Featured Fic Friday!
Welcome to Featured Fic Friday! A day where I, or someone who suggests one, tell you about a fanfic that I really enjoy! Spoiler's under the cut! Today's featured fic is...
Secret Admirer by Shatterflowerdemon (Teen And Up, Complete)
The gift basket sits on your table for a full minute before you open it. When you take everything out, there are a few items. A card flutters out first. You grasp it. 'From your secret admirer. Someone really likes you, pal.'
A short fic, I think it's really sweet how the author builds up the relationship between the reader & the secret admirer! The gifts & messages they send to each other are really cute to read about!
Spoilers ahead!
I think it's neat how the author kind of hides the identity of the secret admirer until the end, even from us! Sure, we as the readers know that it's technically Sans, but the reveal of him being the king in this underground is so interesting!

He can help
Fandom: Stray Kids
Sickie: Seungmin
Caregiver: Chan
 No one’s POV.:
It had been a long day for all of Stray Kids. They had had three interviews and finished the day with a grueling dance practice. All of them were happy when they finally returned to the dorm for the evening. While the members took turns showering, Chan and Minho cooked dinner for the group. The first who finished freshening up, were Jeongin and Felix, the two laid the table, so they’d all be able to eat as soon as everyone had their shower. Not really having had the time to eat a proper lunch, the members felt like they’ve been starving. Especially Seungmin had complained the entire way back that his stomach was slowly digesting itself if he didn’t feed it anytime soon. Although now, that the food was on the food was on the table, his demeanor had changed completely. He didn’t dig in immediately like one would expect him to. Instead, he seemed hesitant, being the last one to pick up his chopsticks.
Seungmin himself was confused. He remembered being unbearably hungry towards the end of their dance practice but now that the room was filled with the savory scent of their dinner and there was a plate in front of him, the food suddenly didn’t seem as appetizing. His hunger seemed to have completely vanished and he couldn’t figure out why. Maybe he was just past the point of being hungry and the uncomfortable churning in his guts were hunger pains, so Seungmin picked up his chopsticks and started to eat. Chewing on some grilled meat, he felt like eating was the wrong thing to be doing right now but he couldn’t tell why. Minho certainly hadn’t gone easy on them today and the second youngest still felt shaky, like he had completely out done himself over the last few hours. He forced himself to eat at least half of his meal before pushing the plate away and resting his aching head on his folded arms. “Seungmin, you’ve been complaining about starving the entire time and now you’re now eating. Are you kidding me?”, Minho frowned. Seungmin lifted his head and gave the dancer an angry glare, frowning: “Yah, hyung. You’ve wrecked us with practice today and now you blame me for being exhausted?” – “Aww, is our little puppy tired?”, the second oldest mocked and Seungmin had to refrain from throwing his chopsticks at him. Chan only chuckled at the pair’s bickering but was silently wondering why the younger didn’t eat more of his dinner.
The truth was, the few bites Seungmin had pushed down, didn’t seem to sit right with him. Yeah, he had felt sore and exhausted earlier, which was to be expected after dancing so much. His head had been hurting a bit too, that could also be explained by the length of their schedule but now that his stomach was feeling a bit off too, the vocalist started to get confused. Maybe he was just stressed and running himself down, maybe he was coming down with something. Either way, a good sleep was the key to fixing many problems and he was tired anyways, so it wouldn’t be difficult to head to bed early tonight. Helping his members clear the table, Seungmin stayed in the kitchen a bit longer to make himself a cup of peppermint tea, which he took back to his room. “Good night, guys”, he said, waving at the others watching TV in the living room. Hyunjin got up with a frown, approaching the younger: “You’re already going to bed? It’s still early, don’t you want to join us?” – “Hyung, you were almost as bad as Minho-hyung today. Not everybody has as much stamina as you”, Seungmin stated, rolling his eyes, “any other day, I’d love to join but I’m really tired, so I’ll be turning in early today.” – “Alright, alright”, Hyunjin chuckled, hugging his dongsaeng, “sleep well, Minho and I will be quiet when we go to bed later.” Seungmin’s smile turned into a yawn, earning a smile from his hyung. With another small wave, he turned around and made his way to his room.
Originally, Seungmin had planned to just read another chapter of his book till he had finished his tea but feeling his head to heavy and eyes to sore to do so, he just put on his headphones and listened to Day6 on low volume, while sipping his tea. His back resting against the head board and his legs drawn close to his chest, he became more aware of the discomfort in his stomach, so he left a few sips of his tea and put the cup on the nightstand before turning of the light and wiggling down into a flat position, curled up on his side. As expected, it didn’t take long for sleep to pull him under. To his disappointment though, Seungmin woke up again, almost as quickly as he had fallen asleep. A short glance over at his roommates’ beds proved that he had in fact been asleep for quite some time, seeing them knocked out. He didn’t have to search for long to find the reason for waking up at this ungodly hour. The slight discomfort in his abdomen had turned into something much worse and now his stomach was churning angrily. Cold sweat coated Seungmin’s forehead and he could keep from shaking, feeling painfully cold. The vocalist nearly broke into tears. It had been a while since he had last felt this bad and back then, he was at home with his parents. His mom had made him tea and gave him a hot water bottle, while Seungmin was curled up on the couch, watching movies with his older sister. Now though, now he wasn’t at home anymore. Despite living with more people than ever before, Seungmin felt alone and he hated to be alone when he was this sick.
Seungmin thought about waking up at least one of his hyungs but he wasn’t sure. He was pretty sure, they were similarly as tired as him, so he would feel bad about depriving them of their precious sleep. After a few minutes of sitting on his bed, he had to realize that he’d feel just as bad if not worse, if he had to suffer by himself. Seungmin had already made up his mind about whom he’d go to. It was obvious really. ‘He can help. Channie-hyung always knows how to help’, the second youngest thought, placing his bare feet onto the cold floor. He shivered and when he left his room, he had to hold onto the door frame for a few seconds, almost getting knocked over by a sudden dizzy spell. Shuffling down the hallway to his hyung’s room, Seungmin steadied himself against the wall, cursing his shaky legs for not getting him where he wanted to be. A cramp tore at his stomach, causing the vocalist to sink into a crouch with one hand pressed firmly into his middle as he tried not to cry out and wake everyone. The next few minutes, he spent, leaning against the wall in the hallway, as he tried to breathe through the pain. It was cold and he truly regretted not taking his blanket with him.
At some point, the pain lessened a bit and Seungmin pulled himself together, struggling to his feet, so he could continue his journey. Quietly, he slipped into the room and stared at the leader’s sleeping figure, feeling guilty that he had to wake him when he was sleeping for once, a rare occurrence. He reached out and gently shook Chan’s shoulder. When he got no reaction, he decided to shake him a bit harder, earning a small grunt before the older turned over and continued sleeping. Growing desperate, Seungmin gave the leader’s shoulder a rough shove, which caused him to sit up startled. Chan looked around confused and still half-asleep and found Seungmin standing next to his bed like a lost puppy. “What’s going on?”, he whispered. The younger drew in a shaky breath and mumbled brokenly: “H-Hyung.” Sensing something wasn’t right, Chan clambered out of bed. He noticed the other shivering, so he through his blanket over his shoulder before putting a hand on Seungmin’s back to guide him to the living room, where they could talk without waking Chan’s roommates up.
