what films and books are you most into?
i like classic prose and especiallyyyyyy poetry more than contemporary literature (excluding literary criticism, ofc). my fave authors and poets are john keats, mary shelley, mary wollstonecraft, jane austen, christina rossetti, virginia woolf, sylvia plath, charlotte and emily bronte (sadly i’m yet to read anything of anne’s), han kang, sappho, and emily dickinson. shoutout to keats for being the only man on that list lmfao
i have a love-hate relationship with oscar wilde where i like... love the way he writes but find him SUPER obnoxious, so reading him is such a weird thing for me. if i manage to ignore his personality, his plays and dorian gray are great, though. i also like mary oliver, carol ann duffy, and e.e. cummings too, but i need to read more of their works! shakespeare is also a given so i’ll add him at the end, but i do think he’s a bisexual icon (along with woolf, actually)
as for the types of films i enjoy watching, i REALLY enjoy korean cinema (especially korean indies). the handmaiden and parasite are really popular but they are AMAZING (the handmaiden is one of my favourite films of absolute all time). i also adore period dramas - joe wright is one of my favourite directors, since he even managed to make an adaptation of a book i absolutely DESPISE (atonement, if anyone is wondering). pride and prejudice (2005, dir. joe wright) and emma (2020, dir. autumn de wilde) are two austen adaptations i will love forever bc they capture the essence of the novels PERFECTLY
i like indies in general, tbh! films by greta gerwig are great - little women is beautiful and saoirse ronan is a goddess. i also really enjoy wes anderson, though the grand budapest hotel is my absolute favourite! also, ofc, ghibli is a massive favourite - i have the PHATTEST!!! crush on howl lmao like i love him.

POTO Manila 2019 Experience
I crossed one thing off my bucket list last March 2, 2019.
Finally, finally, finally. I finally got the chance to witness my all-time favorite musical, The Phantom of the Opera, live. Anyone who really knows me knows that I am totally in love with this show.
I first learned about the existence of POTO when I was 10, when I first read an abridged version of the Gaston Leroux novel. Then I watched the 2004 film, starring Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum. Ever since then, I fell in love with the musical. I listened to the Original London Cast, with Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman, and Steve Barton. I watched the 25th anniversary, with Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess. I streamed countless YouTube videos. I wrote down the lyrics, memorized them by heart, and sang along even though I couldn’t reach the high notes, not for the life of me.
POTO became one of my passions, and (yes it sounds cheesy AF) also helped me become the person who I am today. It’s not my first musical (family friendly The Sound of Music is my first because my mom plays the Julie Andrews movie all the time), but it opened my obsession to musical theatre. Through POTO, I got to learn more about Broadway, theatre, and musicals.
I have my brother to thank for this wonderful experience. This was meant to be a birthday and graduation present all rolled into one. And it’s actually the best present I’ve ever received. Not only did he pay for all of my expenses, he also accompanied me and took my pictures! Shoutout to him for making one of my major dreams come true.
This was taken on our way to the theatre. It was a one-show day, and the play was going to start at 2:30 PM. I heard from my friend (who already saw the previews) told me I should be there as early as possible so I can take a lot of pictures before most of the audience arrive. And since I want to take as many photos as I can, my brother and I left our hotel as early as 12 noon.
Tumblr media
I was so excited I even took a photo of the theatre while we were in the car. My heart was pounding the entire time. My head was reeling. I still couldn’t believe I was there. It felt like a dream I had before. And believe me when I say I dreamt a lot for this moment.
When we got closer to the theatre, I saw a big poster just right outside. I gave out an excited squeal. “I got to take a picture of that!” I told my brother.
Tumblr media
And so I did.
Before entering, we noticed there was some Phantom stuff just right outside by the entrance. Aside from the make-up closet (which is self-explanatory), I didn’t know what was inside of the rest of the boxes but I still took some photos nonetheless. I still had a lot of energy around this time.
Tumblr media
This was by the entrance: some posters of the musical productions that toured in Manila before. (From left to right: Chicago, Singin’ in the Rain, Les Misérables, Wicked, West Side Story, and The Sound of Music)
Tumblr media
After entering the building, I saw this amazing backdrop and of course, immediately posed in front of it......
Tumblr media
.....only to learn the words “The Phantom of the Opera” were cropped so I told my brother we had to go back so we can take a proper picture again.
Tumblr media
And there we go.
We went to the second floor afterwards, which was where the theatre was located. And this was when the “taking of photos” spree began.
Exhibit A: Mask, roses, and candelabras. Yep, that’s the whole show right there.
Tumblr media
I’m kind of bummed that they didn’t really have a photoshoot for the World Tour. I mean it’s nice to see Kelly Matheison from the West End cast because she’s adorable and gorgeous, but I would love to see some Meghan Picerno HD posters too.
Tumblr media
Don’t mind me, I’m just posing here with the POTO posters.
Tumblr media
Exhibit B: Ah love this shiny, sparkly mask. Yes, the pic is sadly a bit blurry.
Tumblr media
Exhibit C: My brother told me to go sit down on the floor and pretend to be Christine, but there was no way I’m doing that with that dress. I wanted to put on the cloak and the mask, but decided I should go with the rose instead.
Tumblr media
Exhibit D: “Look at yourself in the mirror, I am there inside!” This is my favorite picture, which also refers to my favorite part in the musical.
Tumblr media
Exhibit E: Yeah at this point I was running out of poses. Standing and smiling at the camera was getting boring.
Tumblr media
Oh, and would you look at this! A production of Cats in November 2019, starring Joanna Ampil! Isn’t that amazing? She’s one of my favorite theatre actresses and I would kill to see her sing Memory live.
Anyway, what’s up with the Philippines and Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals?
Tumblr media
Yeah, what is up with Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Philippines? We just can’t get enough of it. I’d definitely want to watch Love Never Dies when it comes to Manila, even though I’m not such a big fan of the story. The music is brilliant, as well as the sets and costumes. Can we please have Meghan Picerno as Christine Daaé in this production once again? (And maybe throw in Jonathan Roxmouth, too, cause people love him so much here.)
