OTP Ask + Rylee x Eddie or Nova x Kylo?

Okay I already answered 2 for Rylee & Eddie which can be found here. So I'll answer question 2 for Nova & Kylo!

What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?

Nova and Kylo are pretty much on the same wavelength due to their dyad bond. All it would take is just a simple touch and everything would be okay; no words are needed, just a loving stare and the whole entire galaxy just melts away.

How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

Nova/Kylo: Nova is calculated and strategic. She plays fair because she was raised to do so and because of her Force abilities being exceptionally strong and rather violent, without the need for anger. Kylo uses anger, it fuels his power but wears him out faster and he's brash and goes into battle with the mindset that he's better than others due to his Skywalker bloodline which is mighty. Their clashes is what makes them perfect candidates for partners, for being a dyad in the Force.

Rylee/Eddie: They're both into sci-fi and have a huge appreciated for heavy metal music. Both are extremely kind and loving, plus they're brave in many cases that's not inherently associated with facing down death or an uncertain demise. They both didn't have very good relationships with their fathers but it slightly varies because Eddie's dad taught him very unusual things that young kids shouldn't even know whereas Rylee was left high and dry by that a father that hardly ever present. I necessarily don't believe they clash but rather, perfectly fit together like dumping fries into a milkshake.

Who would end a heated argument by defending their actions with ‘because I love you!’ ?

This would is tough simply for the fact that the both of them would end an argument with that statement because the two of them have been through a lot of crap with their fathers.

What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?

Eddie: He's the grounds Rylee with kisses and touches. He just cuddles up with her and repeatedly places his lips on the top of her head to try and calm her down.

Rylee: She hums his favorite song so he can try to focus on something else other than the vivid images that are still fresh in his mind. Afterwards, once he's settled, she leads him to the bathroom and places him in the shower

Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)

Yes, very often! Rylee will wear his band t-shirts out and about, and usually steals a pair of his boxers to lounge around in. Eddie uses her scrunchies to keep his hair out of his face whenever they're alone in the comfort of each other, and he also wears her hoodies because they fit him just perfectly plus it smells like her

Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Rylee is the protective one, able to hold her own and fight dirty if needed. Eddie knows this and revels in witnessing it first hand but deep down he feels that she's the one that truly needs to be 'protected' because her brashness can get her into sticky situations that she doesn't noticed until it's too late

Describe their cozy night in.

Laying on the bed, either watching TV or playing Go Fish, the two of them listening to the rain that pelts on the roof.

Who would beg the other not to leave? Who has to leave to protect the other?

If Rylee is staying at the Munson trailer, it's usually Eddie who begs her not to leave because she has such family dinners or school clubs to attend to and he's selfish in the sense that he just wants her to himself.

Eddie is the one who leaves to protect her just so she's not associated with him being an accomplice in manslaughter; and in a spoiler sense, because her father tries to pry himself back into her life and Eddie does not meet his standards. Oh, boy.

Would they build a pillow fort together just because?

They're children at heart. Hell, they'd have a water balloon fight for fun.

What happens if one of them gets sick?

Rylee would self quarantine and take care of herself just so Eddie wouldn't get sick, but he'd take no part in it. He'd break her 'rules' of confinement and purposely get sick so they can hang out together.

What are their thoughts on having children?

Rylee wouldn't mind having kids, but her fear is that she'll somehow turn out like her parents and not be good enough to care for her offspring. Then Eddie would be absolutely wizard for the chance to be a dad; to pass on his knowledge and his love for things to his child.

Describe their first date.

Rylee went to the Hideout to listen to the live music because though her aunt has a reasonable amount of money, she hates asking for handouts so that's her place for live entertainment. She noticed Eddie and his band playing, listening to them doing covers of popular songs and she enjoyed it. Eddie noticed her from his one classes and after the set was done, he and her hung out.

It’s the song that their fanfic is titled after which is After Dark by Mr.Kitty. Especially the bridge verse of:

21. Who would get into a fight to defend the other's honor? Who tends to the other's wounds?

In a verbal fight, it’s all Eddie. But if it’s a physical, hand to hand combat, Rylee takes over without a thought. They bot tend to each other’s wounds but it’s mostly Eddie because he’s familiar with road rash, stiff and strained fingers, bruises, and all the other sort of minor injuries one gets from rocking out too hard. Plus he enjoys the imitate moments of those.  

22. What reminds each of their partner?

Eddie reminds Rylee of: Rainy nights. Muffled TV static. Smell of faint cigarettes, moist earth, and spearmint. Denim vests. Bulky metal rings. Cocktails. 

Rylee reminds Eddie of: Vinyl. Candyland board game. Comics. Enamel pins. Stickers. Checkered Vans. Smell of baby powder, wild cherries, and melon cucumber. 

23. Who's more likely to convince the other to stay in bed come morning?

Eddie. Rylee really isn’t a morning person but she still manages to wake up before Eddie and when she needs to use the bathroom or wants to get up and loosen up her joints, Eddie feels the shift in bed and politely requests for her to stay in bed longer. 

24. Who's more likely to give the other a massage?

Eddie, just so he can admire her collarbones and work the knots in her neck loose. Also because he loves hearing her soft moans

25. Do they have any hobbies they share?

Knot tying. Thrifting. Roleplaying games. Arcade gaming. 

26. What are their vices?

Lust. Neediness. Jealousy. Sodemy. 

27. Who is the light weight that needs to be taken care of after a party?

Rylee’s the lightweight, she’s not used to drinking. She’s more of a weed smoker, but even then she only takes two hits and she’s done. 

28. What are there thoughts on pet names? Do they have any?

Pet names are a major part of their romantic life; it’s how they express their fondness of each other. 

Eddie’s pet names for Rylee is: Lee. Sweetheart. Love Bug. Wild Thing. Darling. 

Rylee’s pet names for Eddie is: Stud Muffin. Goober. Loverman. Edweirdo. 

29. Who is more likely to jump in an elevator? Who freaks out?

Rylee jumps and Eddie is the one who freaks out, but then gradually begins jumping with her.

They’re as handsy as they come. One part of their body always has to be touching the other. Eddie usually rests his hand on her thigh and props his knee to touch hers as they sit next to each other. Rylee intertwines their arms and/or fingers.