Seungmin dropped down on the couch and immediately pulled his legs closer to his chest. Wrapping his blanket around the younger’s shoulders, the leader crouched down to eye-level and frowned: “Now Minnie, tell me what’s wrong.” – “Hyung, I-I feel really sick and I didn’t know what to do and I’m sorry for waking you up because you barely sleep but I just felt so bad and I didn’t want to be alone and…”, Seungmin rambled, getting cut of when Chan calmly sat down beside him and squeezed his shoulder. “It’s okay, I’m glad you woke me up when you’re now feeling well. Can you tell me what doesn’t feel right, so I can figure out how to help you?”, Chan smiled sympathetically. The younger pulled the blanket tighter around himself, desperate for warmth, and sniffled: “I-I’m really cold, my head hurts and my stomach is really upset.” – “I see. How long have you felt like that? I figured that’s why you ate so little during dinner and went to bed early?” – “Yeah”, Seungmin nodded, “I started feeling a bit off during dinner but it wasn’t really bad but then I woke up not too long ago and suddenly it was a lot worse.” – “Alright, let me get some stuff. Do you feel like you need to be sick?”, Chan asked getting up. Seungmin just shrugged and watched the leader disappear.
He was drifting in and out of consciousness, when Chan returned, setting down a bucket next to the couch. The leader gently brushed the younger’s sweaty hair off of his forehead and tilted his head a bit so he could take his temperature, frowning as it was confirmed what he had already expected. Seungmin was running a pretty high fever, so this was unlikely to be a result of stress or his food not agreeing with him, this was most likely some bug that the vocalist had managed to pick up. “Minnie, how do I help you best? Do you feel like you can stomach some tea or would you rather not drink anything right now?”, Chan asked, carding his fingers through his dongsaeng’s hair. He wasn’t sure if the thick blanket was really doing Seungmin any good with how high his fever was but the leader didn’t have the heart to take it away, considering how violently his dongsaeng was shivering. Seungmin blinked his glossy eyes open and rasped: “I don’t think it would stay in if I drink something right now. Could you maybe make me a hot water bottle?” – “I’m sorry, puppy, that would raise your fever even higher. I could rub your tummy instead?”, Chan frowned apologetically. Seungmin shook his head, not really wanting his sensitive stomach to be touched. Chan helplessly bit his lip, when he suddenly had an idea. He told the younger to hang in there, while he got up.
“Here, I remembered I still have those ginger gummies. Usually, they are meant for motion sickness but ginger is good for nausea in general, if you’d like to try that”, Chan explained. Seungmin nodded and took the gummy the leader handed him. Had he nod felt absolutely awful, he had chuckled at the smile face that almost made it look like candy. He kept it on his tongue, sucking on it and tasting the mild spicy flavor. Pulling a chair close, Chan took a seat next to the couch and played with his dongsaeng’s hair. He smiled as he watched the younger relax, humming: “Just try to get some rest, maybe you can sleep most of this off till tomorrow.” Seungmin nodded sleepily and snuggled deeper into the blanket. Maybe Chan was right, maybe he could actually get some sleep. The hand in his hair was certainly helping to make him drowsy.
Seungmin was slowly drifting off, when his body started to flush with heat, making sweat break out on his forehead and back. His mouth started to water and his stomach was swirling. With a weak whimper, he lifted a hand to his mouth, muffling a breathy burp as he struggled to sit up. Chan seemed to grasp the situation quickly, helped the younger sit up and placed the bucket into his lap. Being moved to an upright position, made Seungmin’s head spin and be just crossed his arms over the bucket and rested his head on them. Why was his stomach hating him so much? Chan noticed him swaying and steadied him with one hand on his back and one hand holding the bucket. Feeling his stomach contract, Seungmin mentally prepared himself but all that came up was some air that brought the taste of his dinner. Cringing at the taste, the boy hiccupped before burping wetly. This time, he could actually feel the liquid splash against the back of his throat and moved a trembling hand to get a better grip on the bucket. He gave a small cough, that triggered a gag. Chan whispered gentle reassurances before giving his back a few rough pats, which brought his dinner up his throat. The splashing sound of his stomach contents hitting the plastic container sent shivers down Seungmin’s spine. Retching again, his stomach was eager to get everything up. He was left panting between the waves, having to rely on his hyung to keep him up, as his head was spinning faster and faster. “It’s okay. I got you”, the older whispered, “Deep breaths, it’ll be over soon.”
Seungmin so badly wanted to believe him, so badly wanted all of this to be over. He spat into the bucket, burying his head deeper before choking up a thin stream of bile. It really seemed like he was empty, yet his stomach wouldn’t stop throwing a fit, leaving him dry heaving for what must have been ten minutes. His throat felt abused by the acid and the strain put on it from trying to force something up when there was nothing. Seungmin’s stomach slowly calmed down, so Chan deemed it safe to place the bucket back onto the ground and helped the younger to lay down again, whispering: “Stay awake just a bit longer, yeah? I’ll get you some cool water for your throat and to wash away the taste.” He really didn’t take long, soon propping Seungmin up again and lifting a glass to his swollen lips. The vocalist greedily chugged it, sighing at the relief it brought his throat. It made Chan frown and he pulled the glass away from time to time, afraid his dongsaeng would make himself sick again. Placing down the empty glass, he helped Seungmin peel off his sweaty shirt and got the younger situated again with the blanket only covering his legs and waist, so he could cool down a bit. The leader then went to clean out the bucket, which they’d certainly be needing again later. He also fetched a damp washcloth before making his way back to the living room. Seungmin was barely awake by the time Chan came back. He didn’t feel hot anymore and was instead shivering with the blanket pulled up to his chin. The leader couldn’t help but sigh at the pitiful sight. He used the washcloth to clean the tear-tracks and caked sweat from the younger’s face, wiping his chin and folding the cloth to lay it across the fever-hot forehead. Pulling the chair closer, the oldest hyung prepared himself for a long night as he listened to his dongsaeng’s labored breathing and continued to play with his sweaty messed up hair.

Part III | Surprise Visitors
We get some other character’s perspectives in this chapter!
Warnings: Mild swearing
Word Count: 3,442
A/N: I’m in the middle of writing other chapters but I can’t decide, does Y/N end up with Grayson… or Ethan?!
part 1 part 2
Thank God the next day was Saturday, and although that didn’t mean a whole lot since I usually spent the day with the twins anyway, today was different.
I spent the whole night curled up in my bed watching chick flicks and ignoring Ethan’s persistent calls and texts. To be fair, I felt bad and had at least let him know I made it home safely but didn’t respond after that. It’s not like it was Ethan’s fault, he didn’t know about Grayson’s new girlfriend either, but I couldn’t tell Ethan how I felt if I wasn’t even sure how I felt.
Grayson had always been my best friend. When I moved out to LA from Connecticut the twins were the first real friends I had made. I had prior experience as a personal assistant to very wealthy CEO’s at large companies, and a recruiter had seen my resume and asked me if I was interested in a position with two clients who were social media moguls. I had no idea who the twins were when I met them, as I suppose I wasn’t their target demographic. I was 3 years older than them and had no idea what vine even was, never mind that they had blown up on the app. I guess you could say I wasn’t the trendiest teen back then.
The three of us had hit it off right away, probably because I treated them like normal people, I never put them on a pedestal. I wasn’t blind to how girls looked at them, I was even an unwilling target to some online slander from people who wanted to pin me to one of them. But it was never like that. We truly were just best friends, until now.
As I sat in my bed debating if I was ever going to crawl out of this mess of blankets and sheets, I wasn’t sure where I stood with the twins. Of course, I would always be professional when it came to work, but I now felt this awkwardness around Grayson. What was Ethan hinting at when he told Grayson he needed to tell me about his girlfriend? Why would they think I needed to know? Grayson didn’t owe me anything. Was there some kind of secret behind my back about me liking Grayson? Because certainly, I had never implied that, or at least I don’t think I did? Ethan would never go behind my back and make something like that up, so I wasn’t sure where any of this stemmed from.
______________
Noon rolled around and I finally pulled myself together enough to drag my ass out of bed and into the kitchen for some food. Still drowning in Ethan’s sweatshirt and a pair of PJ shorts I had thrown on.
