I’m actually vaguely motivated for once so here is some more sj au this time with Yurio and OL Agape and their tiger print set (it has polos that go with it but agape always manages to get them loose no matter how much they tape them up)

There’s more of this but I’m gonna save it for later so here’s the basics on our dear Yurio in the sj au universe:

Yurio’s position is the most embarrassing thing to happen to showjumping full stop.

There has never ever been a picture taken of Yurio in which he has his heels down

Yurio is also very vocal with his encouragements for his horses, whether it be growling or telling agape that she is a good girl

Yurio delves into eventing for a little while as he enjoys xc (how he meets Otabek) and he usually makes fun of how small the fences are until one day he rolls a pole in the showjumping at novice (1.10) and Viktor and Yuuri never let him get away with it

Yuuri and Viktor hold a celebration for Yurio what he gets his first sub 45 score out eventing in the dressage

the most common comment Yurio and Agape get from fence judges is ‘well they got through the flag but I’m not sure quite how they managed it’

He also has a bad habit of jumping bounce combinations as one fence – this includes bounce steps

Yurio cannot plait for shit although agape is a palomino he always wants to use black plaiting bands and they end up looking like matted balls of fur anyway so usually he is distracted while the job is done by someone else slightly more competent

Yurio has a large collection of leopard print rugs

He has leopard and tiger complete matchy matchy as a present from Viktor at some point (complete with very spangly browbands becuause ‘are you really a showjumper unless you blind at least one person as you come into the arena?’- Viktor at some point before buying another custom bling saddle)

Yurio’s Instagram is pictures of him jumping his horses with emphasis on how big the fences are and edits of his rounds to hard core metal (he also has a Yuuri fan account which is edits of pro footage of Yuuri with music over them with ALL the effects from video star)

He has a very strong hatred for hair nets despite refusing to keep his hair short

Yurio really cares for Agape, she gets an abscess and he stays up all night tubbing her foot, ‘she looks after me on the course I look after her off it’ he says with huge purple bags under his eyes

so I’m actually doing something for this but its takin a lot longer than I thought it would because of revision and mental state but here’s some more yoi sj au including viktor and chris doing an Isabel Werth and Carl Hester impression with their champagne on the podium (i have a v strong hc that Viktor likes to wear his sashes in weird ways (’its called fashion Yakov!’) once hes done his official photos, at the 2014 world cup after a lot of champagne its stolen by a very bold japanese showjumper who had an awful horse fall in the second rounds)
