Working on a limited palette is not limited to paints, you can also use it in sketching with pens. This is Tokyo Finds Doodle Pen set (Yellow, Orange, Magenta, Red, Blue). I have used these pens on several sketchbooks and papers. I decided to give it another go on my latest sketchbook. These are waterbased markers but I decided to do the layering and drawing techniques without using a brush. I love how the sketchbook handled the ink of these markers and they didn't bleed on the other side. The markers comes with a fineliner tip and a brush tip. There is a slight color shift on the ink that comes from both tips, but it's ok. What are your usual subjects when you sketch? Do you have a personal favorite color palette? Another product from @shoptokyofinds which is the Pixie Inks!! It is a calligraphy Ink with a gold sparkle... It's really nice to write on a white paper, preferably a watercolor paper (it bleeds when you write it on a normal paper) for this instance, I used @strathmoreart Visual Journal. By the way, they just released their new Pixie Colors!! Check it out on their Instagram page!! . . . I was inspired by Miss @sheils_torralba Hand lettering hahaha. This is a sample of Diamine Pink Champagne that I got from @eleaalmazora the last time we met. It's a lovely pink but I need to do a second pass to make it more readable when used with the @shoptokyofinds Tori brush pen. The glitter is not as obvious. I think most of the shimmer gets stuck in the bristles. No idea if there's a way to make the ink flow so that more of the shimmer will be put to paper instead of stuck in the bristles. It's still a pretty ink anyhow. Well, there’s a word for that: ineffability. Derived from the Latin ineffabilis, meaning “unutterable,” from in-”not” and effari “utter,” ineffable is defined as an “inability to describe in words” or “too sacred to be uttered.” Perhaps it’s an overwhelming feeling of love, a work of art, something online, or something we can’t even imagine. We’ve all found ourselves wrapped in voiceless bewilderment, unable to find the words to properly express that inexpressible something. This is my trial of the Doodle Pens set by @shoptokyofinds I like the color assortment of this set. It's a waterbased ink with two tips (fine tip and brish tip). I tried to make a swatch of the set on the side and experiemented on some lines and strokes that I usually do in my drawings.
