I keep asking myself why did I have to be led to the educational world. My students drive me crazy more than not most days. It requires a lot of time and dedication. I miss a lot of Maddie stuff because I am always doing school stuff... But then out of the mess of crazy days, there is a bright light. That bright light is a student making a breakthrough, a good choice, and succeeding because of their determination. In those moments I see the reason I am drawn to this field. The intrinsic reward is of great value. In a little under a month, I get to see more of my kiddos graduate.
