Hi hi Eri! Hope your week was great!!!
Ohhh that sounds lovely, you're gonna spend time with your family!!! Even if you have to work I hope you'll enjoy it a lot 🥰
Ahhh you're so similar to my best friend about that! Even if she likes a lot something, she always will notice every single thing which sounds wrong to the serie!
Yehhhh i really have to remember a lot about bleach! I surprised myself to not remember names of (majors) characters 🤣 But I think i can enjoy the current season, at least if I find somewhere to watch it! i just need to don't remember how disappointed i was when i read this part of bleach years and years ago lmao
Ahhhh you're so strong, really, I can't stay anime only for too long, i'm quickly so frustrated! You can't even imagine how much I'm trying to not read blue lock. I wanted to read it before they have announced an anime and I've been caught up by time and finally not reading it (for now!) I highly recommend you to watch blue lock if you still haven't!!! 🫣 I seriously dont know how did I resist to not read Kaguya until now lmao
Ahhh tokrev tweets pissed me off an incredible amount of time! I tried to ignore a majority of them but you couldn't scroll without seeing something offensive said against it 😵‍💫 Well, not sure about editor's issues for Wakui but it wouldn't surprise me 😪 It made me very sad for Kubo when I heard that, and it was the same for Shokugeki no Soma. I really loved to follow it weekly tho. Did you read/watch it already?
Dhsqlfjzla maybe one day you'll get that push for one piece, and you'll find the ship you'd living for!!! 👀👀👀 Anyway i love your ship combination, deuteragonist + best girl is working so well!!!
I've almost finished your gift and ahhhhhhh i'm so excited , i tried something slightly different of what i'm used to do as an edit and i'm proud of the result even if it's not 100% finished! Hope you'll like it ❤️
See you soon for the reveal 👀👀👀
- Your animanga secret santa 🎄
hi santaaaa 🥰🥰🥰
yes totally chilling at home, hope you’re having a wonderful holiday time too!
probably just cuz i like whining while i’m at it pointing out the flaws lmfaooo also the new bleach animation could be your cup of tea, it is indeed animated well unfortunately.
it must really depend on the show and the random bout with whether you shall dive into the manga. most certainly you won’t stop once you open a chapter 🤣
a lot of the tweets are just dumb and clout chasing stuff like yeah sure you do you twitter folks unfortunate that editor issues really happen and can make or break a good manga run. i was interested before to at least try to watch it, you know for the food, but i also heard that it’s very fanservice-y so idk i just put it off since i wasn’t in the mood for that then and forgot it altogether 😅
at the right time for sure!! 💖💖 ahhh omg that makes me so excited!! i’m sure i’ll love whatever it is, and wow thanks for even trying out different stuff for this hmmm makes me curious too!!
i enjoyed our exchanges so much! i’ll see you soon~ merry christmas my santa! 🥳

You and I, a takumegu story
joy is meant to be fleeting. and yet.
Morning
“Takumi-kun,” Megumi yawned as she approached him bearing onigiri and a stainless steel HydroFlask filled to the brim with piping hot jujube tea.
The Italian greeted her with a steaming mug of coffee from his espresso machine in his kitchenette. “I wish I could say good morning, but I’m rather averse to the notion at this point.”
Megumi laughed. It was nearing 5 AM in Tokyo, and they’d been in Takumi’s office at Legislation with a veritable cityscape of the first and second seats’ paperwork organized by importance for the last ten hours. It was tragic that they had agreed to finish all their work a night early so they could enjoy each other’s presence, but this quality time had been relegated to the stupid office.
“Shall we continue?” Megumi asked, her words lacking any and all traces of conviction.
Takumi heaved a sigh. “I’ve signed so many documents today I can’t tell if I’m writing in Japanese or Italian.”
“To be honest, I’ve probably not even been signing my own name,” she mused. Then she blanched. “O-oh no! W-what if I sent t-the—”
“Relax, Tadokoro-san,” Takumi said, sensing an impending panic attack. “I’m sure Arato-san reviewed the documents before we sent them to New York.”
