February first half rant

This month has been an absolute disaster for me so far; I'm starting to wonder if I'm mentally here because I'm NOT suicidal. Like if I was normal I'd wanna die, what's wrong with me.

I cannot imagine what it's going to be like in 5 months when I start becoming predictably and inappropriately nostalgic about this time, like what the hell is there to be nostalgic about. Damn I'm sure gonna miss screwing up in my stupid fucking band. Soooo gonna miss yet another four months of trying and failing to snag the guy I allegedly love before I inevitably take yet another break in May to get people missing me, only to realize that nobody actually gives a damn and it was actually pretty normal without me there.

Watched a vid/stream today about how confidence is attractive and self-loathing is unattractive, but like… I can't even think of anything to add to that, just no. I'm already unattractive, at least in a few different ways, why should I lie and say I'm happy or confident or I even feel anything, I just can't keep this up. Like I can, and I will, but fuck me whatever, something bad's gotta happen further down the line.

and you listen, and you're crushing his ears with your thighs, and he's never been happier. the next time you look down? he's rutting into the mattress and you see his hips stutter when he groans into you and your vision goes white

You’ve always known Ume’s great with kids. With the way he’s always so playful with them, so helpful with whatever they might need — it’s like they’ve got a big brother in him. And it’s true to some extent. He sees everyone in Makochi as family, after all.

So when you spot him cradling a shop owner’s newborn baby in his arms, it doesn’t surprise you. Even babies love him. No surprise there.

But when he coos at the little one so gently, gazing down at them like one of his own, letting them grab his finger with their tiny hands, you feel your heart flutter. You walk over to stand beside him, stunned with your heart absolutely melting at the sight.

He turns to meet your gaze with the brightest smile on his face as he makes the baby give you the tiniest, most precious wave. You give them both a tiny wave back. Leaning towards you to give you a kiss on the crown of your head, he whispers an “I love you” into your scalp. You could only muster a soft hum in response, leaning your cheek on his shoulder with your arm wrapped around his waist, reaching a finger out for the baby to hold too.

And he understands. Maybe someday it’ll be one of your own in his arms.