Tumblr media
At this point, my brother already left me. He went back to the hotel while I sat on one of the couches, waiting for the theatre to let the audience in. I took a selfie with the brochure. I thought we were all given a program for free, but it turns out you still have to buy them in the gift shop.
Tumblr media
Yay! I’m finally inside. I was in the second row, which was very thrilling, especially since the chandelier was really close to me. I couldn’t wait for it to fall down at the end of Act 1!
Sadly, this is the only picture I had inside the theatre. I was so busy taking it all in that I forgot to take a selfie or something. I still couldn’t believe I was there.
Tumblr media
I cried as soon as the overture began to play. There are three possible reasons why I did so: one, I can’t believe I’m really here; two, the music was so beautiful, and three, the light from the chandelier made my eyes hurt lol. But, whatever the reason was, I assure you, there were some tears.
My first genuine cry was during The Mirror scene, when the Phantom showed himself in the mirror. It’s just a super iconic scene, and truly one of my favorites.
But the major highlight for me was Masquerade. Sure, I was expecting myself to cry during All I Ask of You (Reprise) or the Final Lair, but Masquerade overwhelmed me. The costumes were amazing up close! I’ve mentioned a lot of times before that POTO costumes are my favorite things ever. The intricately-designed Elissa dress, the fan-favorite Wishing dress, the iconic white robe, and of course, my personal favorite Aminta dress.
But the costumes during Masquerade was the highlight. I didn’t know where to look because I want to take it all in! The ensemble were great, too, and there was just a big fat stupid grin on my face the whole time.
You know, live theatre isn’t that perfect. I can hear the whirring of the machines as they change the backdrop and their heels clicking loudly onstage. I see them spit at each other’s faces. But damn it, it was beautiful. It’s raw and real, which is what theatre is all about.
Tumblr media
Sorry for the bad angle haha. This was the cast I saw my first POTO production and I’m eternally grateful at them for giving me a performance to remember. I was just so excited to see that I’m going to watch Jonathan Roxmouth and Meghan Picerno! I’ve seen a lot of videos of them rehearsing, and they both sounded heavenly. I was grinning from ear-to-ear.
Jonathan Roxmouth didn’t fail me. His voice was soft and angelic, and he truly embodied the Angel of Music. I got chills during The Mirror scene, as soon as he sang the words, “Insolent boy!” His Music of the Night was a spectacle, and his height difference with Meghan Picerno also helped. I don’t know why, but I really love it when the Phantom’s a great taller than Christine. Meghan only reached Jonathan’s chest, so their iconic “hug” scene during MoTN looked really good. He also glanced at me during All I Ask of You (Reprise) as he sang the words, “You will curse the day you did not do, all that the Phantom asked of you!” So that truly “made my night.”
Jonathan also scared the crap out of me during the Final Lair. He was truly menacing and just plain scary. I love scary Phantoms, and he definitely delivered! When he said the line, “You try my patience! Make your choice”, he put his face really close to Meghan, and I could definitely see him seethe angrily at her.
But he gained my sympathy in the last part when he started singing Masquerade to the music box. At that point, I was crying my eyes out already. I hope the people in my row didn’t judge me too harshly! No matter how many times I’ve seen POTO, I always cry during the Masquerade reprise.
On a side note, Jonathan’s really adorable in the curtain call. He made a Korean heart sign just after he bowed. Korean culture is really popular in the Philippines for some reason, and he earned a lot of laughs and claps from the audience when he did so.
Meghan Picerno, on the other hand, was the sweetest and sympathetic Christine ever. Okay, that’s a bit of a stretch since she’s the first Christine I saw live, and I’m a bit biased. Her crystal-clear vocals also didn’t fail. I’ve seen videos of her in Love Never Dies, and she was amazing there. Her Think of Me was just so pure, and her Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again made me teary eyed.
Meghan carried herself well. Not only was she a darling and innocent Christine, but she was also a fierce one too. During the Final Lair, when she said the words, “This haunted face holds no horror for me now, it’s in your soul that the true distortion lies”, her expression was not scared or anything. I just love that she could project a lot of emotions from Christine, and not only stick to one.
She also shared good chemistry with Jonathan Roxmouth, especially during The Point of No Return. The sexual tension between the Phantom and Christine was undeniable. The way they touched each other, even caressed each other in that scene was so, so, so good. It’s definitely one of the main highlights of the show for me.
And, of course, Matt Leisy was a darling Raoul. Just like his co-stars, his vocals were heavenly. His All I Ask of You is plain sweet. The way he hugged and twirled Christine at the end part of the song was also a major highlight for me. Also, he was very attentive to Christine, and he was protective of her - some important qualities that Raoul should have. In the Il Muto scene, when Christine started getting nervous that the Phantom was watching over her, I can’t help looking at Matt because he was so undeniably concerned and protective of her. And during Twisted Every Way, he was demanding, but at the same time, very considering.
Matt also worked well alongside Meghan. They balance well with each other. As a matter of fact, the three of them are great together. It’s obvious that they’re comfortable with each other onstage. The Final Lair was so thrilling, and it’s all thanks to them. I’m so happy that they get to be my first POTO Big 3.
Overall, the ensemble was great! I love them so much, and I’m extremely honored that I had them as my first ever POTO cast.
Tumblr media
Also, bought two souvenirs from the gift shop! A really cute necklace (which costs 1,500 PHP/28.75 USD) and a tote bag (800 PHP/15.33 USD). I wanted to buy the charm bracelet, too, but I feel like I’m going to have more fun with the necklace, compared to it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And there you have it! This was an extremely long post, but I want to immortalize my first POTO experience. I’m still in cloud nine, even though it has been almost three days now. It’s truly an experience I will never forget.

