for a while" You informed him as you entered the kitchen, your dress trailing behind. "Take your time, [Name]" Shuichi replied. While waiting for you, the redhead played with his signature rose. "My love is sweet as the rose..." He muttered, smiling to himself. "Here" A cup of tea was placed on the coffee table in front of the redhead, he snapped out from his gaze and then smiled at you. "You're welcome" You understood what his smile meant and then smiled back, sitting next to him. "Hey, Shuichi" You called, tugging on his sleeve a bit. "Yes?" He looked at you after he took a sip of his tea. "Care for some quotes that I made?" You asked, eyes pleading for him to say yes. "Of course" He chuckled then placed the cup down.

"Okay, here it is" You took a deep breath then straightened your posture. "Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine to the soul" Shuichi smiled at your first quote. The flowers that surround your place inspired you to make quotes about it, and he is proud of you because of that. "Flowers are the music of the ground. From earth's lips spoken without sound," There comes the second one. "Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature" The third. "Love is the flower you've got to let grow" This one earns the redhead's attention. "Life is a flower, so precious in your hand" This one is about life. "A flower cannot blossom without sunshine, and man cannot live without love" is another one that earns his attention.

"Really [Name]?" He smiled. "I don't know, I just thought about it" You shrugged. He referred the question to your 6th quote. He just smiled. "The rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart" You continued, eyes closed while reciting the quote. You personally love this quote, and a certain green-eyed male started a liking to it too. "Well, that's it! Do you like it?" You said, turning your attention to him. He is awestruck, you can say that he liked your quotes very much. "That was wonderful, [Name]" He complimented. "Thanks" You blushed at his compliment. "But you know..." He said, earning your full attention. "My love is sweet as the rose" He stated. He looked at you and locked eyes with yours for a while, you could melt under his beautiful gaze. You didn't also realize that your face is only an inch apart from him, before slowly leaning in. Both of your lips touched and you stayed like that for a while, kissing your beloved future boyfriend.

- He hates seeing you get hurt tho...your one of the most precious people to him so if he sees you getting hurt...he’ll actually go berserk. Especially if you're human and have no abilities whatsoever.

- Since he has a lot of enemies, they will use you against him, and when they do, trust me they’ll get spirit gun-ed outside of existence lol

- If your injury is a minor one, then he isn’t really all that worried! He just lets you deal with it since he knows you can take care of it yourself.

- But if its a serious one...expect him to get really mad, he’ll start asking you questions like ‘Who did this to you?’ or ‘Give me their name!’ basically like an angry Bakugo.

- Once you give him a name, he’ll go and teach that person or demon a lesson. Don’t worry about him, his not the one getting hurt after all :)

- When his done, he’ll ask Genkai (Because you were brought to her) how your doing, and ones he knows your gonna be fine. He’ll rest easy and go to you and scold you.

- In reality, he really is worried about you...I mean you've stuck yourself to him this far, and he knows how insufferable he is sometimes.

- So don’t leave him early...alright?

- His an absolute sweetheart, the first thing he’ll do when your hurt is to make you smile<3

- For him if your happy his happy, but it doesn't mean that he isn't mad at whoever hurt you. He will stick his spirit sword up their ass you bet yea he will.

- If its a minor injury, he’ll just kiss the pain away! he saids, which earned him a bonk from Shizuru lol

- He also lets you pet and cuddle his cat. Eikichi, yea he’ll get jealous because he wants to cuddle with you but he’ll tolerate it, because you both are so cute :3

- If its serious...you best believe he’ll start panicking, he’ll calm down once your fine but...his still worried and also sad that he couldn't protect you...

- Like his supposed to be your knight in shining amor! The best boyfriend to you! So his actually really sad. Once you noticed that his upset, please comfort him :(

- But all in all, he’ll try and make you smile and happy because to him, he doesn't wanna see you sad or hurting. No....thats not what a man does!