“I was the one reviewing them!”
Takumi put his hand over hers and gave it a reassuring squeeze. His eyes widened slightly as he realized what he was doing, but he brushed the feeling aside. “It’ll be alright, Tadokoro-san. It won’t matter too much.”
It looked for a second as if she were about to implode, but then she sighed, “I don’t have enough energy to hyperventilate.”
“I understood that on so many different levels.” Takumi took one of the onigiri and felt rejuvenated with the first bite, reveling in the warmth of the honey dressed pork. “This is a masterpiece,” he told her. “I feel better than I’ve been the rest of the month collectively.”
She smiled, a faint blush rising to her cheeks. “I’m glad you think so.”
Takumi’s eyebrows drew together. “Tadokoro-san, now that we’re both functional, do you want to visit the noodle festival in Dotonbori?”
She dropped her onigiri. “T-that’s in Osaka, Takumi-kun.”
“Well, Nakiri Alice told me we’re free to take the jet whenever we want as long as it’s not in use.” Takumi lifted his hand. Dangling from his fingers was a lanyard with a small gold key. “Shall we?”
“It’s five in the morning…” But they both knew she was already more than convinced.
When they landed in Osaka, the festival was already underway.
The sun was slipping past the horizon by the time they realized they’d been gone the entire day and probably caused pandemonium at Legislation — tragic, how they were the sole pillar keeping the Elite Ten from falling to pieces — but neither seemed to mind.
They were sitting on a bench, watching the passersby, content with all the noodles they’d consumed.
Takumi furrowed his brows. “Tadokoro-san?”
“Yes, Takumi-kun.”
“How would you feel if we called this a date?”
Megumi’s eyes widened. “E-ehh?”
Takumi’s face turned red as he attempted to contrive a respectable excuse, but his panic was cut short when Megumi took hold of his hand with an uncharacteristically calm air.
“I would love that, Takumi-kun,” she smiled, and with one look, Takumi figured that not even the urban atmosphere around them could compare to the cosmopolitan vibrancy in her gold eyes.
Sunset
There has always been some vague concept of balance. Everything comes with a counterpart; there is no exception to this, and there never will be. It is a universal truth, as constant as the laws of motion, as flexible as time. Balance is often unseen, and yet it is there. Joy is countered with anguish, laughter with tears; neither can exist without the other.
And yet, every time Takumi Aldini’s electric blue eyes fell upon that sweet cinnamon roll of a girl — one hell of a chef when she was provoked, though — he realized that no law was absolute, because he had never experienced anything but exhilaration when he was with her.
Love was fleeting; that was another supposed aphorism he’d learned from the wise.
But loving Tadokoro Megumi was something he could do once, twice, twice eternity.
“It says in Nakiri-san’s memo that we’re supposed to be providing a lunch service for the jury of the Bocuse d’Or,” Megumi frowned, reading the post-it note stuck on the inside cover of the manila folder Alice had provided for this particular task.
Takumi finished off his espresso. They were watching the sunset in Vienna, drinking Melange and sharing a slice of Sachertorte with the sun descending beyond the Wiener Musikverein in the gentle Saturday backdrop. “For a second there I was going to ask you which Nakiri you’re talking about. Isn’t the Bocuse d’Or in France?”
“Lyon,” Megumi confirmed. “I’m betting Nakiri-san sent us here on purpose. Bocuse d’Or won’t even happen this year. Ah, look. She left us a note on the back of the post-it.” Megumi cleared her throat before reading, “Happy one year, lovebirds. You have twelve hours before Erina goes berserk and calls NATO to send troops to find you guys, so enjoy them. Call me when you want the jet to come pick you up from VIE.”
“Well, Tadokoro-san, I guess we can relax for the rest of the task period. Happy one year, by the way.”
Megumi gave him a bright smile and replied, “Happy one year, Takumi-kun.”
The sky was soft, an endless canvas streaked with muted shades of orange and pink, everything blending into a gorgeous view highlighted by the spectacular architecture — and yet Takumi couldn’t seem to register anything other than the remarkable girl blushing nervously across from him.
