Shoujo is so used to be treaten really bad for everyone aside from his sister and grandmother that it would take her a while to get used to the affection you treat her with

Besides she is pretty shy so it would have to be little by little, as much as she loves the affection you treat her with it makes her flustered and overwhelmed

And she isn't going to ask for it, Shouko is too shy to do it and sometimes she can't help but feel like a burden, so she will either just don't do anything or shyly do small things, such as stepping close to you so your hands/arms rub against each other or gently hold onto you from your clothes

Also, she prefers slowly and gentle gestures,since is completely opposite at how harsh she had been treated and it makes her feel safe and loved

Kisses are complety a new thing for her, although is probably that her grandmother had kissed her on the forehead or cheek is all, and thinking on kissing you is almost imposible for her shyness

The moment you give her a kiss on the forehead she is shocked and just stare at you while an inmense blush start to grow in her face, she gets so nervous and unable to look at you directly after a moment, she tries to say something but she doesn't even can form a sentence, at the end she just cover her face and get close to you, like asking for you to hide her from the rest of the world

If you do it to comfort her her reaction won't be too different, but in this case she will start to cry a little

Shoya Ishida

Ishida isn't used to kindness outside of his family and for a long time he thought that he didn't deserve it either for what he had done in the past to Nishimiya

When he start a relationship with you you he is overwhelmed by the happiness but at the same time with anxiety too, he is so nervous to do something that will upset you that he can't bring himself to be affectionate, and every time you do get affectionate he gets really shy and flustered

With some time he start to get used to it but still have to be a slowly process because he is easy to get anxious and doubt himself, going for a while with just small touches like holding hands to reach to hugs and maybe cuddles

He is already really shy so when it come to get more intimate, even just a little makes his so nervous so to even think on kissing you without becoming a flustered mess will take a long time, so a small and gentle kiss in his forehead is a good start, and even so when you do it he gets really shocked

If you do it out of the blue while you two were hanging out he will get super nervous and even start stuttering, looking at everything like searching an excuse while blushing like crazy, but if you do it when the atmosphere is calmer, like you two were relaxing or even you were comforting him for something he will stare at you for a moment before lean on you and snuggle, he isn't too brave to kiss you right now but he really liked the kiss

Yuzuru Nishimiya

Yuzuru isn't exactly shy but she isn't the affectionate type either, she isn't so used to the physical affection so she just shows her love in other ways

However if you are affectionate she wont mind it too much, it would take her some time to get used to and to reciprocate but she will (but it bother her a little if you are too clingy or invasive with her)

She isn't really into pda and she prefers to cuddle you when you two are alone, still she won't get shy with small gestures, but she gets flustered and will try to take revenge by teasing you and try to make you the flustered one (or either try to just brush it off and continue with whatever she was doing)

Kisses are a whole different thing, is more intimate and direct so it would take her a while to accept them (not until she feels totally comfortable), even more to give them, kisses actually make her shy even the ones on the cheek

Forehead kisses is a rather sweet and inocent gesture and she will be super confused the first time you do it before getting really flustered, and depending on when you do it she will either just look away flustered if you do it while cuddling or while comforting her, or call you out for treating her like a child (since forehead kisses are common to give them to children) if you do it out of the blue while hanging out

Maybe soft and gentle gestures aren't his favorites, prefering them mainly when she seeks for comfort, but she will end up liking forehead kisses a lot (but she will never say it out loud

Satou is always open with the love she holds for her partner, she isn't shy at all and she always wants to be by your side

Also, Satou always melt in any kind of affection you give her, no matter if is an small kiss or a cuddle sesion, don't even if you just express your love for her with words is always special for her and hold it close to her heart

Although, kisses are more special for her, a kiss is an expression more direct but more sweet and pure too,she loves kisses and she always give it to you with a lot of love

Naoko isn't shy at all, she had never been afraid to be herself even when the world seem to be against her, and that goes for you too since she never had problems to show the love she holds for you (but always in her own way)

Although, she isn't going to force you to do something that will make you uncomfortable, so if you prefer to go slowly she slow down for you, but that doesn't stop her from stealing some hugs or kisses from you from time to time

She loves all the affection you give to her, it doesn't matter if is an small gesture or one more big it always make her feel so excited and fuzzy inside, it gives her a bust of energy and most of the time she ends up getting pretty clingy after

She likes kisses and have no problem with give them, but it isn't like is nothing for her becouse it actually means a lot, for her a kiss is a big expression of love, specially on the lips (and she prefers those)

A forehead kiss is a rather inocent gesture, so in the moment you give it to her she gets quiet and take a moment to proces what you did, she is taking time to appreciate the cute gesture and the excitement slowly grows on her

Synopsis: It’s years later, and now you and Shouko are dating. And you’re still just as protective as you were in middle school. So when these guys start harassing you, you don’t hesitate to protect her.

