I…Need to draw Junpei and the Gabumon from the school episode more. My friends are talking about a cool idea they found on Reddit and honestly those two deserve more love omg. I think one of my biggest complaints from Frontier is how they could have given Junpei and Izumi a single episode with him at the end. I know they couldn’t care less about them in the final episodes. The attention all went to Tomoki (2 eps for him???) , Kouichi, Kouji and Takuya (ofc). Junpei and Izumi got 0 after the Trailmon episode and it makes me cry, shout, roll on the floor. I hate Frontier so freaking much.

Ehm, whatever, what I love from that episode is how Izumi was supposed to have her spotlight by bonding with Tsunomon. INSTEAD, Junpei ended up bonding with him much more, worrying about his loneliness and eventually also being the one having the initiative to encourage him to take action.

Izumi was always like, “I can understand how he feels”, “Let’s not annoy him”, “You don’r understand A THING, Junpei”, whereas Junpei just uses his, questionable lol, ways to move the situation forward.

SO YES, I need to draw them. I need to plunge in my silliness much more. I NEED TO FILL 15+ YEARS OF NOTHINGNESS IN THE JUNPEI TAG. I NEED TO MAKE IT EXPLODE.

I just saw Karn EX's video on if the Knowledge armor digimon evolved further, and it got my brain pumping. I actually really like my own idea for Searchmon, becoming Cimbmon and then Shivamon. It almost follows a narrative like Wormmon is searching for a new path in life after the Digimon Kaiser fiasco, climbing mountains while traveling the digital world, and finding enlightenment. Searchmon is a cricket and Climbmon/Shivamon are mantids, which are distantly related. Plus, while it's not the same kind of "worm", Shivamon does come with a horsehair worm around its shoulders.

And while I'm not In Love with this next one, Pharaohmon's gold does circle back around to Armadimon's shell and Digmon having metal drills. Something something digging, bones, archaeology, Ancient Egypt. Armadimon is just so hard to work with. And that's before thinking about how there are basically no more insect digimon to use.

I mean, I'm completely stumped on trying to come up with a better idea for Mothmon or Flybeemon. Do I stick Okuwamon and GrandKuwagamon/GrandisKuwagamon somewhere? RhinoKabuterimon and Ancientbeatmon? I've actually run out of options, to say nothing of good options.

Digimental of (Inner) Peace → It's based on Shivamon. It's also based on a Lotus flower. The crest is also based on Lotus flower. Armor Digimon Motif: the said flower + yoga

Digimental of Serenity → It's based on Dianamon. The crest is based on a full/crecent moon, but also can be seen as the moon's reflection on water. Armor Digimon Motif: Ice, Moon and Hunters.

Any chance you could write something sft for a shivamon hanging out with their quiet/tired tamer? Kinda for the point of a digimon based on such a powerful God paired up with someone who just wants to chill and has no idea what's going on half the time

Shivamon with a quiet/tired Tamer

Shivamon is a Digimon who does prefer the quiet, and to have a Tamer that is more on the tired side and doesn't quite do much and mostly wishes to chill, it fits like puzzle pieces meant to go together.

Shivamon is a Digimon who prefers the soft vibes that they get from their Tamer as well. Doing yoga as they sit in the same room as their Tamer, and often times wondering if they should ask for their Tamer to join in to see if it would help them be less tired. After all, yoga was a nice activity, and was fairly calming, so it might help them.

This Digimon tends to try to enlighten their Tamer as they do yoga, often times talking more in general than actually AT their Tamer, and half the time the poor human isn't even paying attention to what's going on to where they'll glance at Shivamon and only hear them speaking something that SOUNDS cryptic, but really, they just came in at the tail end of the conversation the Digimon was more having with themself.

The two REALLY just sit and vibe together. Shivamon giving off such calming vibes already, and with their Tamer being the way that they are, they take in every bit of it and just sit with Shivamon. Sometimes they watch the Digimon, the hand movements that they do captivating, but then they zone out for the rest of the time without even noticing it.

Truly, these two actually get along without even needing to speak to one another. And should anyone dare approach this Tamer with ill intent, Shivamon is IMMEDIATELY throwing hands. Almost literally. Shivamon doesn ot fuck around when it comes to bad vibes, get them away.

You know considering the alternate mega shenanigans in the Digimon Adventure reboot I have proposed an alternate mega for Flynn’s Veemon

There’s no Vishnumon so Shivamon is the closest we’ll get. It’s colors also fit with the rest of the line. The main mega evo is still Alphamon though. Honestly the only reason I didn’t propose Shivamon sooner is because I’m like “that’s Shiva not Vishnu”, but god knows when we’ll get a Vishnu Digimon.

Let me start by saying that not all Golden Armor Digivolutions are built the same. Making Magnamon evolve into something else feels like an insult, meanwhile Elephantmon just feels like a leftover idea they couldn't squeeze in anywhere. Probably could have made it Armadimon's light armor or Patamon's love armor. But regardless, I have elected to treat the golden armors as perfect levels that evolve from other armors, to...varying efficacy.

Magnamon as a Fladramon evo because they're both V-mon stretched out wearing a mask, shoes, and crop top. Then into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode because it's V-mon's final form and it's super powerful and holy and has gold accents on its white armor. Magnamon is impossible to work with when it's technically an adult, a perfect, and an ultimate at the same time.

Peacockmon as a Toucanmon evo because Toucanmon is one of Hawkmon's only actual bird armors, and it does have blue in its design. I went with Hououmon-X as the ultimate because it's the most Majestic and Miraculous bird, and its wing feathers seem to be made of light.

What a shocker, Armadimon's options suck. As I just said, Elephantmon is basically the least impressive miracle armor. But I used Frogmon as an adult stage for it because they're both cybernetically enhanced with propellers for flight, which is oddly specific. For an ultimate, I guess I made Armadimon evolve into Brigadramon in the end anyway. Blue and silver, dual propulsion system, shoots missiles. It was either that or Gabumon Bond of Friendship. That's the best I got. What do you want me to say? Elephantmon is literally a white elephant.

Rhinomon as a Pegasmon evo is actually decent since they're perissodactyls with gold armor and the studs on Pegasmon's hooves translate into the gems on Rhinomon's headpiece. Huanglongmon is a gold-plated quadruped whose red eyes translate from Rhinomon's gems. It works. I'm not in love with it, but it works.

Maildramon is scarcely better than Elephantmon, and technically it already evolves from an adult. But using Nefertimon as a stopgap between Tailmon and Maildramon does add wings and silver armor with gold accents. It was here that I realized how few options there are for armored dragons that don't belong to Agumon expies. Most of the Royal Knights are dragon men, but we're shockingly lacking in digimon that literally are dragons in knight armor. Dukemon is the most conventional knight out of Royal Knights with a visor on its helmet, albeit covering its mouth and not its eyes. I guess Dynasmon and DORUgoramon work too, but I'm disappointed there isn't something better.

Wormmon is in the same boat as Hawkmon in that I prefer an armor that stays the same taxonomic class, so I chose Searchmon to evolve into Kongoumon. Then HeracleKabuterimon-X is a giant gold bug, although Shivamon might work better conceptually.

Terriermon made me abandon the rules because we do not have armor evolutions for it aside from Rapidmon Gold. I could have easily just used the Tamers line with a gold Rapidmon instead of a green one, but MagnaGarurumon is an idea that adds a bit of freshness. They are supposed to be dogs, after all.

Come on, what the fuck is GoldV-dramon? Get that the fuck out of here. That's even worse than Elephantmon. I shouldn't even be dignifying it with a response. But it can evolve into UlforceV-dramon, sure.