To think it had been a whole year. It was too good to be true. This was the type of love most men searched for their entire lives without once catching a glimpse of; this was the type of love in fantasy, romance novels — everything an illusion. And yet this was real, as real as the warmth of her heart beating against his when she pressed her nose to his neck.
Takumi knew even he, with all his virtues, didn’t deserve her. But maybe she’d be willing to take him along for the ride; wherever Tadokoro Megumi went, he would follow.
It was just then that Takumi’s phone rang, snapping both out of their shared reverie.
The Italian sighed as he read the caller ID: Nakiri Erina.
“Do I pick this up?” he mused aloud, but he already had his answer.
“Y-you have to, Takumi-kun! She’s the first seat!”
“What do you say we don’t go back to school?” Takumi said, turning his phone on silent and flipping it face down.
Megumi gave him a horrified look. “You just ghosted Nakiri Erina!”
“I mean, she’s probably too busy dealing with Yukihira’s chaos to care, right?”
“Chaos is a severe understatement,” Megumi admitted. “B-but what if she kicks us off the council?”
Takumi grinned. “It’ll be alright, Tadokoro-san. We have a whole week to ourselves.”
With a sigh, Megumi relented. “So… we’re in Vienna.”
“Right.”
“There’s this restaurant I really want to try… but there’s another place down the street that Ryo-kun said had really good rainbow trout. And while we’re in Europe… have you been to Budapest?”
Takumi clapped his hands together. “Say less. We’re taking a sabbatical for the rest of the month.”
Megumi gave a nervous chuckle. “For research purposes, right? Otherwise Nakiri-san is going to kick us over the Pacific Ocean when we get back.”
At this, Takumi burst out laughing. He managed to choke out, “You are truly one in a million, Tadokoro-san.”
And he meant it.
Dawn
To say Takumi Aldini was known for his elegant calisthenics would be a stretch, but when that chaotically graceful blessing was around him, swinging up onto the rooftop of the trattoria with a picnic basket perched precariously on his fingertips was most definitely not a problem.
Megumi was waiting for him with a fleece blanket around her shoulders and a gentle smile that warmed her gold eyes brighter than the Italian sunrise. “Hi, honey,” she said sweetly, as if she hadn’t prodded him awake ten minutes ago and told him to bring breakfast up to the roof in five. He’d never be able to catch up to her hopping hare speed, but he figured he’d gotten the basics of Tadokoro Time down. To be early was to be on time and to be on time was to be late. Considering he was five minutes past the downbeat, his girlfriend had probably been waiting for him since before the dinosaurs.
“Good morning, amore,” he replied as he sat beside her and opened the basket. Takumi produced a loaf of brioche and began cutting with expert precision, trying to keep his pulse steady as he felt her eyes on him. The small velvet box in his pocket was doing nothing to help this endeavor.
Megumi regarded the two identical 1.8-centimeter slices in awe before thanking him and lifting the first bite to her lips.
“This is delicious,” she said once the tranquil hum of the autumn pond had faded to the back of her mind. “The rosemary completes the ensemble really well.” He was truly amazing; they’d been cooking love confessions for each other for the last seven years and he could still make her heart skip beats. His love was unconditional, more pastel than anything.
“Grazie, amore,” he said. “It means the world coming from you.”
“I’m only telling you the truth,” she blushed. “If I have to, I’ll say it every day to make sure you know that.”
It was now or never.
“Listen, Megumi. There’s something you need to know.”
She gazed up at him curiously over her brioche.
Takumi took a deep breath. To hell with the speech he’d parsed out in his head last night — that kind of thing never worked anyhow.
Loving Tadokoro Megumi was about elements and worlds that weren’t in their dimension or maybe even in their universe; it was something beyond time and space that his mind couldn’t process, much less put into words, but maybe this dawn would help transmit this, somehow.
But it was highly probable that Takumi had been ready for this simple statement since the moment he first laid eyes on her. A night’s worth of drafting could not possibly hope to serve justice to everything he needed to say. It was the pinnacle of all his emotions that would do more than enough, right here, right now.