“Well it’s about damn time,” a deep voice said from behind me
I jumped and threw my back against the fridge, I held a knife stabbed halfway through an avocado in my hand, looking towards my couch to see a mop of dark hair facing away from me towards the wall of windows
“ETHAN WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” I screamed
“We have a spare key in case of emergencies Y/N. After you texted me you were home last night you never answered any of my other attempts to talk. I was genuinely worried about you. I came over around 3 am and saw you sleeping in bed surrounded by tissues. I decided I would sleep on the couch and be here when you woke up, I didn’t want you to be alone. I texted you that, but apparently, you decided to just let your phone die. Now please, put down the knife, that avocado isn’t very threatening ” Ethan laughed as he made his way towards me.
My heart melted. Here I was wasting the day away feeling sorry for myself when this man in front of me came over just to see if I was okay and then slept here in case I needed anything. What the hell did I do to deserve him?
I didn’t say anything, I tossed the knife on the counter and walked towards Ethan, I tucked my head into his chest and felt him wrap his arms around me. He pecked the top of my head and rubbed his hands slowly up and down my back. We stood silently in the embrace for a while.
“I’m okay E, to be honest, I’m not even sure why I was so upset. I told you before there was nothing going on between Gray and me, and now it’s just proof.” I said softly
“Y/N, you may not have thought there was anything, but there was - there is. I saw it, the guys all saw it. To be honest, you weren’t the only one let down last night. After the guys left they all texted me bummed out about the whole situation. There is absolutely no one who is as perfect for Gray as you. Literally, everyone around you guys can see that”
I felt myself smile into Ethan’s chest at his kind words, it felt nice that everyone thought so highly of me. That they all thought that I was good enough for their best friend and brother. But at the end of the day, it didn’t matter. He had a girlfriend, and she wasn’t me.
I pulled away from him with his hands still resting on my shoulders. I tried to change the subject, as anything would be a better conversation than this.
“So, what should we do today Etee?” I smirked as I teased him. He hated that nickname and I knew it, but it was cute.
Ethan sighed at my use of his name, “Well, Mom and Cam are coming into town today actually, I’m supposed to pick them up in a few hours. Do you want to come?”
I loved the twin’s family. Their sister was my age and so much fun to gang up on the boys with. Their mom Lisa was the best. She was super supportive of everything the boys did and would even check up on me once in a while. My mom had never been exactly present in my life, so in a way, she helped to fill the void.
“Is that even a question?!” I asked, suddenly feeling my mood shift to pure excitement.
“I thought you might like that, we have to pick them up around 2:30, it’s going to take us an hour to get there from here, so you better get your ass in the shower because you fucking stink,” He said, pulling his head to the side implying he was trying to escape me.
“Oh, fuck you, dude. I absolutely do not stink, and even if I did, it’s your sweatshirt, which means you’re the stinky one” I scoffed at him, smirked, then turned to head down the hall towards the shower.
______________
Ethan POV
I watched Y/N walk away and head towards the bathroom, my eyes inspecting every inch of her body. She was perfect. She had absolutely no idea how perfect she actually was. I couldn’t stand the fact that my idiot brother had this perfect of a woman pining for him and decided to ignore her for someone else.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my brother. He’s my best friend. But he can be a real idiot. The thing is, I’m not even sure he knows Y/N is crazy for him. In fact, Y/N doesn’t even know she’s crazy about him, but everyone else knows. They are so perfect for each other it makes me want to vomit out of jealousy. Someday I want to find someone as perfect as she is, though I know it will be a challenge.
I told her my mom and sister were coming into town today, and they are. But, I might have left out the part that I called them late last night and asked them to come. I explained what happened at the fire and when they agreed to come, I booked them on the next available flight out here.
They loved Y/N as much as Grayson and I did. My mom thought of her as her own, considering Y/N’s mom wasn’t the best. She left when Y/N was little and calls her once in a while when she runs low on money. Grayson and I have been throwing extra cash into her paychecks to cover it. We told her it was a pay raise, which part of it was, but we doubled it and if Y/N knew she would kill us. She never asks for anything, never expects anything, and never tries to inconvenience anyone. Her dad has always tried his best, but he works a lot and isn’t sure how to relate to her as a grown woman. Over the last two years, she has become more of a Dolan than a Y/L/N, my whole family accepts her with open arms, and secretly hopes one day she will actually be a Dolan. Of course, none of that will happen if Grayson stays with whatever her name is.
______________
Y/N POV
I showered, got dressed, fixed my hair and makeup and headed back out to the living room where Ethan was half asleep scrolling through twitter. He clicked his phone screen off when he noticed I had entered the room
Tumblr media
“Damn” Ethan whispered to himself
I could feel my cheeks blush slightly
“Uh, you ready, E?”
“I’ve been ready, the question is, are you?” he replied, trying to cover for his trip up
“I’m ready! Let’s go get these beautiful ladies so I can ditch you and hang out with some real winners” I laughed as I pulled him up off the couch.
We hopped up into Ethan’s jeep and headed towards the airport. I absolutely loved this car. He had modified it so perfectly that everything about it screamed Ethan. He turned up the radio and started bobbing his head while I pulled my sunglasses over my eyes and leaned my head back into the headrest, letting my hair blow in the wind. He looked over at me, smiled and placed his hand on my knee. This wasn’t odd for us, it was his way of letting me know he was there, but that he didn’t want to turn down his music to talk. All of which, I was okay with. I didn’t want to talk.
______________
“Y/N/N!” Cameron screamed as she ran up and threw her arms around me in the biggest hug. I laughed and looked over her shoulder to see Lisa coming along smiling at the two of us
“Hey gorgeous, what the heck! I didn’t know you ladies were coming into town! I usually have you guys on the twin’s schedules for weeks before you visit” I said looking between Cameron and Lisa with an excited confusion.
Both women looked over at Ethan, unsure of what he actually told Y/N, clearly not the truth, and went along with the story line.
“Oh well, we wanted to surprise the boys and didn’t say anything until last night to them about coming to visit… SURPRISE!” Lisa fibbed as she embraced Y/N in a hug while shooting Ethan wide eyes hoping she said the right thing. He nodded in acceptance of her answer.
We all got back into Ethan’s jeep, his mom and sister in the back as they had insisted I sit in front. I always felt wrong about making a parent sit in the back, but Lisa had insisted.
I suddenly felt a wave of dread wash over me. They would definitely want to go back to the boy’s house to drop off their things and say hi to Grayson. I, on the other hand, did not want to say hi to Grayson until at least Monday.
______________
Lisa POV
I had insisted Y/N sit up front with Ethan. She was so sweet how she always offered me the front, but I knew she needed to be next to my son more than I did right now. As we drove back to the boy’s house I watched how Ethan would smile and look at her and how she mirrored the gesture. To be honest, I would be over the moon if she dated Ethan, the chemistry between them was undeniable. I could tell from a mother’s perspective that she truly made Ethan happy, but I didn’t know if either of them actually felt that way towards each other. Ethan had always insisted it wasn’t like that and that he was pulling for Y/N to get with Grayson. I would be a lucky parent to have that girl end up with either of my sons, so if Ethan felt that way and everyone was happy, it would be okay with me.
But that’s not why we’re here.
When Ethan called in the middle of the night I panicked. No parent likes to receive phone calls from their children at odd hours of the night. He sounded very concerned about Y/N and had mentioned that Grayson screwed up. I had kind of put the pieces together and Ethan filled in the details about Gray’s new girlfriend. My heart hurt for the poor girl. As far as I knew no words were ever exchanged from her about Grayson in that way, but we weren’t blind to it. She spent plenty of time with us both here and in New Jersey and I found myself daydreaming about the days of her and Grayson having kids running around my home and sitting together on our front porch hand in hand. She was everything he had ever said he wanted in a woman. Sometimes, we can’t see two inches in front of our face, and surely this was the situation with my son.
