The Ascendant Gate ; One who took a different path to Telos IV

Every thing's gone to shit at lightspeed after that Moff had her brilliant idea to unlock all us loonies on this ship. Damn cursed thing it is. Ascendant Gate. Not sure what they were going for with that horrid name. Like being locked in a coffin with a rabid dog. Fucking love it. Glad I never joined the imperial Navy knowing I could have pulled duty here. Fucking Rebels blew up the Death Star. Fucking twice. And they're still not those Imperials' biggest problem.

I still have blood stains on my clothes. Can hear constant screams through the hull of the ship. The things they did to the Moff. To think she'd try and enlist them, that they'd be loyal after she let them out. I still can't eat in the galley. It was that Von'Tyx Scar. Led all those other crazies after they opened the cells. Took them minutes to take over the ship. Stormed the bridge, tore the guards apart. Lucky I knocked that fat lard Frydak Dukes into a crowd of space troopers. Gave me the chance to take them out before they blasted me.

We must've crashed... two days ago? A week? Really haven't been keeping track. Turns out running pirate ops in wild space can really wreck a ship and since Doc Shotuck didn't like our womp rat ass mechanic, he didn't last long after the Gonzanti raid. Think we're in one of Telos IV's reclamation zones. Ship's gotten colder. Could be those stasis pods. Empire had them all filled up with anybody near that anomaly back on Corrie. Did some people really just vanish out of thin air? After the crash, Scar and his men opened them all. Well, the ones that didn't break. Bodies all over the ship and not just Stormtroopers. Civilians, other criminals. The stench was something to be remembered. But it looks like most of those that were in stasis are still alive. Maybe half. Sure they're confused as hell. Like lying down for a nap and waking up a decade later halfway across the galaxy. Still gives me a laugh when I think about all the shit the imps loaded into the cargo bay from 1313. Like they're actually worried about falloff from that weird force shit. That besalisk could probably drag a damn ISD across a desert, the way he just tossed half the level out of the ship, dragging it to town. Can't believe they took that stupid noodle stand, too. Guy never shuts up about that cheesy holoflick, though. Wouldn't believe that hyper ass Aleena was in here if I didn't have to push him off me every damn week.

First day here most of the boys darted for civilization. I found it fascinating to watch the poor saps from back home come out of cryo shock. The things they said before fully coming to, you can really learn about human nature of a newborn adult. Besides, somebody had to bury the dead. Stashing some serious loot was nice too.

Anyway, I hear there's a few familiar names in a town nearby. Galaxy gets smaller everyday. Heading out at dawn. You find this flimsi, least you know the history of the Gate. Fucking hole in time, this thing.