“If I said I knew exactly when I fell in love with you, I’d be lying, but if anyone asks I’ll tell them I love you now, and that is all that matters. Tadokoro Megumi, you are the most insanely talented, beautiful girl I have ever known, and I am the luckiest man in the world to stand by your side, so thank you for that. I know I’m far from perfect; I have my flaws, and you have yours, but you need to know that every little part of you is absolutely everything to me, and nothing in this universe could ever change that. With your hand in mine we will turn this wasteland into paradise. You and I, no… us. I promise that I will always be with you. Forever is finite. But my love for you is beyond that.”
At this point, Megumi closely resembled something similar to a red train — Takumi swore he could see the smoke venting from her ears — but he’d waded too far in to step back out.
“I have one question for you.” Takumi got down on one knee, reached into his pocket, and pulled out the Verragio box. The ring was elegant to the point where it possessed an ethereal quality. Diamonds seamlessly fused with rose gold on a platinum band; it was definitely flashier than anything either had ever dreamt of before, much less purchased, and yet it was heartfelt and deliberate. And, perhaps most importantly, it spoke volumes — more words and confessions captured within the metal than Takumi could ever express.
It was a promise of the unbridled love he had for her, the promise of a sterling future he wanted to build with her.
“It is a privilege and an honor to love you. Will you make me not only the luckiest, but also the happiest man in the world and marry me?”
She nodded, doing her utmost to fight back the tears. And as dawn broke in the sky above them, the girl that brought onigiri to his office at five in the morning, the girl that laughed at him over hiyamugi and squeaked whenever he wrapped his arms around her, the beautiful girl that always made him wonder what he had done to deserve her, said two words, and that was enough.
“I will.”

Shokugeki no Soma - Christmas Prompt list
This year, I took part in a Shokugeki no Som Secret Santa event but the organizer also added a Christmas Prompt List for 12 days challenge as well.
Due to lack of time, I wasn't able to draw all the 12 of them but made a few.
The first one on the 14th of December was the Snowglobe with favourite character and, well...
Tumblr media
... as you can see, I wasn't able to choose from the Aldini twins so I drew the two of them in a globe. ❄️🎄
I am glad that I was able to draw them together 🥺

This was my gift for @scissorman for the SNS secret santa! I had turned it in earlier because my Christmas is a day behind and I wasn’t sure if I was going to post it yesterday. (I didn’t). But yeah, again I love writing Soma and was happy to write this! I hope you enjoy it, Saffa!

To Nakiri Erina, having Yukihira Soma walked into her office right after an important board video conference was nothing new-- well, without Hisako guiding the door, he would have just barged in like an intruder he is.
“Yo! Whatcha up to, Nakiri?”
“Not expecting you since you didn’t fill in my appointment sheet, obviously.” Erina shut off her laptop. “Do you need anything, Yukihira-kun?”
“What’re ya on about? Everyone’s waiting.”
“Waiting for what?”
Soma lifted an eyebrow in disbelief, “Uh… Elite Ten lunch meeting?”
Crap. Should’ve checked her schedule at the start of the day.  “Oh, r-right. Give me a moment to get my things.”
Amid the franticness of her trying to find the Elite Ten papers below a pile of documents, he shot her a question she’d never thought his stupidly dense self would ask.
“Hey uh, are those red roses over there from that Professor Suzuki?”
When he pointed to a large glass vase on her desk, Erina nods, “It is.”
“What about that one on the corner?” The redhead referred to a bigger transparent one next to the door.
“He gave it to me as well.”
“Also those lilies by the window?”
“Yes.”
“So… basically, the flowers in this room are all from that guy?”
Erina paused for a second. “I’ve never really thought about that, but it appears like so.”
“Wow.” He seemed taken aback by said fact. “So uh… you like him or somethin’? Yknow, because of this?”
“G-Geez, what is this, Yukihira-kun? 20 questions?” She reflectively avoided eye contact at the question. “I just think he’s nice. Nothing more beneath that.”