i know you're an advocate of sorts for asian rep so i wanna ask what your thoughts are about deadly class especially since lana is clearly being given a lot of the leading star exposure?
oooooo i love this. i am a big fan of lana, i think she’s great and needs more acknowledgement esp since in the wake of the tatilb movie, i felt like noah cent had more of a ‘big breakout’ moment than her, y’know? like just with their insta followers, the gap is appalling, but thats another issue for another day. also…readmore below too not spam the tags lmao
off to deadly class~
i love love love the premise of deadly class. the cast is superb (benedict wong hell yes) and the action scenes are really well done imo. please do keep in mind that i have not read the graphic novels so most of my thoughts will be from the live action series (the first ep + promo material, marketing, etc.)
i love the attention being given to lana. she clearly deserves it. call it a stark difference from her role as lara jean, but seeing her with that short wild hair with tattoos and riding around a motorcycle? wrow. love it. most promo materials ive been exposed to on insta and twitter is def putting the spotlight on lana and i love it! shoutout to maria faria and luke tennie as well! i knew tumblr had a q&a with them like a couple of months ago i think.
i do wanna point out some lil nitpicky things about this show, though. like marcus is supposed to be latine (i think? even the show lampshades this one), but ben is hella whitepassing but i can’t speak too much on this end since i am not latine myself. the big thing though (and im gonna put it in a diff paragraph cause its a big thing tbh)
hollywood. stop casting lana as non-viet. i get it, it’s a big role, she’s a rising star (and well deserving!!) but saya kuroki is japanese. her being japanese is hella vital to her background because she is in the yakuza! asian are not interchangeable please stop. y’all already pulled this with tatilb with lana being casted as a half-white, half-korean girl and its just…im gonna admit, i excused that one because i am a huge fan of the series and have been by its side from the beginning to the end. i know jenny han was okay with it since the casting for the song-covey sisters were still within the asian diaspora. but i really wish that years down the line, they could start casting asian actors with ethnicities that match them.
sidenote: rpc, this is why we need to picky with using faceclaims. please make sure that the faceclaim’s ethnicity matches the character’s.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Review
By sunbunny
Tumblr media
“The time’s coming when you're gonna have to pick a side.”
Writing this review without major spoilers seems like a Herculean task. So let’s start with this. If you’re uninitiated in the Potterverse, you’re going to be very, very confused by this mess movie. If you’re a casual Potter fan, you might like this mess movie. I honestly don’t know what it’s like to be a casual Potter fan. If you’re like me, a diehard Potterhead who definitely owns a wand and, at last count, three Harry Potter scarves, prepare for disappointment. Or maybe you trust JK Rowling more than I do and trust that this mess movie is setting up bigger and better things or has been horribly misjudged. If so, I’d love to know what you think.
Okay now that that’s out of the way, spoiler time.
SPOILERS ARE COMING. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
Instead of a traditional review, I’ve decided to take the controversial bits of the movie (or at least what I found to be controversial) and dissect them a bit.
First off, Minerva McGonagall was not alive, let alone teaching at Hogwarts, in the 1920s. Furthermore, you cannot apparate or disapparate inside Hogwarts grounds. Those are just straight up errors in continuity and should not have happened.
Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Mistake. Just frankly a mistake. Before you attack me on this, know that I was a HUGE Johnny Depp fan for nearly two decades. And then he hit his wife. The first Fantastic Beasts was already completed (or close to) when the allegations became public so you really can’t blame the PTBs at Warner Brothers for leaving him in the movie. Now, the decision not to recast? A lot more controversial. Famously, the actor who played Vincent Crabbe (one of Draco Malfoy’s lackeys) was arrested for marijuana possession during the production of the original eight films. His part was cut out. Completely. No more Vincent Crabbe. This is why optimists like myself hoped Warner Brothers or whoever makes these decisions would see the light and recast. They did not. I felt so guilty that my money was in whatever oblique way, financially supporting him, I made a donation to his ex-wife Amber Heard’s favorite charity (Children’s Hospital Los Angeles) after leaving the theater.
Okay now that that’s done with onto my plot grievances and there weren’t a few of them.
Grindelwald (like his successor Voldemort) is shown to be the magical equivalent of Hilter. Allegory was a big thing in the original novels. The subjugation of muggles/muggleborns was meant to mirror racism in the world today. So why. In the world. Would they have A JEWISH WOMAN LIKE QUEENIE GOLDSTEIN JOIN FORCES WITH GRINDELWALD WHY WOULD THEY DO IT WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY. She’s a Legilimens (mind reader), which means she can hear thoughts. And, yeah, Grindelwald is probably skilled enough in Occlumency (the art of deflecting mind readers) to put her off his I HATE AND WILL ENSLAVE MUGGLES agenda but she was in a huge crowd of Grindelwald supporters and she didn’t pick up on anything in the least bit dodgy?
It is suggested that, if the wizarding world gave way to Grindelwald, the Holocaust could have been prevented. WHAT? That’s crossing a line. Bringing real world atrocities into this is crossing a line. I’d been spoiled on this particular point but that didn’t make seeing it any less horrific in the theater.
Nagini, Voldemort’s snake who he controls fairly completely, actually started off as an Asian woman (the script says she was captured in Indonesia, the actress who plays her is Korean, and the name Nagini is Indian, do with it what you will) with a curse. That is just so obscene. That a person, a real, flesh and blood person was cursed to turn into an animal and that the curse was used in a magical freak show as an attraction…I have no words. Let’s add in that, in her “wisdom,” JKR has decreed that all Maledictuses (Maledicti?) are female and the whole thing is just a disaster. The human Nagini disappears completely into Voldemort’s pet, doing horrible things like killing on command and (I still shudder to think about it) possessing the decaying body of Bathilda Bagshot in order to set a trap for Harry in The Deathly Hallows until she’s finally BEHEADED by Neville Longbottom. Gross. It’s gross.
I’m getting depressed by this litany of awful so let’s wrap it up with the Worst. Credence is a Dumbledore. Excuse me, what? Unless it turns out that Grindelwald is lying to Credence (PLEASE LET THAT BE THE CASE), Aberforth and Albus left a certain GINORMOUS FACT out of their family history as told to Harry (and Ron and Hermione). Also, I mean, if Dumbledore had a brother or half-brother or whatever don’t we think Rita Skeeter would have dug it up while writing The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore? She looked heavily into Dumbledore’s background and I’m not saying she’s a reliable source but she had a nose for scandal, surely she would have found some inkling of this and included it in her book.