You often think back to your middle school days, and at how far you’ve come. Six years later, and you’re still protecting Shouko. Only now, she’s not just your best friend, she’s your girlfriend. You’ve been together for about a month now, and things are going smoothly. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for anything better.

You’ve just gotten back from your martial arts class, and you decided to go over to Shouko’s apartment. You rang the doorbell, and heard small footsteps, followed by the door unlocking.

It opened, and Yuzuru, Shouko’s little sister, was on the other side. “(name)!” She said excitedly. She let go of her camera, letting it hang from around her neck, and pulled you inside. You and Yuzuru have gotten close over the years, and you’re glad that dating her sister hasn’t changed anything about your relationship.

The two of you walked into the kitchen. “Shouko, (name)’s here!” She said, waving her hands to get her attention. Shouko looked up from her book, and her face immediately lit up at the sight of you. She got up from her spot at the kitchen table, and enveloped you in a hug, which you happily returned.

You pulled away a bit so she could see you sign. “How are you?” You asked.

“Good. I was just about to start dinner.” She responded. “It’s curry. Want to join us?”

“That sounds delicious. I’d love to!”

Shouko hummed happily, and walked over to the fridge to get the ingredients. But after a moment, she let out a disappointed gasp. You turned to her, concerned.

“What’s wrong?” You asked.

She sighed sadly. “We don’t have any carrots or potatos. I thought we did. I guess I’ll just have to make something else.

“Aw… I really wanted curry.” Yuzuru complained.

“Hey, I can run to the store and get them, I don’t mind!” You said.

“No, you don’t have to do that!” Shouko frantically signed.

“It’s okay Shouko! You can come with me, if you want.”

She pouted for a moment, before nodding. You smiled, and followed her to the door. She grabbed her bag, then held on to your arm.

“Alright, Yuzuru, we’ll be back!” You said.

“Bye.” She said unenthusiastically, currently occupied by her camera.

You smiled to Shouko, then you both went on your way.

The two of you had just exited the store. The bag of vegetables hung on Shouko’s arm, as she insisted on carrying it. The two of you held hands happily, walking in blissful silence. You were more than halfway to the apartment, but you were suddenly interrupted.

“What have we here?” You heard a man’s voice say. You turned around, and saw a group of three guys. They looked to be around college age. Shouko, seeing you turn around, did as well. She too saw the men, and, seeing their not-so-friendly expressions, cowered behind you a bit.

“Looks like it’s our lucky day, boys.” The same man said. “It’s not every day we come across beauties such as these.”

His words made you want to vomit, but you kept your tough face intact. You moved your arm out to guard Shouko as the guys started stepping closer. “Get away!” You yelled in a threatening matter.

The men chuckled. “Aww no need to be scared.” The main guy said. He tilted his head towards Shouko, to which she hid further behind you. “Especially you. Why don’t you come out so we can see your pretty face?” He spoke to her as if she was a child, making your blood boil.

Most of her face was behind you, so she couldn’t read his lips. Her face was one of fright and confusion. The man didn’t seem happy that she didn’t respond to him. “Hey, talk to me, will ya?”

“She’s deaf, dumbass!” You spat. “Now leave us alone!”

“Hey, how about a little respect?” He was getting mad now. Without warning, he grabbed Shouko by the arm, making her yelp. He yanked her away from you.

“Hey!” You called out. You knew that this was the time to act, and also the time to put all your training to good use.

You darted towards him, and sent a kick flying to his groin. He howled in pain, letting go of Shouko’s arm in the process. She took this chance to distance herself from him. You got in front of her, blocking her from any harm. Seeing their supposed leader on his knees, in pain, the other two men leapt towards you.

