Love your serrennedy posts! I got introduced to them by the remake and im curious how the remake and the changes Capcom did, how that made you feel as someone who first played the original. Like if there was any changes you disliked and just what you think of it in general. Im really curious. Btw I hope you have a good day!

Me personally, I kind of liked a lot of the changes they made to the remake compared to the original! Of course, OG serennedy is my baby and I love their dynamic the best, but I adore how in the remake they allowed Luis to be a little more flirty with Leon than in the OG xD!!

Some thing in particular I like is that Luis’ backstory was fleshed out more, bc in the og Luis was a big mystery and you only found out about his past after he’d died, so it was sweet that we learned it while he was still alive and got to connect with him better!

But one thing I didn’t like was how they kinda made Luis’ death less believable in terms of the wound. I mean, in the OG I liked how when Luis died you knew that he couldn’t come back from that since he’d been literally impaled and there was a bleeding hole in his heart, but in the remake the stab wound was something that the player could easily just look at and think something along the lines of a first aid spray fixing him up. It would have been nicer if Luis’ death felt more finalized in terms of how he was killed. But I do love the ending scene and how Leon got to light Luis’ cigarette for him :-)!!