Bits and Pieces
How dare JKR write baby nifflers into the script and give me only one short scene with the cuties? They could have lightened up a LOT of what happened later, which was almost exclusively grim.
Weirdly, there was no reference to Grindelwald’s obsession with the Deathly Hallows. I mean, he obviously had the Elder Wand, but that was it.
First mention in HP canon of…okay I already forgot what it was called. The blood oath that meant that Grindelwald and Dumbledore couldn’t attack each other. Unclear why they wouldn’t just use an unbreakable vow (which got a shoutout this movie, so you know JKR didn’t forget about them). Also a bit of a retcon because in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Dumbledore admits to being too scared to face Grindelwald because of the possibility that Grindelwald knew what happened to Ariana and Dumbledore was afraid of knowing the truth. Although that disclosure happened when Harry was in “King’s Cross” and it remained delightfully unclear whether Harry was imagining the whole thing or Dumbledore was really talking to him. “Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?” As far as problems with this film go, it’s way down on my list.
You’d be forgiven for thinking it, but the ship Leta and Corvus were on was not the Titanic.
Favorite performances of the movie include Jude Law as sexy Dumbledore. Young. I meant young did I say sexy? And Zoë Kravitz as Leta Lestrange.

Mafia!Hakyeon
Requested:  Hi can u do a VIXX N mafia au?
Warnings: mentions of blood, death and sex but nothing explicit
I am really excited to write this because N is my VIXX bias and nobody can deny that sometimes our concept kings really give off that mafia vibe.
This is based off of a prompt I remember reading a while ago and after some digging I found where it came from, so shoutout to @fanficy-au for the prompt ideas
Also, for future reference, unsub means unknown subject and refers to the suspect in a criminal investigation. I watch way too much Criminal Minds.
Tumblr media
Cha Hakyeon
Also known as ‘N’
Is the leader of mafia group known as VIXX, based in Seoul, South Korea
It is a very powerful group, but not very well known; mainly because they stay out of the public eye so that they can carry on their activities without the police being on their case constantly
And although they of course do illegal things
But their main goal is to take justice into their own hands when the law won’t
When the boss retired, he passed the role on to his youngest son, Hakyeon instead of his older brother or one of his older sisters, who all decided to lead normal civilian lives
This caused some tension among the older members of VIXX who thought he was too young and inexperienced, and that they should have got the leadership role instead
This tension was quickly dissolved when Hakyeon showed his capability when a rival gang had managed to infiltrate their ranks
Long story short; he quickly figured out the situation and tricked the spies into revealing themselves shortly before they would have destroyed VIXX from the inside out
These men haven’t been heard from since
This is where Hakyeon became known as ‘N’ as he changed the fate of the seemingly doomed mafia group
(If you didn’t know, Hakyeon came up with the stage name ‘N’ based of the korean word for fate, in-yeon, and the yeon in Hakyeon also took that form)
From then on, nobody questioned his abilities (outright at least)
He has five people in his ‘inner circle’ not including him who he would trust with his life
These are Taekwoon, Wonsik, Jaehwan, Hongbin and Sanghyuk
And they know that despite he cold, stoic persona he puts on when facing the leaders of other groups, officials or lower ranked VIXX members
He is actually quite warm and dorky
He often acts like a mother
Which often catches many people off guard when he visits one of the warehouses they own and starts to scold the workers for not dressing warmly enough or not taking enough breaks
Thus the nickname ‘N-jumma’ comes about
Not that anyone except Hyuk actually calls him that to his face
Basically, he is last person someone would think to be the boss of a powerful mafia
He loves to dance when he gets the spare time to do so, and is actually very talented at it
He even made one of the rooms in his large house a dance studio, wall length mirrors and sound system included
When not doing paperwork, bossing people around or dancing he can often be found reading somewhere
And literature is the reason he meets you
Well, kind of anyway
You are an up and coming author, already being praised for your amazing mystery novels
They are clever and not cliche driven with amazing storylines and plot twists that nobody ever sees coming
And it is all going well for you
Until you get summoned for questioning by the police
Sitting in an interrogation room with no explanation as to why you are there
Until a detective comes in and tells you why
It turns out that there is a serial killer on the loose
And they are taking inspiration from your books
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse
They tell you that the unsub seems to be obsessed with you; having left notes that he is a big fan of your books and is killing so that your novels get exposure, and they are always signed off with a cursive ‘N’
Which is weird considering you live in South Korea
So that night you go home and try to get some sleep which is hard now you have the knowledge that someone is killing people for you, and that there is a policeman standing outside your door ‘just in case’ the killer tries to get to you
Meanwhile, as you lay in your bed in a restless sleep
On the other side of the city Cha Hakyeon stands pacing his office whilst his inner circle sit, all brainstorming ideas
He has just received the news concerning the serial killings
And it is troubling
He is a big fan of your books as everyone knows
He can often be seen with one in hand and has a shelf in his library solely for them
And apparently knows this and is trying framing him for these murders
There are many people it could be
If he gets arrested for this then that gets him out of the way
And so it could be somebody wanting his position of power
Or a rival wanting to hit VIXX where it hurts, their beloved leader
Of course the police and government know of him and VIXX
But they can never get something solid in order to prosecute anyone because of how they stay so deeply under the radar
But the main thing is that they know that he, Cha Hakyeon, also N
And so whereas before they left him alone because he didn’t cause them much trouble
But now he is a wanted man; for murders he didn’t commit
Knowing the intricate details of the case from one of his inside sources; he knows that you are also involved
And so he decides to meet you
If anyone could find out who was really doing all of this then it would be the person who wrote it all in the first place
And so the next night, he dresses up inconspicuously, and gets Ravi to find your address for him before heading out
Easily sneaking past the police officer stationed by you door and to a window; he climbs through with ease
Turning around he realises he climbed into your bedroom
Which would be fine and all
If you weren’t currently half naked in only a towel and staring at him in shock
Hakyeon’s first instinct is to cover his eyes and turn away like the gentleman he is
You, on the other hand, just got out of the shower after having a long day being interviewed by various detectives
When you got out you weren’t expecting to turn around a see a strange man in your room with you
A very handsome man, yes, and seemingly polite considering the way he averts his eyes from your form
But still a stranger
And so when you get over your shock you go to scream or shout or anything to get the attention of the officer outside
But before you can even open your mouth the man has traveled the short length of your room to you and covers your mouth with his hand
“I swear I am not here to hurt you. I just want to talk and so if you would please keep quiet and just hear me out? I’m going to move my hand now, can I trust you to keep quiet?” he says
You are stood frozen still as he looks into your eyes, a slight pleading look within them and so you slowly nod
And like he said he would, the man removes his hand slowly, making sure you won’t go against your word
He then glances down and realises you are still naked except for a towel and turns red, quickly averting his eyes
And yes he may be a complete stranger who broke into your room and who knows what his true intentions are
But to see someone who looks so intimidating blushing and act like a schoolboy with his crush is sort of....endearing
But you quickly shake that thought out of your head
“Could you, uh, perhaps turn around so I can get dressed?”
