[ 🧱 ] how would you describe your muses’ morality? what are their core values?[ 🌎 ] are there any aus you have for your muse? what are they like, and how is your muse different in them?[ 😱 ] does your muse have any specific fears? where did those fears come from?[ 🤝 ] how does your muse approach intimacy? are they hesitant, or do they like it? what types of intimacy do they like and dislike? (ex. physical intimacy, sexual intimacy, emotional intimacy, etc.)
1. Has been answered! 3. Has been answered!
4. Has been answered!
In regards to AUs, I have quite a few. Because I now have a FC for Sal that depicts him as a minor, I have a verse where I can portray him in his younger years. He's pretty harmless, hasn't even killed anyone yet - let alone know what wise guys actually do when they're not sitting outside shop corners. (Beyond be 'wise,' he supposes) If anything he's just an annoying, loud kid that hides the fact he's terribly lonely. 😔
Tumblr media
Then, I of course have a millennial verse for Sal. Behavior wise he's the same, but he is different in multiple ways. For example, he listens to modern pop & rap because it's been incredibly commonplace from the time he was growing up to now. His mother was in a interracial relationship with a black man (something his mother wasn't that bold to do when Sal was growing up) and he engages with social media.
But more importantly than that, this version of Sal has a non-existent interest in the mafia. Because it's not as though he's a kid in "the old days" where wise guys were influential in his neighborhood. Additionally, organized crime has been commercialized with programs such as Mob Wives, I Married A Mobster or Made In Staten Island. For Sal, this paints a certain image for modern day organized crime. He feels that it consists of old men who don't nearly hold as much power as they did. He feels its kind of...lame, for lack of a crueler word.
Therefore, Sal is a mercenary or gun for hire, as a millennial. He likes working for himself.
Also there's a Sim Version of Millennial Sal who was a once a drug dealer, now an average nobody trying to just survive in my story, "Mean Streets." He's the same in some regards, and different in others because it's a more light-hearted story. With the murder and crime, he feels...relatable lmao. :| This is me promoting my story.
Tumblr media
Finally, I've been playing with the concept of verses where Sal runs a casino in Las Vegas. In this verse, it happens because his mother moves to the west coast and settles down, working as a seamstress for showgirls. However, this places Sal in the presence of gangsters rooted in Nevada that he models himself after. It's the same Sal, but in a different location.

thanks for the rec! i'll definitely have to check it out. i've been looking for a new show to start watching (after i watch s2 of the witcher of course lmao). i don't know anything about the dc universe so i won't have any preconceived notions going in. i don't know if that will be an advantage or disadvantage lmao
yeah, i feel like to enjoy fic writing, you have to be at least a little self-indulgent. usually for gift exchanges i try to find things both me and my giftee like and build from there, so the experience is good for both of us!
it looks like it was a pretty fun convention. they had some cast members from jatp and hsm there too. oh, no, i definitely don't ship actors together. i just love that they're willing to do fun poses for their fans. they're such good friends even years after descendants. so heartwarming to see that.
valid. some fandoms can be incredibly toxic, so i get that. i've never been to any descendants events either, but i would love to meet some of the cast members. that's so fun that you got to watch descendants with your roommate! i always find it fun to see my friends' reactions to the movies, see which ships they like, etc. most of the time they have good taste lmao
what are some of your favorite feel-good movies? or could you recommend me some songs that make you really like to listen to?
- gifter anon
it's fine if you know nothing about the dc universe if you watch the show. the dcau was many many Many people's intro into that world, so it's kinda perfect xD
but ahhh i'm kinda jealous of you! i wish i could experience the show for the first time again xD tho tbh i don't think it would change much. i love it so much that i get lost in it whenever i do rewatches
oh, i didn't mean shipping the actors. i just meant. like people nowadays like to do this thing of seeing an actor do something completely unrelated to a character/franchise/ship, and be like "see, this totally unrelated, out of character, completely human reaction is totally Proof that headcanon/fanon/ship is real!!!" when. actors are just people who have no real ties to the character they play in real life??
but! it is really nice to know costars actually like each other lol i remember being all up in my feelings during the aida obc reunion stream and the cast was nothing but gushing endearments for each other!
hmmmm feel-good. idk lmao i'm not sure if what falls under feel-good for me is the same as for other people lol if you mean what i can rewatch over and over or rewatch when i need a pick me up, then: prince of egypt, ever after, down with love, shawshank redemption, bachelor mother, syfy's alice, teen beach 2, book of life, the young victoria, working girl, stardust, howl's moving castle, power rangers 2017, night at the museum, kiss of the dragon, zombies, the prince and the showgirl, annnnd i guess that's enough lmao
i'm not big on songs i'm afraid... if it isn't from a musical or soundtrack or something, i wouldn't know it. i kinda don't know any of today's music, i grew up on classic/1990s country and solid gold oldies, so. i might not be the best to ask for music recs lmao