______________
Y/N POV
As we rounded the bend towards the gate I was all too familiar with, Ethan gently squeezed my knee. I looked over at him and he nodded in acknowledgment that he knew this would be hard for me but that he knew I could do it. And I would.
We parked in Ethan’s usual spot and everyone hopped out. I helped Lisa grab her bag as we headed towards the front door. Suddenly it opened
“E, where the hell have you been…” Grayson’s voice trailed off as he came storming out of the house and realized Ethan wasn’t alone.
“Mom? Cam? What are you guys doing here? Y/N were they on our calendars?” He looked at me happy but concerned
“Uh… I” I started but Ethan jumped in
“No, I stayed at Y/N’s last night because she wasn’t feeling well, mom texted me while I was there that it was a surprise and we just got back from picking them up” he explained, while looking at his mom and sister for back up. The three nodded in agreement.
“Okay… wait you stayed at Y/N’s?” Grayson asked looking between me and Ethan. He really had no idea what had happened last night, and here was Ethan covering my tracks. But Gray wasn’t stupid, he knew it wasn’t normal for Ethan to stay at my house even if I wasn’t feeling well. But Ethan brushed it off and changed the subject.
“Okay, let’s get inside, I want to drop off their bags so we can show them the new tiny home,” he said. Although there wasn’t much to show them except the empty shell at this point, it got the subject off of me and away from Grayson’s questions.
The four of us walked past Grayson in the driveway as he turned to watch us. I could tell something about this situation didn’t sit right with him, but I didn’t know why. He had a girlfriend. Ethan staying at my house was no concern of his.
We walked through the door and immediately I regretted being there. I could tell she was still there because there was a woman’s bag on the side table. She spent the night
We gathered in the kitchen, deciding what to do for the evening when Grayson came back into the kitchen with her in tow.
“Hey Mom, Cam, I want you to meet someone special. This is my girlfriend Alyana” Grayson said introducing the three of them.
Someone special. The words stung my ears. I hated what this was doing to me. How the heck was I supposed to come to work every day if I couldn’t even get through 5 minutes of being here. Surely now that she’s been introduced to everyone, Grayson plans to have her around a lot more. I was going to have to handle that.
I turned my attention to Ethan who was looking at his phone, ignoring the interaction in the room. He looked up from his phone and pulled my chair closer to his so I could see the video he was watching.
______________
Cameron POV
Surely my brother was joking. He presented this girl to us like she was some shiny surf board he won at the teen choice awards. The fake smile plastered on her face when she said hi was enough to make me puke. I saw right through her, and I knew if I saw through her so did Ethan. Grayson might be his twin but we were more on the same wavelength when it came to stuff like this. We can both spot a faker from miles away, while Grayson has the worst judge of character of anyone I know, clearly. Considering Y/N is sitting in the dining room with Ethan while this dumb ass is flaunting a girl I could replicate off of Instagram in a second.
“Hi, I’m Cameron” I tried my best to smile.
“I know! I’ve heard so much about the famous Cam” she said
“Cameron” I corrected her.
Grayson shot me a look. He knew I was being salty, but she didn’t know me. She didn’t know anything about me. Surely we were not on a nickname basis. My family and friends call me Cam, not some bimbo who’s using my brother for clout.
“Right, Cameron” she giggled her fake giggle.
I smiled roughly and turned to go sit with Ethan and Y/N. Surely whatever they were talking about would be much more fun than what was happening here.
______________
Y/N POV
Cam came and sat down next to me, smiling and placing her head on my shoulder. Did she know something I didn’t? Why did that smile seem sympathetic?
“Hey, do you guys want to go down to the beach for a little while and then grab some food?” Ethan broke the silence.
“Is that even a question? I absolutely want to go anywhere but here” I laughed while nudging him with my shoulder.
“I’m in, let me go get Mom,” Cameron said
“Can we please just go the four of us?” I asked Ethan quietly. I really didn’t know if I could handle staring at Grayson and Bimbo Barbie all night. Was I jealous of her? It was surely starting to seem that way.
Ethan nodded in agreement and quickly sent a text. At first, I didn’t know to whom until a pissed off Grayson stormed into the room.
“SO FIRST YOU SPEND THE ENTIRE NIGHT AT OUR ASSISTANTS HOUSE AND NOW YOU’RE EXCLUDING ME FROM PLANS WITH OUR FAMILY?!” Grayson shouted as Ethan stood over me in defense
Our Assistant? So now that’s how he saw me? What the fuck is happening.
“We just figured you guys might want some alone time Gray, no big deal, we’ll bring you guys back food if you want” Ethan covered for me. Again
I looked between Ethan and Grayson for a minute. Them arguing wasn’t really anything out of the norm, but I knew secretly it was because of me. Over my stupid feelings and it made me feel horrible.
“It’s okay E, I don’t have to go, you guys should go out as a family. Your mom and sister just got here, you should catch up” I tried to intervene.
“Well, all I see in this room is family” Lisa chimed in looking at me square in the eye. She was not going to let me bow out that easily. Little did I know she had come here for me, not them.
“Fine Ma, then we’ll all go,” Grayson said in a chilling tone, giving Ethan a smug look.
Great so it’ll just be me, the Dolans and Bimbo Barbie . One big happy family.

Girl With The Tattoos|3

Broken.
♦️
Na'imah was only seven when she went to live with her mothers estrange sister, Hazel, after her parent's untimely death.
In the beginning, everything was fine. Hazel had taken Na'imah in, including her as a part of her family which consisted of her two daughters, Aubrey and Eva, and her police chief husband Nico.
During her grieving period, they all were there for her, comforting her, showing her the love that she had once felt when her parents were alive. Her cousins who she felt like were more like her older sisters always found a way to cheer her up, doing everything together. Something that Na'imah was looking forward to being herself until the day of the accident.
Not only did she lose her parents but also her little sister who was only three months away from being born.
And although Her Aunt Hazel and Uncle Nico weren't her mother and father, they temporarily filled the void inside her heart for a while.
It wasn't until she turned ten that things begin to change though.
The love that she once had felt around her new family started to fade. Na'imah being as intelligent as she is picked up on it immediately. Her cousins had become distant and rude, her aunt was less caring, leaving Na'imah to literally take care of herself. It was almost as if she had become invisible in a place she called home.
But it was her uncle who was by far the worst.
When Na'imah first moved in, she never questioned the loving hugs and kisses she would receive from her uncle because of how he presented himself. However, she did notice the older she got, he started to look at her differently. Especially after she hit puberty and her appearance and body begin to change. His touches would linger as well as his lips that seemed to move a little closer to her mouth than her cheek each time.
Na'imah's eleventh birthday was the day her life turned into the nightmare she had dealt with for over seven years.
She still remembered the day so vividly. How happy she was to be turning eleven. Her aunt who hadn't been the best had seemed to make a turnaround, promising her a day filled with shopping for new clothes and shoes, as well taking her out for manis and pedis and to end her day with going to her favorite restaurant to eat.
But it was all a lie.
Since she had gone to sleep late the night before, she had woken up pretty late, missing out on the birthday breakfast her aunt had promised her. Disappointed, she had gotten out of bed, only to realize that her aunt and cousins had left without her, leaving her alone with her uncle and men she remembered seeing a few times.
At first, Na'imah didn't think too much about it, still seeing no reason to fear them.
Of course, that quickly changed.
On a day that was supposed to be filled with laughter and happy memories were replaced with screams of fear and heartbreak.
She still recalled what her uncle had said when they corned her in his man cave that was located in the basement. How they were only allowed to touch her wherever they pleased but "Her virginity belonged to him."
He allowed them to do things to her that no one should ever do to someone so young. Forcing her to touch them in a manner that made her want to throw up.
