compiling a list of my Weird Tumblr Accomplishments:

- had a post reblogged by heritageposts and had to ask them to delete it because i was getting too many notifications

- three separate posts that are Pretty Goddamn Big considering the fandoms they're in [30,000 note homestuck post, 5,000 note dwampyverse post, 500-ish note brobecks post]

- accidentally made someone on twitter ask dallon weekes if he knew what furries were

- had an ex-online-friend who was part of the friend group that gave me lasting trauma as a 12 year old reach out to me via anon ask [he joined the military[?] and hadn't been online in 5 years] [i thought he died]

- obtained at least one mutual from The Forbidden Blog

- was a bystander to an incredibly elaborate roleplay community by way of making a secret blog to make fun of redditors

I'm alive and active on main, but yeah showerfam is kind of dead now. I'm sure Gay can incite a second renaissance if she wants to. But yeah, I'll probably still fuck around on this blog every now and then.

Ah yes, the very beginning. Almost everyone knows about just-shower-thoughts well enough. Of course, since we're all petty fucks on this webbed site, someone started just-shower-responses. Then someone started just-shower-responses-responses. You can imagine this started a bit of a chain, and besides that chain a lot of other just-shower-[WORD] blogs.

I am one of those early blogs at the dawn of showerfam, and so were Narrator and Llawer, though it was called the shower cult/coven then (Cult at first, but then after finding out you could get in trouble for using that word, the coven). Skipping over all the drama, bla bla bla, the early coven was kinda toxic and honestly that discord server sucked ass, coven slowly died. If you're there for most of it, you might be aware of the shrekening, which no one ever mentions anymore. Annoyingly.

Then around the end of 2020 (Yes, pip was already around then) I made a post that said something like "I can't keep track of all the responders by pfp anymore". This prompted the shower renaissance, because like I said, petty fucks. And yeah, pip made a list, which failed horribly. Since then, Gay probably became the biggest blog, and seems to be the one gaining traction outside of the showerfam circles. Which is fair because Gay is probably the funniest of all of us, though sometimes unintentionally.