- Lets just say the person who hurt you won’t be alive for that long. No, their not gonna get a beating, oh no, their actually gonna face the wrath of Yoko Kurama. No one touches what's his.

- Now since we have Yoko and Shuichi, Shuichi would most likely have a chat with that person first and then see what he wants to do, but Yoko on the other hand, would want to kill that said person.

- But the thing is, he can’t do that, or otherwise the spirit world will be on his ass about it...so a little torturing wouldn't hurt....right?

- Also if this was a demon obviously that said demon who hurt you is gonna die a slow death, like Elder Toguro for example :)

- If its a human...well I guess scaring that human to death is more then appropriate~

- If its a minor injury that was caused by you, his fine with that! He’ll just ask you to be careful next time :)

- But if someone causes it...well their getting a way to calm smile from him :>

- After his dealt with everything, he goes back to check up on you, if your fine then he’ll smile lovingly at you, only you get to see that smile by the way ;3

- He’ll whisper sweet words to you, cuddle you, comfort you, words of promises, and basically be the best (fox) boyfriend you can ask for!

- Looks like he doesn't care but actually cares, when his informed of you getting  hurt minor or serious, he isn't exactly gonna be by your side in an instant. More like just watching you from afar.

- His a silent protector by all means, his like Xiao (from genshin) a protector who would rather follow you and look after you from afar (isn't that stalking?)

- If its a human then he can’t really kill that human...because of that damn spirit world so he’ll...just give them a warning.

- If its a demon, then that demon is gonna be burned to a crisp aka ashes. Thats all.

- When he finally decided to visit you, he’ll call you an idiot for putting yourself in danger like that, but on the inside (he just won't admit it) he does care. He just doesn't know how to show it.

- If you ask him to stay by your side while you rest, he’ll complain yet he’ll actually stay by your side until you're healed.

- Hiei will show that he cares through small actions, such as, carrying you wherever you wanna go (With a complain) and actually cuddling you :0

- Hiei loves you, he just doesn't know how to show it but he does, and trust me. Anyone who hurts you, will be burned to ashes.

‘’Hmph..your an idiot if you thought that you could take on a demon like that, what? now you want me to carry you around? Hmph.....your lucky...’’

small drabble for @yyh-revival’s character appreciation week, this week featuring kurama ♡

The shell of your nail is a deep red. Curved and shiny on its place resting at the top of your fingers. If you had done them yourself, there’d be faint traces of paint along the edges of your skin. Underneath the nail and sometimes the thumb.

Kurama takes the hand you were staring at, wrapping his own strong fingers around your wrist. With your legs draped over his on the bed, sitting up to watch your movie as he finishes with your nails. You watch him as he spreads your fingers wide, palm facing outward, so that he can blow softly on each fingertip.

The room is dim with the soft glow coming off the small television screen. Its light cascades off his serene face. He’s relaxed. Unguarded as he casually takes your other hand and repeats the action.

“Have you seen this movie before?” You whisper not to startle him. Living with him comes with an endless list of perks, but just being with him in quiet moments like this is by far the best.

“No,” he hums as he watches the two actors on the screen. He settles back to rest against the pillows propped up on the headboard, pulling you down with him.

But you’re not facing the movie. Haven’t been for a few minutes now. Your hands hover delicately over the space between you two, your left wrist still in Kurama’s grasp. You’re facing his chest. Staring at the faded gray undershirt he wears around the house. At his collar bones peeking out of it. The curve of his jaw. The faint hairs that would one day make up a beard if he ever stopped shaving. And the memory of licking his cheek resurfaces, the prickly hairs rough against your flat tongue.

Kurama moves his hand away from your wrist to entangle his fingers into your hair. Gently rubbing at the back of your neck, soothing your nerves and massaging away your worries.

Casually affectionate, even when his attention is elsewhere.

His red hair falls around his shoulders and on the pillows, smelling lightly of rose and the lavender lotion you two had picked out. You sometimes stray red strands tangled up in the bedsheets or on the bathroom floor. And it brings you peace every time. Every sign of his presence bringing you peace.