And once they were finished, she was warned to keep her pretty little mouth closed because "who would believe her" he said.
Na'imah felt utterly disgusting, even after she cleaned herself. She wanted so badly to tell her aunt once she came home but quickly realized that she was set up with a simple look she received from the woman she thought loved her.
When she was thirteen, her uncle words had come true as he stole something so precious that she could never get back.
All while her aunt knew, as well as her daughters.
Every day she woke up in that house, she wished that she was dead. The pain she experienced always threatened to break her down but she never allowed it to, she couldn't.
When Na'imah left, she made sure to leave no trace behind, making sure they wouldn't know where she was going which was hard to do since her uncle had eyes everywhere.
Still, she managed to escape, breaking free from the consistent torment that her "family" gave her.
Sadly, her past still haunts her on a daily but it was always worse whenever she closed her eyes to sleep. No matter how hard she tried, she could never escape it.
Because of what happened, she never had a regular relationship with people. Trust being something she felt no one really deserved, always keeping the wall made of steel up around everyone she met....until JB.
She rarely let anyone get close to her and here she was allowing someone she could never have, slowly tear down something she had strongly built up for her protection. A man she felt like was too pure to deal with her fucked up thing called life.
She had convinced herself that she was too broken to be fixed but she quickly realized that JB was someone who never gives up.
"Na'imah!"
Jumping at the sudden sharp voice, Na'imah snapped back into reality, eyeing the man who stood smiling in front of her. "Yes?" Jinsung was always the quiet and reserved type, so this was the first time she had ever heard him raise his voice since she first met him. He was a sweet but stern older gentleman who happens to own the 7/11 she works at.
"I would ask what's on your mind but I doubt you would tell me," He said with a raised eyebrow, tucking the magazine he had under his arm. "There's someone waiting outside for you." He added, shifting his gaze towards the entrance which she followed.
Na'imah did a double take before leaning a bit over the counter to see if her eyes were playing tricks on her. "H-how do you know it's for me?"
"He asked," Jinsung stated simply, making his way around to the back of the counter to stand next to her. "I can handle things from here. Go and enjoy the rest of your day with your boyfriend."
"He's not my boyfriend." She quickly rushed out.
Jinsung made a face, chuckling lowly. "I'm not sure other girls would deny an idol being called their boyfriend."
At hearing this, Na'imah stared at him with wide eyes. It wasn't as if one could tell who JB was, especially with his face being covered by had a hat and a mask. Maybe he looked a bit suspicious standing by a van, looking into the store but nothing screamed idol.
"H-he's no-"
"Sure he isn't," Jinsung said dismissively, cutting her denial short. "I'm thirty-six Na'imah, I know an idol when I see one."
With the slight roll of his eyes, he undid her apron an slightly pushed her to the side. "He's been standing there for a while, don't want to keep him waiting too long. Go."
Side-eyeing Jinsung, Na'imah grabbed her things and made her way towards the exit, her heart beating rapidly inside her chest with every step. She had hung out with JB a few times since that night in the studio, so she didn't understand why she still was so nervous around him.
Maybe it was because those times they have been together, it was usually late and no one was around. Now it was early in the morning when everyone was out and about, starting their day.
"And don't worry about coming in tonight, take the night off," Jinsung added just as Na'imah reached for the door handle.
Shooting him a look, she pushed the door open, taking a few steps to stand in front of JB in his all-black attire, his familiar scent hitting her senses. "What are you doing here?" She asked softly, still surprised that he was here in front of her.
She hadn't been able to see him for two weeks because of his scheduling, so for him to pop up so unexpectedly made her both happy and nervous.
Since his hat was so low, she couldn't see that he had been drinking in her appearance the moment she walked out. The way those white jeans hugged her thighs and hips, took his mind to a place it's traveled to often because of her. Sometimes he wondered if she knew how beautiful she was, both inside and out.
"JB?"
Lifting his gaze higher until his eyes landed on her smirking face, he reached for hands, pulling her in for a hug, ignoring the curious looks of people passing by. Her warmth engulfed him as he squeezed her, placing his lips against her neck much to her dismay. He was aware of how it affected her when he did it, earning that soft moan she always let out when he teased her.
"I missed you." He softly told her, allowing his lips to brush across her ear. What he really wanted to do was kiss her but he couldn't risk his face being exposed which he understood but still nonetheless hated.
"I missed you too." She said sincerely, still not believing that he was actually here.
"Come with me." He invited, pulling the door to the van back so she could get in. Seeing no point in asking questions, she slid in with him following behind her, closing the door behind him. "You don't have anything planned today do you?"
She gave him a knowing look. "You know I don't have much of a life outside of work."
If she wasn't working, then she was home, snuggled up on her couch, watching tv or movies. Occasionally she'd wander around the city to get more familiar with it but other than that, Na'imah was pretty much the definition of a homebody.
"You weren't joking when you said you didn't have many friends were you?"
Shaking her head, she shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "Not really. I still keep in contact with a few good people I've met during my military service but I'm not all that close to anyone like that. Never have been." She knew that it wasn't good to be as isolated as she was but she couldn't help it. Her past made her that way.
JB hummed lowly. "I think that's starting to change." He acknowledged, shedding light on how close they both have gotten since they exchanged numbers. Though she was still holding back things, JB still knew quite a bit about her. He found that she was easier to read than he thought, having the habit of wearing her emotions on her face for the world to see.
More than anything he wanted to know who or what hurt her for her to be so hesitant and distant. She had revealed that she has never been in a real relationship before but has dated around a few times. That made him curious as to why nothing serious ever came from them but didn't surprise him after he's gotten a feel of who she was.
"Maybe." She smiled at him softly, playing with the rings on his fingers. "Where are we going?"
"My place." He said, sitting back against his seat as the driver moved into traffic. "If you don't mind of course." He added once he took in her facial experience.
Clearing her throat, she shook her head. "No, it's fine. I wasn't doing anything today anyway." She had been alone with him before, so this shouldn't be any different.
"You sure?" He questioned, placing his hand on her thigh, feeling her shiver from his touch. It was interesting to him how she reacted whenever he touched her. He remembered a few weeks back the fear in her eyes when things got intensely heated between them, that made him quickly pull back. She reassured him that it wasn't him and that she simply wasn't ready which he understood but her reaction scared him and also arose many questions.
She enjoyed his touch, that much he knew but she had boundaries which he respected but he knew something terrible happened to her.
"Yes, as long as food is involved." She half-joked, hungry after her eight-hour shift. She'd eat a few snacks throughout her shift but what she wanted more than anything was real food.
JB laughed, linking their fingers together. "Already two steps ahead of you." He made a mental note to thank Jinyoung once again for suggesting a restaurant he's never heard of for food they both felt like she would enjoy.
It was the small things he did that made her feelings for him grow every day. Always leaving her gifts of her favorite things from food to flowers. She appreciated how he paid attention to everything she's revealed about herself, even the little detail about her favorite Digimon character, Patamon, in which he gave her a plush toy of, along with other characters.
"What?" He spoke up. Tilting his head to the side as he eyed Na'imah staring him at him with this soft look on her face.
"I...thank you." She muttered, not knowing what else to say after being caught.
"For what?"
Laying her head against his shoulder, she sighed deeply, enjoying his presence. "For being you."
A comfortable silence fell between them after that, with JB smiling and Na'imah drifting in and out of sleep until the car came to a stop. Refusing to let her walk in her sleepy state, he carried her to the front door of his dorm. Knowing that Jinyoung and Yugyeom were home, he chose to knock, hoping at least one of the members were awake to answer.
A few seconds later, a tired looking Yugyeom opened the door, rubbing his eyes. "Hyung, you have a key, wh-"
Realizing that JB wasn't alone, Yugyeom's sentence cut short after noticing the sleeping woman in his arms. "Yeojachingu?" He mouthed, not wanting to wake her as he stood to the side to let them in.