When the first man reached you, you blocked him with your arm. The second one came, and you hit him with a firm uppercut, knocking him down. You lifted your knee in a kick, straight in the last man’s stomach. He coughed, and crouched down, holding his middle.

“Get the fuck away before I call the police!” You threatened. The leader, a bit healed now, let out a “Tch”. He motioned with his head that it was time to leave. They all got up, and hobbled away. You made sure to watch them until they fully disappeared.

Once they were gone, you whipped around, and dashed over to Shouko. You took her hand in yours. “Are you okay?” You signed.

Shouko was clearly shaken, but signed back. “Yes. I’m fine. Are you?”

“Yes. I’m just glad you’re okay.” You then pulled her into a tight hug. You heard her let out a sigh of relief, before hugging back.

You finally arrived at Shouko’s apartment. She unlocked the door, and you both stepped inside.

When you entered the kitchen, you saw Shouko’s mother. “What took you guys so long?” She asked.

You turned over to Shouko. She lightly shook her head, a signal to not tell what happened.

“We got a bit distracted.” You said, laughing a bit. Shouko’s mom huffed, then mumbled something about “typical teenagers”.

“Finally! I’m starving!” Yuzuru said as she entered the room.

You laughed, then turned back to Shouko. “So, should we get started?”

Shouko looked confused. “You’re helping?”

“Of course! I love cooking with you! Besides, we both know I’m better at cutting vegetables.” You teased.

“Rude!” Shouko signed, before lightly hitting your arm.

You laughed. Before you could tease her more though, Yuzuru let out another complaint about being hungry. So you decided to leave it there.

You made your way over to the counter. Shouko got the pot, and turned on the stove, while you got the cutting board and knife. After washing your hands, you began your hard work. You literally fought for these vegetables, so you were determined to make this the best damn curry anyone’s ever tasted.

A Silent Voice

For A Silent Voice, I had no previous knowledge of the anime, so it was interesting to see the story develop. As a film, I was most intrigued by the wide array of characters, as well as their development over the course of the story. In terms of the moral and lesson, I thought the sense of societal exclusion and neglectfulness of some of those in power were strong devices to express the story’s themes of friendship and to love yourself.

In A Silent Voice, those in power, such as the teacher when Shoya and the other classmates are bullying and teasing Shouko, do not express the authority and discipline one would expect. This leads to a sense of neglect in providing the proper learning environment for Shouko, who is deaf. Eventually, the bullying and teasing of Shouko reaches a point to where Shoya experiences the societal exclusion Shouko felt and later on he desires to make amends.

As the story progresses, Shoya and Shouko aim to repair their elementary school friendships. However, as time progresses, it becomes apparent Shouko has a very poor personal view of herself, to which Shoya cures in the climax. As a film, the form of foreshadowing of Shouko’s near tragic end was also masterfully executed through Yuzuru’s photographs.

Another area of the story I found intriguing is the symbolism of the X-marks on people’s heads and how one re-appeared on Naoka after Shoya’s childhood trauma of Kazuki, since the use of X- marks evoked an easy-to-interpret metaphor on personal insecurity and how you see others around you.

However, the biggest message to take from the film is to live life to the fullest and love both yourself and your unique aspects of yourself, instead of seeing yourself as a burden or to be unfit in society.

A SILENT VOICE : The movie

When i started watching it , i thought the movie wd be frm a bully's perspective on how he has troubles at home and thats why he acts the way he does.....However the movie shows the journey of this bully and howw he gains his sense of realisation, how everyone else around him becomes too mature suddenly and noww HES EXPECTED TO GROW UP......the movie based on the manga does justice to portraying the character who sees the new girl as a threat who is different from the others and is changing things around him.....the lead character acts immaturely out of lack of understanding how empathy works while leaving behind the childhood days.......

It shows the darkside of entering adolescence ...........Its dark ....the movie is real dark...if u have battled depression and suicidal thoughts in ur life.....have been bullied or have bullied anyone......this movie will hit you hardest first and later on make you regret your decisions slowly making you forgive yourself and others.....

Its SLOW....noo doubt....

Story is well said from different perspectives.....you will definitely rethink your lost friendships with ur school buddies....ul forgive the ones who make up for your horrible memories and will want to live life from better noww and on the right track.....

