Hello! May I request a Yuu! servamp?

A servamp is a vampire servant who serves their Eve (master). You can get two, and they can never leave their eves unless they want to weaken their Eves. Depending on the age range, the younger the servamp, the more space there will be between the servamp and the eve. You can get a servamp by saying its name in its animal form (cat), and a temporary contract will be made that lasts 24 hours. If you drink the eve's blood, you will become its servamp.

Also, could I add that Yuu could be the vampire of sloth and that his Eves are Deuce and Ace?

Sleepy Ash (沈黙する終焉 Surīpī Asshu) or Sloth (怠惰 Taida), and mostly referred to as Kuro (クロ) throughout the series, is the deuteragonist of SERVAMP. Kuro, named by his Eve, Mahiru Shirota, is the Servamp of Sloth. He is the oldest of the eight Servamps. When he is exposed to sunlight, he transforms into a black cat.

Ace and deuce would be exploring the school since orientation just finished everything going smoothly they decided to walk around the School as well a better way to get to know each other after meeting for the first time.

They explore to far and as usual ace was joking around meanwhile deuce was warning him not to do something so stupid but of course that happens and ace accidentally knock over a vase which broke on the floor, they would try to pick up the shard and end up themselves getting a cut, causing some blood drop on the floor.

And this causes an accidental contract with servamp!yuu, who got woken up from their nap. And realized they're in a contract with and when they look at them, they immediately realized that they're doomed.

Since if they're exposed towards sunlight, servamp!yuu would usually be placed in an area with no sunlight they avoid like the plagues preferring in the shadows rather than meeting with the sun.

Since they're not able to go to the sun completely they won't be able to attend nrc but the good thing is there's been a boost of students wanting to have night school so instead of going on daylight servamp!yuu attend classes at night.

While Ace and Deuce were the ones who accidentally formed the contract, servamp!yuu tends to act as if they’re completely uninterested in being their "servant." However, when they need their help, they know better than to expect anything fast. Servamp!yuu will act as if it’s too much of a hassle to move, only showing up when things get dangerously bad or when a bigger issue arises, like an overblot or a fight with an upperclassman.

Servamp!yuu lives for nap time. Whether it’s in the library, under a tree, or in the empty corner of a classroom, they always find a place to sleep. When class is over, they will often vanish for hours, only to reappear when something “exciting” happens. The teachers and students know not to look for them—once they find a good nap spot, they’re gone until they’re needed.

infamous for always being half asleep in class, often dozing off right in the middle of lectures. Crewel has given up trying to keep them awake, and Trein just sighs every time when they walk into his class. When they are awake, they’re often seen doodling in their notes or staring out the window. If the lesson’s too boring, they simply disappears in a puff of mist, only to reappear at the back of the room in their small animal form, curled up on a desk or chair.

Lilia would casually pick them up and spin them around meanwhile their slouching over with a bored and lazy expression. One time idia would try to pet them during their animal form and servamp!yuu look at him and ask "what are you doing bro" and idia release a shreek echoing towards the hallway, servamp yuu cover their ears "what a pain"

For a student that literally lives to sleep, their grades are by far not bad would say it being mediocre for a student not too bad or good just in the middle.

If the place thats overbloting happened to be a place without any shade or something to hide them from the sun, they have no choice but to fight in their cat form which is kinda hassle tbh and they always tried to make excuses to avoid fight because they're lazy "fighting is not my thin" but if ace and deuce are in trouble they have no choice but to participate.

Would casually use their cat form to get things they wanted, free food and pets from students as well no one suspected a cat to be a student so when Crowley was looking for them due to skipping classes, servamp!yuu would shift into their cat form and this immediately escape Crowley's radar.

They would spend much of the day lounging, perhaps reading, listening to music, or just enjoying simple, low-energy activities. They might take naps throughout the day, especially after any strenuous or mentally demanding activities. They might have a few close friends they can rely on for company, like people who understand their desire for a slower pace.

Preferring to move in a slower pace why would you move so fast when you could enjoy the moment and this action would cause them to procrastinate, so if there's a project or work they did it last minute.

If they interact with other students, they may often be seen exchanging sleepy greetings or sharing lazy banter. They likely have one or two friends who enjoy keeping them company during lunch or free periods, allowing them to rest or lounge around together.

