7/2/24 - Good morning! Today is going to feature a different set of posts, and I am still trying to decide how many.

Three years ago today, my wonderful friend Sandy Brown died in a tragic, horrifying accident. Sandy was a prolific Tumbr poster, over 51,000 in fact, as well as a wonderful writer of TG fiction on Fictionmania.

Sandy's Tumblr account was closed in November 2022. Fortunately, a number of her posts survive, including this one and those that follow today.

I knew who Sandy was in real life. Sandy's last posts here were late on the morning of July 2, likely within an hour of her death. For some time I assumed Sandy was away on a trip. But by late July I was extremely concerned, as was Kaylee (kellijwill), a long time friend who I introduced to Sandy.

I never expected to find Sandy when I did my Google search. Sadly, I did. One of the most difficult things I had to do was tell Kaylee that Sandy was gone.

Today, though, I am going to focus on the magic that Sandy created for so many of us, both here and in her stories on Fictionmania. Sandy had so many friends,

All of my posts today are ones that Sandy made or commented on, or allude to her. Some include prior posts and comments of mine, Kaylee and other friends. Others are simply Sandy herself.

I hope you enjoy all of them and recall the positive influence Sandy had. And if you didn't know Sandy, I hope you will sense why she became a friend to so many.

Sandy, I miss you.