All over this movie taught various life lessons :

EVERYONE AROUND US has problems of their own,sometimes even bigger than ours, lets give them the benefit of doubt always and be there and available for each other, learn to accept others, learn to accept yourself for who you are, learn to forgive, learn to apologise and lastly LEARN TO LIVE bcoz in the end growing up is tough but YOU ARE NOT ALONE and ITS GONNA BE JUST OKAYYY .........

Il give this one 8.5/10 for doing somewhat of a justice to the manga ...however the Manga itself deserves 11/ 10.

Gemini characters in anime/manga are RARE, and Gemini characters that aren’t deluded, deviant, unhinged, or warped are even rarer (think Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter). Therefore, I compiled this list to bring some light to characters that are doing the Gemini name proud! None of these characters are without their own personal demons and struggles, but all of them, in my opinion, are redeemable, complex characters who exemplify the Gemini archetype. Note: This list is in no particular order, I love all these characters equally haha!

Shouko is a gentle, sweet, and overall kind soul who struggles to communicate and connect with other people because of her deafness. Despite the barriers she faces, more than anything she yearns to communicate and socialize with others and hopes to make friends. Because of this desire, in grade school she uses a journal to communicate through writing, and she often urges her classmates to write in her journal in order to talk to her. This is certainly fitting, because Gemini, being ruled by mercury, is all about communication—whether through body language, speech, or writing.

Shouko faces many hardships throughout the story—such as bullying, the worsening of her hearing, and her grandmother’s death—but through it all she smiles to mask her deep inner pain and to ease the minds of those she cares about. This reluctance to engage negative emotions, and desire to not trouble other people with one’s own emotions, is truly characteristic of Gemini energy.

Gemini energy is associated with the third house—the house of communication, short distance travel, and siblings—and as such, it’s no surprise that Shouko has an extremely close connection and relationship with her sister, Yuzuru.

2. Shoya Ishida from A Silent Voice | Koe no Katachi

Shoya is a deeply troubled character who struggles to connect with other people because of his intense anxiety, self-loathing, and remorse over his past mistakes. His past consumes him, and the mistake that troubles him most is the fact that in elementary school, he bullied Shouko Nishimiya, a deaf classmate.  

In grade-school, Shoya was a social boy with many friends despite his propensity towards rash, reckless behavior. But things changed for him in sixth grade. Keenly observant, Shoya noticed the frustration of his friends and classmates that developed because of Shouko’s seemingly “special” treatment. Additionally, Shoya felt the dynamic in his friend group changing. In his immaturity, he blames these changes and his frustrations on Shouko, and begins to bully her as a result. Part of the tension between Shoya and Shouko was that Shoya could not understand Shouko or communicate with her. Above all, understanding and communication are central to Geminis, and so it’s no surprise that this lack of understanding is what leads to major tension between these two characters.

Shoya is shown to be an intelligent person; for example, when Yuzuro decided to give school a second chance, it’s Shoya she seeks out in order to tutor her. He is also shown to be a gentle person. For example, when it comes to his family, Shoya is shown to deeply care for his mother, sister, and niece—he works extremely hard to pay back his debt to his mother, and he is always gentle, kind, and attentive towards his little niece, Maria.

3. Mamushi Hojo from Blue Exorcist | Ao no Exorcist

With her textbook tsundere personality, Mamushi embodies the Gemini archetype of “the twins!” On the surface, Mamushi is aloof with an independent personality, however, underneath her cold social mask she has a deep affection for her family (especially her sisters), and her mentor, Todo. Also, later on in the series, her husband Juzo comments that she has a soft side to her personality, too. This extreme duality is quite characteristic of Gemini energy.

Unfortunately, it is her misplaced affection, loyalty, and trust towards the traitor Todo that leads to her betraying her family in the Impure King arc of the series. However, once she realizes her mistake, she is genuinely devastated and remorseful because she cares for her family and is devoted to her responsibilities to the temple and as an Exorcist.

Mamushi is a calm and studious person with a strong sense of loyalty and justice. Mamushi seems to experience some degree of anxiety when it comes to socializing, partly because she is a serious individual who prefers to keep to herself and her close friends. She seems to enjoy nature and the company of animals, and takes great care of her Nagas (snake demons), for which she has great affection.

