do you have a favorite (or favorites) non-fox girl in azur lane

I would say Enterprise tops the list because... she's CV-6, the tired lonely warrior that won't stop till the job's done. BUT I think she's been edged out as a character by Helena META, who is just so supremely competent at everything that it adds extra power to her snark, has an eternally smiling mask that completely fails to hide how sad (and dangerous) she is, and we also have a steadily growing Helena to compare her to that really makes it better.

Shoukaku because of some early fan content and her reasoning for how she treats Akagi and Kaga being rooted in deep love

Big J because she's The Black Dragon and you will Understand that

Jean Bart and Richelieu for their dynamic and how each of them approaches leadership, also struggling with that in contrasting ways

Roon is the quintessential first-fighter. she loves jumping in and ripping her enemy's throat out with her hands, you know. and maybe eating their trachea in front of them before they die of blood loss. she's a bit silly like that.

Kii, Hyuuga and Kaga love a food fistfight. they aren't as brutal and enthusiastic about gore as Roon but they will beat the shit out of their enemy with their hands if it comes down to it. Akagi probably resorts to that as well if her loved one (be the skk, Enty, Shoukaku, whoever) gets into danger and punching the enemy is the fastest way of saving them.

I like to think Kronshdtadt and Belorussiya like a good fistfight too. I have this AU that's been on the works for literally more than one year (not due to complexity or anything i just suck at writing) where Belorussiya dies and since Soyuz and Kronshdtadt are dating/engaged this sends Kronshdtadt into a doomslayer-like killing spree of Sirens, that's her coping mechanism (i know that's a bit ooc)

Of the Ironblood, other than Roon, Ulrich. She's so annoyed by every day life she'll throw punches with anyone that annoys her when she's feeling too tired/overworked i think