JB rolled his eyes, not bothering to answer the youngest members question. If he was being honest, he didn't know what they were and he wasn't going to put a title on it until he knows if her feelings are mutual.
He debated if he should wake her but thought against it since he didn't want to disturb her. Walking towards his room with Yugyeom close behind him, he placed her on his bed, removing her jacket as Yugyeom removed her boots. Once she was laid comfortably underneath his covers, JB had to practically drag Yugyeom out of his room, cracking the door behind him.
"She's pretty." Yugyeom grinned, ignoring the dark look JB was sending his way. "I always wondered where that sweet scent on your clothes comes from when you come home from the studio. Now I see where who it belongs to." The maknae stated, loving how irritated his hyung was looking at the moment.
"I would suggest you leave him alone unless you want to revisit the same headlock from a few nights ago," Jinyoung spoke up, stepping from the kitchen with a glass of water in hand.
Yugyeom pouted, sneaking a glance at JB who busied himself with the food on their kitchen table. "I'll have to order something else once she wakes up." He told them. "Let's eat."
He chewed on a piece of sausage while his members joined him, eating the Americanized breakfast that he gotten specifically for Na'imah, figured she would love to eat food from the US. He knew first hand what it was like to miss certain food when away from home.
"So, will we get to meet her once she gets up?" Jinyoung asked, slapping Yugyeom's hand from taking all of the bacon.
"If she doesn't mind." He was more than ready to introduce her to the people he loved. He knew that around them, he wouldn't have to hide the woman he wanted to call his own. And in time, hopefully, he could show off to the world one day.
Maybe he was thinking too far ahead but he didn't care. He was finding it hard to keep his feelings in check, even constantly telling himself that they were simply just friends, though he wanted to be more. This was more than just a simple crush.
"Have you at least spoken to JYP before you take things further?"
JB shook his head. He knew that he was allowed to date, however, he was afraid of the feedback he'd receive when he told management about her ethnicity. He didn't want to lose someone he considers to be so special to him.
Yugyeom and Jinyoung shared a look before staring at JB. "Your secret is safe with us."
"And we'll have your back no matter what." Yugyeom nodded.
A small smile pulled at JB's lips at their comforting words but he knew that soon, especially if something more blooms between him and Na'imah, that he will have to let his company know the truth.
And if things don't go as he hopes, he will refuse to let her go no matter of their wishes.

Yoongi Scenario: Evil Eyes.
Request: Hello loves ❤ can I request a yoongi scenario(fluffy pls) about him being jealous/possessive? I'm not sure why you can just let your imaginations decide that thank you 😘❤❤❤❤❤ + Hey there~ I really like your scenarios and I was wondering if you girls could make an scenario where y/n's brother came to visit and yoongi didn't know (neither does he knows how her brother looks like) and then he finds him in his and y/n apartment. Her brother is staying a few days and yoongi during those days feels kinda jealous? Thanks 😊 Sorry if it isn't very clear 😅 if you can't do it I understand don't worry
Genre: Fluff / Comedy.
Yoongi was eager to get home, he was supposed to have full schedule today but when the radio show they were attempting got cancelled he rushed home where you should be since you weren’t going anywhere that saturday, Yoongi had already a couple of things in mind for you to do with this free time, all of them in the bedroom. He looked at himself in the mirror in the elevator, he looked nice still with fashionable clothes and a his hair done, he wouldn't admit it to anyone but he liked to look his best for you, you were always so pretty sometimes Yoongi thought he was lacking. But he smirked at himself disregarding those thoughts, thinking about you who would already have that little silky pajama thing, even if it was still half afternoon.
Opening the door he got rid of his jacket and shoes but then he heard something that made him sharpen his ear. The sound of your laugh, Yoongi would have been delighted any day to hear it only that this it was accompanied by a man's laughter.
He frowned thinking of who could possibly be here with you, you didn't meet guy friends at home, you hadn't told him anything about anyone visiting either. You squealed, sounding very pleased and something in Yoongi burned. Suddenly images of you with some guy laughing together, touching, kissing, you with that silky little thing on but to other man to take off, it made him inhale sharply, Yoongi stomped his way into the apartment following the sounds of laughter, you squealing, the man telling you were as mischievous as ever. It made him lose his cool completely, he didn't want to believe what he was hearing so he stormed into the kitchen and saw you, in the arms of another guy.
You were fully dressed that was what he noticed first but his hands were on you and just that made his own hands go to fists, you were on the middle of the kitchen and it looked like he was tickling you or teasing you, both options sounding like big no's for Yoongi, no other could be touching you like that.
-What the hell is this?-
You were startled to hear him, but as you looked his way you didn't lose your smile, neither did you jump apart from that guy, Yoongi wanted to lunge at him, he wanted to tear his hands away from you.
-Babe you are here!- you smiled wider and the guy smiled a little too, what kind of twisted shit was this. -This is...-
But before you could say something else Yoongi walked to you and shoved the guy away, it was stupid for him to do it when he should just leave since you were having so much fun, but he couldn't stand the sight of you with someone else.
-Yoongi!- you recriminated like he was on the wrong, him! Like he was the one fooling around and not you.
-Hey man...- the guy started speaking and his voice made him snap.
-Get the fuck out out here-
You walked until you were in between them frowning at Yoongi who was trying to keep his cool but he very well knew it was far gone.
-I'll talk with you later Y/N, first this asshole has to...-
-He's my brother!- you exclaimed outraged.
Well fuck.
After that you went to your room where you explained Yoongi that your brother had come here on an unplanned visit. Yoongi knew you had a brother but oddly enough he didn't remember at the time how he looked like since he had only seen him on a few pictures a long time ago, and there was the fact that he had been blinded by jealousy.
-I can’t believe you actually thought I was here with another man, cheating on you, god Yoongi-
He sighed in frustration. -What do you want me to think if I come here and find you with some guy I don't recognize?-
You glared at each other for a moment, both of you challenging each other with your eyes just before sighing and hugging, Yoongi's arms embracing you extra tight because he was feeling extra possessive after thinking you with another guy -He'll be staying here for the weekend, alright?-
-Here?-
-He's my brother, of course here, now, we were preparing dinner let’s go out and make the introductions-
-Hum, alright-
You pecked him before detaching from his arms. -Be nice-
Yoongi raised his brows and shrugged. -I'm nice-
You rolled your eyes going out of the door, this was going to be a ride.
You introduced Yoongi to Changsun who was still a bit impressed by the little scene from earlier, but fortunately your brother was lighthearted and didn’t hold onto things for too long, he stretched Yoongi's hand and smiled, Yoongi pulled off a good enough polite face that you found a bit suspicious but decided to ignore for the moment.
You were all in the kitchen, but you really weren’t doing much since Changsun was the one cooking.
-Changsun oppa is the best in the kitchen- you stated proudly. -Back at home mom and him would make everything, today he's doing his special, pasta carbonara-
Changsun laughed. -Nothing special- he denied as he mixed the cream to perfection. -Just something I learned-
-Yoongi loves pasta, right Yoong? -
Yoongi nodded sitfly eyeing all the cooking. -Well made pasta-
Changsun laughed again and you nudged at your boyfriend giving him a short glare. -Lets hope this one is good-
The pasta was heavenly as you had expected from your brother, you chatted away as you ate, putting each other at day, Yoongi on his behalf watched everything only intervining here and there. Afterwards you retired the plates but Changsun offered to help, you took everything to the kitchen where soon the games started, you were very playful with each other and he would more often than not pick on you for amusement.
You laughed at the tickling and then you knew he'd star using the soap because even if older than you Changsun was a child, but there was the sound of someone clearing his throat and both of you turned to see Yoongi coming in.