A couple of silent and tense moments later you are done changing and you sit down on your bed, eyeing the man suspiciously as he sits down next to you
“My name is Cha Hakyeon. And I am N.”
At his confession you immediately start to panic
“Not that N though! The real N. I’m being framed you see!” he quickly continues, calming you down only the slightest bit
“Remember, you said you would hear me out.”
Not wanting to upset a potential serial killer, you quickly nod your head
And deciding that the best way to make you understand his point of view and agree to help him is to tell the truth; Hakyeon tells you everything
About how he is the boss of powerful Mafia VIXX, about his five best friends, about how he most definitely not the person running around killing innocent people
And you are a writer at heart
You know when things are real and when they are made up
And even though this whole situation feels like it could have come straight out of one of your novels; you can’t help but feel like he is telling the truth
So you agree to help him
Now, Hakyeon can’t keep sneaking past the police stationed outside your door; it’s too dangerous for him as a wanted man
He asks you to join him in his hideout and base of operations
Not his house because it has eyes on it 24/7 in case he returns there
So, making up the excuse that you are going to stay with family out in the country and away from the mess, you go against everything your parents ever taught you as a child and pack your bags and go with him
Over the next week you two stay locked up in his office playing detective
During this time you two get to know each other
You get to know the personality he hides behind the big boss persona he puts on
And in turn he gets to know all about you and your life
You share your favourite foods; songs; colours; animals
You get to see him dance, which is an amazing experience
One day, to ease the stress this whole situation is putting on both of you, you play a game where he has to dance to whatever music you play
At first you choose the usual classical music, then hiphop
But then you start to play kpop songs and wow are you impressed
Never in your wildest dreams would you have imagined a big bad mafia boss dancing to SNSD like it was his own song
You also get to know the other boys
You find the bond between them all so amazing
They are all so close and while they all get on each others nerves, you can see that they would go to the ends of the earth for each other
Because you all become friends in this time, they also start to tease you
Mainly on the feelings that have started to grow for their leader
Sometimes you really question if they are members of powerful mafia VIXX or not
It all gets worse when one night at after a long day hacking into police databases to further your investigation into Hakyeon’s framer, you two fall asleep in his bed together after comparing notes til you both just nod off
And although you fall asleep on opposite sides, you wake up to find your head tucked under his chin and your arms wrapped around his torso
His clothes, the casual wear probably more expensive than your entire wardrobe, are more wrinkled the face of the 96 year old grandmother that lives next to you
Blood rushes to your face as you realise the position you are in
But immediately turns white as you notice that Hongbin and Jaehwan are standing at the foot of the bed, both with obnoxious smirks on their faces
You look back to Hakyeon, and he looks so relaxed in his sleep that you don’t have the heart to wake him which would happen if you moved
So you simply motion for the two males to keep quiet and snuggle back down, making the most of this time to get some more much needed sleep
Neither of you live it down the next day though
You are sure that had it been any other boss then there is no way that the teasing would be allowed
But considering N is a big softy inside he doesn’t do much except scold them, which scarily reminds you of your mother
Finally, a breakthrough in the murder’s is made, and they apprehend the person responsible after an anonymous tip off (yeah, it was you)
Turns out that Hakyeon’s first hunch was correct
The whole thing had been orchestrated by someone with a grudge that had been chucked out of VIXX for being rough with innocent people that the mafia had no qualms with and therefore making a bad name for them
After he confessed to the whole thing, Hakyeons name was cleared
To celebrate, Leo used one of his contacts to book a table at one of the finest restaurants in Seoul
Of course you get invited along
You played a big part in clearing N’s name so even when you denied the invitation, they wouldn’t take no for an answer
And when you tried to use the excuse that you had nothing to wear
Hakyeon presented you with a box that contained an outfit that you are sure costs more than you have earned your entire life; shoes and accessories included
So you had no choice but to go
In the end you are glad you went with the six men because you were in a private room and so had the freedom to drink and laugh as much as you wanted
And it ended up being one of the most fun nights you have ever had
The fact that the food was so nice was only a plus
It’s nearing 11 at night when you all start heading your separate ways
“Now that the whole serial killer ordeal is over, you are free to head back to your own house,” Hakyeon mentions as you arrive back at the hideout
His comment makes you pause in the middle of the hall
You had gotten so used to the being around so many people during your time there that the thought of going back to an empty house and leaving this whole adventure behind felt a little....weird
You had gotten so close to Hakyeon during the times you had spent locked away in his office (get your minds out of the gutter people)
While you knew you weren’t in love; you had only known each other for about 2 weeks after all; you could see yourself falling for him easily
In short, you fancied the pants off of him
Noticing that you weren’t walking behind him any longer, he turns around to face you, only to be met with the feel of soft lips against his
He immediately wraps his arms around you, deepening the kiss, and slowly walks backwards with you, kicking his bedroom door open with his foot
Let’s just say that he really proves to you his dancer’s stamina that night
Come the next morning, everybody knows that you had spent the night in the bosses room
The most used words that day were “about time” and “finally”
From that day forward, you were able to call Cha Hakyeon, the beautiful, bronze skinned god of a man yours
And he called you his
During the hard times, you were there to offer a shoulder to lean on
When he became angry you were the one called in to calm him down as you were the only one not completely scared of him in that state and he would never shout at you
You also write more novels
More romance started to appear in them as well, to the surprise of everyone who had read your previous books
Your best selling one just so happens to be about six good men doing bad things while keeping the bromance alive
And while your life will never be easy or perfect when dating the boss of one of the most powerful mafia
It is totally worth it to be able to go home after a bad day only to see Hakyeon in his expensive silk pajamas greeting you with nothing but love in his eyes
I started writing this and then got sidetracked watching their Weekly Idol episode again so I lost my train of thought in the middle kinda.