When you gently place one hand on his chest, splaying your fingers flat against the warm fabric, you can feel his heart beating just beneath the skin.

Kurama moves again, eyes ever trained on the screen, to press a velvet soft kiss on your warm forehead.

As the heat and the butterflies spread through your veins like creamer into coffee, you snuggle closer into his chest more soundly as you drift off to sleep.

Okay, my Tumblr Peeps🐰 Mirko is definitely one of the characters I have been wanting to write about for a while. She's one of the pro heroes in, My Hero Academia, who I have been fascinated with in 1st sight to be honest🐰 So I figured I would try writing about her now to see how it goes🐰👍

How to Show Mirko, Love, Time, Attention, And A Fun Time🐰💜🌙(Rumi Usagiyama (aka, Mirko)(My Hero Academia) x Any Gender Reader)

Genres: Head cannon(?) And Fluff

* If you do look for any gifts, she's doesn't seem to be excited to get flowers. She would be okay with flowers and chocolates, however unlike she doesn't seem the person to be into flowers or candy in general (tough she will appreciate the effort). She would prefer something for exercising equipment, or boxing gloves or punching bag (the actual equipment type of punching bag) or tickets to a fighting event (in a fighting arena) even carrots, as they make perfect gifts for her and will very likely thrilled about them (as in carrots and other stuff mentioned for gifts in this sentence, type of them).

*Mirko would be be a fun pro hero to hangout with. If you were to invite her to places like the night club, or fighting arenas, or any restaurant that pertains carrots, or anything else she likes, then she would definitely come with you there. Those reasons are that they're fun places to go and/or these places (and/or events) interests her alot. Seriously,if these places interests her or the events interests you and if she likes (and respects) you, she would be more happy to come with you.

*If someone someone were to badmouth you or Mirko or both you and her, while you're hanging out with Mirko, she will wait to see, if you tell that person or those people off. If you do end up telling that person/those people off by saying how you feel about (him/her/them) badmouthing you and/or Mirko. She would snicker at the expense of that person or those people, due to the fact you were telling (him/her/them) off. Not only she will respect you, however she will be more than proud of you as well.

*She would be surprised, if she knows in anyway about you atleast trying out in a fighting match. So, if you do win the match, she would be impressed and definitely proud of you. However, if you somehow didn't win the match (even if you dominated the match), she still would be happy for you due to the fact you gave fighting matches a try. Tough depending on the circumstance she would literally in a physical was the opponent who defeated you in a submission move after challenging the opponent in a fight in a fighting match.

*She may not appear the cuddling type, however don't let her appearance fool you. She may be a very tough pro hero, however that doesn't mean she doesn't have a soft side to her. She prefers no one else, except you to know. So, if she trusts you and you're also alright with cuddle time, she will be more than happy to let you know about the fact she secretly would enjoy cuddle time at least once in a while and she would also be more than happy to cuddle with you.

I decided to do this head cannon(?) fanfic (or fanfics in general) a little differently. I decided instead of doing the usual plot of "The character and reader meeting eachother" or stuff very similar and rather work on the the unusual to start with something else at the beginning of this particular fanfic with Mirko in it. For atleast a year or so ago I did want to work with a fanfic pertaining her, however I'm very happy to work with a fanfic pertaining Mirko while managing to figure out how to write this head cannon(?) type of fanfic. So I hope you have fun reading this fanfic, as much as, I had fun with writing it and I hope this fanfic makes your day from reading it🌙💜��😁👍

Reader here is gender neutral(They/Them) and this will be in the form of headcanons, also I wanted to do both hope you don't mind huhuhu~

Hiei is...a little oblivious in all honesty, he probably thinks you did something to him....

But as soon as he shows how different he acts around you and the others notice this, they will confront Hiei about it.

Once they say his in love, the first thing his gonna in a lot of in denial.