“Just nice, eh?” He chuckled, almost scoffing, “Well if it was me giving ya all these flowers, you’d pretty much be thinking a lot more of me, don’t ya?”
“Hmpf, wouldn’t you like to know.” Erina slapped his delusional self with her file as she passed him by, “Let’s just go. You are wasting my time already.”
She wasn't sure what he was saying after that, but it was only given since they were rushing to the lunch meeting two buildings away, which drained her even more than the board meeting-- it turned out that there were so much more to evaluate and prepare before the next Moon Festival.
Should’ve listened to herself back then before she decided to take the director position: Don’t do it. It’s not going to be an easy ride.
It might be caused by the display of her restless face, but when Soma asked her if she’d want him to walk her back to the office, she didn’t say no.
He matched her steady pace as they were walking through one of the greenhouses at Totsuki where middle schoolers grew a wide range of plants and flowers for home economics. Quite empty in an afternoon like this that they were all back in their classes.
She thought she heard Soma talking about a new cooking method he’d learned from some idiot on the internet along the way, but when her mind was left in the meeting room, it just seemed like another voice in her head.
“Uh… Nakiri?” She felt a hand on her shoulder, and it snapped her out of her endless thoughts.
“What?”
He chuckled at her absent-minded reply, “You alright over there?”
“O-Of course I am! The director of this academy has to be prepared at all times. What makes you think I am anything but alright?”
“Sure, sure.” He said.
They took a few more steps just glancing around the flower sections of the greenhouse in silence.
“Y’know,” Soma spoke again, “If I were your boyfriend, I could offer you a hug when you’re all stressed out like this.”
At this point, she rolled her eyes, “Would you stop? I thought we’ve dropped this conversation already.”
“I know. Just wanna point out that you’re the worst liar I’ve ever known. And you can’t clap back because this first seat ain’t the worst cook you’ve ever known.”
Okay, he might be kind of right about that. So of course in response to that, all she could do was to avoid his golden eyes.
“Aight, I can do somethin’ to cheer you up.” Soma offered.
“And that is by?”
“Music: A world so far away from cooking, yet closer than you think.”
As Soma plugged his earphones in, she complained, “Music never cheers me up, Yukihira-kun.”
“It’s ‘cause you don’t sing along. Trust me.”
When he stopped his track in front of her and placed a bud on her left ear, a song she couldn’t identify already played.
“Look, I don’t even know who sings this.” Erina raised a hand in confusion.
“It’s Do I Wanna Know by Arctic Monkeys.” He told her.
“Huh?”
“Just sing it! Do I wanna know~ if this feeling flows both ways~”
Seriously, this guy had never ceased to baffle her. “Yukihira, I just found out about this song. How would I know the lyrics?”
“You’re thinkin’ way too much. Just bob your head along with the beat, would ya?”
So with Soma walking backward to face her, she started mirroring his subtle head bobs-- not that she was less puzzled, by the way. Especially with the hilariously thick Japanese accent covering his pitchy voice.
But… it was strange how the movement of her head that matched the beat of the song got her to feel a newfound satisfaction feeling within her. It was as if she controlled how the music flow. It was addicting. And she didn’t want to stop.
“That’s right. Enjoy the beat.” He said and started air-drumming. “It gets better if you close your eyes.”
So she did for a few seconds, just to let her body levitate with the music. Occasionally feeling Soma’s index finger drumstick on her shoulder that triggered it to subtly dance along. Her head bob was getting more pronounced, and she hated to admit it, but she enjoyed this way more than she should.
The great Nakiri Erina, before this greenhouse fiesta, was someone who thought music was just a classical backsound in gala dinners or other glamorous events she had attended. She liked them, but it was never the main attraction in her life for entertainment purpose.
And now that her eyes were opened, in front of her was a boy. Who was smiling cheekily, but it was almost like he didn’t realize he’d managed to break open another wall to a bigger world for her to see and embrace.
Really-- where had he been all her life?
“Bet you wanna sing now, eh?”
The chorus that came after Soma’s assumption was enough to make her timidly sing the catchier lyric along with him. Of course, he’d sung as if he’d never sing again, and of course, she had to reflectively laugh at that.