4. Kōshi Sugawara  from Haikyu!!

Suga is a dependable pillar of support for the Karasuno volleball team and is known as “the indomitable setter” because of his enduring nature. Though Suga has a predominantly calm, gentle, and nurturing presence, when he gets impassioned he shows no qualms about yelling at his team from the sidelines or saying what’s on his mind. Suga also has a good sense of humour and enjoys teasing his teammates! Despite his calm demeanor, he has a prominent mischievous side, too; for example, he encourages Hinata to crash the Youth Camp and finds it hilarious that Hinata does indeed go ahead and attend uninvited. These noticeable dualities are definitely characteristic of Gemini energy!

Suga truly wants what is best for the team even though it means allowing Kageyama to be the team’s main setter without protest, despite the fact that Suga has seniority. Though he is often sidelined, Suga is an intelligent and observant player, who excels at detecting the mood and state of his team-mates. Further, he is good at coming up with new and clever game plays and tactics. He is also shown to be a studious individual who prioritizes studying.

5. Umetarou Nozaki from Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun | Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

Of all the Geminis on this list, no other better represents the Gemini archetype of “the storytelller” than Umetarou! He is a passionate mangaka who is wholly devoted to the art and craft of producing his shoujo manga, “Let’s Fall in Love.” Umetarou is an observant person who constantly looks for story ideas in his everyday life.There is a strong duality to Umetarou’s personality—underneath his serious demeanour, he has an incredibly imaginative and playful nature that  comes out when he tests possible story-lines for his manga out on his friends.

He is a gentle, social, and considerate person who goes to great lengths for his friends. When his assistants/friends gather at his apartment, he’s a thoughtful host who makes extra food for everyone, and he genuinely seems to enjoy sharing meals with other people and attending to guests. He even often lets his male friends stay overnight. He also allows his friend Mikorin to stash his suggestive manga, dating simulation video-games, and figurines at his apartment (talk about a good friend!). Also, Umetarou does his utmost to ensure Chiyo is happy—her distress is shown to greatly unnerve him. Umetarou is also close with his siblings despite living apart from them.

Though Umetarou is intelligent, he is emotionally dense. He doesn’t recognize that Chiyo has a crush on him even though her feelings are incredibly obvious. It’s unclear whether he TRULY doesn’t realize her feelings, or if he is only pretending to be oblivious because he is uncomfortable with his emotions and Chiyo’s emotions. Since he writes a manga about love, his discomfort with romance is pretty ironic! However, discomfort surrounding difficult emotions is quite characteristic of Gemini energy.

6. Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer | Kimetsu no Yaiba

While all the characters on this list have an inherent caring, gentle nature that is characteristic of Gemini energy, Mitsuri takes it a step further! In the tarot, the card associated with Gemini energy from the major arcana is “the lovers.” This is certainly fitting, as she is the Hashira of love. On top of that, her goal is to find a partner who is stronger than she is to marry.

Mitsuri is passionate, sweet, and affectionate. She greatly admires her peers and compliments them nonstop in her own mind—though, her shyness prevents her from voicing these thoughts aloud. Additionally, Mitsuri’s being and personality embodies duality; though she has a gentle personality, she is a fearsome fighter with great agility and strength.

The mischievous and witty twins, Kaoru and Hikaru, certainly tap into the gemini archetypes of “the trickster” as well as “the twins.” As twins, the two have a deep sibling bond. Both are intelligent, witty, and curious.

They both have a great capability for affection, however, before joining the host club, Kaoru and Hikaru are shown to be somewhat aloof with everyone but each other, leading their peers to think they are simply stuck-up. The truth is that their distant, cold exteriors mask a deep turbulence and sadness within them that arises due to an inner isoation and loneliness that both of them carry. Identity is a key theme for the twins because other people cannot tell them apart. The failure of other people to recognize them as individuals brings both of them great inner sadness, but at each of their cores, they long for true connection and friendship with people other than each other.

Easily bored, these two enjoy playing jokes and tricks on their friends. They both have playful personalities, and don’t mean harm, but at times their playfulness moves beyond mischievous toward manipulative. Personality wise, Hikaru is more expressive, open, and emotionally immature than Kaoru, whereas Kaoru is more observant, reserved, and attuned to the emotions and expressions of other people than Hikaru.