Like how can he fall for a weak human?? Thats the question that runs through his brain all the time.

He thought that it was lust, like a sexual thing but he was wrong....his the definition of 'He fell first and fell harder'.

Once he realizes that he actually wants you to be his mate for life, he will never ever let you go.

He will do these little things that will show how he cares for you, and you might think its because y'all are friends but nooo, he never did those things to Kurama or the others now did he?

He wanted you to confess first but of course in the end this man is impatient soo he decided to confess first!

''Go out with me mortal'' Hiei saids to you looking straight into your eyes ''W-What?'' You respond ''Did I stutter?'' He snarled and you just nod while blushing and thats how y'all because a couple!

Basically when Hiei realizes his in love, the first thing he'll do is be in denial, about how he could fall for a human.

Then he'll have a talk session with Kurama, probs asking for advice, waits for you to confess first(But gets impatient so in the end confesses first) and dropping barely noticeable hints.

Hiei having a crush is very much new to him, so do cut him some slack~

Kurama having a crush is....interesting to say the least.

Now Kurama wouldn't care much for looks, the first thing is personality and how well you'll get along with his family.

But he'll be the type where 'You fell first but he fell harder' and when he does it hits him real hard.

Unlike Hiei there's no denial, its more like ''What am I feeling?''

When he asks his mom and tells her everything, he discovers that what he feeling was love....

Love for you? How unexpected.

At first he would try to push those feelings away since he doesn't want you to get involved in things that are none of your business.

Yoko at first also just wanted to use you for...somethings but soon fell hard for you just like Shuichi did.

I feel like the time when Shuichi confessed to you, Yoko was itching to take over Shuichi and just kiss hug you lol

He definitely confesses first, with the flowers and beneath a tree.

''Are you be free this coming weekend?'' Kurama asked kissing your Backhand, you blushed and just nodded to his question due to being embarrassed. ''Hm..good, I would love to take you on a...date~'' Kurama said smiling tenderly at you but his cheeks have darken shades of pink. ''O-Oh...i..I'll see you then!'' You unintentionally yell, he just chuckles and kissed your backhand again.

When Kurama falls in love, as I stated above. He falls hard.

He will be the best boyfriend you'll ever have!(Not like you guys will break up)

Blind Date - Bonus Drabble: Youko

Summary: Kurama finally shows you his original form.

A/N: This has been stuck in my head since before working on the oneshot Blind Date. Had to get this out. So hey… Bonus Pretzel!

Masterlist

After almost a year of dating, Kurama brought you back to his apartment, telling you there was something he wanted to show you. He sat you down on his couch and stood back to put plenty of space around him. With a deep breath, he closed his eyes.

The air in the room suddenly felt heavy and a fog danced across the room, obscuring your sight. It only lasted a few moments but it was long enough for anticipation to bubble through your veins. In Kurama’s place was a man standing proud with silvery white hair that seemed to glow in the limited light of the night. His amber eyes you knew you had seen before gleamed at you brightly. Youko.

You pulled yourself to your feet and slowly circled him, Youko’s tail swishing back and forth as his ears curiously twitched. His gaze followed you even as you stopped in front of him. You crossed your arms with an irritated pout and looked him up and down.

“This is just unfair.”

Youko tilted his head at you without a word. The only thing breaking his poker face was the confusion swirling deep in his eyes.

“You were already taller than me. Now this? That’s like… What, another foot added?” A smirk overshadowed your pout.

His shoulders shook as he burst out in laughter, having expected any response other than what you gave. He pulled at your arms to uncross them and bring you to him. His hug was still just as warm as it was in his human form, your face smooshed right above his abdomen. You weren’t even close to being tall enough to reach his shoulders.

You wrapped your arms around him as much as you could. “I’m happy you trust me enough to show me this side of you.”

His grip tightened a second before he pulled back enough to bend down and nuzzle his face in your hair.

“But seriously,” you huffed, “stop being so damn tall.”
