I love my mother. She does not think things through often, and here's how I know. For context, I am wheelchair bound and can rarely leave the house.
So our mother was driving us to Walmart because we needed to get some groceries for the dinners we are going to have this week, and as we entered the parking lot I told her that we should probably start the process to get a disability placard so we can park in the disability spots. Her response was "why?" I then explained to her that because I was disabled it would be the smartest decision.
Then as she was unloading my wheelchair said "but you don't have a wheelchair". We just stared at each other for a good few minutes until she realized that I did in fact HAVE A WHEELCHAIR and that it is my only way to get around.
Anyways shout out to my mother y'all. She's wonderful and we make some really weird, but really great memories together.