-Changsun hyung, you are a guest in here I'll wash the dishes-
You stared at him, Yoongi looked pretty serious even with that polite face he tried to keep.
-Really? Is no problem for me-
-I insist- Yoongi pushed with a forzed smile.
You licked your lips and looked at your brother. -Go freshen up, Yoongi is right you are the guest-
Changsun nodded patting your head and pinching your cheeks smiling lovingly. -I have such a cute sister-
-Go already!- you pushed him and he went out, Yoongi went closer kissing your cheeks and them your mouth for a long while leaving you dashed before going to do the dishes. What on earth was that?
It all went down when the sleeping arrangements were settled.
Yoongi was quiet and just glaring without sending Changsun to shit due to respect that he was your brother and also older than him. But honestly you were also baffled.
-What? Oppa we are in the 21st century I can sleep with whoever I want-
Your brother had his arms crossed and wasn’t giving in. -No Y/N-
-You are in my house, and by the way I always sleep with Yoongi, so this doesn’t make sense-
-I'm just saying tonight you can’t, I can’t allow my little sister to sleep with a guy when I'm around-
You groaned. -Oppa I'm not a child anymore-
Changsun didn’t take a no for an answer, you wanted to fight back your rights but then you had a long time without seeing him, it wasn’t like it would kill you to sleep a night or two away from Yoongi. But there was the issue that in your small apartment there was only your bed and the couch in the living room.
You turned to look at your boyfriend with pleading eyes, the outrage filling his own. Changsun left you alone and you hugged him tightly.
-No- he denied.
-Please-
-Let’s send him to a hotel, I’ll pay everything-
-He’s my brother Yoongi, I’m guessing he wants to spend time with me, just this time, alright?
Yoongi groaned staring at you with a grouchy face.
-Please babe, please please please- you begged as you hugged him  with your head buried on his neck and then you looked up kissing him a few times before you spoke again. -He's my brother and I almost never see him, I don’t want to upset him-
-No we wouldn’t want that- he spat and you held him tighter.
-Only this time, alright Yoongi? Please- He sighed barely nodding making you hold to his neck to kiss him again. -I love you-
Yoongi had proved that sleeping on the couch was shit, or maybe he felt like that because he was salty to have to sleep there to begin with, and to deepen his annoyance you woke up merrier than ever, he had to remind himself this man who had just slept in the same bed as you was your brother. But the initial feeling of yesterday still lingered on him, Yoongi just couldn't get used to seeing you being so close, friendly and just loving with anyone that wasn't himself.
-Y/N- Changsun laughed when you three were having breakfast that Yoongi initially wanted to make but that he ruined and Changsun ended up fixing, which of course got him even more bitter. -I think your boyfriend is giving me the evil eye- he whispered but Yoongi could still heard him clearly, was he doing this on purpose?
You disregarded that comment with a shake of your hand and a little laugh. -Of course not, he gives the evil eye to everyone-
Yoongi didn't bother into retorting anything because it was true and second because he wanted to annoy you a little. You threw him a kiss while your brother wasn't looking and Yoongi smirked with smugness.
-So Y/N, I'll take a shower and then we can go-
Yoongi gave you a look to which you smiled apologetically. He waited for Changsun to go and then he spoke. -So you are going out-
You nodded. -He wants me to show him the market and a few places...-
-Just the two of you?-
You nodded again. -I'm sorry baby, I really wish you could come but this is kind of a brother and sister thing, besides I know how busy you are-
Yoongi hummed finishing his coffee. -ok-
You stood and went to him leaning down to hug him from behind. -Don't be grumpy about it-
-I'm not, he's your brother it's alright-
You didnt believe that, you didnt know exactly the reason but Yoongi seemed to be extra harsh towards your brother. -If you want to come then just come, I'll talk to oppa-  you kissed his ear but Yoongi didnt react much.
-I'll be busy, see you later-
Now it was evident Yoongi was angry, people said he was very cold and unexpressive but to you Yoongi was very evident. He seemed jealous, every time your brother hugged you or when you were teasing each other about past things, you could feel Yoongi's gaze on you, burning. You went to the city with your brother and came back at late after noon, he would be leaving by the the morning so technically everything was about to end.
You thought Yoongi was being childish and so was Changsun with the bed thing and being extra playful to taunt Yoongi but then you didn't know exactly how to handle both of them, at the same time.
By the morning Yoongi was awake first than any one, he prepared coffee for everyone and even offered to take Changsun to Incheon himself.
-Wouldn't want me to miss that flight no Yoongi?- he patted his back to which Yoongi shrugged not even bothering to deny it.
Changsun had hired a cab that would take him to the airport so after the coffee it was time for goodbyes.
-I'll miss you Y/N, come visit more often- you nodded in the hug, smiling at him.
-I'll try-
-Yoongi- your brother walked to be in front of your boyfriend and you took close attention to their interaction. He extended his hand, Yoongi looked down at it and after a few seconds in which you were afraid, but he extended his hand too. Changsun smiled but this time he wasn’t playful but grateful which took Yoongi by surprise. -Thank you for taking care of Y/N, we started with the wrong foot but next time it'd be better, we will go out for beers without her-
-Hey!- you nagged making Changsun laugh and Yoongi give a bit of a grin.
-I hope I see you both soon-
-You will, thank you- Yoongi bowed and you smiled because they had somewhat come down to terms.
After Changsun left Yoongi avoided your gaze for a moment, you hugged and kissed his neck.
-I'm sorry- he said surprising you a litltle. -I really find it hard to see you with other men, even if it’s your brother, it’s a bit disturbing-
You giggled. -Nothing to worry about babe-
Yoongi nodded. -But really this is the last time of you sleeping with anyone that isn’t me, understand? Can’t stand that-
-Even if it’s my mom?-
-Even if it’s your granny- he confirmed and you laughed loudly.
This was a request you were eager to comply. -Alright, only you then, just you- Yoongi nodded satisfied and kissed you to seal the deal.

Evgeni Malkin #1 - English
Anon asked: Hey, I saw that your requests were open and I was wondering if you could do a Evgeni Malkin where he's nervous talk to you because he doesn't speak English that well.
This prompt really got away from me and ended up being the longest one I’ve written. I am wearing a Malkin t-shirt jersey as I type this and I promise that it was a coincidence. I love him way more than I probably should. I took the liberty of adding in Bryan Rust as a character to work out some plot holes so I hope that is okay! I hope you enjoy reading this an much as I enjoyed writing this!
You loved working in a bakery especially one you owned but sometimes being your own boss was tough. You were usually the first one in and that last one out but today you finally pawned off the late shift to someone else and left early. You felt guilty of course, it was your bakery so it almost felt like cheating when someone else did the work. If it hadn’t been for the insistent nagging of your younger brother to come support him at work you wouldn’t have left. You were the older sister to Bryan Rust a winger for the Pittsburgh Penguins and thorn in your side. They made it through to the second round of the playoffs as you expected but you would never let him know that. Each player was allotted a certain number of tickets per game and you insisted that it was only right that your parents and your other brother Matt got to go. You made excuses about being busy at work which were half true and finally he had enough. Bryan, armed with a jersey and threat to call your mother showed up during your lunch break to directly ask you to come to their game.
“Bryan you know I can’t leave when there is so much to get done!”
He pulled his best wounded look, “it’s like you don’t care about me or something.”
“You know that isn’t true.”
“Prove it to me,” he crossed his arms, “come to the game tonight and as proof of attendance you have to meet me after in the locker room.”
You looked down at the stack of order forms on your desk, “fine. Yeah I’ll be there.”
He smiled at you brightly and pushed the jersey and ticket in your direction before running off for his pre-game nap.
