The Sheringham Point Lighthouse View Trail was a moderately easy and beautifully lush 3.4-km hike in Shirley, BC, and leads to this newly restored Canadian Heritage Site. The lighthouse @sheringhamlight was first illuminated by light-keeper Eustace Arden on Sept 30, 1912, and de-staffed in 1989. In 2010, it was designated a “heritage lighthouse” under the “Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act”.
