June 9th. Happy Birthday Shiva 💖 I don't need to express how much this character means to me or how much I see myself in him. How I relate to him or how he makes me feel. Words will always fail to do justice to what Shiva is, to who he is to me-and many others I'm sure. But nevertheless Shiva want to take this moment to celebrate not just him but what he means to so many of us. I've heard first hand accounts of how this character, this fictional character has touched the lives of so many people, just as he has mine. And a huge part of that credit goes to @kanwardhillon_ and his beautiful portrayal of Shiva. Kanwar made Shiva real to us, made him tangible to us, made all his emotions, his struggles and his adversities real to us. It's not that hard to simply say that Shiva isn't real, but I know for sure that if he were, he'd be just as joyful, just as selfless and just as pure in the love and affection he gives and would give to each and every person he loves and cherishes. To all the people that connect with Shiva, Shiva would be grateful to have all of you. "PHENOMENAL KANWAR DHILLON" trending on Twitter with almost 30k tweets! This was entirely last minute and a genuine outpouring of love and appreciation for @kanwardhillon_ and his phenomenal performance today (& yesterday) We were completely blown away by how amazing KD was and all of us were equally devastated for all that Shiva is and has been going through. Something I find magical about this trend is that even people from other fandom's, those who don't usually watch the show and people who'd stopped watching the show for months watched Kanwar's performance in this much awaited Shiva's education track and decided to join us in the trend for appreciating KD. THAT'S the power that Kanwar holds. The power to move people through expression and through his craft. I am beyond amazed at how good KD is as Shiva. Shiva keeping a fast for Raavi, him protecting her once again, Shiva doing parikrama around his Ma, ShiVi being blessed by Lord Ganesh (in my interpretation)>>>>> Absolutely living for today's scenes 😭💖 The only thing I'm bitter about is that they didn't last longer!! 😕 I think the show really has potential with Shiva and Raavi's character especially if they mend the relationship between ShiVi and Suman. In a proper way. I really want to see Suman ki ladli Raavi and Suman ka ladla Shiva. There is so much potential here!! Raavi being an orphan, who has never had a proper mother figure in her life, finally has someone she can call Ma. Not just "Masi- Ma" or "Kaki Ma" but actually Ma. And Shiva-Suman bond has always been something that I've loved. Even when I hated it. Perhaps it's because of how powerful performers @kanwardhillon_ & @kruttika_desai ma'am are. Them sharing the screen together is definitely bound to get you all up in your emotions in some way or the other. I also feel some sort of way about the fact that Shiva and Raavi have been blessed by the Gods. Shiva's efforts, his love and devotion has finally been recognised- even when he was not recognised by his family or when the person he loved couldn't see the reason behind his actions, the Lord knows and knew Shiva is pure by heart. He witnessed their journey. From Kawad Yatra to this pooja and perhaps, even from day one. Shiva and Raavi are finally happy together and united for life... And in my head, the heavens rejoice in the same way that they did when Shankar & Parvati united. Something I've always maintained is that Shiva is a man of actions, not words. He is a doer, not a sayer. And most of all his actions always do speak louder than his words>>> I'm really elated to be able to watch this version of Shiva who stands by his wife's side with full haqq, who doesn't hesitate to take a step forward every time she asks for something, who relinquishes all his control only and only for her. I enjoy watching him try to get closer to her, to tease her or simply get lost in her eyes. I really do hope though that we get a track someday where we can see him using his wit, his intelligence and his intuition to solve things rather than having him go around beating up Janardhan or something like that. @sushilchoubay @shilpachoubay PLEASE?