I hope you enjoy! As always, requests are open so feel free to drop by my ask box <33 xx

Radish Fiction Online Cheats
Radish Fiction Online Guide
Tumblr media
Radish Fiction Online manual is a guide for a popular new recreation. Maybe being given a fixed quantity of Coins every month or so and then paying for added Coins is a higher alternative due to the fact humans are not going to be convinced to sign up for this app specifically whilst wattpad + ao3 are loose. But, most important shoutout to lowrites due to the fact she is superb hello, i like radish it an amazing manner to examine books.... however... why do i need to pay to study books ? It's too much like if you want human beings to pay the at least have a every day spin in which there purpose be distinctive quantities of Coins you receive. The radish content material is written often through self-posted authors and taken care of through genre — romance, fable, paranormal, youngster, thriller, l.g.b.t., technology fiction and general. For more subtle looking and discovery, tales also are tagged with labels like "blackgirlmagic," "billionaire," "insurrection," "werewolf" and so forth. The high-quality of the writing varies — and lots of efforts usually seem to grow to be as ham-fisted erotica — but radish books are proudly taking the mantle of snackable pulp fiction into the digital age. (and don't knock do-it-yourself authors — "sunglasses of gray" aside, andy weir's "the martian" started out as a self-published serial on his weblog returned in 2009 before the 2015 film model grossed $630 million at the global field office.) Even though you do should pay for most stories, i like that they have got coin activities often and unfastened memories for everybody to enjoy. Inside the year or so i've had this app, i had one hassle. With an e mail, they constant the problem inside an afternoon. I think that became just sincerely amazing. This app is the one of the first-class analyzing apps i have had. 10/10 i love this app , but something went incorrect with it these days . I tried analyzing one of the stories on " glad delight week " and as opposed to sending me to the ebook that i clicked it send me to a extraordinary ebook from a one of a kind creator . Those are wonderful for adults and kids alike! After their warm one night time stand, mina discovers he is not just leo-from-the-bar -- he's leopold desmet, duke of brinovia. I could not find it everywhere. So i wasted all the ones Coins and my personal cash for nothing aside from some ordinary books that without a doubt weren't that interesting but i pushed thru it for a few free Coins that i by no means obtained and i am no longer the only man or woman this has befell to. That left a awful taste in my mouth, i nonetheless hold to use the app; now not as frequent as i used to because the costs are so ridiculous now and almost each ebook you need to pay for, three Coins consistent with bankruptcy without a doubt provides up. I really like horror testimonies too. Form of like wattpad. I want to be a author after i develop up and write on things like kindle, wattpad, and different novel ebooks. Radish is right source of notion i examine radish for top fiction. Plenty of serial fiction. Lots of right fanfiction testimonies and other novels. Charles expects little more than to just like the girl he to start with unearths as doll-like, but her love for his dogs (he's obsessed with the spaniels; his mistress hates them) and her innocent goals start to interrupt thru his resolve to hold her at a distance. In flip, charles fears the interference of his spouse inside the way his mother almost ruined his father-and all of england-along with her desires. And inside the midst of this, the married barbara, female castlemaine, is bearing charles's 2d toddler, whilst her husband stews, his delight unwilling to meekly take delivery of the title charles has bestowed in change for his spouse. It truly is around 126 Coins which is about $15.00 (with a % of Coins that has a reduction no much less). Yet if you visit amazon wherein that writer has published the equal book, you could get the exact identical aspect for everywhere among $zero.ninety nine-$4.ninety nine ethical of the tale, be smart with your money and test if they have it on the market on kindle/someplace else. But also this is quite messed up onradish's part. Thanks for reading, bye. The concept is good—providing hard working authors with money for their time and effort. Narrative is a key component of the human experience that can be traced back to pre-literate societies that relied on oral communication. It is therefore acutely susceptible to social, cultural and technological changes. The industrial revolution, which gave rise to serialization the first time around, drastically altered patterns of human behavior just as the digital revolution is doing today. The rise of the printing press facilitated broad new methods of distribution, which allowed the serialized novel to flourish, as first evidenced by the success of charles dickens's the pickwick papers. The bookburners writing team is full of pros from across the industry: max gladstone (who we talked to about season five and his other writing projects), margaret dunlap, brian francis slattery, mur lafferty, andrea phillips and amal el-mohtar. If you're familiar with ellen kushner's riverside fantasy series, beginning with swordpoint, you've already got a great hook to start this concluded serial: tremontaine is a prequel to the adventures in the novels. It also serves as a great introduction to kushner's world for those unfamiliar with her work-or any of the other excellent writers on the team, including alaya dawn johnson, malinda lo, joel derfner, racheline maltese, patty bryant, and paul witcover. But the cast doesn't stop with familiar faces: new characters include a korean tiger-goddess, frost giant mercenaries, and a charismatic, gender-fluid space pirate.this is the first prose serial collaboration between serial box and one of the big comic publishers, featuring the writing team of aaron stewart-ahn, jay edidin, brian keene, and yoon ha lee. If you love it (or prefer a different hero), keep an eye out for the forthcoming marvel titles black widow, black panther, and jessica jones, or the upcoming dc serials the flash: rogues. I hope this can be fixed! I love the app and the stories. But if i'm gonna spend real money on Coins to pay for books, i'd really like those Coins to be usable when i want to use them. It's obvious you're trying to get us to blow more money on this. They had this reading contest wherein you had to read 150 chapters to get 50 Coins. I had only 1 coin so i decided to wait for other chapters to become free. "you're just going to convert to phones. "reading as a vertical isn't going to go away," he goes on. "it's competing with vr, video games . . . But reading is an everlasting format. So how do you reinvent it on the phone?" Wattpad has had the most success so far in adapting novels for the