Do you think being a DID system changes your experience in your practice? How does it compare to how you think a singlet may practice? Does it make it easier? Does it make it harder?

Is there any way you manage headmates wanting to worship different gods? This can be different gods within the same pantheon or gods from entirely different religions. For religions that set up shrines and altars and that kind of stuff, how do you decide which deities to set up altars for?

If there is a specific headmate or group of headmates that practice a different religion, do you maintain their sacred spaces and practices, even if you don't personally hold the same beliefs?

How do you manage remembering things like vows and votive offerings? What happens if someone else in the system makes a vow and you don't remember it when you return to front?

Hey all, Fire Here! Back at it again with another update. Like I said last week, not much to really update. From this point on its really just assembling the kit and playtesting. So while blogs won't be filled with new art or character drops really, allow me to offer the little bit of info I can without hitting my spoiler threshold.

First off, I'm very happy with where the script is at right now! Between Twine, Google Calendars, and Google Docs I've got a triple threat helping me plot out the story and it's gone great! That stuff is top secret, as, yknow

BUT I will share a small, inconsequential lore bit about the world Messier takes place in.

"The Night of Spirits: The Night of Spirits is a religious holiday that is celebrated in the Corvern Kingdom.

In villages and small towns, it is a low-key affair, where the villagers/townsfolk gather for a group feast to celebrate the lives of the dead at sundown. Once the moon rises, the kitchens close, and once the remaining food is finished family’s retire to their homes to honor the dead in private. A tradition is for younger family members to make or assist in making something, that is then offered to a shrine or gravestone.

In cities and larger towns, however, the tone is wildly different. A festival is thrown to honor the dead, but it carries a less somber tone. Games, food stalls, and performances open up at the start of dusk, and continue well on into the night. Private memorials in the home are still performed, but it is a person-by-person decision rather than a village/town tradition."

Whelp, I'm out of things to talk about. As time marches on, so do I, and while I am pacing myself in SMT VV, I am absolutely going to be dropping it for a bit to violently and ravenously consume the Tsukihime remake when I get my grubby hands on it Friday.

I'll also not be pacing myself in developing Messier Mystes, and will throw myself into a wall until I spit out a finished project.

Imagine right a fic w/ Thoma where you’re, like, a person with a high position / of vv influence / gd royalty you get the gist from another nation, and with Inazuma’s borders slowly opening up again (sort of) you come to Inazuma for a much needed rest from your responsibilities. You intended for it to be low-key, and to just have a nice quiet time to yourself as you explore the nation that you hadn’t been able to go to yet, but one thing leads to another, people learn that someone of high standing such as urself is in Inazuma, and one of the clans you have sorta relations with from past dealings holds a celebration in order to welcome you. 

They invite quite some influential people, since they think that you must be here to build relations or smthn. Among those invited are the Kamisato clan, and to be polite, Ayaka attends, along with Thoma. Although you meet both of them formally during the celebration, later on when most of the guests have had too much saké, you manage to slip away to catch your breath, and as you do you run into Thoma.

You both end up talking, and you eventually tell him the real reason why you came to Inazuma. You tell him that you’re tired, that you longed for a break and just some peace, only to find yourself stuck in a celebration you’re too polite to back out of. Thoma offers to take you around Inazuma, to let you see the sights and take the vacation you really want. You accept only after he assures that it’s okay and that it can be counted as him extending the connections of the Kamisato clan.

So for the next week, Thoma shows up every morning at the inn you stay in. He brings you out to have some breakfast at Kiminami Restaurant, then he takes you sightseeing around the whole of Inazuma. He brings you to the Grand Narukami shrine, where you pull fortune slips and watch the sun set over the land. You spend an afternon in Chinju forest, where you run your fingers through the flowers and get your feet wet in the river. You go to Ritou, where he buys you dinner and places a crown of flowers in your hair.

For the rest of your time there, you wander the land of Inazuma, slowly getting used to the way it feels to walk beside Thoma and to hear his voice. You begin to grow fond of the way he smiles and when he laughs in a way that gives you butterflies. You learn more about him, too–– how he’s from Mondstadt, how he’d gone through trials and hardships yet still remained the kind person he is today. Little by little, as you spend more time together, you gradually fall in love with him.

So gradually, in fact, that you don’t even realize he’s falling for you too.