Shouko is kinda discreet with her crush, she is already a little shy so it isn't too noticible when she gets shy with her crush, but you can tell since she gets more blushy and a little clingy, relying more in them

Who is more probable to notice her crush is her sister, Yuzuru, and she will be really supportive on this (unless she doesn't know you yet or you are a bad person) and she will cheer for one of you confess your love already! (because she will notice your crush too)

Shouko had already try to express her feelings for you, she even try it saying it directly with her own voice, but she failed, either because her nervous make her words even more incomprehensible or because she back off for her shyness and doesn't say anything at the end

The moment you say to her that you wanted to talk or that you have something to tell her she start getting nervous, did she did something? did she made you upset? And if she notice that you are nervous too (since confessing to someone isn't exactly easy) she gets even more nervous

When you finally tell her (either with sign language or writing down) she freeze, she is in shook because she expected everything except this (actually she hoped this but quickly brush it off out of embarrasment), she will ask you to repeat it or will read it again (actually a hundred times) because she can just believed it

Her mind is a mess, her heart is beating so fast between anxiety and excitment and her cheeks are so red, she is looking everywhere becouse she can't bring herself to look at you, she can't think properly and neither even form a sentence. She is just so happy, excitment is flooding her whole being that she feels like she may explode, it took her a while but at the end she finally manage to express her feelings too

If you take her reaction as a rejection or start telling that she doesn't have to go out with you or answer right now she panic, she doesn't want you to feel rejected, is just that Shouko is used to feel like a burden for everyone or being treated badly, so having someone who loves her this much is a little overwhelming for her

If you did it shyly she will find it rather cute while remembering it, but in case you confessed with confidence that make her all flustered

Also, it could be the case that you confess with a love letter, if that is the case she will be all flustered while reading it, she still get overwhelmed with excitment but she will ask you shyly if is true that you love her, she fear that is just a cruel joke

Yuzuru is really observant so she probably have think that you may have a crush in her too, but she just brush it off since she doesn't want to seem egocentric, also she isn't exactly planning in confess, she value you a lot and just being with you is enough for her right now

When you go to her wanting to talk she doesn't think much of it, maybe you just need help with something, but if she notice that you are nervous she will tease you a little (there is a chance that she ask you if you are going to confess teasingly)

Still, the moment she find out her crush on you she start getting super shy and flushy around you, it took her a while for her to not blush whenever she interact with you

Also, she can't think on confessing her feelings, she just doesn't feel ready to do it, every time she even thing on it she became a blushing mess and hide her face with her hands

Before Kae lose weight she was used to recibe a lot of bad comments and jokes about it, but she never really mind it too much since she just prefer to focus and all the anime she love, and after she lose weight people start to see her as someone really atractive now she's being victim for harassment from time to time, but that is more difficult to ignore

Since Kae is rather easy to distract that sadly make her a pretty easy target, normally she is around her friends, who totally respect her and are ready to throw their hands to protect her, but that doesn't stop others to try weird things

When you tell her that you are going to protect her, her reaction may vary. If you say it on a peaceful day, like you two were just talking about trivial things and the topic of the harassment just came or you were on a date and someone had been looking at her in a bad way her reaction won't go further than become really flustered for it, she will tell you that you don't have to with an inmense blush, and if you insist she won't be able to say nothing more since she get overwhelmed by the love and confusion (since she doesn't enteraly understand why you are saying it). However, if you say it after you helped her to get away (or even directly defend her) from someone that it was bothering her (either as harassment or because they were making fun of her) she will be really flustered but she won't decline what you say, she actually can't because right now she just sees you as her hero (and probably end up crying for how overwhelmed she is by this situation)

Before she had met you Satou had been with a lot of people, hoping that in that way she will find the love she craves for, and that could lead people to made rumors about her or talk bad about her on her back, but she had never really cared about that

Once she finally meet you she had stoped searching because she knows that what she feels for you is the love she was searching for, after meeting you she didn't care for the rest of the world

Kindness is something Toko is unfamiliar to, everyone in her life had treated her bad and thanks to that she had made an image of herself rather poorly

Even when Toko is already on a relationship with you she still have problems to get used to the idea of someone liking her, also, since her partner is someone she look up at that doesn't make things easier either (she could be a total simp sometimes)

The moment that you said that you are going to protect her she was taken aback and she will response rather harsh, but don't take her wrong she is really flustered and flattered that you want to protect her, but no one never had really care about her so she doesn't really know how to react to this

She had read about this kind of things in some books, may even wrote about it but she had always found it dumb, but right now this is really happening, and not just that but is happening to her!