mobile age. A toronto-based site and app that allows its mostly young, female fans to directly engage with authors and even comment on specific paragraphs, wattpad has accrued over 45 million users. As the best android emulator for gaming, memu offers you the best gaming experience. Fortnite mobile is confirmed not to be avaliable on google play, this post is about how to play fortnite mobile android version on pc with memu. All radish — free fiction & chat stories materials are copyrights of radish media inc..  our software is not developed by or affiliated with radish media inc.. Your blog is extremely a https://www.assignmenthelper.com.au/ decent stage to get enlightening posts. It is extremely an accommodating stage. I foe the whole hour but can't find a way to access radish live and missed trivia for my favorite novel... When i first got the app, i really enjoyed how different it was from others that i have had. However, it recently became more of a frustration than anything. They haven't had an event where you can earn Coins recently. For a full time grad school student, i can't afford to pay for Coins every month and valued the free events. Genres and categories included on the site are romance, ya/teen, fantasy/sci-fi, general, mystery/thriller, lgbtq+, late night, and paranormal. I have found radish's ya content to be particularly robust. Although i haven't explored the community chat rooms, the app does contain that feature if you like the ability to connect directly with authors. For voracious readers, romance and ya in particular, i really can't think of a better app that allows you to utilize your smartphone for reading. The free content within radish makes it comfortable to explore the app, and there are new and exclusive books by really exceptional authors. They'll put you out there to publishing companies and other people interested in your writing. Maybe you get an advertising contract, things like that. But i weighed the pros and cons and decided radish was the better way to go." And so in february 2016, thier began to also post his stories on radish, where the latest in his series of historical romance novels, silence is golden, has been read over 650,000 times. Thier wouldn't disclose how much money he is earning, but lee says it's a five-figure monthly income. Their latest move is the release, on march 29, of omnibus versions of several of their collected serials (all featured below). Keep an eye out at your favorite third-party digital bookseller (amazon, ibooks, etc.) For text-only collected episodes from: told over the course of four novellas, all published in 2016, this mythical medieval japanese epic features a disinherited lord, courtly intrigue with the heirs of the lotus throne, and a sorcerer who creates a mask for a young man, capturing within it the spirit of a great stag.

Introduction
Hello! I am Eunice! I’ve existed on this planet for a little more than 17 years. I decided to make a studyblr because two of my close friends have a studyblr (@biochemistryy (which I’m manually linking because Tumblr refuses to acknowledge its existence?) and @symphonystudies ) and that seems fun!
Plus, I’ll be starting university this fall and it’ll be nice to start a blog at the same time as I start this new chapter of my life. I’m undeclared for now, but I intend on majoring in Computer Science. I hope to major in something else as well, although I don’t know what yet. I’m the worst at studying but I want to work really hard and be the best that I can be in college, so I hope that making a studyblr will help make me more productive!
This ended up being really long so… more after the break!
PERSONALITY:
I’m really relaxed, slow, and carefree but I’m also really timid and cannot operate under stress at all. I’m also kind of scared of people (and being judged–actually, I’m well aware that this introduction is super long and I’m having second thoughts about posting it so that maybe 1.5 people will see it and judge me on it. But `I spent way too much time on this so there’s no going back) and not very sociable but I’m working on that, so talk to me! I have the tendency to be vague (”Concerning this project… I have goals in mind. What goals? Well, to be specific… many”) and to exaggerate things (”The clock may have shown only a minute has passed, but I’ve literally been doing this for 10 years and I can feel myself dying already”).
I tend to dream big and would usually set my standard way higher than my current ability level or I just don’t have standards at all. For an example. I realize most people’s introductions are not as long as this or as self-obsessive as this, but I before I began, I had established the goal of having several subheadings in my introduction and a decent chunk of writing per subheading and I am not about to give up on that goal because of something as silly as “the reader will get bored.” My tendency to overshoot is not the best since I also have approximately zero energy ever and I’m super lazy so I never do anything if there are no repercussions to my inaction. I’m also terrible at finishing things and I usually have a ton of half-written stories or projects lying around, although this might be a byproduct of my inability to set and follow through on reasonable goals. I’m trying to do and finish more things, though. I’m making some progress. I mean, I have this studyblr now, right?
That quickly got kind of negative at the end, but in general, I love being myself. It’s great. I just tend to compare myself to people and feel inferior sometimes, but I bounce back in a day, at most.
FANDOMS:
I’m not really an intense kind of person and usually, I fall in love with something for a couple of days or hours and then move on from that honeymoon phase so I don’t actually belong to any fandom.
MOTIVATIONS:
It sounds way lame, but my extrinsic motivations to do things are usually one of the following:
+ I can listen to music more
+ I’m expected to do this
+ People will think I’m cool
+ People will dislike me if I don’t
+ People will like me if I do
+ I wanna make my friends/my family/whoever proud/surprised
+ I want this to exist but it doesn’t
MUSIC:
My favorite genre of music is musicals! Ahaha… That doesn’t really count because there is a wide range of genres in musicals. I’m not a super-fan with knowledge of some obscure musical or whatever, but I casually listen to a couple of popular ones, and I’m fine with that. Currently, I really like Be More Chill, In the Heights, Spring Awakening, and Evita. I really like musical cartoons like My Little Pony and Steven Universe. They’re just so cute and brightly colored! There might be more, but I can’t think of any right now. I wish there were more cartoons with a ton of songs. I like any music though–although I’m super partial towards music with vocals because I’m a choir person–and I would love getting music recommendations!
I vaguely know the theory behind guitar and piano. I never practice ever, though, so my ability level is embarrassingly low.