Many students don't like their characteristics of moving at a slower pace, vil and riddle specifically always wanting things to get done while students like Leona and malleus understand and amused by their characteristics. Malleus would yap about gargoyles meanwhile servamp!yuu would be chilling and sleeping and when he asked about servamp!yuu opinions on the matter they would answer with a clear one even tho they seem not to be listening they are.

Not to mention vil absolutely hates their posture always telling them to sit straight but this was always ignored by them which angered him even more.

“Indonesia” was once spoken in SeraMyu (Sailor Moon musicals) 2004 - Kaguya Shima Densetsu, when Mamoru talked to other senshi that some of his friends from his University were coming from Sumatra, Indonesia. Then Ami Mizuno (who played by Wakayama Manami) explained that Sumatra is the second island in Indonesia (the first was Java), larger than Japan.

After Sera Myu he performed in the Prince of Tennis Musical and appear in famous Musicals. Yuu played "der Tod" in Elisabeth, in Phantom of the Opera as the Phantom, Romeo et Juliette as Romeo. In 2025 he will play Count Krolock in Dance of the Vampires.

Gyo Miyamoto (2005) appears in only Musical and was the last Tuxedo Mask from Bandai Myu and from Marinamoon. He was the last actor from Tuxedo Mask.

Riona played Tuxedo Mask in The Super Live and also reprised the role in Festival Chronicle. Riona returns in her role as Tuxedo Mask in The Super Live, appearing in every version of The Super Live except London where the role is taken over by Sufa.

Kissed By Death vs. Kissing Death

Trigger Warning: This Post Contains Discussions and Depictions of Suicide.

Warning: Spoilers for "Elisabeth Das Musical"

This should come as no surprise, but I enjoy different variations of the same story. The most subtle differences can change things resulting in a different interpretation.

The performance inspiring this post is the 2016 Japanese production of “Elisabeth das Musical” staring Yuu Shirota as Der Todd (death) and Furukawa Yuta as Prince Rudolph.  The scene: Mayerling Waltz.

In act 2, Rudolph commits suicide at the imperial hunting lodge in Mayerling. This production differentiates itself from others by having Prince Rudolph kiss death rather than death kissing Rudolph. Not only that, but Rudolph independently pulls the trigger rather than in tandem with Der Todd. I thought this was a fantastic artistic choice.

It’s subtle, but REALLY drives home that Rudolph made a conscious decision to end his own life. He holds the gun, thinks about it, then embraces death, taking the kiss for himself. This is a departure from the standard portrayal where death is often seen holding the gun along with Rudolph (sometimes forcing it into his hands) and stealing the kiss just seconds before the gun goes off. Both renditions tell the story of suicide, showing the manic franticness and fear of a person about to make a life ending decision. However, that last part, being kissed by death vs kissing death gives different a slightly different meaning.

This first clip is from the 2005 Austrian production at the Theater an der Wien staring Máté Kamarás as Der Todd and Johann Ebert as Rudolph.

This second clip is from the 2009 Belgium production in Antwerp staring Oliver Arno as Der Todd and Thomas Hohler as Rudolph.

Finally the 2016 Japanese production of “Elisabeth das Musical” staring Yuu Shirota as Der Todd (death) and Furukawa Yuta as Prince Rudolph.

There's a peace there, a release, a forfeit. He fought for as long as he could, but then he just didn't want to fight anymore.

In the typical portrayal of this scene, it seems (to me) that Rudolph's death is rash, impulsive, and he is unsure until the end. Which is also much closer to the historical truth btw.

In refence to the personification of death, there is also the implication that, although Rudolph is suicidal, death is making the ultimate decision, pushing and (in some productions) even forcing Rudolph to kill himself. It makes it as though Der Todd killed Elisabeth's son, which again, in the context of personifying death is a metaphor.

osmanthus and hirakiyo

i never really put any deep thought on why osmanthus was the plant used in utsukare aside from the repeated mention of its scent in several scenes which makes sense bc hirakiyo's story are full of bitter and sweet and bittersweet moments which is how the osmanthus was described several times in the series

but there's also the symbolism of the plant. from a simple search, osmanthus symbolizes:

true love - go rewatch the whole series to know what true love for hirakiyo is. or just watch the proposal (as i call it) scene on the latter part of the movie. true love. period.

faithfulness - hira and kiyoi are each other's first love. never stopped thinking about each other even after the chaotic misunderstanding that happened on graduation day. never even thought of looking at other people the moment they saw each other.