This is why you found yourself waiting with the other family members outside of the locker room after a 3-2 win over the Capitals instead of at home asleep. When the media finished up and finally left, the family members filed in flocking to their respective players. You picked your way through the masses and made your way over to your brother who was in the middle of a conversation with alternate captain Evgeni Malkin and object of your affections. He perked up at the sight of you and eagerly waved you over. Evgeni turned to see what Bryan was waving at and when he made eye contact with you he quickly looked elsewhere. Bryan slung a sweaty arm around your shoulder and you made no attempt to shake him off. They had just won and you couldn’t ruin his excitement.
“Geno this is my big sister! Sis, this is Geno.”
You held your hand out for Geno to shake, “Hi. It’s so nice to meet you. You played great.”
He shook your hand tentatively and nodded in thanks.
Bryan punched Evgeni in the shoulder, “c’mon dude don’t be shy. She isn’t totally awful.”
Before you could object to his comment Bryan was waved over by Marc-André to weigh in on the conversation he was having with Kris Letang. This left you alone with Geno who was decisively looking anywhere but at you.
The silence was tense so you attempted to joke, “what do I have something on my face?”
Evgeni was startled by the sudden comment and quickly shook his head as an answer.
You tried again, “so how awful is my brother? Be honest, I promise I won’t tell him.”
“He not bad. Work hard,” Evgeni answered honestly.
“Really?” you teased, “there has got to be something.”
“No.”
You nodded at the curt answer and tapped your fingers awkwardly on your thigh. You searched the room for your brother who had somehow disappeared.
You looked back at Evgeni, “I think I’m going to wait for Bryan outside. If he asks will you let him know?”
Evgeni nodded and turned away which you took as a sign of dismissal. It was unfortunate really. You’d found him to be quite attractive for a while now but for some reason he just didn’t seem to want to interact with you. You hoped you hadn’t accidentally offended him when you asked about dirt on your brother. In your mind it was harmless teasing but maybe it meant more to him. You worked to push the thought out of your mind as you read through some texts. The group chat between your parents and brothers was particularly active so you scrolled through the messages. It started with your parents wishing Bryan luck and them commenting on the photos you sent of the game. Nothing interesting enough to warrant dozens of texts. The further you scrolled down made the sudden influx of messages make sense. Bryan had unknowingly taken a picture of you talking to Evgeni and captioned it “Remember to thank me in the wedding speech.”
Your mother responded with a series of coos to which Matt and your dad responded with vague threats defending your honor. You quickly went to set the record straight.
“He barely said five words to me!”
Bryan was quick to respond, “he is a man of few words.”
“Bryan where are you? I am waiting outside, let’s go,” you attempted to steer the conversation away from your failing love life.
Minutes later Bryan appeared freshly showered and changed.
He stopped in front of you, “some of the guys are going out for drinks. Want to come?”
“I have to be up early in the morning to open the bakery.”
“Nope,” he popped the p, “I had Kelsey find someone to cover your shift. Like four different people were willing to do it. They all think you work too hard.”
“Bryan I can’t have other people doing my work! It isn’t fair to them.”
He fixed you with a look, “really? I know how much time you give them off. You have more than made up for any extra work they might do.”
You knew he wouldn’t give up. It was his worst quality, “who all is going to be there?”
“Flower, Hags, Kuni, and Tanger for sure. I think Geno and a couple others as well,” he counted them off on his fingers.
“Are any other non-hockey players going? Won’t it be weird if I’m the only one?”
“I’m sure some others will be there. You don’t have to come if you don’t want to, I won’t make you. It’s just I barely get to see you anymore.”
You sighed, “I just don’t think it’s a good idea. I mean Geno can barely stand the sight of me and this is his team’s celebration.”
Bryan gave you a confused look, “wait what are you talking about? Geno definitely doesn’t hate the sight of you. Kind of the opposite.”
“He wouldn’t look at me and gave me short, clipped answers.”
“You probably just made him nervous.”
Now you were confused, “why would I make him nervous?”
“Okay he would kill me if he found out I was the reason you knew but he kind of has a thing for you. I don’t know why, you’re gross.”
It took a second for you to process the words, “Is that why you left us alone randomly?”
Bryan nodded sheepishly, “I thought he would finally work up the courage to talk to you. There is only so much a guy can hear about his sister.”
You punched him in the shoulder, “dude what the hell? Is that the real reason you wanted me at this game?”
“No. Okay maybe it was part of the reason but you are my sister and you haven’t come out to a game in months.”
“This still doesn’t change the fact he barely talked to me. Look I don’t want to make things weird tonight. I’m going home, I hope you have fun.”
With that you spun on your heel and walked through the now empty arena. While you didn’t have to open the shop, as a force of habit you knew your body would wake you up anyway. Might as well get some sleep.
In the morning as predicted you woke up at your normal time and as much as your eyes burned from exhaustion you couldn’t fall back asleep. This did allow you more time to get ready and you were able to eat breakfast instead of just scarfing down a piece of toast and coffee. You left for the bakery before you were scheduled to go in but still later than if you were opening. When you got there it was empty save for a few customers scattered around and Brad behind the counter. You tried to walk through the swinging door that led you into the kitchen but Brad’s body blocked it from opening. You opened your mouth to protest and he jerked his head towards a lone figure in the corner. It was Evgeni.
“He’s been here since just after opening. Please go fix whatever happened. I can’t have mopey boyfriends hanging around.”
“He isn’t my boyfriend,” you tried to explain.
Brad raised an eyebrow, “well then you better let him know that. He seemed particularly upset when he walked in and you weren’t here.”
“He works with my brother. I’ll go see what he wants.”
You attempted to ignore the giddy feeling in your stomach as you walked over to the corner table. Evgeni looked up at your footsteps like a deer caught in the headlights. You pulled the chair out across from him and waited expectantly for him to speak.
When he opened his mouth but no words came out you took pity, “what are you doing here?”
He audibly gulped, “I’m come see you.”
“Yeah I got that; but why? In our last interaction it seemed like you literally could not stand the sight of me.”
He shook his head quickly, “no not mean that!”
You quirked an eyebrow and waited for him to further explain.
“I’m plan to talk to you. I’m practice how to ask you out. When I’m see you I’m get nervous. English not so good.”
“Was that it? You were afraid to talk to me because you don’t think your English is that good?”
He nodded.
“Oh Geno,” you reached for his hand that was sitting on the table, “considering English isn’t your first language I’d say you’re doing a great job.”
He blushed and ducked his head, “Rusty say I’m dumb. Say you great girl and I’m make you feel bad. I’m not mean to.”
“I know you didn’t mean to. I was being too sensitive I think. Bryan knew about my crush on you so I felt a little betrayed when he left me to fend for myself.”
That got him to look at you, “you like me?”
“For a while now,” you admitted, “Bryan wouldn’t stop talking about you and I had to see what all the fuss was about.”
His face lit up with a grin, “we go out?”
“Whoa there Geno slow down,” you laughed.
This caused the grin to fall slightly, “oh. I’m sorry. I’m not mean to…” he trailed off.
“No I just mean let’s take this slow. I want to get to know you better. We can maybe exchange numbers?”
He nodded eagerly, “English better on phone. Good practice.”
You two exchanged numbers and talked until Brad came over and tapped your shoulder letting you know your shift had started fifteen minutes ago. You scrambled out of your seat and Geno followed suit.
“I’ll text you,” you told him.
“I’m answer this time.”
“You better,” in a spur of the moment decision you reached up on your tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
The bright grin from earlier returned on his face and he left the bakery still smiling. Not even three minutes after his departure did you feel your phone buzz with a message.
“I’m give you Malkin jersey. Much better than Rusty.”
“Oh is it now?” you texted back.
“Da. I’m best.”
You felt yourself smile and glared at Brad when he began laughing.
“You better shut it. I’m in charge of your paycheck.”
Brad held his hands up in surrender and mimed zipping his lips. If the following interactions were anything like today, you could see this relationship going very far.