HOBBIES:
Since I was small, my response to the question “What do you like to do?” has been “write, draw, sing, read.” I don’t do them all in equal measure though. For an example, this year, I’ve hardly written or drawn for fun. I’m doing those more so far this summer, but it pales in comparison to when I was in that “phase.” My writing phase was mostly in late elementary school and then it happened again early high school. I was in my drawing phase in early elementary and the middle of high school. I had my singing phase late middle and high school and my reading phase was all of elementary school, early middle and high school, and late high school. I really like fantasy and supernatural kinds of stories. Or anything funny, I guess. I also like books about cognition and sleep. Basically, the functionings of the mind. Recently though, the only thing I’ll read are translated light novels about transmigration of a modern human to another fantasy world that’s usually an otome game or something. It’s so niche and cliche I could die of embarrassment. Luckily no one will read this except for maybe the two people I gave a shoutout to, so… Hello, friends! Please ignore me!
I’m absolutely terrible or at best, average, and all of those things, though, so that’s kind of sad. Although I can read pretty fast and stay focused for long periods of time while still retaining the information if I am actually interested in the text, though, so I’m kind of proud of that.
Other than those things I do all the time, varyingly, there are other things I picked up recently that I love and want to do more of. I really like sewing because the idea of making things is just so nice to me, programming because that’s amazing and I can do everything with is and that’s amazing I just need to actually figure out what I’m doing first, and probably other things, but they aren’t coming to mind right now.
LANGUAGES:
The only language I know is English but I want to know literally all the other languages that exist in the world. My top five, however, are:
1. Japanese - Most of the media I consume are natively in English or Japanese so it’ll be nice to learn Japanese so I don’t have to wait for forever for the translations. Plus, I’ve always wanted to learn since I first watched anime while I was an elementary school kid.
2. Mandarin - After English and Japanese, Mandarin makes up the greatest amount of media I consume (mostly light novels). Plus, it’s widely-spoken so it must be useful! Since it’s spoken in so many places, there are a ton of different accents and so native speakers are more forgiving if I mess up so I don’t need to worry that much about my accent! A lot of my friends speak Mandarin as their mother tongue or are fluent in it, and it’ll be nice to connect with them in this way.
3. Cantonese - My parents came from Hong Kong and speak Cantonese as natives. I really want to get in touch with my roots and learn it too! Plus, a lot of my family and some of my friends speak it natively and I want to be able to connect with them in their native language.
4. Spanish - Spanish is also really popular and musicals like Evita and In the Heights make me want to learn Spanish. Besides, I live in California and California has a sizable Spanish-speaking population. One of my best friends speaks Spanish natively and it’s so cool and I want to talk to her in Spanish too! Plus, it is from the same family as English so it won’t be as hard as learning something completely different like Hindi or something… ?
5. Korean - A lot of my friends are excited about K-pop and want to learn Korean and I want to learn Korean with them and be a part of that experience. But really, the main reason why I first wanted to learn Korean was because the spelling is very logical and I thought “eh, why not?” I couldn’t remember the Hangul at all though, so I dropped it by the day’s end, hahaha. But I went to Korea recently and I love the clothes and things and the people seem really nice and I want to be able to make a friend in Korea and maybe didn’t even know English because that would be different! And cool!
MISC. FAVORITES:
I love cats! I’m allergic, but that doesn’t stop my love for cats! Dogs are cute too and birds are way up there too, but cats have purr-loined my heart! I really like puns too. I think they’re cute and clever and people who can make constant puns and turn of phrases are amazing. My favorite characters are the energetic, excited child (or child-like) characters such as Seven from Mystic Messenger or Wheatley from Portal 2. I also really like Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights and Erik from Phantom of the Opera though, so that’s not a hard and fast rule. Although… I like writing dark and moody characters as well as childish and excited characters, especially them being best friends and acting as each other’s foils, so that’s probably where my character preferences come from. I love pastels and I love clothes and I love pastel clothes! I’m terrible with fashion though and I’ve been wearing yoga pants and a jacket basically all my life. It recently changed to leggings, a t-shirt, and an outerwear, and I’ve been trying to dress more nicely recently, but all in all, I’m still pretty hobo-like in appearance. I like anime although I haven’t really been reading or watching anything in particular. I just like anime in general and it really reflects in everything I do, whoops. I’m kind of embarrassed by that though.
GOALS:
(For this summer)
+ Be more sociable
+ Be more cheerful, excited about life
+ Actually stick with things and don’t drop them in three seconds
+ Set goals better
+ Accomplish something measurable by the summer’s end
Welp, it’s 1:11 AM here in Canada so I should sleep.

Note
1, 10, 22, 29!
1. Do you prefer writing with black or blue pen? I prefer writing with black pen, especially if I am using lined paper.
10. Do you like your name? Would you ever change it?I do like my name…I think the thing I struggle with is my last name. It is really long and kind of odd (shoutout to my parents for hyphenating their last names!!) but it means a lot to me since it shows the combination of separate identities into one family. I lowkey still wonder what will happen when I get married though, because a triple hyphenate is TOO MUCH but I also don’t want to give up my last name…clearly I have a lot of emotions surrounding my last name!
22. Do you like spicy food? For the longest time, no! I used to hate ALL spicy food until about two years ago. Now, there are certain kinds of spice I really like (and others I really don’t). For example, I love Indian curries, spicy Korean food, and I can do fairly well with Chinese hot oil on dishes. However, whenever it comes to peppers in a dish, I kind of back away…like, even sliced jalapenos on a taco. But I’m training myself to eat spicier food!
29. Do you like reading? What was the last thing you read?I do really like to read, but I’ve fallen into that space of not being able to read as much because of college (and consequently, it takes a lot more effort for me to become engaged with a book). The last book I read was a book I borrowed from a friend while I was in Europe a month ago, and I read it on the ten hour train ride I took to get from Bratislava (Slovakia) to Bielefeld (Germany). I left it at the mini library in my hostel in Amsterdam before I returned home to the States, so I forget what it was called…it was a really cheesy detective novel set in post-Communist Slovakia.
“Dig deeper” with me!