beauty - need i elaborate this? just the title of the show is enough.

devotion - the way they are so devoted to each other is so obvious. they love and care about each other so much they are willing to improve themselves not only for the other but ultimately for themselves.

loyalty - the way hira, using his way of thinking that kiyoi is a king, is so loyal to kiyoi. he never once doubted his king unlike the other classmates, never once questioned his position when the others were considering changing sides. even when he was being the gofer, every command he followed was for kiyoi and not for shirota or the others.

it also has some connection to the moon (from the chinese mythology) and guess who also has connection to the moon? yes. hirakiyo.

thats a lot of words just for me to say osmanthus is perfect to be hirakiyo's representative plant. queen nagira yuu is so valid for choosing osmanthus.

Pretty much everyone I write for I'll write the reader as; however, be specific with how you want your request. If you ask for X Character!Reader, it's usually romantic. If you ask for & Character!Reader, it's usually platonic.

I will not write Character!Reader if the character reader is to be based off is a child, i.e. Klee!Reader. If you want Character!Reader to be that specific character, I write them as being an older sibling of that character and having similar characteristics. Doing another cover for Mamoru's birthday! I was originally planning to cover one of the newer songs like "Sanjou!! Tuxedo Kamen" or "When Destiny Calls," but clips of them are pretty hard to find. Thankfully when scrolling through old Myu Corner posts I found this song, "Tuxedo Versus," which debuted in Black Lady. Kenji Urai originated it, but I really like Shirota Yuu (I kinda have a crush on him haha) so I decided to do his version instead from Mugen Gakuen Kaiteiban (his debut myu).

Also this is the first time I recorded not using a karaoke track, either an existing one or one I made using Audacity. I tried recording with just the track on a whim, and it helped so much with timing that I decided to keep it intact and just lower the volume so my voice stood out more. It might be because it was a live rip track (taken from SeraMyu Antics's live rips of Mugen K songs); this might not work with songs that are not live.

I also am still experimenting with CapCut effects and using CapCut to create a proper title card!

So the other night I randomly came across this clip on YouTube, which based on the comments, features Shirota Yuu in the musical Elisabeth. Elisabeth is a German musical about Empress Elisabeth (nicknamed "Sisi") of Austria that became popular in Japan once Takarazuka started performing it in the '90s; eventually a non-Takarazuka version was staged, and apparently Yuu was part of the 2015 Japanese revival (and also appeared in it in 2010). He plays Der Tod, a personification of Death who is obsessively interested in Elisabeth, and who is (for some reason) deliberately modeled to look like David Bowie. (A lot of comments on this video were people mistaking it for a Labyrinth musical actually). The Japanese productions actually made Der Tod more of a primary character, because the first Takarazuka production was a farewell show for Snow Troupe Top Star Maki Ichiro, and tradition states that the top star male role must be the leading role of the play.

Anyway, back to Yuu-kun...I also found out he has a Spotify and recently released a CD called a singer with covers of songs from musicals, including a different song from Elisabeth (sung with Ramin Karimloo) in Japanese, an Il Divo song in Spanish AND "The Greatest Show" and "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman in English. He also appears on a Japanese CD released earlier this year as part of Disney's Ultimate Princess Celebration, singing a duet version of "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" with Mitsuki Takahata. And it looks like he released an album last year too.

Glad to see he's still out there!

Lol hey so sorry lads I didn’t really post anything on here about Nao’s IG live I p much spent the whole day processing it cos it was A LOT I mean she looked like something out of Dreamcatcher Scream era she was just singing songs like Destined Couple and I Miss You like it wasn’t going to end my life, she made pie charts... SHE MADE PIE CHARTS and she FUCKING RANG YUUKA I MEAN I think yesterday was just a whole moment for Nao stans 😂. Ruria was in the chat, she was definitely talking about Yuu and Yuuko a lot, idk what she said most of the time but I had a vague idea 😂. Someone also asked about Borderless and I mean excuse me does footage of that exist and if it does I would like to see it thank you 😂. If I had the absolute balls I would have wanted to ask about shit that I think about every so often like Ninja Yell and Love no Limit and whatever happened to Marina Kuroki but YOU KNOW ME that wasn’t going to happen 😂. Just watch the whole thing even if you don’t understand what she’s saying cos just Nao being Nao is entertainment enough 😂.