She will ask you if you are piting her or something, because why would you say something like that? is that you are an idiot or something? (again, is just that she is just used to be treated poorly even for the people she had love)

Shouko is a really caring and attentive partner, whenever she sees you upset she instantly worries about you

If and when you decide to tell her about your fear she will ask you if you can repeat yourself just to makes sure she didn't misunderstood what you just tell her. She isn't going to judge you or anything, is just that you surprised her, and she quickly reasure you that you don't have to feel ashame or anything for your fear (even if you don't mind, she wants to makes sure you know that she doesn't judge you)

In case you decide to don't tell her anything about it then she will discover it when you two ended up in a dark place, in the moment she notice that you start getting nervous she gets nervous too, anxiously asking you whats the matter, at the end it would be that either you two ended up catching the attention of the rest of your friends and they came to help you or that she guide you somewhere with more lights (mainly to be able to see you clearly)

The first time you have a panic attack she panic too, not knowing how to help you and even feeling usless, decididing to take you from the arms and seeing you directly to the eyes, she even try to talk in hopes to calm you down (trying to give you words of reasure), also, she quickly search for an exit form that place or a switch to turn the lights on. However, it would depend in how dark is the place to how quickly (and desperate) she will try to get you away from there

Once you two are out of there she will try everything she can think on to help you calm down, and when you finally do it she shyly apologize for not being able to help you more. After some time she will ask you to teach her how to help you with your panic attacks in case it happen again

Yuzuru Nishimiya

Yuzuru is used to not having anyone aside from her family, specially because she left the school, but she have you by her side and she is grateful (even if she doesn't say it directly)

Also, she is really caring towards you, whenever she sees you upset/sad she gets worried, sometimes she ask you directly what is the matter, some other times she just try to distract

If you decide to tell her about your fear she will ask you the reason of your fear, out of curiosity, she is really interested in the reason but if you just don't know or don't want to talk about she will just let you be

If you decide to don't tell her she will end finding out by watching your behavior, noticing how you start getting nervous when it start to getting dark or when there is the posibility of going to a dark place, and she will end up confronting you and ask you whats wrong

She may seems like she doesn't care since she doesn't make a big deal of it, but its just that she doesn't see any problem with it, everyone fears something so is normal. Still, she have it in consideration, is important to you so is important to her

If you feel embarrassed for your fear she will reasure that you shouldn't, everyone fears different things and even so fearing at the darkness isn't that strange (everyone fear it at least once in their lives), she even tell you that if someone dare to make fun of you for your fear she will punch them in the face! (mostly in hopes to makes you laugh, she doesn't like seeing you so sad)

In the same way, if you want to try and confront your fear she will help you with it, she will be super supportive of you and will congratulate you for even the smallest improvement. She will never force you to do something that you don't want though, she doesn't have any right to do it

Sometimes she tease you for it, calling you baby or asking you maliciously if you are afraid of the monsters that hide in the dark, other times she playfuly tells you that she will drag you somewhere dark just to scare you a little, but she will never actually do it, at least not in purpose, and if you ever end in a situation like that or get a panic attack for the idea she deeply apologize (after helping you calm down) truly embarrassed with herself, but she usually stops when she sees you starting to get truly upset or afraid

With time Yuzuru gets used to holding your hand unconsciously whenever you two go somewhere dark, it could be that you directly go to somewhere dark or just that the night is start to fall, it could be that is just a little dark or completely dark she will take you hand since she doesn't want for you to forget that you have her by your side, and she isn't going anywhere

She likes to drag you around when she go to take some photos, but she try to make sure to not stay too late so it doesn't get too dark, however sometimes she gets to invested in the photos so much that she forget and it gets late, and everytime that happen she apologize (even if it isn't to late)

When you have a panic attack while being with her for the first time she gets really nervous, she try to focus on distracting you by saying different things, pointing out different things about the place and taking your hands and arms (if let her of course)

After you finally calm down she start to relax too, she admitted that she was super worried about you (she even tell you kidding to don't scare her like that again), and she will shyly ask you how she could help you in that situation in case it happen again