And he stopped right when Erina was trying to contain her giggle.
And what stunned her was the look he gave her.
“W-What?” She asked plainly.
“Nah, it’s just--” He paused, “I don’t think I’d ever get used to seeing you all… laughing and smiling like this.”
Oh no, her cheek better not get any color. “Wh-What do you mean?”
“I mean y’know, you’re always so serious, grumpy, and all business every time.” Now, Soma was scratching his head. “But I feel like when you’re smiling, it’s almost like I…”
If it was up to her uptight self, she would really like to make a comment on the grumpy thing (she was most definitely not a dwarf, thank you very much), though it was impossible when he stopped his track and offered her his perplexed features.
If only she had known what he was thinking, it’d have been easier. If only this song on his earphone would have stopped playing, maybe she would have been able to figure why he fidgeted the inside of his lip while occasionally throwing his glance to his tiptoe.
Or the very least, she could’ve figured out why her heart was racing like a freight train in this very moment, but she was sure that her dilating pupils had something to do with him. Enclosing their distance.
But then he froze and said, “Y’know what? Doesn’t matter.”
She didn’t expect to have that sinking, unsatisfied feeling when he turned away, but Erina couldn’t really afford to have the thoughts linger on too long, so she tried to shrug the feeling off when they were walking side by side silently to the front of her office.
“Thank you for walking me back, Yukihira-kun,” Erina said. “I will see you on tomorrow’s meeting.”
“Wait, Nakiri.” He stopped her from opening her door. “Here.”
She couldn’t believe her eyes; Yukihira Soma was handing her a flower-- a white carnation.
“Eh?”
“Just accept it.”
If it was up to her haughty, hair-flipping, Totsuki director self, she would’ve told him that he wasn't supposed to pick anything from that greenhouse. Unfortunately, it was the reddened cheek, shoujo-geek version of herself that showed.
“B-But why?”
“No need to have reasons, eh?” Soma explained. “Just thought it kinda looks like you when you’re smiling.”
And she thought she was stunned before. This was another level-- warmed her heart, weakened her legs kind of stunned.
“Well, see ya tomorrow, then.”
It only clicked when Soma was leaving. She looked at the white bloomed flower smelled so heavenly and realized why she looked at him differently. Why it never felt like that with any other guys who’d been trying to woo her.
And why every time she thought of the future, she thought of him.
“Y- Yukihira-kun!”
His eyes immediately turned to her.
“T-Thank you.”
And with that smile fetched to her by the redhead, she knew those ten roses on her desk could easily be replaced with one single carnation.

HBO Max New Releases: November 2020
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
There are only two months left to go in this truly hellish year and relatively new streaming service HBO Max is trying to make the best of them. While most other streamers recover from Halloween and get prepared for Christmas, HBO Max is using November 2020 to fill out its servers.
Things are pretty light not the new original series front this month with only Industry (Nov. 9) and His Dark Materials season 2 (Nov. 16) making a splash. But the streamer has a couple of notable original films to complement them. Between the World and Me, based on the book by Ta-Nehisi Coates, arrives on Nov. 21 and Melissa McCarthy comedy Superintelligence arrives on Nov. 26. That’s not even to mention two intriguing projects that don’t have dates yet: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion Special and The Mystery of DB Cooper.
Thankfully, the real appeal in November 2020 is all the fresh library content making its way to HBO Max. Nov. 1 sees the arrival of The Dark Knight, The Hobbit Trilogy, all the Lego Movies, and even the first episode of Rick and Morty season 4 (with more presumably to follow). Those offerings will be augmented later on by the always-entertaining Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Nov. 7.
Here is everything else coming to HBO Max in November 2020.

Another one from the Shokugeki Christmas prompt list: hot cocoa with Polar Star characters in my case. I wanted to practice a little bit, so I have chosen Yuki and Ryoko to draw this time. I have never drawn them before but they are so sweet.🥺❄️
The bg is ..well, it was also a practice. When I have time, I love drawing a bit more complex bgs. I hope you find them satisfying 🥺
