Bro there's an Indian temple inside a cave deep in the mountains of kashmir called amarnath in which, every year, 3 shivlings (Shiva linga, is an abstract or aniconic representation of the Hindu god Shiva in Shaivism. It is typically the primary murti or devotional image in Hindu temples dedicated to Shiva, also found in smaller shrines, or as self-manifested natural objects.) made entirely out of ice formed by small drops of rainwater let in by tiny holes and cracks in the ceiling that are naturally placed at such an angle to give shape to the shivling. These shivlings start forming around april/may but it takes months for the government to clear the path and thus the tourism season starts in july, and the shivlings automatically melt a month or so after. Thousands of people travel and hike to worship this place. Isn't that cool? Indian temples rock!

Hello!
This is a bit controversial question Can you also post about when can we water shivling. I recently got scolded for watering shivling during evening as they told me that it's not water it becomes blood which you offer to shivling. And according to most puranas pradosh kaal and midnight is the best time which is all in the evening and night time. I actually want some solid proofs. If possible thank you!!
As far as I know from Shivpuran, there are methods mentioned for worship of Lord Shiva. It also states that you should construct shivling on your own and construction of shivling also depends on your varna. So there are specific upasa methods in Shiv Puran which you can refer.
You can water shivling at any time. There is no restriction mentioned in our Hindu ancient texts as far as I know or heard of. It's a total myth that it will turn into blood and you should ignore this totally.
The importance of pradosh kaal is also mentioned in our puranas. The most auspicious timings for the Worship of Siva Lingas are the days coinciding Surya Sankranti, 'Tula' and 'Mesha'Sankrantis, as also Lunar and Solar Eclipse days. In the normal course, Siva Linga Pujas are best performed during the 'Magha' month and on every Krishna Chaturdasi days. You can water shivling on these days especially. These days are mentioned in our ancient texts.
There is also one more important thing which I want to mention. Jaap is a very important thing in our Hinduism. You can do it any time. Shivpuran mentions shiv panchakshari can be chanted at any time during Kaliyug. Lord's name has enough potential to take you towards liberation. So you can chant 'om namah shivay' even when you are eating, laying on bed etc. Naam Jaap has no restriction. So if you can't water shivling at evening by any reason, taking his name with devotion will suffice. Repeat panchakshari as much as possible. My Jyotish Guru advised me to chant 'om namah shivay' at least one thousand times a day.
I might post on Shiv Upasana soon gathering some information from ancient texts and saints. Thanks for the suggestion.
Har har mahadev 🙏🙏

Why is Lord Shiva called Hara?
According to Indian mythology, There are three supreme gods
1. Brahma is the creator
2. Vishnu who protect the creation
3. Shiva who destroy the creations
So, Hara meaning is a Sanskrit word that means “ The destroyer” that's why lord shiva called Hara.
According to legends, once his wife sati went to her father Daksh’s yagya ceremony without invitation where she committed sucide due to humiliation of shiva’s name by her father.
Then shiva got furious and sent its incarnation veerbhadra to kill his father in law Daksh. Veerbhadra did mass destruction and killed Daksh .
So, shiva got his name Hara.
